On August 11, 2019 on Sunday night around 9:40p.m I drove to the restaurant Captain D's located 2238 Frayser Blvd. Memphis TN. 38127. there I notice two African Americans males (employees of Captain D's) were standing outside of the restaurant. One of the males appeared to be smoking a cigarette. 9;41pm. I ask him are they closed. He said they are closed. He said there store closes at 10:00pm. I ask what time on weekends? He said 10:00pm.
I said okay but then by now it's 9:45pm. As I drove around to leave I see a vehicle pulls up at the drive thru and order. The lady (Captain D's employee inside) answers on the order speaker box and accepts the customer in a light golden vehicle order. I felt that wasn't fair. I felt like the employees standing outside lied about closing hours. I look at my clock and saw that it's now 9:50pm. I drive back around and get out of my vehicle and go inside to place an order. I walked toward the Captain D's restaurant door and it was locked. The two men went inside and locked the door laughing. I looked behind them and also saw a young lady rushing to lock the other door on the other side of the building.
They all laugh but not in a way to let me see them laughing. So now I want to make a complaint. Seeing that Captain D's has video cameras. I'm confident that your district managers will view the video and see that the manager and employees there are closing the stores way too early. I didn't want any trouble. I calmly got back in my vehicle and drove around the drive thru; asking who's the district Manager for that Captain D's? The lady said she didn't know but the manager is there. I ask to speak to the manager. She (African American lady) didn't give me her name but she said she's the manager and how can she help me.
I told her how the two men employees lied to me and closed the doors way before 10:00pm, She seem surprised while behind the counter not far from the young lady accepting a second order from ANOTHER vehicle who has pulled up while I'm making a complaint. By now it's 10:00pm. The manager really was insensitive to my concerns and complaint. She kept saying YES SIR yes sir YES SIR before I could complete what I'm trying to explain. I told her that it's a shame how unprofessional employees behave. She looked on and didn't apologize. I droved off. I appreciate that you investigate that store and the character of the employees that represent Captain D's at that location. If you have any questions to ask me. My information will be listed below.
