Disappointing Experience with Wayfair UK
As a potential customer, I must share my disappointing experience with Wayfair UK. After reading numerous reviews from other customers, it is evident that many have faced issues with customer service, delivery delays, damaged products, and poor communication. The overall rating of 1.2 stars on Sitejabber and 2.8 stars on Trustpilot reflects the dissatisfaction of customers. Stories of undelivered items, damaged goods, and unhelpful customer service paint a concerning picture. It is disheartening to see customers left frustrated and dissatisfied with their purchases. Considering the negative feedback and experiences shared by others, it is essential to approach shopping on Wayfair UK with caution and manage expectations accordingly.

Excellent product and service, but
I recently took delivery of an artificial plant, both the article and courier service were first class, but I was appalled at the massive amount of plastic sheet packaging- surely there is an alternative!

Disappointing Experience with Wayfair UK: Wasted Time, Poor Communication and Failed Delivery
I recently made a purchase from Wayfair UK - their website advertised a great selection of furniture, and I ended up purchasing a bed for my daughter who is starting university. I was excited to surprise her with a brand new bed, but unfortunately, things did not go as planned.
When I first received my delivery slot for Thursday, I was looking forward to the bed arriving - however, when the time came, the bed didn't turn up. No one rang me to let me know, so I had to take it upon myself to ring their customer service number the next day. I was informed that my delivery had been lost, and that they couldn't deliver the bed until Monday. I was frustrated but understanding - these things happen. However, I was told that I couldn't speak to a manager till the end of the day as he was "so busy," which I found to be quite unprofessional.
After waiting for 20 minutes on the phone, I was eventually put through to the manager who told me that the best he could do was deliver the bed on Sunday. I agreed to the new delivery time and hoped that everything would go smoothly from there.
However, on Friday, we received a surprise call from Wayfair - out of the blue, they informed us that the bed could be delivered in just 10 minutes. I was surprised and unprepared, but eager to finally receive the bed, so I rushed to my daughter's flat expecting the delivery team to arrive soon. Unfortunately, there was no delivery, and another 2 hours were wasted. My daughter was left sleeping on the floor, which was not ideal.
The next day, I rang Wayfair to try and get some answers, but I was told that I would receive a call back later that day. Unfortunately, I received no call back, and my daughter ended up ringing them herself - she was told that the bed would be delivered "some time next week, but they couldn't say which day." I was frustrated and felt helpless - as a parent, it was difficult to leave my daughter without a proper bed, especially when we had planned to assemble the bed together.
Overall, I was disappointed with the way that Wayfair UK handled my order. I understand that things happen, but their communication with customers and their delivery company needs major improvement. It was frustrating to waste so much time waiting around and on the phone for a simple bed - we had many other important things to do during our trip. I hope that they can sort out these issues in the future because no customer should be left sleeping on the floor.
Disappointing Service at Wayfair UK: Delayed Delivery and Poor Customer Service
I placed an order with Wayfair UK (wayfair.co.uk) earlier this year and I have to say, I was very disappointed with their service. I was expecting my delivery to arrive within a month of purchase, but it was delayed not once, but twice. After repeatedly contacting their customer service team via e-mail and over the phone, I finally received a response that my order could only be delivered in mid-2022! To be honest, I was left shocked by this ridiculous estimated delivery date.
I couldn't understand why this was happening when Wayfair was offering the same product on sale with delivery within 2 weeks, charging twice the price I paid. When I asked for an explanation, Wayfair cancelled my order without my permission. This left me feeling totally frustrated and disappointed with the company. I believe that Wayfair broke our deal, and showed a complete disregard for their customers.
I would like to advise any customer who faces similar issues with Wayfair to report their practices to the UK Trading Standards. They are there to help when a business has broken the law or acted unfairly. You can find them at: [www].citizensadvice[.]org[.]uk/consumer/get-more-help/report-to-trading-standards/. I would also advise reporting false information provided by Wayfair to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) to help enforce advertising rules. You can find this at [www]. Asa[.]org[.]uk/make-a-complaint. Html.
An update to my review is that I did receive a reply from Wayfair but it was unsatisfactory. The company did not resolve the issues that I had highlighted in my review. Instead of a refund, I had requested Wayfair to deliver the furniture that I had been waiting for months. I have still not received the delivery.
