Dollar Tree

On February 10th 2023 I went shopping at the Dollar tree in Watervliet New York. I was browsing through the aisles I came across stickers I was browsing through them one of the store employees came up to me screaming at me proceeding to yell in my face saying "stop making messes and telling me I need to clean up after myself I need to put them back on the wall it's not her fu* responsibility to clean up after me"

I continued asking her to stop screaming at me, I asked please lower your voice, she did not listen so I then got her manager involved. I politely approached the manager of the store explaining that her employee was acting very erratic aggressive and screaming at me, I explained I didn't make a mess at all. The manager was very unprofessional, rude, and proceeded to follow me throughout the entire store as I was shopping. She was watching my every move, I felt extremely uncomfortable. I told her I would like to contact corporate and file a complaint regarding her behavior for harassing me making me feel uncomfortable she laughed she called me names, said that she has been a manager at that Dollar tree for 10 years and "I'm a nobody with no pull." She then laughed and said she is not going anywhere (her exact words.)

As I was finishing my shopping feeling extremely uneasy, uncomfortable, rushing to get what I needed and get out of the store, the manager then told me that "I needed to stop touching everything with my dirty hands." The manager told me to leave the store (on grounds unknown) she told me she was going to beat my [censored] and labeled me "a junkie." I filed a police report regarding this incident and intend to continue to advocate and go to the news and headlines if this matter is not resolved. This is harassment and defamation of character, slander. I no longer feel safe or comfortable shopping somewhere I have always loved shopping at, this is truly a shame. I Have never in my 33 years been so humiliated, belittled, afraid, uncomfortable, and ashamed, I came home and cried Non-Stop.

I truly am praying that this matter is dealt with accordingly and handled immediately because it's unacceptable behavior from employees, a store manager at that. Under no circumstances should a manager behave so appalling & unprofessional. This experience was the most traumatic experience I've had since I was sexually assaulted. As I said I hope this matter is dealt with accordingly, I pray to God nobody has to ever go through that experience in that store or any store EVER under no circumstances. As a customer you should be able to shop freely, comfortably and made to feel welcome. Not called names, physically threatened, harassed, made fun of and ganged up on. The store employees behaved like a group of bullies. I was told to leave for no apparent reason they had no grounds to ask me to leave the store I did nothing wrong, I was told I'm just a junkie.

I truly hope as corporate members of the board this matter is addressed immediately and I am praying in good faith that manager no longer works for Dollar tree after this incident. Store employees reflect your corporation. Vicious evil mean spirited women who use her position to demean belittle put others down and harass valuable customers should NOT be employees. Period. She does not think she will have any repercussions for her actions, she talks to people however she pleases. If this matter is not addressed immediately I will have no choice but to contact the local news and go to the headlines newspapers because I will not stop until this is dealt with appropriately, I am sitting in my home crying completely destruct. I am contacting my attorney as well for discrimination and defamation of character, this is a violation of my human rights. I hope that NO ONE EVER has to go through the experience I just endured.
