I have prepaid for weekly trash pickup and biweekly recycling pickup
I have prepaid for weekly trash pickup and biweekly recycling pickup. Thursday 5/21 was my trash pickup day and I had our trash on the street on the evening of Wednesday 5/20. Waste Connections came on our route on 5/21, picked up trash on either side of us and across the street and bypassed us altogether. I called on Thursday 5/21 to inform them and the telephone clerk I spoke with promised they would send a truck back out that day. No truck so we called back on Friday 5/22. This time the telephone clerk said their driver said our trash wasn't out when they came back. Did the clerk lie? Possibly. Did the drivers lie? Possibly. Are the drivers simply incompetent? Possibly. No matter, we said "then give us a credit" and this too the telephone clerk refused, even though I have already paid for this weekly service which Waste Connections failed to deliver for the week of 5/21. I can attach pictures of our trash that Waste Connections failed and then refused to pick up. I don't see an option for that now, but will add them if that option comes up farther along. I'm sure you will agree that there is no excuse for "overlooking" it. I would also add that I have used the designated Waste Connections complaint mechanism and have still not received a single response from the nonexistent Customer Service at Waste Connections, a manager or anyone else.

In November I called Waste Connections of Colorado Springs to cancel my service on December 31st
In November I called Waste Connections of Colorado Springs to cancel my service on December 31st. I was moving from that residence so I needed to stop garbage service. I called spoke to a representative and took care of all payments, information and anything else they needed to close my account on that date. I specifically paid up to that date so my account would be closed. 3 months later in March 2022, I received a *** from Waste Connections claiming that I had a fee for turning my service back on in November . I told them that is incorrect, I called in November paid everything up until December , and I dont live there anymore. They claim that their agent forgot to charge me to turn back on my service. I have no idea what they mean about my service being turned off anyway and informed them that I dont live there and if my service was on in December then either I paid the fee or obviously my service was never off. Unfortunately, this business has lost thousands of customers because of bad customer service and it seems they are trying to recoup money from past customers. They keep telling me on the phone they will note the issue, as I will not pay a fee I never had, never knew about and that they created 3 months later. They have not taken care of the issue, I keep getting emails and no one from accounting will contact me after me calling several times.

They agree to pay me $3.95 back from the 4 weeks that charge for the service. I was not aware you needed to get in contact with the company when you leaving town because of a emergency. I called the company today to see if my service would be credit for those four weeks that was missed. No extra trip to pick up my trash being that my neighbors on both sides and across from me uses the same service.. The amount for four weeks would be $15.80.
This company is terrible. I called to stop service last October. I received a bill anyways. They have not picked up my trash in a year and yet they expect me to pay? I have proof of when I started a new service but was told they have no proof of a call made to them to stop service. Not giving me the benefit of the doubt and not working with me at all, I think is very slimy. I am a fair person, but also want to be treated fairly. This is NOT the case with this company. Before hanging up with me I was also told I would be paying a cancelation fee. The resolution I am willing to take is a public apology, changing their fraudulent policies and and a invoice showing I owe nothing. This is all that is fair and the only thing I am willing to accept.
For the last 3 weeks, our apartment building became aware that Waste Connections has not been providing the service that we pay them to provide. We have a recycling bin and a trash bin, which are supposed to be dumped separately; however, contrary to our contract as well as the environmental and ethical principles that maintain that these bins and their pickup as separate, Waste Connections is dumping the two bins into the same truck. I have reached out twice not only to the customer service email but the phone number as well (a total of four times), and our property manager has also contacted Waste Connections' area supervisor about this issue. Waste Connections needs to restore the separate trash and recycling services we pay for per our contract, and because it is ethically wrong to send recyclables to the landfill given the environmental and waste crises our planet is facing.
Customers should be billed $61.40 per quarter for the service
I discovered that customers should be billed $61.40 per quarter. My billing for 12/01 - 03/31/22 was $68.04, for 04/01/22 - 07/31/22 it was $68.72, for 08/01/22 - 11/30/22 it was $72.84, and for 12/01/22 - 03/31/23 it is $84.49. After calling customer service, I was informed of a price increase, which wasn't previously communicated. Questioning the past overcharges, I was told I'm eligible for a $61.40 rate. Despite requesting credits for overpayments, I was initially denied but later promised a one-time credit after insisting on speaking to a manager. I shared my experience online and found many customers facing similar unexplained price hikes with no refunds, indicating inconsistent billing practices.

