Dollar Tree - Customer service/ employee's

I was at store # 3849 300 Main St Nashua NH on 12/15/2022 at 12:13 pm They had 3 female employees working. They were complaining and talking badly about the manager and the schedule etc. Not paying attention to what they were doing as they were ringing customers out. I was being rung up and Kristen was extremely rude to me and other customers. I said can you double check what you rung up I saw you over ring a few items. She was ripping items out of my bag slamming them down. Told me oh well we do not have enough workers, if I don't like it go to a different store and leave! She never refunded or voided my over charged items. told me to contact Martha her GM. I will NEVER go back to that store again and I was a good customer there since I work around the corner. I want my money back for the items I was over charged like $10.00 due to this cashier being so focused on talking and complaining about people and then yelling at me when I asked her to fix HER Mistake

Desired outcome: My Money back! Please call if you need more info. These employees shouldn't even have a job

Yeah they don't refund, only exchanges whether it's your fault or theirs.i stopped going to one dollar tree because the cashiers had sucky customer skills.so I started going to another one.things were going good until the raise of .25 cents.its majorly noticeable and I can't afford the extra .25 cents so I've had to cut back drastically.its bad enough my rent was raised almost $200 and I'm on disability, can't drive, delivery is expensive plus something like the same thing oz etc is actually cheaper at the grocery store.the paper bags don't have handles and rip easily.during the summer before the raise of .25 cents,my landlord refuses to replace a rug and I couldn't leave my floor damaged from the last landlord so I saw these long pieces of carpets so once a month I would grab about 5 each time but they're heavy lifting all together so I got in line with this one cashier.i put one rug on the counter and told her I had like 8 more? On the bottom of the cart.shes like "I need to scan every one of them" I said "they're heavy, come around and scan them for inventory" she looks at me and asked for a manager.the manager asked how many I had and I told them.they scanned one and put x8 which was logical as I had been in customer service since 1986 but switched professions to work at a hospital which I got injured putting me on disability.anyways early this month I think the same cashier waited on me? I brought my grocery store bags with me,I put different things in each bag from heavy to delicate before I go to the counter because it's easier for me to handle.i put one bag of litter on the counter and told her I had 5 more bags, she didn't complain this time but said the amount looking everywhere except on me.i said "my cart is full,I'll put the bags on the counter" she says "oh" and proceeded to pour out the contents on the counter.all finished and said "thank you" no reply from her.so those carts have the poles so people don't rip them off? So I waited inside while my friend pulled up the car.there was this older lady with a cane and about 3 paper bags full and was starting to head out the door just noticing the pole.the cashier yelled "you can't take the cart out!" So she looked confused as to how she was going to bring the bags out.so another customer asked her if she needed any help which she did.he told her to pull the car around and he'd bring the bags out.that cashier sucks and it sucks that she is still employed,as I can imagine this wasn't her first time being rude and not empathetic.i get home, empty my bags.i had picked out candy cane spoons in a box which it was the only box that the canes weren't broken.but with the cashier dumping everything on the counter, the candy canes were broken.i can't give the kids broken candy canes! So in conclusion, and I know the dollar tree won't do anything to make it right, you have to put the amount back to $1 otherwise you'll lose big time! And your cashier's need training how to wait on people without a sucky attitude.so that's my Christmas story, thanks, merry Christmas
