I call and have my number taken down for " someone to cll me back". I went on the internet to double check if maybe I was wrong and nope to my surprise I was over charged on both the washer and dryer'.
I spoke with the " manager" and he says" I need to call the main company to verify the price on the net" ummm, helloo if your looking at it wth is the problem?. Mangers SOLVE problems /. I dropped 3000 and u can't even assist within the same day... F...k that !

I purchased a stackable washer & Dryer for my brand new town home.So I did a screen capture to ensure I had some proof of purchase.
I scheduled delivery for Tuesday. They called me around 12pm that morning to notify me my delivery window was from 12pm-3pm. They call around 2pm to get further directions to my residence. They arrive around 2:40 for delivery and installation.
They start to unbox the washer/dryer. As well as ensure I have a stacking kit and checked the location of the laundry closet which is on the 3rd floor. Then one of the guys ask me to come outside and he shows me the knob is broken on the washer. Tells me they'll bring another one on Wednesday.
So they leave the dryer in my garage. The dispatch person calls later that night to confirm. I provided my work number because I don't have access to my mobile while at work. I'm told on Wednesday morning my delivery window is between 9-12 and they called my cell even though I specifically told them to use my work number.
I ensure the driver uses my work number once he's in route so I can meet them there. They call around 11am. I meet them there and they begin to unbox the new washer and start to bring it through my garage and stops. They tell me they don't have the dryer kit so they'll have to send another delivery to bring that and complete the installation the following day.
At this point I'm pissed off. They are wasting my time! I'm on the verge of telling them to take back everything and refund me my money. So I'm told my delivery window is from 12-3 on Wednesday.
I stay at my desk nearly the entire work day so I don't miss the call. No call ever comes. I get home and call P C Richard & Son Customer service. I'm told the truck is running late.
She's gives me no ETA or anything. So I'm wasting even more time! The delivery truck doesn't show up until 6pm, . Three hours past their delivery window|.
And not only that'. THEY STILL DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT KIT TO HOOK UP MY WASHER & DRYER! I call and speak to an P C Richard & Son manager! I went off on them".
The best they could do is to comp my delivery charge! At this point, the machines are still in my garage and they are suppose to come on Sat before 12pm to finally complete this week long task:.
NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH P C RICHARD & SON IN PARAMUS!Whatever front end savings I gained on the washer & dryer price I paid for dearly in wasted time and frustration!

Lets just say I personally would not purchase anything from them. 80% of the items that we installed by us from them were outdated, repacked, or scratch and dented items they purchase in bulk most likey from Sears and other major outlet stores. The customers never new what they were getting and a lot of the time the blame for the problems with the appliances were blamed on the installers, .
So before you go to a P C Richard & Son and spend your hard earned money go to Sears or Best Buy and you will get new appliances that work for more then a week'.beware of this scam they portray.

I am a applainces installer that works for them and most of the appliances they sell are rejects from sears and other major stores.The customers are being lied to and one of the big bosses is nothing but a con man/.
He has his warehouse guys repacking damaged items to look new when in fact they should not be sold in the first place|.

I was going to let this situation go and hope that you raised this issue hirer in the company for me...however, I received the refrigerator today and after letting it settle for almost 12 hours I started to bring food in from the cold. To my surprise, all of my frozen food had thawed and was no longer good.
Furthermore, the man who delivered the refrigerator this morning said he had heard about my situation and thought it was crazy that I had been put through all of this. He explained that the warehouse is a 3rd party warehouse and even went as far as stating that he had to go through TWO other refrigerators before he found one that wasn't dented.
My frustration comes in at the point that I did not buy the $1000 refrigerator from the warehouse. I bought it from P C Richard & Son in Paramus store. The store is who should be handling this and I should not have to contact the warehouse. I am the customer of the store...not the warehouse. Since the store has continued to point fingers and place blame elsewhere and not help me in any way...I am now turning to Corporate.
I work every day with a 3rd party warehouse in my job. I know exactly that our customers do NOT talk to the warehouse because our customers are ours and not the warehouses. I am hoping that you will raise my situation to the proper people above and beyond the customer service rep that I spoke with on Monday. I am expecting contact from a manager or someone higher up in the company who is willing to help with this situation.