I filed a complaint against Waste Connections in December for missing my trash pickup multiple times, including almost the full month of December. Since then they continually miss picking up my trash. I literally have to call almost every week to get them to pick up my trash. I have spoken to different managers and each has told me this will be resolved. After 7 months nothing has been resolved. The *** seems to increase each billing cycle but the service is getting worse. I feel as if my trash pickup is a problem for this company, like I am the only one with service on this side of town and it's too much of a pain to drive out this way. I live less than a mile west of downtown...If this is not resolved I will be seeking another trash service.
I contacted Waste Connections sometime at the end of April or beginning of May regarding cancellation of service. I stated over the phone that I would like to cancel my service because we were moving to another state and that our last day of pickup service would be Thursday May 19th. The representative told me to put my trash and recycling cans out at the curb for collection on Monday May 23rd. The company collected our trash and recycling receptacles that morning as agreed. Unfortunately, I spoke to a representative this afternoon who accused my of not cancelling my service and stated that the cans were not collected. The cans were collected by the company and I did cancel my service. I would like them to send me the $50 that I should have already received for return of the trash and recycling receptacles. Their refusal to acknowledge that the company collected the garbage and recycling cans is resulting in them not refunding my $50. I would like my $50 deposit returned.
Does not pick up trash or recycling. Providing false services and continual charging for services unperformed. Does not recycle
I was a Waste Connections customer for approximately 2.5 years and signed up for a paperless interface from the onset. Communication was exclusively via email throughout that time. No calls, no letters. They email, I respond. Upon receiving my bill for $121.14 dated 5/16/22 for the period 6/1/22-9/30/22 via email, I immediately secured a new, less-expensive provider and cancelled my service with Waste Connections by replying to the billing email on 6/2/22, three days before the invoice due date of 6/5/22.
To my surprise, I received another email from Waste Connections on 7/20/22 demanding full payment. Once again, I replied via email stating that I was not using their service. I had already contracted with another waste service provider on 6/1/22, who has been handling my trash collection since. On 8/22/22, I had a phone conversation with a representative who informed me that my email notifications meant nothing and that I should have cancelled by phone. I did so immediately during that call, but was told I still owed them for not calling to cancel in May.
Waste Connections has not collected my trash since 5/30/22, yet they are threatening to place a lien on my home or send the debt to collections. I had assumed there was a disconnect between their Operations and Finance departments because the service had stopped, but the billing email invoice notifications continued. All my email responses are documented and available for review.

I cancelled service over the phone 7/6
I cancelled service over the phone 7/6. Today on 7/17 I received notice via email that I was billed for another period of 3 months starting 8/2 *** and auto charged by the most recently used debit card which I never set up for auto payment. I called again and escalated to a supervisor who could not explain why I was billed another three months but insisted the onus was on me to cancel the automatic payment account online and that it is entirely separate from calling and cancelling service over phone. Well I did cancel the payment, as soon as I received notice that it was auto billed which has never happened prior to now. I never consented to the auto payment and even if I had it still does not explain another billing period in my name. I asked that the supervisor send email confirmation of cancelled service and no longer having a bill, which she agreed to in order to get me off of the phone but never actually followed through with. Upon reviewing their website's FAQ I can see there is a specification that when cancelling service, you also have to cancel billing online however I was not notified of it over the phone at the time of cancellation, and there is no disclaimer on their website. It is misleading to require customers to view the FAQ in order to properly cancel future charges. That appears predatory in my opinion. I need confirmation of cancelled service and to be able to sign in online and no longer see a balance due.

