PC Richard & Son - Don't buy their service contracts! I've been dealing with this for 5 days now and now it's the weekend:.

Don't buy their service contracts!They are a total rip off and waste of money!

I called about a problem with a dryer. I was told to call back with product number and serial number even tho they had that information in front of them. I called back the next day and set up an appointment for service?. I was told I would be contacted by P C Richard & Son service department) in within 24 hours".

Three days later - no phone call!. Called P C Richard & Son back and they said "oops, they dont service your brand" We'll call someone else.. I've been dealing with this for 5 days now and now it's the weekend:.

My 84 year old mother who is incontinent has no means of doing laundry and I need to wait again for a phone call from a company that may or may not call?.P C Richard & Son dropped the ball completely!

PC Richard & Son - .. I won't be back anytime soon to buy either whirlpool products or anything p c richard & son sells.

I bought a Whirlpool Microwave at p c richard & son in Aug of 202.It broke in Oct of 2012 just after two months of use?.

I followed the instructions in the owners booklet and a repair tech was sent out to fix the problem.. A new part was ordered and arrived here in two days but the repair tech took another week to get back to replace the part|. After installing the replacement part low and behold it burned up again.. WRONG PART!

Now another part was ordered and will take about two more weeks to get here and another week for the tech to be sent out to install the new part". Thats over one month without my microwave!. I called p c richard & son corp office and they said if Whirlpool would approve and exchange then I could take the broken one back to the store and would be given a replacement but Whirlpool said no, they won't do that!.

So thanks for nothing Whirlpool and p c richard & son..I won't be back anytime soon to buy either Whirlpool products or anything p c richard & son sells.

PC Richard & Son - This was our first experience withp c richard & son and it will be the last one.

We purchased a diswasher from p c richard & son in Paramus NJ, and the delivery and installation was scheduled.It took off from work that day and waited for the delivery.

Nobody showed up or called. When I called the company, they said there was a problem and they re-scheduled the installation the next day, So I took off from work the next day and waited. Again nobody called or showed up.

I called them and they told me a wrong diswasher was delivered to the store.So they re-scheduled again.
This was our first experience with p c richard & son and it will be the last one!

PC Richard & Son - Now 86 hours later no email.This was my first and last purchase from P C Richard & Son.

I called store on Monday from store to corporate and back to store.

No one knew anything not even that I had ordered a TV. Called store back finally got some one who said it might be on truck. Had to call them again to find out it wasn't. Later I checked my email to find they said I would be notified in 72 hours when I could pick up TV.

Now 86 hours later no email.This was my first and last purchase from P C Richard & Son.

PC Richard & Son - this location and get rid of the people running that store. It was totally unbelievable.

When I was finally addressed, I was met with the general manager's rolling eyes and spoken down to disrespectfully (So bad in fact that the only halfway decent human being for an employee in the building had taken it upon himself to apologize for the actions of his peers and managers). Also, the sales people on the floor gathered to watch as if my wife and I were some sort of spectacle. The entire staff was completely rude and unprofessional, from the girl chattering on her cell phone playing with her nails ignoring customers to the sales staff and especially management.

From what I understand, this is a very old company and was founded in good faith and pride in the care for the customer. Whoever runs the company now however should be ashamed to have disgraced the good faith of their founder for he surely is rolling over in his grave. I will never step foot into that pit of thieving, conniving, shiftless snake oil salesmen ever again. Management acts as if they are too good to deal with you and arrogantly strut about the store as if they believe they are Wall Street big shots. As we were trying to work out my issue, the sales people on the floor surrounded us with arms crossed and whispering amongst each other leaving us to feel even more pressured.

