Had a really bad experience at Andy Mohr Buick GMC
Had a really bad experience at Andy Mohr Buick GMC. They went and sold our truck even though they said they were holding it for us. They ran our credit all over the place, which could have messed up our credit score that was in the high 700s. The sales guys told us they were protecting us, but turns out they were just finishing up the financing and now the truck is gone. It's just terrible, terrible, terrible. So be careful if you're thinking of buying from them.
I had a deal that started online, but then I was convinced to come to the dealership
I had a deal that started online, but then I was convinced to come to the dealership. I thought everything was settled, but I had to wait for a few days due to bad weather, which I understood. Today was supposed to be the day to finalize the deal, but I didn't receive any calls or texts. Finally, I got a call saying that the car had been sold to someone else. I'm not sure how to feel about it or if it's even legal. I suppose it's because of my poor credit rating...
They had a deal sayin' they'd give us $2k for our trade-in if it could drive there and had a clean title
They had a deal sayin' they'd give us $2k for our trade-in if it could drive there and had a clean title. We called 'em up to let 'em know we were comin' and they said they'd give us a certain price for the car and the $2k for the trade-in. But when we got there (after drivin' an hour in the trade-in), they jacked up the price of the car by $200 and wouldn't stick to their word. Seems like they hiked up the price on their website just 'cause they knew we were comin' in. Sneaky business tactics. Ain't nobody should buy a car from here.
I was told on live chat that I was eligible for a discount from a GM retiree program on a Denali Acadia
I was told on live chat that I was eligible for a discount from a GM retiree program on a Denali Acadia. They set me up with a salesman to meet. After meeting the salesman and test driving, we were given a price quote that didn't match their internet price. They also said I couldn't get the additional discount and ignored the person I spoke to. It was embarrassing for me. They didn't ask about a down payment or if I wanted an extended warranty. I wasn't impressed by Andy Mohr and I'm considering buying a foreign vehicle instead.
We told the salesman many times that we wouldn't make a down payment, just trade in
We told the salesman many times that we wouldn't make a down payment, just trade in. But after signing everything and reaching the end, the guy asked how we were paying 2k. I thought he was joking, but he wasn't. Be careful dealing with untrained salesmen at this place. Just 9 days after getting the car, it smells like it's on fire and the engine light comes on. Only 300 miles in 9 days. Be very careful with the cars you buy here. Lastly, I left some reviews and comments on Facebook and they blocked me from commenting or liking anything on the page. That's proof that *** runs an unfair business. I hope *** knows about Eric's business dealings.
We got a 2017 *** Versa from them in April
We got a 2017 *** Versa from them in April . The guy who sold it to us said nothin' was wrong 'cept for the mileage. But now, it's been in the shop three times and they still ain't fixed the problem. I wouldn't recommend buyin' a car from them. We even brought our own financin', but they still went ahead and ran it through seven other financiers. Can you believe that? It's just plain ridiculous. Thank goodness we got the warranty package 'cause otherwise, we would've been out a few thousand bucks on top of the $8000 we still gotta pay. I went ahead and filed a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com. Hopefully, somethin' can be done 'cause here in Indiana, they gotta tell ya what's wrong with the car when they sell it. But they never did.
