Vanilla visa gift card
A vanilla visa gift card was given to me by my man, he bought the card for me I tried making use of the card for the first time, it said not activated, I still tried and used it couple of time but this time it says error in card and the card should be rectified before use, that's the issue I'm having right now hoping it would be resolved immediately thank you.

Walmart vanilla egift card
I purchased (3) $50 and (1) $25 Vanilla eGift Visa Cards via Walmart.com within the last week. Two of the orders still say “pending” and the other two were delivered. The two that were delivered show that they are active however I can not link the to ANY app other than the Walmart app for online purchase. Very convenient for Walmart! There isn’t an option to “register” or to enter my zip code anywhere on the site. I have tried calling every customer service number available and never spoken with anyone. I gave sat on hold for nearly an hour each time. Also, if I try to sign on to the site I get an error message each time. The Walmart Vanilla eGift Cards are nothing more than a scam/hustle from Walmart so you’re FORCED to spend your money with them!
Desired outcome: I either want a full refund or I want to be able to link my eGift cards so I can use them online
Visa vanilla card
On June 28th I sent an email to the email that was provided on the customer service phone call I made earlier that day (31 minutes on the phone) the representative told me exactly who to email ([protected]@incomm.com) and what to include (front and back drivers license photo, photo of receipt, and front and back of Visa Vanilla gift card) I included all in the email. One day later on June 29th [protected]@incomm.com told me that I need to include all photos ( I did that already) but I sent it again, informing them that I already did in the previous email. To this day I have not gotten an email back from them. This was a gift card for over $100 that I want resolved ASAP, this has gone on long enough. The problem that I have with the card is there are 4 numbers missing on it, there is only 12 numbers on the card, and even when you swipe it at stores it does not work.
Desired outcome: I want my gift card or cash back
Vanilla Gift Card
I received a $150.00 Vanilla Gift Card from a client in November or December 2021. I opened it to use it at a Home Depot months later. When the cashier ran it she told me it only had $66.00 on it. I never used it. I have a copy of the receipt showing my client paid $150.00 at a Walgreens. When you call to check the balance it shows no other transaction than my Home Depot.
I have attempted to fill a dispute several times and getting no where with Vanilla.
I have the dispute form from May 2022.
I have been on the phone for over an hour on 7/5 and 7/6 to hear my case has been closed based on time lapsed.
I spoke to a supervisor, and she said her notes show the May dispute letter, Sept notes, Oct notes saying in process and Nov saying closed.
I have been advised to send an email to [protected]@incomm.com.
Desired outcome: I would like the $84.00 that I never received, that my client paid for.