My wife said it was one of the most uncomfortable situations she had ever been in, not to mention the creepy ogling and staring. They clearly must make many women feel uncomfortable, and no man should let his wife go there alone. The salesmen, smelling of cigarette smoke, had a predatory look in their eyes and dealing with them makes you feel as if you're at a back room poker game. Upper management in this corporation should be thoroughly embarrassed and I pray that not all the locations bare any resemblance to this one. The total lack of character and respect in management has surely rubbed off on the lower level employees as this has been the single worst experience I have ever had as a consumer. Before any others are treated in this fashion, corporate management should absolutely re-analyze practices at this location and get rid of the people running that store. It was totally unbelievable.

PC Richard & Son - whatever you do, don't shop p c richard & son at all especially the one in paramus, nj!!!

I ordered an entire kitchen(frig, dishwasher, microwave, range) to be deliver.I was promised that ALL parts would be delivered and the frig and range would be set up and another company would install my microwave and range.

Well, NO DELIVERY ON . I had to call to see what the problem was, only to find out that THEY SCREWED UP. I spoke with the delivery person, sales manager, and general manager. Only to be unsatisfied and unpleased without ALL my stuff.

I was told that night that only half my stuff was in the store and I had to wait two days more for the rest. WHAT! I was not told this from the beginning only after SEVERAL CALLS back and forth to the store and that information came well after delivery should have happened. I was inconvienced for two entire days only to be asked to be inconvienced some more.

I dislike the store, will not ever buy from them again and don't recommend them to anyone?. They screw up and expect you to just deal with it'. I spent thousands of dollars and it did not even matter to them to do top notch work nor rectify THEIR MISTAKE and make a next day delivery;. The store is in Paramus, NJ and the warehouse is in NJ, NYand they can't get product that HAS BEEN PAID FOR in the store for 2 days delivery because it IS INCONVIENT FOR THEM AND IT IS NOT WHAT THEY DO eventhough it is there fault and lack of customer service, honesty, and organization/.

Therefore they blame the customer and feel you should not yell at them (because I was yelling and upset) because it gets you no where (ok maybe but you don't tell the irrate customer that) and there is just nothing they can do and this is the best it gets|. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T SHOP P C RICHARD & SON AT ALL ESPECIALLY THE ONE IN PARAMUS, NJ! By the way they put you on hold for almost 10 minutes when you call!. This is rediculous".

I have never been so angry and fustrated and disrespected and insulted..HORRIBLE HORRIBLE P C RICHARD & SON.

PC Richard & Son - Will not buy from P C Richarf & Son in Paramus again.

Purchased a refrigerator was delivered but salesperson had put the wrong model on the paperwork?. Poor delivery drivers had it all unwrapped and found out that it did not fit the space'. Called the store and ask for a manager, he wouldn't even speak with us forwarded the call to our sales person?. Who the most he could say was I am sorry that I screwed up:. That didn't help me that we getting a frig that day nor could we be guaranteed of delivery even the next day with a timeframe;.
Went and picked it up ourselves and are still fighting to get the delivery charge removed, .
There 3 hr window and the 40 minute call of arrival is a joke'. when they called to say they would be there in 40minutes I set the timer and they finally showed in 100 minutes'.
Will not buy from P C Richarf & Son in Paramus again.

PC Richard & Son - I was furious that we had been told that by two different salesmen which was a total lie.

We purchased two tv's and a sound system from P C Richard & Son in Paramus and had two different salesmen George & Nick S who both told us the same thing that if anything went wrong with the product and they can't fix it they would replace it.We brought our speaker for the sound system home and it started making a cracking noise so we took it back to the store to have them fix it.

After about four weeks we took a trip to the store and they told us they didn't know where it was that they would check into it. So we gave them another two weeks and while my husband was in the front of the store checking on it I took a walk back and found the salesman and told him the problem we were having and that if they don't fix it I would be getting another one like he said. He told me not to say anything to the manager that he said that to us. I was furious that we had been told that by two different salesmen which was a total lie.

We eventually got our speaker back but I feel we shouldn't be lied to when a purchase is made.They truly do not stand by their word and I will never buy anything else from them.