I was shopping around for a new refridgerator for my rental unit?. I stopped into P C Richard & Son in Paramus on my way back to Best Buy, having never been in the store'. There are signs POSTED ALL OVER 10% to 20%OFF"/. Because the cost of this fridge was not that much higher (75-100) than Best Buy, with the free delivery and for the convenience, professioanlism and warranty I thought I would receive, I applied for credit '.
. it was charged to my account and a bill was given to me to sign. I noticed I was being charged for the delivery. I brought this to the attention of the sales person who MISrepresented to me that it would be credited to my account and after we complete the sale he would give me the form to sign and mail.
He even made the copies for me and stapled everything together. (I should have been suspicious at that time the rush he was in for me to mail it out, and his obvious hope I would not read teh small print on this form GIVEN TO ME AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE SALE). When I got the bill I called the credit card company b/c it was not credited. They said to call the store.
I thought I would give it a little more time in the hopes it would come on my next bill. When it did not I called the store. After being transfered from about two ignorant people to an even more abrasive ignorant person and being told that it was a rebate that was going to be given to me in the form of a Visa Gift Card. Had I wanted to purchase a Visa Gift Card, why would I go to P C Richard & Son for that.
I was irate. The indivdiual hung up and on me and I called Corporate who was not as rude but even more ignorant. IT IS BAIT AND SWITCH / FRAUD AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED if you give the person the form with the information after the fact. I FILED WITH CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND RECOMMEND ANYONE WITH THESE ISSUES DO SO.

On the February my family was treated with much disrespected by staff, cashier and management at the Paramus store still waiting to hear from district management, Mike Evan, lack of customer service, race being a factor, ultimately no purchase made bought $1100 worth of electronic at the hilliard store, there.Wr were treated like customers.

P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ. Joe Botros JR. 8246 gave my personal information to a third party company after I specifically told them I did not want any solicitation calls, and was assured that I would not receive any.Unfortunately, that is not the case.
I now get up to 5 calls a day from this third party company soliciting a warranty for the washer I bought at P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ I reported this to P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ customer service to no avail;.

My parents purchased a $1000 LED LG TV for my sister at P C Richard & Son in Paranus NJ in Febuary.The box had damage in one corner, but an associate assured them that it would be fine because there was so much packing material that protected the TV.
When the TV was removed from the box, the damage was not perceptible until the set was plugged in. On the left-hand side of the set was a white ribbon. After closer inspection, we found a crack on the corner on the back side of the TV. We were told by customer service to return the TV to the store (Paramus NJ) with all of the packing materials.
The TV was returned (or attempted to be returned) mid week. All we wanted to do was exchange the set for an undamaged one. We immediately told the sales associate (and later the manager) that we noticed the box was slightly damaged when it was originally purchased and called attention to it. After taking approximatley one hour to "fill out the necessary forms" the manager informed us that they would not exchange the TV, nor could we return it.
He accused us of dropping the TV, . Talk about pissed off!
We left the the store with the useless TV, $1000 of credit card debt and no customer service|.If you have an electronic or applicance purchase in your future, we highly recommend that you go anywhere, but P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ .

Family member purchased a stove at P C Richard & Son in Paramus NJ, which was delivered today.Talk about lie and deception in order to make a sale...never did he say we were quoted for a floor model stove that would be all scratched up on top of it!
When I called to complain to him, he said he told me this, (which he clearly DID NOT)! and that he would give us a brand new model for the same price and then just hung up on me!

We purchased an washer from P C Richard & Son in Paramus. After installation, the water valve would turn on and off in rapid succession and the water flow would slow down and speed up on its own. It had a mind of its own. An P C Richard & Son technican came to our home and said that that was common with that model and he could not do anything. The problem has progressively gotten worse and the water flow has diminished. It takes a long time fo fill up the machine. I spoke with P C Richard & Son manager, James, who told me that he could send another technician; but, it would cost me more than the cost of a new washer. he offered 5% off on a new washer. Obviously P C Richard & Son is not interested in service. I am going to replace the washer at a big-box retailer or internet store.P C Richard & Son in Paramus has lost its customer service and they have lost me as a customer.