Received a $350 vanilla gift card from my boss on 6/27/23. Activated it that day. Bought a couple of takeout dinners for me and my boyfriend (only spent like $50 total). Today I went to try to use the card, and ended up being told by the store that it had insufficient funds. That’s impossible because I still had $300 on there.
Sure enough I go look at my balance online and there is a charge for $280 from 6/28/23. Immediately called the customer care # to report it and have the pending transaction cancelled and marked as fraud. Waited 30 mins to get ahold of someone. Once I finally did, she kept putting me on hold and telling me she was looking into it, finally an hour later I kept
Her on the line asking how to get my $280 back and mark this as fraud! She told me to fill out a form online, which I did already, and said it would take up to 90 days to resolve the dispute (which doesn’t even guarantee the result will be getting my funds back). I asked i’d I couls be transferred to a supervisor bc she was so unhelpful and by the time i’d hear back the pending transaction (fraud!) would have processed. She kept me on hold for another 45 mins and then I hung up.
Vanilla gift Visa card
On 6/27/23, I checked my gift card balance online and it gave me an error message and asked me to sign in. That seemed weird so I retyped in the vanillagift.com address and a different site popped up. Apparently the first was a scam and my gift card balance was swiped by someone using cash app *Alen - stole all my money using small increments at 4:30am this morning, 6/28/23.
I called vanilla gift and was on hold for 30 minutes before someone answered. She told me there was nothing she could do even though my card was registered and that I had to have the original receipt. This was a gift given to me six months ago. No receipt available, so I asked if there was some thing else to be done, she put me on hold and said she would get her supervisor. Well, guess what, 45 minutes later I’m still on hold. I doubt my call will ever be answered. I sent an email and will be sending a letter and FDC complaint.
Fraudulent charges on card
My children received a $100 Vanilla gift card. Used it twice, then all of the sudden it was hit for fraudulent Charges, one was for $40.21 to THS Inc, 4 Google charges for $.99 and 3 Google charges for $1.99, all totaling $50.18. Good luck getting a hold of anyone from the company, called several times with a astronomical hold time and ended up hanging up each time.
Desired outcome: I would like the fraudulent charges refunded back to the card so my kids can actually use their money
New and already tampered with!
I just purchased a $100 Vanilla Visa Gift Card from Walgreens for my son for Fathers Day!
As usual.. I looked everything over very carefully to make sure it had not been tampered with in any way!
He opened it this evening to find that the 3rd set of 4 digits on the front of the card were scratched completely out along with the security code on the back!
I called the number on the back of the card... Waited for 20 minutes... then a guy from India whom I could barely understand his english gets on there and asks for my name, address, phone number, email and date of birth... Then says I must email them a copy of my receipt, the front and back of the card and front and back of my drivers license!
I have all that.. but not sure why they need all of MY PERSONAL INFO!
I am sopposed to be sending all that right now.. but Im not comfortable sending front and back of my license and knowing they already have my birthdate as well!
I AM NOT THE CRIMINAL HERE!
Then he proceeds to tell me.. After I have done all that I should wait 30 DAYS and then give them a follow up call!
Even when I consider their side of this... NOTHING ABOUT THIS SEEMS RIGHT!
That card clearly came from their company like that! There were no added stickers to it... nothing had been opened from the seems and the numbers on the packaging matched with those on the back of the card!

I keep trying to activate the card but the website doesn't even [censored]ing work, this is my 3rd day in a row trying to activate/check the balance of the card and all it tells me is that there is a problem. Next I try calling them but of course the wait times is hours long, and I really think there isn't anyone in customer support for this [censored]ty card. Can't even get my money back because I can't set a pin.

Never again will I use vanilla gift card I bought two gift cards today to pay for my stepson's football uniforms online and I have had nothing but problems I've activated them I've registered them I've called they want 800 number somebody had a baby in the background crying and she was like it's probably the merchant no it's you it's y'all and it's so frustrating because I really have a deadline to get him his cleats and his uniform for this and I will buy American Express or swerve or anybody before I pay another $90 for two Visa vanilla gift cards I'm so disappointed in the process you can't give any resolution and this is an emergency I need to get this stuff taken care of before the weekend so that he can get on the field and play not happy at all that is how specific I'm going to be two cards keep getting declined after registration and activation

Unnecessary charges
So they’ve charged me over $100 over the last few months. So what they do is when I try to place an order they charge me for it then say they’re unable to make the order but don’t send me the gift card and still charge me for it. They also never refund me my money, on some of the orders which are usually $12.95 it’s been over a month and still no refund or gift card. They just stole my money.
Desired outcome: I want them to either send me the gift cards I payed for or refund me my money.
Charges
The company has charged me for over 7 gift cards that they have not sent me. I will try to place the order then I will get charged for it and then I get sent to a screen that sais it’s unable to process my order. But I still get charged and I’ve never received the gift card or received a refund it’s been over a month on some of the charges. They have stolen around $100 from me.
Desired outcome: I want to get refunded my money to my card or the gift cards I was charged for send to the email it was intended to go to.
prepaid card not activated upon purchasing.
On April 5th, 2023 I purcahsed a $150 vanilla prepaid card paid the fees associated with it. It was suppose to be a gift. Unfortunately it did not work, I immediately called customer service given a case number and email to send supporting documents for it. Timeline provided for the case to be completed was 5-10 business days. I was informed to follow up if I did not hear anything back within the timeline. Same was done, spoke to another rep and was informed that it will be brought up to their supervisor. Another timeline was provided and was not met. I called again on May 2nd, 2023. Was informed that a 'replacement' card was sent. As of today June 21st, 2023 nothing was received. I called in today and the customer service rep informed me that this case was still in 'progress.' I informed them that I will not be following up anymore and and will begin this process of complaint.
Desired outcome: Receive replacement card for the amount of $150 as initally paid.
New Vanilla Gift Card
The Vanilla gift card I was given is not scanning at the local merchants, won't be accepted online and the front of the card is missing 4 numbers. I waited on hold for 40 minutes to speak to a representative just to be given a case # and being told someone that I would receive an email that evening and would be told what information is needed to replace the card. I have not received an email (case #[protected]) and when attempting to call the Customer Service line you stay on hold for a long period of time and then they hang up. This is ridiculous! I need HELP!
Desired outcome: New gift card immediately
My card had 14 numbers not 16 so was unable to make online purchases
I went to Walgreens and purchased 2 gifts cards for 200 dollars and both cards our missing numbers. Once I contacted the company they wanted so much of my information to start investigation and I still would have to mail in a copy of a receipt and and cards which I can do but why would you need all of my information for a gift card. To tell me I have to wait 30 days to say rather or not you will send me a refund. I gave they number off the back. Why send out defective cards then take people through so much to refund their hard money they work hard for. I do not need a ID to purchase the prepaid card but you want a copy of my license to refund me for your defective product