PC Richard & Son - I had been warned about the service and products of p c richard & son in paramus so now I'm warning others.

I bought a VCR and returned it 3 hrs later.The manager said the computers were down so the next day I wasted another trip to the store only for the rude and obnoxious manager to tell me they would mail me a check in 10 days.

He was so confident that the company would uphold his rudeness that he gave me a non working number to corporate office to complain to.

I had been warned about the service and products of p c richard & son in paramus so now I'm warning others.There are too many competitors to ever shop at a store like that.

PC Richard & Son - P C Richard & Son in Paramus do not the right thing for me and my family.not a great xmas for us.

i brought new sony 3-d tv.After one year the flat pannel went out.

Part no longer made. I also brought ext warranty. They say replace or fix what a joke & a wast of money for ext warranty. I also call sony no help from them.

I will never buy anything from hhgreg. Buyer Beware--------------------or sony--------------- as of today 2013 no tv. With no help. May they will do the right thing & give me a new tv.

But after one year ther is little hope.

P C Richard & Son in Paramus do not the right thing for me and my family.not a great xmas for us.

PC Richard & Son - I'm about to throw in the towel and buy an inexpensive top loader - and NOT ONE SERVICE CALL.

My husband bought this washing machine (and matching dryer) as a surprise for me to replace my 15 year old top-loading machine.He bought it at P C Richard & Son in Paramus..

The machine began to have problems after one month. It started with the drum not spinning. After fighting with P C Richard & Son in Paramus..
they covered the + repair fee. Since then we have replace the door latch - twice.

No warranty coverage. Just replaced the draining pump.. No warranty coverage.

And was told the hinge on the door will need to be replaced soon.

The door must be left open between washings to prevent nasty things from happening.I'm about to throw in the towel and buy an inexpensive top loader - and NOT ONE SERVICE CALL.

PC Richard & Son - I waited 3 weeks during which I could have bought the TV from somewhere else/.Bad customer service

I bought a led screen TV online on November 25th.I was eagerly waiting for the TV to arrive, but no response after one week..I checked the status on December 2nd and I was told by Customer service, I will get it on 17th|.I got an email saying order is ready for pickup|.When I called Customer service they say they canceled my order and they put the blame on me for canceling the order which I never did..I called only once to check status on 2nd and they say that was for canceling order which was not..They canceled on Dec 16th, if it was for my call on 2nd, why did they wait for 2 weeks before canceling it?/.I waited 3 weeks during which I could have bought the TV from somewhere else/.Bad customer service too, blaming me for canceling the order which I never did'.Will never go back to P C Richard & Son in Paramus store.

PC Richard & Son - pc richard & son would not increase my credit.. so I had to put it on another charge,

i purchased over $5000.00 worth of appliances .As long as I was buying I got the whole sales pitch, my contracter made a mistake and I had to return my washer and Dryer for a smaller but more expensive one.the whole time the sales person Grorge was complaining about all the work.

I told her I work to ..anyway while she was adding up all the new charges she added the first delivery charge again maybe by mistake |.anyway when I called her she denied it !.my other complaint is because I bought differntappliances (smaller) they were more expensive and PC Richard & Son would not increase my credit ..so I had to put it on another charge, no big deal I was going to pay the whole thing anyway|.needless to say I am done with your salesperson George in paramus and if I buy my Flatscreen TV I will go someplays else|.My new delivery she would not give me a date either;.I am trying to put my house back together I lost everything I should not have to deal with this because he wants his comission!.I would like them to give me a date when they pick up the big washer & Dryer and deliver the new smaller ones so my kitchen guy can start with my kitchen.

PC Richard & Son - .When I contacted PC Richard & Son in Paramus again and asked them to replace the machine

I purchased a combination clothes washer/dryer at a PC Richard & Son in Paramus sale.I was told that it was a display model, which was also stated on the receipt.

