I had three probems with the same associate. First, I had cat food that was advertised for a price, but not ringing up that price. The associate said the ad was no longer valid and didn't want to change the price. The ad was hanging in front of the cat food in the aisle. If it wasn't valid, it should not have been there for customers to see. Then, I had totes that were not ringing up what they should have. I had just bought the same items at a different location near by and had no problems. The associate here refused to change the price and said the items were not clearanced. If the items were one price at the other location, they should be the same price at all DG locations. I did not purchase them at this location because of that. My third issue was the price of a dish drying towel. There was a box of them in the clearance area. The box had a green dot on it. She tried telling me the item wasn't a dot item and refused to change the price. She looked at the item and said it didn't have a dot. THE ITEM ITSELF DIDNT HAVE DOT, BUT IF SHE WOULD HAVE WENT TO THE AREA WITH ME, I WOULD HAVE SHOWN HER THE BOX FOR THEM THAT HAD THE DOT. I went back to the other location for this item and didn't have any problems with it. The associate was rude, disrespectful, and argumentative. I was trying to be kind about the poor service, but had enough and walked out.
I disagree, but we're all entitled to our own opinions. I'm fine with being told no. That's not what my complaint is for. My complaint is her being disrespectful and rude with her tone and choice of words. Also, if there is a sign in front of the item and the sign matches the item, then the customer should get it for that price. It also doesn't make sense that I got those items for the clearance price at another DG located 10 minutes from that one. I simply and kindly told her never mind for those items and she kept saying comments with disrespect. Maybe she was having a bad day, but that's not an excuse for poor customer service. That's not an excuse to be rude to customers. You didn't hear the comments she made. You wasn't there, so you didn't witness the situation.
