In the week of July 25th, 2022, we applied for a 2014 BMW at Vaden Nissan of Statesboro
In the week of July 25th, 2022, we applied for a 2014 BMW at Vaden Nissan of Statesboro. After some back and forth, they informed us that the car we initially wanted was unavailable. However, they showed us another BMW that was available at a different dealership of theirs. We received an email that said, "Congratulations, you have been approved on..." The email didn't mention "pre-approved" or any conditions, it simply stated that we had been approved. We had completed a full application for the car. The manager, Amber, didn't seem concerned about this and casually mentioned, "Yeah, I wish they would stop sending that email." This caused us to decline a deal at another dealership. Sending an email stating that you are approved without any stipulations violates Georgia law. The Vaden Auto Group's actions in sending the email and the manager's admission of its deceptive nature are clear violations of the consumer protection act.
On 07/03, I made a mistake and bought a car without carefully reviewing the documents
On 07/03, I made a mistake and bought a car without carefully reviewing the documents. I just listened to the finance person. About a week and a half later, I realized that they didn't include the car I'm still making payments on in the contract. They also added things I didn't request, like an extended warranty and weather mats. I went to the dealership and called them, but they didn't do anything about it.
On 07/30, my brother and I met with the sales manager, and he assured us that he would take care of the issue. He said he would remove the things I didn't ask for and add the car to the contract. He promised it would be done the next day. However, it didn't happen, and he said it would be done on Monday, 08/01. I went there on Monday, but he still hadn't done it. He shook my hand and asked for a few more days, promising that he would have a solution.
To make a long story short, he kept giving me deadlines and coming up with excuses for why he couldn't fulfill his promise. They made a lot of money from this transaction, and they don't want to lose it. Even though I signed a contract, he made a promise after the contract was signed, and he should be held accountable for it. I acknowledge my own responsibility in this mess.
I took my car to Vaden Nissan of Statesboro's service center about a month ago because I was having issues with the 4-wheel drive
I took my car to Vaden Nissan of Statesboro's service center about a month ago because I was having issues with the 4-wheel drive. They informed me that the problem was with the transfer case and assured me that they would have it fixed by the following Friday. However, after waiting for a week and a half without any updates, I decided to go to the dealership myself since the promised time had already passed by four days. The manager I spoke to was extremely rude and simply stated that there was nothing they could do if the parts didn't arrive on time. I expressed my disappointment and mentioned that a courtesy call to keep me informed would have been appreciated, especially since I had to rent a car while waiting for mine to be fixed. Frustrated, I left the dealership. It took them a total of three weeks to finally have my car ready. I picked it up two days later, only to realize that the same issue I brought it in for still persisted. I immediately called them and brought the car back. To my surprise, they now wanted to charge me an additional $4000 for a problem that I had already paid $6000 to fix. The new issue was located exactly where they claimed to have repaired the axle for the 4-wheel drive. It is clear to me that these people are engaging in fraudulent practices and taking advantage of women.

On May 18, 2022, I traded in a vehicle at this place and bought a 2017 Nissan Maxima
On May 18, 2022, I traded in a vehicle at this place and bought a 2017 Nissan Maxima. I got financed through Ally Financial. After all the paperwork was done and my son and I were ready to drive the car off the lot, I noticed that the front bumper was not secure on the driver and passenger side. I pointed this out to the salesman and they said it probably happened during transport. They said they would fix it and let me know when to bring it back. I have taken it back at least 3 times now. The first time, they kept it for about 3 weeks to a month and then said they had to send it to an outside body shop because Vaden doesn't do that kind of work. After the car was sent to the body shop twice and they gave me 3 loaner cars, they decided that the car needed a new front bumper, but Vaden Nissan wouldn't replace it. So, I told Manager that I was told to take the car and that Vaden would fix it. He said he tried to make that happen, but they wouldn't replace the bumper. I mentioned that I'm paying over $30,000 for this car and it was supposed to be inspected before the sale. I've made 4 payments on this car and it still isn't fixed. The undercarriage was also hanging, but that was fixed. I know the contract is signed and the repairs were only mentioned verbally, but is there anything I can do about this situation?
I bought a 2013 Nissan Altima back in 2013
I bought a 2013 Nissan Altima back in 2013. In the past 5 years or so, my headlights have gotten dimmer. I can't see five feet in front of me when driving that car at night. If I have plans at night, I have to borrow someone else's car so I can see. One time I was driving at night with a friend in the car and she looked at me and said, "you don't have your lights on!" But I did. That's how useless they are, I might as well not have them at all. I recently received a letter in the mail about a class action settlement (***, et al. v. Nissan North America, Inc.) involving headlamps on [protected] Nissan Altima Vehicles. The settlement states that it includes all United States residents who are current or former owners or lessees of [protected] Nissan Altimas with halogen headlamps. I am a current owner, so I called Statesboro Nissan to make an appointment to get the headlights replaced. They told me I would have to do an inspection to determine if I "needed" the replacements. Even though I live an hour away from the Nissan dealership, I agreed because I was certain they wouldn't pass the inspection. I had my appointment yesterday and the service representative told me they passed, and mine was apparently the first Altima to pass the inspection. When I told her I can't even drive the car at night because the lights are so bad, she just shrugged. My car is out of warranty, but the settlement states that if you are outside of your warranty, you can still receive free headlight replacements from an Authorized Nissan Dealer. However, you have to submit a form and bring the vehicle to Nissan within six months. I did both of those things. Nowhere in the settlement does it say they get to inspect the lights and then decide if they need to be replaced. No. All the lights need to be replaced.