Future customers should be very aware of Wayfair's practices before making any purchases. If the price for what you want to buy is not high enough at the moment of purchase, they may break the deal and instead advertise it for more later. So, if you're thinking of using their services, be sure to think twice and consider your options carefully.
False Advertising and Poor Quality: My Disappointing Experience with Wayfair UK's Raul 88 inch TV Stand
I recently received a TV stand from Wayfair UK, which I had purchased on November 5th. I was informed that the item was in stock, but soon after learned that it needed to be shipped from Germany. The product finally arrived today, but unfortunately I was disappointed by its quality. The stand, which was advertised as being suitable for TVs up to 88 inches, can only hold 25kgs of weight. This crucial information was not included in the advertisement, which led me to expect that the stand could support much heavier televisions. My 75 inch TV weighs over 32 kgs, which is already beyond the limit of this flimsy and poorly constructed TV stand. It's worth noting that some 88 inch TVs weigh over 50 kgs - twice the weight capacity of this stand!
In my opinion, this is a clear case of false advertising. Wayfair UK made promises that its product could not deliver on, and did not provide important information to customers. As a result, I am now stuck with a useless purchase that does not meet my needs and was not worth the money. Unfortunately, Wayfair UK is asking me to pay for the product to be collected, which only adds insult to injury. It's disgraceful that companies like this can still get away with misleading advertising. Especially at a time when people are relying on online shopping due to the lockdown, many consumers may be getting ripped off by companies that don't provide accurate information about their products.
The TV stand that I received is called the Raul 88 inch TV stand, but in reality can only hold 40 inch TVs or smaller due to the poor materials and construction. If you're looking for a TV stand that can actually hold a larger television, I suggest you look elsewhere. Wayfair UK clearly does not care about its customers, as evidenced by the generic computer-sounding responses that they leave on Trustpilot. It's clear that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction, and that's simply unacceptable.
Nightmare Experience with Wayfair UK: Missing Parts, Lies, and Excuses
My experience with Wayfair UK was an absolute nightmare from the start. I ordered an office chair, but when it arrived, the main part was missing. I contacted customer service, but what followed was a series of lies and excuses that I could scarcely believe.
Every day, a different so-called assistant with a name like Tom, 'ick, or Harry would tell me a new reason why the missing part had not arrived. They blamed everything from their courier forgetting to pick it up, to the weather, to the alignment of the stars.
And don't even get me started on the 'regurgitated' standard customer letters. I received the same written garbage over and over, telling me to 'rest assured' as they would 'reach out' to their warehouse and resolve the matter. But every time they 'reached out,' nothing happened. All they did was send me another 'update on order' email with a new, distant delivery date.
At one point, they assured me that an investigation would be carried out and I would receive a resolution on a certain day. Of course, that day came and went with no resolution, just another revised estimated delivery date.
It was clear that Wayfair had no intention of actually resolving the issue. Eventually, I gave up and requested a refund. I was told that the chair could be donated to charity or kept, as they had no way of collecting it without the missing part.
Needless to say, I was beyond frustrated and angry with Wayfair UK. I'm still trying to figure out what good an office chair is without the main part to attach the seat to the wheels! But in the end, I guess it worked out for the best - the chair was of terrible quality anyway.
So, thanks but no thanks Wayfair. I will never be shopping with you again.
Disappointing experience with Wayfair's delivery: wrong bed size twice and a month delay for correct size
So, I only got a small double bed and I was chuffed that it come early but when it got here, it was a king size! I had to go through sending a load of pictures and emails to show that they sent the wrong one, but by that point I had got rid of the one it was going to replace, so I needed to have it collected ASAP. I talked to their online customer service and they got the pick-up arranged, which was quick, but they said that they were going to get the right one sent over as soon as they could. So guess what? The new bed was delivered a week later and surprise surprise, it was a king size again! I turned it away because I could tell just by looking at it that it was way too big, and again, obviously, it was the wrong size. The delivery dudes marked it down as refused delivery and I got straight onto the phone to let wayfair know what was up. They said that I needed to send over some pictures and emails again, even though I had already done that at this stage. I actually talked to them about the fact that I didn't have a bed and that I didn't want to be messed around anymore. I was super polite, but firm like, and I hoped that they would get the right size one sent over ASAP because I was really starting to pinch up proper uncomfortably. They said that it would be delivered within a week max as it was in their warehouse and ready to go.
