Good Afternoon,
My name is Jessica [removed]. Today, July 7, 2017 at 1:14pm, I visited your store located at 5300 Davis Blvd, North Richland Hills, TX 76180 to purchase a few items before heading home. There were some technical difficulties with the register and the card scanner. The cashier helping me was a young woman named Taylor; I don't have her last name. She was very patient and apologetic about the issue. She had to ask a man by the name of Donald for help. He was incredibly degrading to her. He scrutinized her in front of myself and other patrons, telling her she "messed up" only to find out shortly after that, he was having the same issues with the register as she was having. I asked Donald if he was manager and to my surprise he IS! I was very polite but did tell him that as a manager he should not treat his employees as anything but professionals in front of customers and that he was very unkind to Taylor seeing as it was clearly not a mess up on her part but a technical issue.
I have been a manager, business owner, the lowest paid woman on the job, and during professional development we are always taught professionalism when engaging with other employees, whether you are the owner or the lowest paid man on the team.
If I were an employee I certainly would not want to work under a man like Donald. It's hard enough to a be woman in the work force but then to be degraded like that... completely unacceptable.
You are welcome to contact me with any questions.
Regards,

I love my mini wal-mart called (Dollar General) because of all the good things that happen there. I have filled out tons of surveys and any complaints I had, which always hoped was to help make things better or safer. I have never heard one word from My Store The Dollar General. I shop at Dollar Generals in several locations within a hundred miles or so several times per week. If I helped in some small way thank you JESUS, if I didn't make a difference I will still smile and be friendly so the DG employees will say you make my day. I tell people all the time if you are not happy at what you are doing you need to find something else to do. DOLLAR GENERAL keep doing what you are doing and make me proud, MY STORES.
Dear Jessica,
I have read your review and because of your review Taylor has been terminated. I hope that you can live with yourself knowing that your actions cost someone their job.
sincerely Donald.