When the item was delivered I noticed there was stagnate water in the bottom of the machine.. I also noticed a tag which was tied to the machine stating that it had been returned for repair due to "the drying function not operating properly";. I asked PC Richard & Son in Paramus about this and they assured me that it was a working floor model!. I connected the machine and found it did not dry at all or drain properly, .

When I researched the product further I found it had indeed been returned to be repaired, but repairs had not been preformed?. And then resold at sale as a floor model;. When I contacted PC Richard & Son in Paramus again and asked them to replace the machine with a floor model as stated on the receipt or return my payment, they refused saying it was a final sale and that they were not obligated to replace or refund that item!.

Its a TOTAL SCAM…Everything, before during and after the sale (as they say.)First and foremost, they opened multiple credit cards in my name without my knowledge, saying that I was simply being sent a "new card" and blatantly lied to my face as the salesman reassured me that my credit was not being run, which should be illegal if it isn't already.And, from other complaints I've read this has apparently been going on for some time as well as there have been charges of the misuse and theft of personal information.

Additionally they attempted to insidiously and grotesquely over charge me.Taking advantage of a customers kind nature and reluctance to be forced into haggling and arguing, I was told I was getting a discount and free warranty when in fact I came to discover that I had paid far more for the item than I would have paid at any of there competitors. So much for their price guarantee. All they do is jack up prices and make you feel as if your getting a discount, and despite their supposed "love" for the local community, have been ripping people off for years...lies and trickery. When I attempted to cancell my order at the Paramus location, I was left waiting, staring at the clock and missing a previous engagement I had while the utterly incompetent employees passed the buck up the chain of command.

PC Richard & Son - the delivery guys didn't even want to install the stove correctly

I bought a stove from them with "free delivery".That meant I paid for delivery and got a gift card for the delivery price.

The delivery guys didn't even want to install the stove correctly. I had to make them. Now I got to use my gift card and find out there has been monthly "service " charges. My 59.99 is now worth 43.29.

I will never step foot into another P C Richard & Son in Paramus!

I don't have anything else to add but have to to get to bad words.So here are a few more to make it to bad.

PC Richard & Son - I've made multiple calls to NJ warranty company, wasted so much time and still no one contracted to repair this fridge.

Frigidaire gallery series - In 6/2011, I bought this for $1, 700 plus tax, delivery and 5-year premium warranty. Refrigerator stopped running on 2-10-13 and lost all food. It is [protected]. I've made multiple calls to NJ warranty company, wasted so much time and still no one contracted to repair this fridge. Store and warranty do not have timeframe on when fridge will be repaired or replaced. I'm praying not to have heart attack dealing with these crooks! Talk about organized crime

PC Richard & Son - I should have just stuck with home depot at least they can add correctly.Don't waste your time and money in P C Richard & Son.

I was overcharged for my washer dryer set - spent 4 hours on the phone with some of the rudest customer service people I've ever dealt with.Finally I was told I'd get a refund...still waiting after 2 weeks so I called again.

They just told me they have no record of any refund. I'm on hold again while I write this. Been sitting here listening to dead air for 40 minutes. What a bunch of dopes.

PC Richard & Son - i will no longer shop at p c richard & son in paramus and will pass along this feedback to other consumers

P C Richard & Son in Paramus, NJ, be aware the Sales Personnel Nick S do not know what they are selling.Two sales representatives sold me devices or attempted to sell me devices that would stand alone connect to the Internet, a TV and a Blu-ray device.

The manager witnessed a Sales representative attempting to make a sale and had to correct the transaction.

In general P C Richard & Son Coporate investigates the complaint, but there is no feedback to the consumer.
If the consumer is right at the minimum there shoiuld be some apology, and at most the opportunity to make it right for the consumer.Since neither of these are being done I will no longer shop at P C Richard & Son in Paramus and will pass along this feedback to other consumers.

PC Richard & Son - p c richard & son in paramus employees do not want to and they they do not have any ability to resolve any problems..