I would never trust this dealership
I would never trust this dealership. If I could give them zero stars, I would! My parents recently purchased a used car from this lot in Fishers. It's absolutely terrible! It seems like they took advantage of my parents because they saw them coming from a mile away. We've only had the car for a few weeks and every single light is on. We've already had to spend $1000 on parts, and the transmission is also jerking. I wish we had been there with my parents because they would have never bought this vehicle. Unfortunately, we didn't know they were going that day. This car is worse than a lemon. Even after just a few weeks of having it (it still has temporary tags until next month), we've spent $1000 on parts and we're being told that the transmission is bad, along with everything else that's wrong with it. It's disgusting to me that a dealership would even sell a vehicle like this.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM - I bought a 20118 Buick Encore Essence on Saturday 4/25
DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM - I bought a 20118 Buick Encore Essence on Saturday 4/25. I asked why the replaced battery only after 18 months - still waiting for answer. I asked why they had to repair the tire - still waiting for answer. While signing finance papers - they cracked my windshield - a 5 inch they said they would offer me $180 - LOL you know they were trying to lowball me. The internet says replacement goes between $315 and $485. At no time did they say "we are sorry about this" only said wee had an accident with your car. Had to get in writing that they would replace windshield. On Tuesday April 28th, i had to email them to see what was going on - sales person offered me the $180 again - I SAID NO AGAIN, and the he stated that he would have to talk to his boss on how to proceed. I told them i wanted the same factory glass to be used as the replacement, and they stated they would order the part and it would be done. I live in Cincinnati, it had to be replaced in Indianapolis, so I took a half day off of work on May 1st to get the new windshield. I arrive at *** to have the glass replaced. I find out that ANDY Morh - no one ordered the original part - the front desk manager got a comparable/compatible (looks and feels cheaper) windshield. His bill to the dealership was $270 as a preferred customer and cheaper windshield - LOL more than the $180 offer they tried. Have they done a followup with me? NO. Have they offered me anything for Gas, Milage, Time, 1/2 day of missed work - NO. I wonder what happened to the windshield they ordered? Still waiting for battery and tire response AND STILL NO ONE HAS APOLOGIZED OR SAID WE ARE SORRY. Terrible customer service - 1 STAR RATING. WHEN PEOPLE TALK ABOUT USED CAR SALESMEN OR BAD DEALERSHIP ANDY MORH SHOULD STAND UP AND SAY - THAT'S US AND TAKE A BOW.
I hesitated writing this review, but after three terrible experiences at Andy Mohr Buick GMC over the course of a year, I feel it's time to
I hesitated writing this review, but after three terrible experiences at Andy Mohr Buick GMC over the course of a year, I feel it's time to share my thoughts. The buying experience was just plain awful. The salesman and manager were rude, lied multiple times, and disrespected my pregnant wife. Despite our better judgment, we ended up buying the car here because it was the exact one we wanted. The finance person we dealt with was nice and helpful. The manager agreed to fix one thing if we bought it, and we got it in writing. However, we had to wait weeks for them to finally fix it after we purchased the car. To make matters worse, the car broke down a few days later and had to be towed in. They eventually fixed the issue. A few months later, something minor went wrong with the car again. When we brought it in, they pulled up the wrong car and couldn't find our keys. I waited for over 30 minutes until the service person finally located our car. To top it off, the car smelled like cigarette smoke, and so did he. I let it go, but I shouldn't have. Just yesterday, we received a letter in the mail claiming they desperately needed our car type and were willing to pay between $1,000 and $4,000 over NADA trade-in value. I thought it seemed genuine and decided to give it a shot. I showed up and talked to the guy they flew in, who promised us a great deal. I waited for over an hour, only to be offered $5,000 UNDER NADA "average" trade-in price. I couldn't help but laugh, and the salesman admitted that was the best he could do. I spoke to the promo guy, but he didn't even defend it. In short, this place is terrible. Do yourself a favor and drive far away or go anywhere else to buy a car. I gave them multiple chances, but don't waste your time here. Spread the word, because I certainly will.