In May 2022 (among countless other times) Waste Connections of Colorado failed to pickup our trash two weeks in a row. When I called to remedy this they said it was my fault and our trash had been marked as not placed by the curb. We placed the trash by the curb the evening before and it sat by the curb all day when Waste Connections failed to pick it up. I told the representative this and she said I was wrong. She basically told me I was lying. When I tried to cancel my account I was told there is a $25 account cancelation fee. They want me to pay for their lack of integrity. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I let them know I would not be paying my next *** and the woman said they would take me to collections. I said have fun. I should not have to pay for the gross lack of integrity at Waste Connections of Colorado.
I have been a customer for several years. I used this company because I could use my own two small trash containers ( around *** gallons). A 96 gallon container does not fit in my garage, plus at my age, 81, I don't like to wrestle with a large container. I pay three months in advance, currently until June 30.This week, only one container was emptied. When I called to find out why, I was told that I pay for only one container, not two, so the driver left a full container on the curb. I suspect that one container policy is based on a 96 gallon one. My two small trash cans contain much less than 96 gallons. The spokes person I talked to just kept repeating company policy. She made no effort to understand my situation or to remedy it.. Furthermore, I had paid for service until the end of June. I received no notice about any change in my service. What I want is to continue with the service I signed up for at the agreed on price - and to be treated with respect.
I have cameras just like your trucks. I pay for 2 96 gallon total trash pick up. This week Friday July 8,2022 only 4 of the cans were picked up. Less than the 96 gallons x2. I called your office and was told a driver would pick up the 2 cans they missed Total 64 gallons of trash. No one showed up to pick up what wasn't picked up.I seek a credit for failure to do what I paid for.
We have been customers of Prodisposal for 10 years and never had a problem until Waste Connection bought them out!
We have been customers of Prodisposal for 10 years and never had a problem until Waste Connection bought them out! They are the worst company with terrible service and non existent customer service! I'm blown away that they have a B rating with the Complaintsboard.com. We went without trash or recycling pick up for over 3 weeks in November and again in December and recycling hasn't been picked up since late January. Tried calling multiple times and was on hold for over an hour on 2 different phones and gave up numerous times. The only way you can get in contact is leaving a bad review on Facebook. I asked for a refund since they don't provide the service I'm paying for and their reply was "You have 3 weeks of inclement weather built into price per month and because of that they do not offer a credits on top of that"! I pay for them to come weekly but they can miss 3 weeks out of the month? I let them know that my neighborhood has trash everywhere cause we're not the only house not getting our trash picked up. The animals and wind are getting trash everywhere and wanted to know if they were going to come clean up our neighborhood as it looks like a dump! "Our drivers do not clean up trash, only if it is in a receptacle and we will not issue a credit for any clean up that you had to do". Where am I supposed to put my trash when you haven't picked up in weeks. They also reduced the amount of trash they will pick up which has been a problem since they haven't picked up my recycling since late January and we're have had to throw away all our recycling as our bin had been overflowing for a month!

Started service 5 years ago with Lies, who were flexible and wonderful
Started service 5 years ago with Lies, who were flexible and wonderful. My experience with WC after has not been terrible but has not been at the same level. A couple mixed pickups with promises to pick trash up the next week (recycle bin) but they never fulfilled that promise. Forward to my last billing cycle and the house is under contract to be sold. Did not know how long it would take and you bill in such long billing cycles that it's hard to predict when to cancel/change. Account went 60 days late and service was suspended. Which is fine. But on trying to resolve I informed rep I just wanted to continue service through the next month or so. I was willing to pay the reconnect fee but not willing to pay for an entire, additional quarter. My plan had been to pay for the additional month I needed and when I got settled in my new place, to restart service but on being told I needed to pay for another quarter I decided this was not the path I wanted to go and that the rep wasn't really trying to find a solution that would work for both of us. On telling the rep to go ahead and cancel the service, and paying for the past due charges I was informed I would need to empty the containers and that I would be charged a pick up fee for them to come get the containers. That was not in my original deal with Lies and after telling the rep that, they said "you don't have a contract with us" and that they could charge me to pick them up. So, you want to charge me to pick up "your" containers without any agreement on my part or contract? I won't go any further into the legal ramifications of that at this point.

