Purchasing new quartz countertops through Lowe's has been a nightmare! It has been weeks since we initiated the process and still no countertops. The template was done and the employee doing it complained so much about there being shiplap on our walls above the counter that we told him we'd just do the demo of the existing counters ourselves since he couldn't handle it. We should have known then to go with another company. After the template, we waited over a week before the quote came in and paid it in full immediately to get the process started. Komi worked with us during this process and he was absolutely wonderful! I wish he could have helped us all the way through. He was the only employee that was helpful during this process. We signed a contract stating it should take about 3 weeks for fabrication and installation. We were told that Mackenzie would be helping us up until installation. We were then notified that there was a delay in the installer receiving the material. It took 3 weeks just for the installer to receive the slabs. My husband called Lowe's several times to follow up after we were told the material was received because they did not contact us as we were told. Finally, 5 days after receiving the material, we finally hear back from the installer. They sent a picture of the slab for us to approve and we did so immediately. Now, they have scheduled us for another 2 weeks away. We will get to host Easter this year with no countertops. I'm very frustrated that we paid a lot of money for such awful service. This will be our last Lowe's purchase.
