Walgreens

To whom it may concern,

I scheduled an appt for 2 vaccines at Walgreens Store #19074 for September 14, 2023 at 6:30 PM. I arrived at approximately 6:10 PM to check in to receive my vaccines. Got checked in within 5 minutes and they told me to go sit down and someone would be with me shortly. At this time, there was no one at or waiting in line at the pharmacy and at least 3 if not 4 employees working in the pharmacy. I waited and waited and waited and after 35 minutes when no one had attended to me or even adressed me to tell me I would be taken care of soon, I decided to go ahead and get my prescription that was ready due to the fact the store or at least the pharmacy closed at 7 PM. At this point, there were 3 people in line in front of me at the pharmacy but the line wasnt moving at all. Moreover, I overheard one of the pharmacy staff saying "who's shots are these they need to be put up if they are not going to be used". Hence, I was going to tell them I hadnt been taken care of per my vaccines when I got and paid for my prescription. Well, at 10 min after 7 PM I was still waiting in line behind 2 people at the pharmacy and at this point I had already decided I wasn't comfortable receiving a vaccine from this staff as I had never in my life seen such incompetence and sheer chaos at any pharmacy much less a Walgreens in my entire life. Therefore, after being there over an hour and still not being served or much less even acknowledge, I decided to leave unvaccinated and without my prescription. All toll, counting the time there and back plus the hour+ in the store, I wasted nearly 2 hours of my Thursday night and I am unvaccinated and without prescription. I felt it my duty to notify someone who might actually care at Walgreens as this type of service is totally unprofessional and the sheer incompetence makes me worry about ever using the pharmacy again for prescription, vaccines, or any capacity. Quite honestly, it should concern you as well.