In December I called Waste Connections to arrange for trash svc thru Dec/2021
In December I called Waste Connections to arrange for trash svc thru Dec/2021. I am elderly and have a tight budget and like to have svcs paid thru years end. In Jan 2022 I received a *** for service for the month of Dec 2021. I am refuting this charge since it was specified to me by the person running my credit card that the charges included a discount for paying one year in advance, plus a discount for being a senior. I actually think this is a scam and hope you look into their records. Why would they perform service for *** and then let me know the following month I am in arrears? They either should not have performed and/or contacted me much sooner to work on reconciling this mess. I am concerned they are doing this to other people, telling them one thing about their coverage and then trying to double charge a year later. While their *** past due is only *** that is still a lot of money to me for nothing. Either I was hoodwinked OR they do not know how to keep good books. Either way, the error is on their part since their company assured me my *** was paid thru the end of last year. If my time had expired, why hadn't I been sent a *** for the month of December well before the month of January? I am very disappointed and worried they are taking advantage of seniors specifically; just seems like a scam. Thank you for listening; I am severely visually impaired and it would be difficult for me to scroll thru records looking for numbers. They have the record of their service and collection of payment; I do apologize and if I do need to provide any of that (if they can't or won't) I will work to step up to that. Thank you again!

I live in the suburbs and the city now provides trash service, ending the need for private ones.
I live in the suburbs, and recently the city decided to provide their own trash service as opposed to everyone having their own individual service. I cancelled my service with Waste Connection in mid-2021 and explained that we didn't have a choice other than paying for two trash services. They informed me of my last pick-up date and instructed me to leave the empty trash cans out on the curb to be collected on June 29th. I complied, but they never retrieved the cans. After two weeks, I contacted Waste Connection again to inquire about the pick-up. They scheduled another date but failed to collect the cans once more. In the meantime, passersby used the uncollected cans for their waste. After a neighbor complained about the cans at the curb, I moved them inside my property. On October 25th, I received a bill for not returning the cans. I disputed the charge, only to be told that I would now incur a fee for the pick-up service. They insisted the fee would stand, along with late charges, until I paid for the pick-up that I had already requested over four months prior. I'm considering billing them for storing their cans on my property for this duration.

I had American waste removal and was very happy with the service I had, American returned 96 gal bins that "I Owned" up the driveway very respectful of customers property, they sold out to Waste connections immediately bins that I owned were left laying in the street, had to go bring in because they were going to get hit by cars, they broke wheels that I had to fix. They just were very radical with the way they did the pickup. With in a month one of my bins was missing I called they said if the bin falls in the hopper they can't retrieve sent out a new one, three weeks later the other of MY BINS was gone! I called and they told me that same story if it falls in the hopper they cant retrieve, I watch these clowns and the hopper is waist high and anyone can pull it out before they crush it. I was told if I wanted a second that I had to pay additional, I am like Wait I have had two bins since 1998 and previous companies always picked them up without any additional charge. I called and emailed for a month with no response, finally someone called said they would resolve the issue. So now I went to cancel service was told that the bins were not mine. hell yes they are you stole both of my bins! Now they want to charge me for two bins at $100 apiece when they stole the two original. This fall in the hopper scam is a way to rape customers if they don't like the bins they just crush them. Pure [censored]! I would never use this company and I worked in the service industry for 23 years in a fortune 500 company. I know that this message will well discourage enough customers that the lousy $200 bucks they want to steal from me will amount to more than that. Customer service is what makes a company and the recording you get from this garbage place is false!

