VetAssit is a great service
VetAssit is a great service. They manage the application process for military veterans with medical needs to get financial aid from the government. My dad was a veteran on the Korean war and needs daily home care services. VetAssit got my dad qualified for homecare 5 days a week, which is paid by the government out of his veteran's pension. I highly recommend VetAssit.
What a wonderful program!
What a wonderful program! We worked with the Vet Assist Program at Veterans Home Care who was very organized and detail-oriented getting our Mom the best services possible. This is an invaluable program to veterans and their spouses and families. So grateful we had this and our Mom is safe and comfortable in an assisted living facility where she is thriving!
I'm a caregiver for a friend who's husband served in the Army for 26 years..she has been very grateful for this service.
Veteran Home Care is made up of compassionate people who are obviously eager to assist the veteran and his/her family. They were very helpful in getting me through all the paperwork to get our services set up. I don't know how we could manage without this program. I'm 65 and disabled and the extra care they provide makes it possible for me to keep my dad at home rather than going to a nursing home.
This is the most wonderful service ever. They work with you in every situation. They are there for our veterans. So helpful and our veterans come first as they should. I would advise all veterans/spouses to use this service.
VetAssist excelled in all communications with us despite the many obstacles we were faced with during the application process. The follow up with application problems were timely and efficient. This enabled the home care process to initiate quickly, which was very much needed. During the whole process both of my 89 year old parents were hospitalized (for different medical reasons). Despite this, with Amanda's assistance and understanding, we were able to meet all deadlines with little difficulties. Every time I spoke with any member of the team they would thank my father for his service to our country!
VetAssist has been a life changer for my mother
VetAssist has been a life changer for my mother. My father passed away a couple of years ago and my elderly mother was left alone. My dad served honorably in the Air Force and VetAssist was able to help me and my mother apply for assistance for in home services. This has allowed my mother to stay in her home. We are very pleased with the team of professionals at VetAssist.
Vet Assist was a quick way to get my father signed up for his care giver offered by the VA. Vet Assist told me of paperwork I needed and told me where I could locate certain information they needed to properly expedite the process with the VA. They took the long wait out of the equation. Dad had his caregiver shortly after I had the paperwork submitted.
My dad is 98 and a WWll vet. Veterans assistance has been a lifesaver for me. Dad suffers from dementia but wanted to stay in his own apartment, where he is comfortable and feels safe. If it weren't for vet assist he would have needed to go to a nursing home. They treat him with kindness, patience and most of all respect. The team he has is exceptional. Trent, Regina, Amber, Becky and Tammy. I will be forever grateful and thankful for all they do. If you have a veteran in need of assistance please don't hesitate to contact this wonderful organization.
If you are a veteran or dependent and need financial assistance for day-to-day living (assisted living), adult day-care or possibly residential living expenses, VETERAN'S HOME CARE is your go-to resource. Call these experts for any questions you may have regarding qualifications, documentation assistance, etc. In my case, my now 89-year-old mother came to live with us after her Korean War veteran husband passed away. She has been living with us for 5 years now and has Alzheimer's. We didn't know VHC existed. A friend referred us to this agency and we could not have found a better support program. Jo *** (our case manager) has been our angel. She has answered a myriad of questions and was able to get my mother qualified for their services. All staff members are extremely knowledgeable and truly care about their clients and their families. If needed, follow-up is as prompt as possible. My mother is now attending adult day-care after over a year of being closed due to Covid-19. Unfortunately, I have seen a major decline in her ability to function. I am however, extremely grateful and I feel blessed to have received assistance for my mother. I won't hesitate to refer other veterans and/or their families to this amazing agency. As I am also a veteran, should the time come that I may need help for myself or my spouse, we know who to call...VETERAN'S HOME CARE! JOB WELL DONE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!
My father who is 91 and a Korean War veteran has dementia and I needed in-home help taking care of him. I was searching for programs that help get assistance for war veterans. I ran across VetAssist, I read their reviews and I liked what past customers had written about them. I contacted VetAssist and explained to them the situation I was facing with my father. They told me they could help and from there I sent them all the information that they requested and they did all of the necessary work needed to get my father approved. I now have the in-home support that I need to help with my father. All of the people I spoke with throughout the process were very professional, caring, understanding and supportive. I would definitely recommend them.
We have been very pleased with the Veterans Home Care
We have been very pleased with the Veterans Home Care. They have been the most helpful, supportive, informative, and have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help with all of our questions, needs, and concerns, etc. I don't know what we would do without them. They are genuinely sincere in the care and concerns of their clients. I would highly recommend them for any and all of your needs.

Veterans Home Care has been great to work with for my family
Veterans Home Care has been great to work with for my family. Started approximately 4 years ago that they helped us through the VA system. My dad was Army in WWII served as a medic in the hospital in India. After he returned to the states he went to seminary school and became a pastor. I was with him the last 2 weeks of his life. I will always cherish the time I had caring for him. Thank you again.

From the very first contact, everyone has been wonderful!
From the very first contact, everyone has been wonderful! I felt so lost and overwhelmed when we had to get help for mom. They never hesitate to help me through this confusing situation. Everyone is so friendly and always has a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen to my concerns and fears. The extra money has really helped. Anyone I think who could benefit from this program I will be telling them to call today! My family cannot thank Vet Assist enough ?
Veterans Home Care was a Godsend for us
Veterans Home Care was a Godsend for us. It became necessary for us to need the extra help and everyone at Vet Assist that I spoke with went over and beyond to help me with filling out the application and getting the correct paperwork. Once we were approved they connecting us with a great Home Health Care (Comfort Keepers). The people they sent out were professional and caring beyond belief. If it wasn't to Vet Assist - Veterans Home Care I don;t know what we would have done to get the care my mom received.

VetAssist has been very helpful with getting access to services for my mother
VetAssist has been very helpful with getting access to services for my mother. My dad was an Air Force veteran and should have received some disability benefits, but did not and he did not pursue the benefits while he was alive. Fast forward, my mother was in need of in-home care and within this process, we were introduced to VetAssist. They showed us what she was entitled to, based on my dad's records and helped us qualify her for his survivor's disability benefits which enables us to receive significantly more in-home care that we could before, when we were paying for the care out of pocket.

I stumbled upon them on a caregiver site when I was searching for caregivers for my mom (Veterans Home Care)
I stumbled upon them on a caregiver site when I was searching for caregivers for my mom (Veterans Home Care). Jeanine Smith was so awesome to deal with as she was so helpful to me who knew nothing. I really wish that I would have known about them when my Dad needed caregivers before he passed as we paid out of pocket for them. Since my Dad was the Vet, my mom qualified for some hours each month, Jeanine helped me get and keep track of the hours so I would know how to schedule each month. When we needed to change Caregiver companies, she made the transition simple. There are really no words that can express my gratitude for her and Vet Assist. Sincerely, Jane Doe
