07 June 2022 I won a lawsuit against Dollar Tree. Case Manitowoc County #2022SC000419
The local store says it is a Corporate matter, and they can not/will not pay. Corporate refuses to respond: I have called numerous times trying to resolve this issue, and they place me on hold for literally hours, then hang up
Desired outcome: I would like them to pay me the award amount, and stop playing games
Dollar Tree - Product not received; lies and excuses.
Placed an online order 02 May
Received an email stating item was available for pick up in store 11 May.
Called store and requested item be ready to be picked up, as I am disabled, and getting to store and around inside is problematic; was told this would not be a problem.
Arrived at store aprox. 11 am. Was told that truck was late, and I would have to wait while they went through items.
Waited about an hour, and was informed that they "did not have time to look for item" and I would have to return in the afternoon. Not happy, but agreed.
Returned to store at 4pm. Was told to wait, as they were not done going through items. Waited one hour , and was told that they did not have the item.
I got very upset, and , long story short, after a total of one hour and fifty-seven minutes, the store manager called the district manager, whom informed me that " this is another Corporate f*ck up; you will have to call them tomorrow"
I demanded a refund, and was told that was not possible, and that Corporate would call me at 8 am the following day, 12 May.
When I received no call 8:45 , I called the corporate number. Kept on hold and transferred to various departments for over thirty-seven minutes.
Informed I would be given a refund.
I told them I expected to be compensated for me time and travel costs for the second trip, as I had been lied to, sworn at, threatened with police ( whom were called, and said that there was nothing they could do, as I had not done anything wrong ).
Was told that "that isn't going to happen"
Desired outcome: I want my product, and to be compensated for my time and expenses.
Dollar Tree - Check out personnel
Just yesterday I stopped at the Manitowoc Dollar Tree store. As always the check out person was waring his mask but had his noise out. Time after time I see at least one like this some days more than one. I told (in a polite way) that it doesn't help to not have his noise uncovered. He said he can't breath - my reply was that he can breath. He went on to tell me I "was a liar" & "Slammed" my change in my hand while mumbling something that was un hearable but in a rude way. I am now boycotting this store & a bunch of my friends are doing the same as is my family.
I'm sure you can find better cashiers than those you now have.