Our HOA currently uses waste connections for trash pickup
Our HOA currently uses waste connections for trash pickup. The last few months their service has been especially bad, I've had multiple missed pick *** (they simply dont empty our trash but everyone on both sides of our block gets theirs emptied as usual). This has meant multiple trips back out to our home for waste connections to do their job. Yesterday, ***, we get a bill for 15 dollars for an extra container from august 31st. I called today, ***, asking why. We have had the same trash and recycling set up for YEARS and never got a bill for anything, never had a missed pick up, nothing. The woman I spoke to told me we actually owe 30 dollars (the *** charge and a *** charge) for an additional recycling bin. She told me we can only have one recycling bin. She told me the driver had been picking up the extra one, even though it's apparently not allowed per our HOAs agreement with them, and are charging us it. There was ZERO notification from waste connections that if they picked up the additional bin there would be a charge. The driver intentionally picked it up, TWICE, seemingly hoping to make some extra money off of an unsuspecting customer. Neither the trash driver or *** reached out to us prior to grabbing a trash can that had not been paid for, and was not part of their agreement with our HOA to pick up. It's so incredibly shady. The driver could have left the bin, which would have resulted in me making yet another call to customer service and the situation could have been explained and I would have had the option to pay 5 dollars a month for an additional bin, if I wanted to make my decision. It would have then been 10 dollars total for 2 months of an extra bin for us to be in our 'limit'. Instead, its 30 dollars. Such shady pricing practices.

I first called Waste Connections of Colorado on October 24th asking to cancel my service
I first called Waste Connections of Colorado on October 24th asking to cancel my service. The representative on the phone said she couldn't help me but forwarded me to the person she said could help me. That person didn't pick up & I left a voicemail. The sales representative called me back on October 27th but I wasn't able to pick up the phone. They did not cancel my service, instead left me a voicemail and a new number to contact. I called them back on 11/3 and had to leave another voicemail. The voicemail said that I could also text them, which I did twice, once on November 11th and then again on November 15th. I never received a response to either text message and I never heard from this person again. I also called again on 11/15 when sending the 2nd text message and left another voicemail. On 11/18, I called the main Waste Connections line again, was told that the person who picked up the phone could see the record of me first calling on 10/24 and she would email the sales rep and ask her to call me by the end of the day. I never received a call. I called back later in the day and she said she followed up again. I never received a call back. I called yet again on 11/28 & was told that the representative picking up the phone would send another email & CC the manager and that I'd receive a call within a day. I never received a call. I called again on 11/29th and was told that yet another email is being sent. Meanwhile, I received a bill on 11/17 for MORE than my usual bill and told them that I'm not paying it because I've been trying to cancel since October 24th. I've been told multiple times that this same sales representative who is not returning any calls whatsoever is the only person who can take care of this bill. The longer this goes on, the more bills will accrue and we're not paying them. On 11/29 I requested the managers email & emailed him directly.

I have been a customer for seven years
I have been a customer for seven years. There have been a number of takeovers during that time (Pro Disposal, Lies, American, Waste Connections). I understand some hiccups during transitions, but there weren't any issues associated with transitions, until Waste Connections took over. The problems started about a year ago. We still had the provided trash containers with Lies branding, which we were told was fine to use. We had used the "Lies" the previous year, until one day, there were gone. Multiple phone calls to WC in which we were accused of losing the cans, or misplacing them. They refused to pick up the trash in bags or a smaller can i owned. I had to unprofessionally (Sorry ***) escalate to whomever the highest ranking person just to find out that they had indeed picked up the cans for improper branding. It took an additional week or two to get the cans, but they did finally arrive.Fast forward 6 months later, we slowly start having odd missed pickups, inconsistent pickup times/rules for trash and yard debris. Recycling would be picked up pretty much on time, but not trash. I was told we could put 2 bags of yard debris next to the cans and they would be picked up. Then that changed after a month, and was told i needed to purchase my own can for yard debris. i purchased one from, and they would randomly take or skip this can. Then they said the cans were not out at all...So I started leaving the cans out by the road permanently. So long in fact, that there are dust/dirt on the concrete in the shape of the bottom of the cans. Trash/Yard Debris/Recycling is picked up normally for months. Then, June 2022, and my trash gets skipped 3 weeks in a row. No one contacted me at all, i again had to escalate, nearly daily for the last two weeks. Was told they don't have the manpower to send out a "go-back"..until i mentioned i was changing to *** Services, and moved to close my WC account.WC is a terrible company, but *** tried to fix it.

