8-14-24 7:00pm. I just went through the Captain D drive through in Hendersonville, TN on Main St.. I had a bad experience 2 weeks ago with receiving fish and chicken dinner that had been fried in very old grease. I could not eat it. Even the crust was a brown color with flakes of burn through it. I decided maybe it was a bad night so decided to try again tonight as I usually go every couple weeks. First, there is ALWAYS a long wait in drive through at any time of day. At average 20-30 min. Well tonight the same with 3 cars in front of me and 3 cars in the inside dining. The same girl is at the drive through window and she is very unfriendly. Tonight when she handed me my food I said thank you and smiled. She just handed me my food-no smile, no come back, thank you-absolutely not a word spoken and another lady had the headset on so she was not taking orders. I had not said a negative thing or anything other than placed my order whic was a fish and chicken dinner-spicy fish, loaded baked potato and fried okra with a side of the $1.99 shrimp and extra tarter. When I got home I had 2 pieces of regular fish (not spicy as was ordered) 2 pieces of chicken, 2 hush puppies and my fried okra was dumped in a small cardboard box all mixed together. My potatoe was in a separate box as usual and the extra shrimp was in a separate box. The shrimp had 5 pieces with 2 of them being old fried. There were no condiments like butter or sour cream for the potatoe. A very poor service and food for the charge of $21+ .I did receive 4 small containers of tarter sauce but that was all the condiments received. So so disappointed that again-2 times in a row poor service from the same girl at the window and disappointing food in that it was not complete, packaging very disappointing and incorrect order. I doubt I will ever go back to that location which is the only one in this city, until changes are made with employment and you can be treated like a human with just a little kindness. Employees are messing up the orders too so it all depends on them to get orders correct. The window lady obviously does not care. I do need to say there was a smaller lady working the indoor counter and dining area who seemed very nice to the patrons inside. She was also taking the orders from the drive through but the lady taking payment and handing the food out the window is horrible. She has been there for some time and has always been very sour. But this time was the worst.
Claimed loss: $21.00 plus gas if you want to count the wait in line for 20-30 minutes.
Desired outcome: Replace the lady at the window and possibly the cook who obviously does not care if they give you food that has been sitting for hours, incomplete or incorrect orders.
