I understand employee shortages but the pharmacy drive thru at tarentum bridge rd today was the worst I have ever seen. 25 min wait for one car to be helped, one truck drove off after 20 min and I and several other cars waited additional 20 min waits each. When it was my turn I could see the problem. The lady behind the glass obviously was never properly trained and encountered problems trying to locat my prescriptions. First of all she was not able to locate my wife’s or my phone number in the system. When I complained I was told drive thru was a convince and I could have come into the store, not while I was hemmed in line.
It was very obvious me she needed help with the job. Probably under trained. Twenty mins before one car was processed, and 40 mins before I reached the front. Pretty obvious
People in line were not the problem but I was made to feel that it was my problem. I guess the others in line too, otherwise why would it take so very very long. I get several prescriptions there on a regular basis for me and my wife each. Normally drive thru here is never a problem, except to day sept 20th. Train them before they wait on customers. When I asked why so long I was told as if my phone numbers were not in the system caused delays and I guess for all others waiting in line. I don’t want the clerk to be fired just train her before she handle Prescription customers. It was so obvious she was having problems with all functions and using the system.
Desired outcome: Train employees to avoid very long waits in lines .