Now check this out, they didn't send me any updates by email and I didn't go away in case the bed came and I wasn't home to sign for it. So, I had to call them myself today and turns out that I have to wait a whole month more for the bed now (and that's if they even send the right one this time). I asked to speak to somebody higher up in charge because I have been so messed around, but they said that they couldn't. What kind of help is that to somebody who is already pretty darn mad and upset? I have to tell you that I have never felt so let down by a company before. They really don't seem to care about me as a customer, or even have their act together to send the right merchandise straight out to the right people. I'm not too sure what I can do, but thought I'd leave my thoughts here. Thanks for reading.
Unleashing the Power of Creativity: A Review of "Creative Confidence" by Tom Kelley and David Kelley
Never Ever Again
Never ever again will I even think about using this company.
1st time of using and all they have is lies, lies, lies.
Order was split into several deliveries with so called dates.
1st part guarenteed next day.
Recieved email with confirmation.
Recieved email with delivery slot.
Recieved email with delivery time.
Next morning recieved message from courier stating that they had not recieved the item.
Rang and spoke to Wayfair.
All information from their customer services was as per the emails, delivery, delivery etc.
When I said again I had not recieved it because the courier hadn't got it, they blamed the courier then the warehouse dispatch team.
However, guarenteed to get it tomorrow.
Tomorrow arrived and no details of delivery time so I rang.
Item hasn't been dispatched I will get it tomorrow.
No, not happy.
So they then check there is a problem at the suppliers and the item will not be in stock until the 26th September 2021.
I asked how can they still be advertising with guarenteed get it tomorrow if ordered within so many minutes.
I must be mistaken I was told.
See first picture
So I said I had a screenshot and I would be informing trading standards.
Reply, We willl get someone to find out why it is showing as next day.
2nd item.
Informed that delivery would be today.
Then I get a message from the courier stating there will be a delay and it will be next working day.
I contact the courier and was informed they haven't got the item yet but when they get it, it will be next working day and they will keep me informed.
So I asked so will I get it tomorrow?
Only if they get it today if not if they get it tomorrow it will be friday, if they get it friday it will be delivered next working day, Monday.
Courier has messaged to state that the item has not been recieved from the merchant. Therefore will not be delivered.
You get the drift.
Cancelled full order with Wayfair.co.uk
Was informed that it will take anything from 3 to 5 working days for a refund.
I will never touch this company again, if anyone is thinking of using them DON'T they lie through their teeth and once they have your money they do not care about customers.
Their advertising in in many cases false.
I have just been informed by Wayfair that they will not cancel my order as they have rescheduled delivery for the 27th September.
When I said they were still taking orders claiming next day delivery I was told that once customers have paid they will be informed of the delay in despatch.
PLEASE NOTE: ONCE CUSTOMERS HAVE PAID THEY WILL BE INFORMED OF THE DELAY IN DESPATCH.
So they get your money then hold on to it.
DO NOT DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY
Appalling experience with Wayfair UK: Delayed delivery, incorrect weight, and poor customer service. Would not recommend!
Yo, just wanna share my thoughts about Wayfair UK. Honestly, my experience with them has been the worst. Like, straight up the worst. I ordered a Twin Wooden Loveseat by Woodhaven for my parents way back in May, my ma has been wanting one of these for years, and I was told I'd get my delivery by June 4th. I was using AddressPal service by An Post, but their max weight is 20kg, and the product description on Wayfair stated it was 17kg, so I was good. But then, nothing happened on June 4th. I waited till the 6th, rang up customer service and was told I'd get an email the next day. Lo and behold, on June 11th, I finally got an email saying it was located and I should receive a text that day for delivery, but I got nothing. I sent an email on the 13th of June to inquire, and they replied that delivery solutions would be in touch. It wasn't until June 14th at 3:35 PM that I finally received an email saying it would be delivered by June 24th. Then, at 3:49 PM on June 14th, Wayfair sent me another email saying they couldn't locate my order but would contact the warehouse to figure out what was happening. I was so done with this back and forth. I messaged them on the 18th to ask what's going on and finally got an email on the 19th saying delivery would take place on the 24th. But then on the 25th, AddressPal sent me an email saying delivery was refused due to excess weight of the product, declaring that it weighed 35.5kg. That's a massive difference compared to what Wayfair said! I emailed them the evidence on the same day and received an email on the 26th saying that the weight was indeed wrong and asked if I could arrange for alternative delivery service. I replied that this wasn't my fault and that Wayfair should be the ones organizing a new delivery service. But then on the 27th, I got no response, so I emailed them again and officially logged a complaint, stating everything I had experienced with Wayfair so far and insisting on a call from a manager instead of just a refund. On the 28th, I finally received an email saying that my order was canceled and a refund was on its way. No email and no call. Dealing with Wayfair was absolutely appalling, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!
