I purchased 2 items at Lowe's in Middletown, Pa. today. Upon leaving I saw an elderly couple trying, with great difficulty to load a very heavy item onto their truck. I left the package on the ground as I had hurt my back. I attempted to call the store 11 times. I asked for customer service, then paint, twice I was sent to deliveries. The phone rang approximately 10 times then went to a busy signal, no message, and no transfer back to the automated system. As a last-ditch effort, I called the customer service main number where I finally hung after 12 minutes of being told that someone would be with me "momentarily". If I, as a long-time customer, get treated this poorly then I will cut up my credit card from Lowe's and will start doing all of my shopping at the nearby Home Depot. Absolutely pathetic way to treat a loyal customer or for that matter any customer!
