Walmart - Refusal to cash money order purchased at local store

On January 11, 2022, I purchased two money orders from the Walmart store #01098, in Port Lavaca, TX. At the time of purchase, I was assured there would be no problem cashing them within one year. On September 9, 2022, I brought them to the store, where they were declined. I asked to speak to the manager, and was told two conflicting things: he was on vacation, and he was at another store, after which he would be visiting two more stores. Because it is a 30 mile drive from where I live, I asked them to call him and allow me to speak with him. This request, also, was refused. I informed them that Walmart could not keep my money, which amounts to $2000. I was told there's nothing they could do. I have all the documents necessary to prove that I purchased these money orders: the store receipt, and the money orders including the stubs. This is not a Moneygram problem, it is a Walmart problem. There is absolutely no reason for Walmart not to honor them. I have called the customer service line and been hung up on two times. I have called the corporate headquarters number, and have been transferred/disconnected. Walmart has made every effort to limit accessibility/resolution. I've been in no way combative and I've been treated in an undignified manner by all parties I've come into contact with, which goes beyond unacceptable. At 60 years old, I've been a Walmart customer for longer than many others have been alive. This simply must matter to you. If it doesn't, Walmart is no longer a viable or sustainable business. FYI, I went to the store with the intention of purchasing a printer, which I did not, since they refused to give me my money. Please consider the reality that anything you sell can be purchased elsewhere, and address this accordingly. The box below will not allow me to enter my desired outcome, which is that these money orders be cashed.