I was a Pro Disposal customer, who was sold out to Waste Connections of Colorado
I was a Pro Disposal customer, who was sold out to Waste Connections of Colorado. I was informed that my service day would be changing from Thursday to Wednesday. On Wednesday the 19th of February my service was missed. On Thursday I called to find out why and Waste Connections of Colorado had no reason why i was missed. subsequently i was told a work order was opened up to have my service provided on Friday. With no service being done on Friday I called just before the office closed and was told that drivers were out until 7pm and they were running behind. I was then told to leave my cans out because if they had not been picked up on Friday they would be on done on Saturday. Saturday came and went with no service and the office is closed as i found out by trying to call yet again. Now Monday the 24th i called into the office and directly asked what LIE i would be told by the office staff as to why my service was missed. I went through the same steps of giving my address only to find out yet again that there was a work order sent down to dispatch from customer service but once it is sent down it is out of their hands. The customer service rep. told me that she would send down another work order and that it would be for today, however just before she rudely hung up on me she slipped in that if there was no driver in the area it would be tomorrow. when service was performed. This is when I told her thank you for that being the LIE for today. It is obvious why Waste Connections of Colorado has a one star rating on the Complaintsboard.com by customers. they LIE to the customers and do nothing to correct their failures in providing service. Go figure if i don't get service today or tomorrow, my regular service day is Wednesday the 26th...and chances are it wont be picked up. While typing this I have been on hold and finally had another customer service rep. answer to tell me that they are redoing the routes to provide better service and have fewer trucks on the road. and during the month of February there maybe missed service. This is the first time that i have been told this in my 4 calls to this company since Thursday. Also a note was being added to my account to direct the driver to pick up all curb side service on the 26th. At the conclusion of the call I did finally get to speak with a manager who seemed to take the situation more serious than the first 3 customer service reps. She assured me that this will not happen again moving forward and that they strive for better results and customer service.

I started with *** in 2003 and was very satisfied
I started with *** in 2003 and was very satisfied. Sometime in 2019 they were bought out by Waste Connections and the service has deteriorated immensely. My pick up day was changed from Thursday to Tuesday around Jan/Feb this year. They would never pick up my trash after the day change. I would try to call and could never get through to anybody to notify them of my problem. I even sent them an email on 2/12 about the problem but nobody responded. Finally they would pick up my trash but every once in a while they wouldn't. I have even flagged down their driver a few times to request him to pick up my trash. The drivers always seemed very confused about picking up my trash. My serviced ended on June 30 and I have not put out any trash out to be picked up since then. I did not want to renew as this company has some issues and I am also moving later this year and do not need trash service. I tried to call in June to notify Waste that I am not renewing but could never get through to them. Their customer service is horrible. So I assumed that when they saw that I did not renew that I did not want their service. Then, in July I receive a letter saying my account is overdue. I try calling again and again am unable to get through to anybody. I am a very busy person and do not have time to constantly try to contact a company that obviously has problems. So, I don't hear anything and think that Waste has figured it out. Then last week I receive a letter dated Oct. 12 that is a final demand for my delinquent account. I don't have an account with Waste. I have not had any trash service since the end of June. The letter says I have 10 days to pay balance in full or my account will be closed and I will have my container removed and be charged for container removal. I have NEVER even received a container from them. That shows how confused they are. I call them up yesterday 10/21, and surprise, somebody even answers the phone! I try to tell the lady about my issue and what has expired and she instantly tells me that I have to pay a prorated amount for my service (which I never even got) through Oct. 1. I tried to explain to her that I have tried to contact them to not renew my service and she just keeps telling me that I owe them and if I don't pay, that my bill will be sent to collections! Ridiculous! I tell her that I owe them nothing. I am not going to pay for something I did not want, did not request and did not receive. Since June 30 I have not had any trash picked up as I have not put out any trash to be picked up.