Andy Mohr Buick GMC is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with
Andy Mohr Buick GMC is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I've bought more than 20 new cars in my life, and I've never come across a company as dishonest as this one. I spent over 2 months searching for a low mileage, late model Buick Lacrosse for my wife. Finally, I found what I was looking for, but it was during the Covid shutdown in April . I was unsure about buying a car from a dealership 100 miles away in Indiana (I live in western Ohio), but since it was a big Buick dealership, I thought they would be trustworthy. The car was listed on their website for $19,400, and they claimed to offer "free" delivery within 150 miles of the dealership (I live 110 miles away). They refused to lower the price, so I agreed to purchase the car for $19,400. I had them send the purchase order through my bank, and the bank would provide them with a check for the total amount, including tax and title fees. Then, they informed me that there was an additional $300 charge for a security system. It was a ridiculous joke—they simply etched the serial number on the front and back windows, something I could have done myself for about $25. They insisted that I couldn't buy the car without this security feature, so reluctantly, I agreed to pay for this worthless $300 option. When I provided my address for the "free" delivery, they suddenly said they couldn't deliver the car for that price—their advertised price! Despite all these warning signs, I agreed to drive to Fishers, Indiana to pick up the car. I brought a check from my bank for the total price of the vehicle, including all sales taxes and fees. I signed the paperwork, got the car, and left. A few weeks later, I received the title in the mail, and it was an Indiana title. I had paid a $200 title fee and should have received an Ohio title. Additionally, the title was supposed to go to the bank because there was a loan on the car. I took the title to the bank so they could correct it, and the bank had to obtain an Ohio title. However, Andy Mohr Buick had underpaid the bank by about $350 for the sales tax, so I had to pay that amount as well in order to get an Ohio title. I called them, and during our second conversation, they basically said, "Tough luck, that's your problem, not ours," and then they refused to take any more calls. Oh, and the extra money they took for taxes, they added to the price of the car—who pays more than the asking price for a car that's been sitting on the dealer's lot for 2 months? To sum it up: 1. Free delivery? No, because you live too far—I live much closer than the 150-mile free delivery area they advertise. 2. $300 security option? If it was optional, I shouldn't have had to buy it if I didn't want it. 3. $200 paperwork fee? I had to handle my own title and paperwork. 4. They added money to the price of the vehicle after sending the purchase agreement to the bank, causing me to pay an additional $350 in sales tax. This is the worst dealership—NEVER buy from Andy Mohr Buick GMC in Fishers, Indiana.
I had a 5:00pm appointment to test drive the 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL today
I had a 5:00pm appointment to test drive the 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL today. They even sent me a text to confirm the appointment. I got there a few minutes late, but I still met with the salesperson. They told me to have a seat and I waited for about 2-5 minutes before they said the car was already being driven by someone else for a test drive. They asked if I could wait, so I ended up waiting for about 30 minutes. I was pretty upset about having to wait so long, so I used my phone to calm myself down. They asked me twice if I wanted to look at a more expensive 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL, but I said no both times. The person who was test driving the car had already driven another car before mine. The salesperson tried to hurry things along by talking to someone about the keys and checking on the car. I eventually said I would wait 10 more minutes because it was 5:35pm. They gave me a business card and talked about something I didn't really understand. I told them that if I had to reschedule, it would have to be next week. The test driver finally came back and the salesperson asked if I could wait 5 more minutes because they were doing paperwork. I said okay since it was still within the 10-minute limit and they hurried off. Suddenly, there was a blackout in the building. I don't know why I'm mentioning this, but there it is. It didn't really matter to me since I agreed to wait 5 more minutes and there were only 2 minutes left. I got up at 5:45pm and talked to another worker at 5:46pm to let them know I was leaving. The worker offered to help me until the salesperson came back from a delivery, but I didn't see how that would make up for my wasted time or the fact that they weren't there within the 5 minutes. They asked if we had each other's contact information. I had their business card and assumed they had mine since I was directed to that salesperson. I said I would reschedule for next week, but I wasn't really sure about it. Deep down, I knew the 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL wouldn't be sold because it wasn't the test driver's first choice. And guess what? I got a phone call saying it wasn't sold and they asked when I wanted to come in next week for a test drive. I said I would check my calendar and get back to them next week. At this point, I'm disappointed because I could have used my time better. A phone call or text letting me know that the 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL was already being test driven and asking if I could come at a different time would have been fine. They told me appointments were important because of COVID-19, so I'm wondering why my 5:00pm appointment for the 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL wasn't a priority over someone else who had already test driven a car and wanted to test drive mine when it should have been prepared for my appointment. Even if they let them test drive it, they should have given them a time limit because there was another potential buyer who wanted to test drive it too. That's what I was, a potential buyer looking for this specific 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL, and now I might not buy it because my time was wasted. I feel like this experience could have been a lot better.

I bought a used car on [protected] from another state
I bought a used car on [protected] from another state. They took *** in sales tax when I bought it. But when I tried to register the car, the *** didn't have any info about the taxes, even though I had a receipt. So, I had to pay the taxes again to register it. I've tried contacting the dealer many times, but they always say they'll check and then I never hear back. When I call to follow up, they ignore me or put me on hold and then hang up.