Unbelievable! I call the warranty repair company and, conveniently, they are shipping it to the manufacturer the next day because they can't repair it through their repair service. Says it will take another 2-4 weeks before I can expect it back. This is absolutely ridiculous and extremely poor servicing".
How is it that the repair company has to send it to another repair company? Why not just cut out the middle man and authorize either in-home service or authorized referral to a repair company I can take it to myself and get back in a reasonable time frame/. Both the store manager and warranty company were less than helpful in getting this resolved in a timely manner". It's not like this was some super high tech system'.
It was 2 of an 8 piece component that needed repair!. 3 weeks and the system still has not been worked on;. Outrageous! If I could refund it, I would in a heartbeat!.

I had a bad experience in the beginning the problem came after the sale when an issue arose.I bought a Fridge, Stove, Washer and Dryer for a rental property that I was rehabbing.
I finished the unit about a month later and plugged in the brand new fridge and it didn't work. I understand these things happen. I called in to get a service tech out and one came three days later to say the motor was bad and it was unrepairable. The service P C Richard & Son in Paramus have been useless since that point.
They said I need a 'return authorization' from the manufacturer and I should hear back within 48 hours. That was 4 days ago with me calling everyday and getting the run around". So it has been well over a week without a fridge|. I called P C Richard & Son in Paramus who refuses to accept a return after 30 days with the original box (which the delivery people removed and threw away)/.

Why all HDMI cables are the same
Expensive HDMI cables are a rip-off and offer no difference in picture quality over cheap ones. So when a salesman tries to up-sell, politely tell him he's wrong and move on with the sale.

There's lots of money in cables. Your money.
Dozens of reputable and disreputable companies market HDMI cables, and many outright lie to consumers about the "advantages" of their product.
Worse, the profit potential of cables is so great, every retailer pushes high-end HDMI cables in the hopes of duping the buyer into spending tens, if not hundreds, of dollars more than necessary.
Here's the deal: expensive HDMI cables offer no difference in picture quality over cheap HDMI cables. CNET has mentioned this before, but here's the science of why.
The signal
The first thing to understand is what's transmitted over the cable in the first place. HDMI uses Transition Minimized Differential Signaling, or TMDS.
TMDS has two basic aspects. The first is that the 1s and 0s at the source (a Blu-ray player or HD cable/satellite box) are not exactly the 1s and 0s your TV uses to create a picture--at least, not in exactly the same order. Before sending the signal out via the HDMI output, the 1s and 0s are rearranged to minimize how many transitions there are. So instead of [protected], the transmission may look like [protected]. If you really like math, how it does this is cool, but it's not really important to understanding the concept as a whole.

Even though this conversion is weird, it makes it much more likely the data transmitted can be rebuilt on the other end (as in, at the display).
The second part of TMDS (the DS part) is the HDMI cable itself. Each HDMI cable is actually multiple, small copper wires. Two versions of the data are sent over different wires. One of these is out of phase with the "real" signal. The TV receives all the data, puts the out-of-phase signal back in phase, then compares it to the "real" signal. Any noise picked up along the way will now be out of phase, and as such it is effectively negated and ignored.
If you're an audio person, this is similar to how balanced (XLR) cables work.
TMDS works really well, allowing for short cables and fairly long cables to carry what is a pretty intense amount of data. It also means you can have inexpensive cables that work just as well as expensive ones.
More important to our discussion, it means that when something goes wrong, it goes really wrong. It's often said that with an HDMI signal, you either get everything and it's perfect, or it isn't perfect and you get nothing. In fact, I've said this. If you're getting an image that looks correct, and there are no dropouts in the audio or video, then you're getting everything that's being sent. If the cable is faulty, or it's a really long run with an under-built cable, most of the time you'll just get nothing. No picture at all.
