Greetings,
My name is darla, I live in Forest Grove Oregon in the United States of America.
Less than one week ago, I was shopping at the Dollar tree in Forest Grove, I grabbed a drink then I planned on purchasing this drink around 8:30 p.m. after I pulled the money out of my pocket it was apparent to me that I was 0.02 short to make my purchase. I then spoke out loud "is there anybody here that can spare two cents?" There was a man in front of me and two people behind me, the man in front of me handed me a $0.25 coin, he said "I was going to just give this to you anyway you didn't need to ask", it was then that the employee with the title: Night Manager working at Forest Grove Dollar tree stated to me "You know it is considered panhandling to ask people for money while at the store this means if you are in the front or inside of the store" she said "this is now breaking the law and I'm going to have to ask you to leave and you are now trespassed from this store and I cannot sell anything to you" I asked her why I couldn't purchase the drink and if I could just take this as an educational warning, she said "because you broke the law and you're not allowed in this store anymore". I began to cry and I displayed an unfavorable behavior thus resulting an outburst of frustration, I told her she was a [censored], I did not really mean that. I don't even know her it just frustrated me I feel like because I am homeless and disabled that I have been discriminated against, it's more common than some people might realize that the homeless and disabled get discriminated against they might even consider me to have mental issues due to the struggles of our everyday life., I am asking that the corporate manager or CEO review this and offer me some insight on what I can do, had I known that it was against the law I would not have ever even asked for two pennies I feel that asking for two pennies is not that big of a crime. Why is it that by the way I'm dressed I'm to talk to as though I am a criminal when I'm not. Please reply to the attached information for my contact email and phone number.
I would like to thank you for your time and reading this complaint.
Sincere regards, Darla Bonn

Desired outcome: The desired outcome is that I sue Dollar tree for discriminating against me for my race Creed color and position, unless a settlement and apology is offered.