I have a refrigerator from P C Richard & Son in Paramus..It is almost 7 years old, .

It has failed 5 times already (ruining all the food) Every time I have to get service, I have to track down all the warranty and extended warranty information, because P C Richard & Son failed upload my warranty to MayTag, not once, twice, three time, four times, 5 times, but now 6 times!. Each time my refrigerator is down for over a week and P C Richard & Son in Paramus from all calls to the local store and the corperate offices, NOT EVEN 1 P C Richard & Son in Paramus employee would or even could help me'. They all apologized and said they made a mistake AGAIN, but I would just have to wait on Maytag to get the updated information and call me, . P C Richard & Son in Paramus also told me there is no way to contact Maytag for me;.

This has been my experience with P C Richard & Son in Paramus evey time I have an issue with the shotty refrigerator they sold me".

If you ever do buy from P C Richard & Son in Paramus, do not ever except for them to help with any resolution to your problems.P C Richard & Son in Paramus employees do not want to and they they do not have any ability to resolve any problems.

PC Richard & Son - never shop at or buy anything at p c richard & son in paramus.

I will not go into detail except to say NEVER SHOP AT or BUY ANYTHING at p c richard & son in paramus.Even if you spend your money on an extended warrenty it is still useless.

Their store managers, corporate office and customer service is horrid. Multiple phone calls, hours on the phone and still no where. They never return the call as they say they will. They have to be the worst store I have dealt with in my 103 years on earth.

Unfortunately, I had to find this out after spending almost $4, 000.00 in their store..I would much prefer in the future to use Best Buy or anyone else.

Getting suckered into an extended warranty is who's fault? Shopping at BBY - the same nonsense. Why waste gas. Why expose yourself to stress. Shop online at Amazon and others.

PC Richard & Son - so I am sitting in new jersy with no tv for the weekend in the middle of winter?. thanks p c richard & son in paramus.

I bought a brand new entertainment system November only to come home to a TV that needs to be repaired.I had bought a special warranty for my TV with P C Richard & Son.

Only to find out that they really don't want to replace my TV until sometime next week. Plus it will take three different groups to replace my TV. One to pick it up, one to drop off another one, and one to repair it. Yah I get to sit around and wait for someone three different times|.

In the mean time I am paying for services that I can't use?.

So I am sitting in New Jersy with no TV for the weekend in the middle of winter?.Thanks P C Richard & Son in Paramus.

PC Richard & Son - and why would p c richard & son not try to solve the problem??? no commom sense

I purchased a new side by side refrigerator to replace a side by side that I purchased from them 9 years ago...When delivery guy showed up he said that he could not hook my refrigerator up because it did not have a copper line to ice maker...

When I purchased the thing years ago it must have been ok... I don't have a problem with paying for an upgrade but the option was not available... He's just the delivery guy... Why would P C Richard & Son send a unit out with out looking into the hookup?

And why would P C Richard & Son not try to solve the problem? No commom sense...

No cusomer service skills...My advise is go elswhere like I did!

PC Richard & Son - never again with p c richard & son in paramus. I dont care how cheap.

I went to P C Richard & Son in Paramus to buy a fridge and washer and dryer was very nice in the store. Although we paid 1400 for a whirlpool duet set and got no pedestals for the washer or dryer in the price. Then the delivery guy went to the wrong adress and to our benefit we had to wait another day!
Once the 2 delivery guys show up, one walks through my house, with his work boots on, uses a bag i had supplies in as a garbage bag never asked for the garbage|. Did not take the plastic off the fridge that i paid 1600 for than left put the handles on the fride but left the plastic on the floor:.
The product is nice/ But pick up your own ***, .
The delivery guy never once said ok MrS **** your appliance are set thanks/.
Then to put the icing on the cake the dummy said your gonna get a survey just press 5 for all the questions.
NEVER AGAIN WITH P C RICHARD & SON IN PARAMUS. I dont care how cheap.