I purchased a Vanilla Gift card valued at $100. This was a gift for a friend’s birthday. When they opened the package to remove the card from its packaging. The 16 digit card number is missing. I went back to Walgreens where the card was purchased and they will not, exchange, refund for a defective card. They instructed me to contact Vanilla to get help. I called Vanilla and was on hold for nearly an hour on June 18, 2023. 3:47PM and all they could do is take down my information and said they will send me a complaint form to fill out. Along with the process could take 30 to 90 business days. I feel as if Vanilla Gift cards are a scam. They really should be removed from all marketplaces.
Desired outcome: All I want is a refund. The company to be held accountable for poor customer service and lack of quality in their products

Purchased from Walgreens $100.
For a friend’s birthday. Missing numbers and couldn’t activate the card. Tried taking it back to Walgreens for a refund. The will not refund and said contact Vanilla directly with the number on the back of the card. I called and was on hold for over an hour. They disconnected me and I tried calling again.
If this is an ongoing problem why even do business with Vanilla. All I want is a refund and not get cheated.

I was given a $100 Vanilla Visa Gift Card as a gift. I made 2 purchases with the card from Amazon. When I checked purchase invoices, the purchases were charged to my Amazon account. Thinking that I inputted the wrong card, I went to VanillaGift.com to check the gift card balance only to see that purchases that I did not make was shown and there is a 2 cent balance on the card. The gift card has never been out of my possession and I have the original packaging which was not opened when given to me.
Desired outcome: I would like to refunded for the card. The company also needs to research how fraudulent purchases are being made using their card even when the packaging is intact. This kind of activity will stop consumers from purchasing gift cards.

Had to disput gift card balance because it was stolen so I filed a dispute and was sent an email may 5th 2023 that I would receive a new card in the mail in 7-10 days unfortunately the card never arrived I kept calling and emailing and got nowhere but tonight was told that someone that works for vanilla gift card reactivated this gift card and somehow the money is mysteriously gone and am told I have to file yet another dispute and wait yet again up to 90 days.
Desired outcome: Would be really grateful if they would just email me a new card already due to its not my fault they activated a card that was stolen

I bought a $100 vanilla gift card at CVS for my daughter’s 8th grade trip. When we got home I opened the package and 4 of the 16 digit card # were scratched off. I went online but couldn’t do anything bc it wanted the 16 digits. I called and was on hold for 30 mins. I had to go out and get another card for the trip so I bought some other items and tried to use the Vanilla gift card and it did not even register when I scanned it. I wanted 24 hours and tried it again but it still did not work. I tried calling customer service again and was on hold for another 30 mins. I called CVS to complain and they basically told me there was nothing they could do. I have disputed the charge with my credit card but have not heard back on the outcome yet. After seeing all the complaints and stories I am shocked that this company is still allowed to sell these fraudulent cards. People spend their hard earned money just to be robbed.
Desired outcome: I would like my $100 back and these scammers shut down and arrested.
