Dollar General

Hello,

I am contacting you regarding the Jefferson Oregon location and pertaining to the policies surrounding money services and I would like to speak with someone about my recent experience at the store and address the ability to receive services at this location. From what was communicated to me 11/8/23 per a dollar general representative in Jefferson Oregon Dollar General, Western Union money services have not worked using the dollar general app for the last four years and I was unable to be assisted with this transaction which is conflicting with the dollar general public information about the store and its services available per any location. Individuals are directed to this location within the WU app as being a location that can perform the appropriate business and then when one does arrive at this location in Jefferson Oregon, they are told that it is not possible and or that they have never known how to perform this action in the last 4 years. I think this is a public problem if services available are falsely advertised and this store should be removed from the public for being a participating location if their knowledge and/or store technology is not able to actually assist an individual who may have traveled from a long distance. The store representative was not able to provide any information pertaining this aspect of the dollar general app or how to assist anyone in over 4 years with this problem. When I asked if there was someone else that I could speak to I was not provided with any phone number to contact anyone but was told I could return the next day to ask more questions but that they had never seen this problem resolved in the last four years. Their exact words were, "I have not seen the app work in over the last four years." I was unable to be assisted and was reassured that even if I returned that it was unlikely to find a resolution.