In Mid June we got a GMC and bought the Tire and Wheel protection
In Mid June we got a GMC and bought the Tire and Wheel protection. We always get it for all our cars. When we sell or trade our car, we always get some money back for the Tire and Wheel protection. We decided to sell this car after only 2 months, so I called the Finance manager at *** and he said we can't get a refund. This never happened before. It's not even written in the Vehicle Buyers Order that I attached. I paid more than $1000 for this.
I bought a new 2021 GMC Yukon SLT and it's been shaking and vibrating since day one
I bought a new 2021 GMC Yukon SLT and it's been shaking and vibrating since day one. I took it to the service department three times, but they couldn't fix anything. The boss there is really rude and talks down to me. He asked me on the phone, "What do you want me to do about it?" The shaking could be dangerous. I offered to let him or a manager ride with me to see the problem, but they said no. They changed two tires, claiming they were bad, but that didn't help at all. I'm writing this complaint to strengthen my case for a lemon law lawsuit. Everything inside the car shakes, and everyone who rides with me complains about it. This is my only vehicle, and I use it to take my 3-year-old everywhere. I don't feel safe or comfortable driving it until the shaking is fixed. I'm worried it might be causing more problems with my car.

An employee at Andy Mohr Buick GMC made a mistake with my lease documents in June
An employee at Andy Mohr Buick GMC made a mistake with my lease documents in June . They accidentally increased the purchase price by $1100. Unfortunately, they also forged my signature on the new documents and sent them to GM Financial. I didn't realize the amounts were different until my lease ended in August . In February , I compared the signatures on my copy and the lease agreement from GM Financial. I reported the issue to the appropriate authorities after GM Financial didn't believe me or bother to check the signature against my driver's license. I refused to pay the purchase price because of the forgery. As a result, GM Financial wrote off $20k as bad debt, which negatively impacted my credit score of around 760. The representation from Andy Mohr Buick GMC, through the Attorney General's mediation, accused me of lying to avoid my financial responsibility. With my credit score, I have always been responsible with my finances. I don't just want an apology; I want to be compensated. If that doesn't happen, I at least want other people who lease or buy cars to be aware that Andy Mohr Buick GMC (and possibly all dealerships) cannot be trusted. Forgery is a serious matter. In the end, I had to pay an extra $1300 compared to the contract I originally signed, and Andy Mohr Buick GMC faced no consequences.
We bought a 2018 Ram from a Buick dealership last December
We bought a 2018 Ram from a Buick dealership last December. The price was fair. It includes a large radio, seats six, a tonneau cover, and 4WD, which were key features for us. It was also meant to have heated seats, a steering wheel, a power outlet, and airbags. The radio malfunctioned, so we scheduled a service, backed by a $3000 warranty. However, they canceled, citing no weekend electrical service. Told that the warranty was valid elsewhere, we went to another shop. After leaving the truck, the technician reported incorrect front seats, lacking heating and proper airbag wiring. We were informed the truck was unsafe and shouldn't have been sold. The dealership agreed to tow and inspect it but then refused repairs. They suggested a trade-in to resolve the issue. We found another truck, but the trade-in value they offered was unacceptable, and they proposed a significant monthly payment increase. Despite our frustration and a heated departure, we're now facing a financial loss and increased costs.
I'm currently in the market for a used truck, and I came across a 2010 Ram 2500 pick up advertised by this dealership for $18,900 on Auto Trader
I'm currently in the market for a used truck, and I came across a 2010 Ram 2500 pick up advertised by this dealership for $18,900 on Auto Trader. On 08/10, I went to the dealership to take a look. I had to wait for two hours for the truck's service to finish since it was recently traded in. After that, I test drove the vehicle and sat down to purchase it.
They ran my credit, and the salesperson informed me that they could finance me, but I would need to put down $8700, which was beyond my budget. So, I declined the offer and decided to try and secure my own financing. I drove an hour and a half back home, but then they called me saying that the finance manager had "called in a favor" and they could get the deal done if I turned right back around and returned to the dealership immediately.
