I went into the Dollar Tree in Florida NY a little while ago and grabbed a few items. I was talking to a friend I ran into while on line when a female employee approached me and told me I had to wear a cloth mask (I was wearing a plastic face shield). I told her I was not physically able to wear a cloth mask, only a face shield. She said I could not shop there. I said my face covering was in compliance, and she walked away and came back with a man who approached me, waving his arms in the air, saying it was their store policy, I had to wear a cloth mask, and that he didn't care if I had a health condition. I called 30 minutes later and asked for the manager. The woman who answered identified herself as the manager, Nicole Kimiecik. I asked her for the name of the man who approached me after her, she put me on "hold", then hung up on me. I am filing a formal complaint with the department of justice in regards to this blatant discrimination in their store today.
