Honda of Lake City I bought a vehicle in December

I bought a vehicle in December . They took much longer than the contract states to get my permanent tag to me. Before I had negative interactions with this dealership, I referred someone here. I was told (I have a screenshot) that I would be getting a referral check. That was in January, it is now April 30th and they will not respond to me and refuse to send it. I will be taking further steps if they refuse to cooperate.

Honda of Lake City I went to Honda of Lake City to get my car's airbag recall fixed

I went to Honda of Lake City to get my car's airbag recall fixed. This was my second appointment, and I had informed them beforehand that I would need a loaner car while they worked on mine. However, they did not provide me with one. I was a bit frustrated, but I tried to stay calm. Then, the lane manager started yelling at me and even threatened to call his boss, who happens to be a sheriff's officer, to handle the situation. I just wanted an explanation as to why I couldn't get a loaner vehicle.

Honda of Lake City [protected] I talked to the dealership 'bout a truck online

[protected] I talked to the dealership 'bout a truck online. So we made a deal on the Truck and explained where we lived and they got the info that they needed before we made the trip. So he called us back and said it was done, so we drove 2 hrs up, signed some papers and then looked at the vehicle he had detailed and fueled up. We then started moving the stuff over into the Truck when another guy came out and said they made a mistake and told us it was supposed to be another Truck. When we looked at the paperwork there were Two different Vin #s, so I will send an email with the Text and papers.

Honda of Lake City I bought a car from Honda of Lake City on July 21, 2022

I bought a car from Honda of Lake City on July 21, 2022. During the test drive, I noticed some hesitation in the gear shifting, but the salesperson assured me it was normal. He said it was just the vehicle trying to maintain speed. However, the next day, on July 22, 2022, the check engine light came on and the car started jerking at times. It continued to hesitate while driving and changing gears (RPM). I went back to the dealership on July 23, 2022, and spoke to a salesperson named ***. He told me there was nothing he could do because the deal was already done. I even asked if I could trade the car for another one, but he said I couldn't because of equity and registration issues. The service department checked the car and the paperwork mentioned a transmission problem. I feel it's unfair that I'm experiencing transmission issues less than 24 hours after buying the car. I know I purchased warranties, but it's disappointing that the dealership doesn't seem to care about this. I spoke to *** and *** on July 25, 2022, but we couldn't find a resolution. *** also told me it was the bank's problem, but when I contacted the bank, they said I should talk to the dealership since I just bought the car. I asked about voluntarily returning the car or canceling the transaction, but *** said I had to deal with the bank. I also asked what would happen if I brought the car back to the dealership and left it there, and he said it would be considered a voluntary repossession. On August 3, 2022, the bank confirmed that the dealership has the authority to cancel the loan. I haven't driven the car since I bought it, just one day. I sent an email to the GM ***, but haven't received a reply.

The Honda dealer in Lake City, Florida, provides repair services with a dedicated team. They charged me $1843.86 for minor work. They justified the cost with a vague explanation. The staff assured me of their quality service, and despite the high price, I hoped the issue was resolved. Yet, the engine light reappeared immediately after leaving the dealership. Due to work commitments, I could only return the following day. Upon revisiting, it was clear they had ignored my initial report of a broken timing belt, a replaced camshaft, and specific issues I had addressed myself. They re-examined areas I had already serviced, claiming to identify the problem without transparency. They ambiguously referred to parts and backtracked on their solution, opting to clean rather than replace components. They performed unnecessary replacements and double-charged for labor. Despite assurances of valve adjustments during the valve cover and gasket replacement, there was no evidence of such service, with over $800 charged. Their service felt like a betrayal, treating me unfairly. Bringing a mechanic as a witness did not help; they dismissed him quickly and suppressed any objections I had. A manager's insensitive remark only added to the frustration. Overall, their service felt deceitful and disrespectful.
