I visited the Dollar general #19045, 1305 front street Midland TX 79701 at approximately 5:30. I needed some oatmeal as I turned down the food isle I could hear the manager Jessica, yelling on the phone sounded like to her kids, I grabbed another food item and exited the isle, remembering I needed oatmeal I asked her where was the oatmeal and she pointed it out and I jokingly said I had to hurry up and get off this isle because I didn't want to get what her kids were getting and she rudely stated that didn't have anything to do with me. I continued my shopping and got some t shirts that were on sale 3 for $10 as I'm exiting the isle I noticed the yoga pants were 3 for $10 also. The clerk rang everything up and it came out to $37.89 I looked at my receipt when I exited the store and notice the yoga pants rang up $5 a piece. I went back inside and pointed it out to the clerk he finished helping another customer. I showed him where I got the pants from the read the sticker and he said that someone had put those stickers in the wrong place. I asked him would the manager honor that price because that wasn't my mistake. We walked back to the food isle to find Jessica still on the phone yelling at someone else. He showed her the sticker and asked her could a customer get this honored, she said what who trying to get something now, then he explained to her the mix-up. We all walked back to the front I told her I'd show her where the sticker was she followed and then started talking about her employees putting things in the wrong place and people trying to nickle and dime her. She yelled at me to get my things so that she could correct the price. Because she was so hostile I apologized to her and said I'm sorry you're having a bad day, she quickly stated that she wasn't having a bad day and I stated she seemed upset because her energy was high, she kept being verbally abusive trying to ensue an argument with me and I stated that I would just take my stuff and go home and make dinner because she was too hostile for me, she told me why are you taking your stuff I'm fixing to refund the money. I stayed there not saying another word to her, she tried to refund the card, but that didn't work so she did a cash refund. Jessica kept the money that she refunded on her side of the counter and then started asking me for $8.12 I told her I'm not giving her any more money than she started yelling about the cash that was still on her side of the counter she pushed it to my side I paid her and left. Jessica was very unprofessional and hostile when she didn't have to be, her whole demeanor was hostile and ghetto, I didn't do anything to this unprofessional ghetto hot mess. You shouldn't feel like you have to get into a yelling match or a physical fight in because the manger doesn't have the proper people skills needed to maintain the job.
Desired outcome: jessica should be reprimanded so that she doesn't treat another customer like this, Or maybe retrained in order to know represent your company the way it's supposed to be represented