Unfortunately, I couldn't do that because my household only has one vehicle, and I had to pick up my significant other from work. I offered to place a deposit on the truck to secure it until I could return in the next couple of days. I also suggested that they send the paperwork to another dealership in Bloomington, which is owned by the same company, but they refused to work with me in any way.
Now, let's go back to before the test drive and the two-hour wait for the vehicle to be prepared. I personally asked the used car sales manager, Pete, if the truck could be financed considering its age and mileage. He assured me that it could be financed, but only two banks that he knew of would lend on the truck I was interested in. I specifically told Pete that if the vehicle didn't meet the financing criteria due to its year and mileage, I didn't want any inquiries on my credit report. He said it shouldn't be a problem as long as my situation was good.
However, when I checked my credit karma later, I noticed that there were nine new hard inquiries. Why were there nine inquiries when Pete told me that only two banks could lend on it? Yesterday, the salesperson I spoke to suggested that I call and talk to Eric, the general manager of the dealership. Unfortunately, Eric was also unhelpful and didn't offer any flexibility for the situation at hand.
I also contacted one of the banks where I already have a loan (***), and they approved me for a term and payment that I'm comfortable with. However, I believe Pete didn't disclose this information to me for some reason.
To make matters worse, I checked the ad later in the afternoon and noticed that they had raised the price by $2000 from the previous day. I find these business practices to be less than desirable. The staff at this dealership doesn't seem to care about anyone's personal finances or well-being, and they are unwilling to be flexible or accommodating. I believe they intentionally withheld my approval to discourage me so they could raise the price of the vehicle and sell it to someone else at a higher price.
I bought a used 2013 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership in May
I bought a used 2013 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership in May. When looking at the vehicle Carfax report, I noticed that there was a passenger airbag under recall. I asked the salesman more than once if it had been fixed and he assured me that they fixed it. When I brought the vehicle home, I noticed it was leaking oil. I immediately brought it back to the dealership and asked them to fix it. They admitted that the issue was pre-existing before I purchased the vehicle (which was NOT disclosed to me), yet had the audacity to charge me $1,000 to fix it. I begrudgingly agreed to pay because it needed to be fixed and I had felt "cornered" at that point. The parts failed less than 24 hours after I picked it up. I brought it back to the dealer and demanded that they fix it for free and they did (as they should!). I had no other issues with the vehicle until this month. The vehicle was leaking oil-- again. On February 11, I decided to bring it to a Jeep dealership to be diagnosed/fixed. I should mention that I bought a warranty from Andy Mohr for $3,500 when I purchased the vehicle. I specifically asked the finance lady (the one who sold me the warranty) if I could take the vehicle to be fixed elsewhere using that warranty and she assured me that I could (I asked her twice!). The Jeep dealer found an issue with an oil gasket valve, which was supposed to be covered under the warranty I bought from Andy Mohr. When the Jeep dealer contacted the warranty company, they were informed that the vehicle needed to be "released" from Andy Mohr so that it could be fixed at the Jeep dealer using the warranty. Andy Mohr refused to release the vehicle, claiming I needed to have it fixed there-- even though I specifically asked before I bought the warranty if I could take the vehicle elsewhere to be fixed. When I took it to the Jeep dealer, the service guy asked if I knew that the airbag was under recall. I said "yes, but the original dealer (Andy Mohr), assured me that it had been fixed". The service guy at the Jeep dealership told me that couldn't be true because only Jeep dealers are authorized/able to fix recalls involving Jeep vehicles. Not only did Andy Mohr lie to me about the more than $1,000 worth of preexisting issues with the vehicle, but they also lied to me regarding fixing the airbag recall, and lied to me about being able to use the warranty I bought from them to have the vehicle fixed elsewhere. I called Andy Mohr this week on 2/17 at 10:35 AM (Monday), 2/18 at 4:30 PM (Tuesday), and 2/19 at 11 AM (Wednesday) in an attempt to resolve the issues. I left a voicemail each time for Eric Wilson, the general manager of the dealership, with no response. This dealership is very deceitful and unprofessional! The problems I have had and the lies I have been told by this dealership are absolutely unacceptable!
