Over the last 2 years I have been remodeling my home. In only 2021 alone I've spent over $25, 000. Due to covid, home materials have been trickling in sporadically (understandably). However, I did purchase I farmhouse apron sink 7 months ago and only recently received last week my $6, 000 dollar cabinets (after 2 months of manufacturer problems - Hampton Bay).
Monday we looked at constructing the sink with the base but they don't match. Yesterday, in speaking with our local Home Depot Manager in Roswell, NM, he was rude and unhelpful even though we explained our situation - the sink base being discontinued. And he refused to except our farmhouse sink back in exchange even though it's still in box and shows in our "pro" account as a purchase. His response was to buy another non-matching base for another $800+ tax.
A new sink would cost less than $300 or the cost of another non - matching base could be purchased at Lowe's less than the price quoted by Home Depot (70 or 90 miles away). I'm currently a very dissatisfied customer and wish this situation resolved immediately.
