My husband and I were in line today and a girl didnt have a credit card on her so my husband I offered to pay but she declined. And left said she would be right back. So the cashier asked the manager how to void the item and the manager said oh just wait awhile she will be back meantime there was at least 15 people waiting! In line, I said we will pay for that item a lint rolller so we could get our order checked out. The manager said she was ahead of us in line I said I relize that but shes not here and we needed to checkout! And she just ignored us and the rest of the line.
This is not good costumer service!
Thank you,

Good management seems to be the missing link. I visited my local store to pickup goodies for my classroom treasure box that I use as behavior management incentives. I waited in line for over 20 minutes while the cashier worked her tail off greeting every customer as they walked through the door while ringing up a long line of customers .
Meanwhile, there were three employees within view of registers who could clearly see the line backing up to the back of the store. One of the employees addressed the manager who kept looking at his cellphone attempting to seem busy and important. The customer asked if he could open another register, he retorted, "I'm on the phone with another manager." The customers were all shaking their heads and one said, "your customers and sales are your priority". He ignored the statement and instead, sarcastically APPLAUDED and clapped back, "thank you, Karen"..."God, what a Karen".
He had no idea how to problem solve a printer malfunction either and gave up assisting his clerk to make another phone call. I ended up helping Amanda, the clerk and solved the printer problem by simply plugging it back into the power source.
I didn't catch the manager's name, but since he had no problem discribing a customer as a "Karen", I'll describe him like this...he was about 5'4", black hair, latino, 20-something, grungy t-shirt wearing hipster, who wears a beanie in 85 degree heat at the 8111 Steilacoom Blvd. Lakewood, WA 98498 store.
Anyone of my students has better manners, more respect for others, and would be a better manager than the guy you have at the Steilacoom blvd store. Teach your managers to value their customers instead of judging them and hurling insults. If it weren't for Amanda (the clerk) I would have dumped my purchase right then and there and walked out the door. Amanda is an over looked and undervalued employee. Give her a promotion and put the hipster back in training and on register to learn how to serve customers. If he remains the manager, I will buy my classroom goodies elsewhere and spread the word that to my fellow teachers that the hipster, beanie wearing man-child that manages the Lakewood store distrespects and degrades women. Please for the sake of your store, give Amanda a promotion!
