I purchased a chainsaw blade with the help of a Lowe's employee.
It turned out to be the wrong one.
I waited quite a while (~ 6 months) and to be honest I lost the receipt.
Regardless of that, the chain was never used, but they refused to let me return it. I know they have policies, but in this case I feel they should have taken the item back.
There are Home Depot's in my area and I will take my business there from now on. I'm sure Lowe's couldn't care less about losing a customer anyway.
