Doctor ordered Benzonatate afternoon 4/29/24. Pharmacy ignored although it was listed as a prescription in my file online. I submitted an order. On 4/30/24 website stated insurance issue call WG. Staff claimed doctor didn’t submit script. Told to resubmit. Shorty comment change to insurance doesn’t cover. Finally called at 7PM to and then informed WG doesn’t fill scripts without insurance payment without consent. Never knew of that policy or told that in any interactions with pharmacy. Then told it would be ready in 35 minutes. Still waiting 90 minutes later.
Desired outcome: Walgreens state policy that that you must consent before they will consider filling a prescription.