Can you pick billing issue, service issue, customer service issue?!?
Can you pick billing issue, service issue, customer service issue?!? DO NOT under any circumstances do business with *** who has since been bought by Waste Connections! When it was just *** I had wonderful service, however, when Waste Connections took over the problems began. They would miss my pick up and upon calling I was told oh sorry we will issue credit for that. I told them I don't need credit I need my trash and recycling picked up. I asked were they short staffed and they told me no, they just didn't pick up and I would have to wait until the next week. Fine...I wait till the next week only to be forgotten again, again and again. Fast forward through this happening repeatedly and I finally decide I am done. I call (10/14) and wait on hold for over an hour to get a representative named ***. *** was delightful, she tells me she's oh so sorry for the inconvenience and she will cancel my service and issue a check back for the payment I foolishly just made plus the credits owed. Wonderful, I am thrilled! She tells me this can take up to 4-6 weeks, I am not concerned, it's the holiday season and this is the desired outcome. Dun, dun dun...wait for it! 12/13 I call back and speak with *** who tells me the person I previously dealt with clearly had no idea what they were doing or talking about and had since been terminated! Wow! Not sure I really needed to know this but okay. Moving on *** tells me that I was not issued a check but credit to my account, the account I called to cancel. I guess at least they got one thing right in that my service was cancelled. Oh wait, how would I know since no service is the same as the "service" I was receiving. Anyway *** "fixes" the so called issue from a credit to a check being issued. She states that due to the inconvenience she is going to have my check cut and sent as a rush, the check will go out 12/16 and take 2 weeks to get to me. Again I am thrilled, clearly I am easily taken as a fool! The holidays have come and gone and now it is 1/24, I am yet to see any such check in the mail so I call again and speak with *** (after another lengthy hold) who is wholly unprofessional and is busy chit chatting with his trainee and manager so I get to hear a good portion of him getting "sassy" since he hasn't had his coffee yet; instead of promptly answering the call professionally and addressing the customer. He explains to me that the previous person didn't know when the check runs occur and my last call missed the deadline so just keep waiting because my check is on the way from Texas. Should be there in a week or two. UGH! So I continue to wait, it is now 2/20 I call and wait on hold as per the norm. I get to speak with *** today, I explain to her why I am calling and who I am. She pretty much confirms everything I have just explained and she can see that "a check has been cut and she is very sorry for the inconvenience but please keep waiting." I am sick and tired of waiting, I tell her while she is very nice, she needs to step up and do more than say sorry and tell me to keep waiting. She said it's out of her hands since billing is at another location, the best she can do is email them for a status...so here I am waiting again. I hope she is a woman of her word and thinks she will have an email update for me by later today. (Sigh)

I rented a rolloff dumpster and paid for that service for 7 days. The dumpster was delivered at 5 PM the first day and retrieved at 7:00 AM on the last day. Since I did not get to use the dumpster for the first or last day, I only received 5 days worth of rental/use. I informed the driver when I saw him picking up the rolloff and told him that I did not have 7 days of service. I was then charged an $84 fee for him to "come back and pick up the dumpster an hour later...still not getting the time of service I paid for. The customer service was unapologetic and rude, not offering any reasonable solution and instead cancelling my commercial trash pick up with out informing me. Two months later (December 19th) I receive a bill for $25 to cancel service and $100 for an Unreturned Container fee. Since I was unaware of my service being cancelled, it was also not known I needed to return the container.
Waste Connections of Colorado increases bill amounts every quarter, including for customers with contracted rates, so that amounts due appear higher than what the customer actually owes. *** claims that they cannot fix the billing issue and relies on customers to notice the incorrect rate and call in order for it to be fixed. Waste Connections does not update or send a corrected invoice if customers do not call to correct the error. However, if the customer is on auto-pay, they are charged the incorrect amount and Waste Connection cannot provide assurance that the customer ever receives a refund for paying in excess of their contracted rate.
