Bad experience. Avoid Veseys. Shop Elsewhere.
Still havent received the seeds that were ordered, and its been months...Shipping to the USA isnt an excuse, as many Canadian customers say the same.
Like others, I was fooled by their propaganda magazine and ordered, but dont let it fool you. Orders are often very slow and arrive too late to plant, if they arrive. Once, their magazine had all-lied war propaganda on the cover to celebrate the fireb ombing of innocent civilians, for some disturbing reason (see the Hellstorm documentary). Dont know why Veseys felt that putting that garbage was appropriate when this is a plant business.

Terrible Service and Frustration with Veseys: A Snowblower Repair Review
I recently had an experience with Veseys that left me feeling quite frustrated. You see, my snowblower had only been used for a total of 4 hours when one of the cables broke. I brought it in to Veseys for repair, but was shocked to find out that they had the machine for a full 2 weeks before even looking at it. And this was in February, when I really needed it!
To make matters worse, the cable that needed to be replaced was a simple $30 part that they didn't even have in stock. I mean, come on, how hard is it to keep a basic part like that on hand? I called back 3 weeks later to check on the status of the repair, and was told that the cable had finally arrived. Eric assured me that they would be putting it on in the next couple of days.
Meanwhile, I had to pay someone $90 to blow my driveway three times, and spent 7-8 hours shoveling out walkways myself. It was a real hassle, and I was not happy about it. In fact, I'm so upset that I'm sending Veseys a bill for all the extra work and expenses I had to incur because of their slow service.
Honestly, this is the worst experience I've ever had with a company. I don't think I'll be buying anything from Veseys again in the future. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.

When the Haskap Bushes Collection (#***) arrived, I noticed that they had already broken dormancy and were sprouting leaves. This concerned me, as I knew that the bushes were not supposed to be in this state when they arrived. Additionally, the stems of the bushes were thin and under-developed, which made me worry about their ability to survive transplanting.
Sadly, my concerns were warranted. Two of the three bushes died shortly after I transplanted them. I was disappointed that the plants were not in better condition when they arrived, and that I was not able to successfully grow them.
To make matters worse, Veseys did not send the seeds until May, which was much too late for me to start them indoors for transplant. I was frustrated that I had missed my opportunity to grow these plants, and that Veseys had not sent the seeds in a timely manner.
When I reached out to Veseys about the dead Haskap Bushes, I never received a response to my email. This lack of communication was frustrating and made me feel like my concerns were not being taken seriously.
Overall, I would not recommend buying from Veseys. My experience with them was disappointing, and I did not feel like they provided the level of customer service that I expected.

Great Quality Bulbs and Flowers with Excellent Customer Service from Vesey's
Vesey's is a great place to get bulbs and flowers that you can't find anywhere else. I ordered a bunch of bulbs for fall planting back in 2014, and I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the quality of the bulbs. They were really beautiful and looked great in my garden.
However, there was one small problem. When I received my order, I didn't count the bulbs, so I didn't realize that they had accidentally sent too few of one type of bulb. It wasn't until the spring when I noticed that the expected bulbs didn't come up that I realized there was an issue.

So, I ordered some plants from Veseys and let me tell you, it was not a great experience. First of all, my plants were stuck at the mail processing centre for weeks and a lot of them died during that time. As a professional horticulturalist, I know the difference between dead and dormant plants, and unfortunately, many of mine were definitely dead.
I specifically want to warn you about the Romance Cherry Collection. They send these tiny seedlings in dry soil and honestly, they have very little chance of surviving. I wouldn't recommend it at all.
The Pink Honeysuckle was also a bit of a disappointment. They said it would be shipped as 18 inch branched cuttings, but one of them was only 4 inches tall! That's a far cry from the 18 inches they promised. And the bulbs were soft, which doesn't bode well for their chances of growing.
The only redeeming part of my $400 order were the raspberries and magnolias, which were acceptable.
It's worth noting that Veseys doesn't even allow reviews on Google anymore because of the number of terrible reviews they've been getting this year. That's not a good sign.
Look, I hate to diss a local business, but Veseys really needs to get their act together. If they want to stay in business, they need to improve the quality of their plants and shipping practices.

I was quite puzzled and called them to ask why this had happened. Unfortunately, they had no explanation for me. To make matters worse, I did not receive my seeds either!
I was quite frustrated by this turn of events and requested a refund. However, even after waiting for 3 weeks, I still had not received my refund. I called them over 4 times and was told repeatedly that they would refund my card, but they had not done so. I found their behavior quite suspicious and reported it to my bank as it seemed like fraud to me.
I would not recommend working with Veseys as they were quite rude on the phone too. I was quite disappointed with their service and ended up buying some amazing seeds from True Leaf Market. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, they shipped out my order just one week after I placed it.
In conclusion, I would advise anyone looking to buy seeds to avoid Veseys and instead try True Leaf Market. They have excellent customer service and will not disappoint you.