Wayfair UK: A Nightmare Service From Hell - My Worst Experience Yet
I recently ordered a sofa from Wayfair UK and had no issues. In fact, the process was so seamless that I decided to use the website again. However, my second experience with Wayfair UK has been nothing short of a nightmare.
I spent over ?500 on a smart coffee table during the pandemic. I understand that there may be delays due to Covid-19, but what I experienced was beyond frustrating.
I was supposed to receive my table on May 1st, but it never arrived. There was no communication from the company, so I had to chase the order myself. This happened again and again, with over ten rescheduled delivery dates. I had to call Wayfair over 15 times to get any sort of information.
To make matters worse, I only received half of my order in the post. The item was broken in various places, which was extremely disappointing given the high cost of the table. Despite ringing the company to complain, I was given different delivery dates that never came to fruition.
After escalating the issue to a manager named Jacintha, I was assured that my table would be delivered on a specific date. However, I was given multiple conflicting delivery dates afterwards.
The service I received from Wayfair UK was terrible, and Jacintha showed no empathy towards my situation. The stress and anger this experience caused me is indescribable, and I would never order from Wayfair UK again. The false advertising on their website only adds insult to injury. This experience was truly a service from hell.
Disappointing experience with Wayfair UK's Harriet Bee Pranav mid sleeper - missing box, poor customer service, and overpriced products
I just bought the Harriet Bee Pranav mid sleeper for ?499 from Wayfair UK, and boy was it an experience! They said it would be delivered on a certain day but tried to deliver it sooner, which was a problem because I wasn't home. I had to reschedule it when I could be there, and on the agreed date, the delivery guys brought it upstairs to the room I wanted it in. I thought it was all good at that point, but then I saw the packaging said boxes 1 and 2 of 3! I realized I was missing a box, which was later confirmed as damaged and returned to the warehouse.
They told me it would be available in January, and I would have to store the two huge boxes until then, leaving me without a bed! I had already taken annual leave the first time and didn't want to waste more. They offered me a refund and collection of the two boxes, but I still had to take another day off to get the missing part delivered, or wait until January.
When I asked for a discount for my inconvenience, they just refunded my money and told me to dispose of the boxes myself! I found this really frustrating and stressful, as I had to break my back getting rid of them! Wayfair's customer service was just all over the place, offering solutions but not waiting for me to confirm before refunding my money and leaving me with the two-thirds of a bed I couldn't use.
To add insult to injury, I later found out that Wayfair rebrands their products, so it's hard to compare prices. Other companies sell identical products, like the Rocco bed, which is actually cheaper than Wayfair's Pranav! I found a better deal elsewhere, ordered from a different company for ?130 less, and it's coming next week.
I would have given Wayfair a second chance if they had just called me to apologize and tell me about the damaged box before sending it incomplete. If they had let me know they were on the case to get a replacement, I might have waited or accepted the refund and collection option. But they didn't communicate properly, leaving me with frustration, stress, and disappointment. I don't think they deserve the 1.6 stars on other review sites, and I wish I had known about other options before buying from Wayfair.
Terrible Experience with Wayfair: Ruined Christmas Gift and No Compensation Offered
Don't bother with Wayfair, they're terrible! I ordered a bed as a Christmas present for my son and was promised I could track delivery to make sure it arrived after he was out for the day. Delivery was scheduled for the 3rd of December, so I made sure my son would be gone all day. However, on the 2nd of December, my son answered the door to a Wayfair delivery guy who loudly announced that his bed had arrived. Can you believe it? There goes my son's surprise gift and my hard-earned savings down the drain. I called Wayfair and they acted like it wasn't a big deal, even though I explained that I couldn't afford any other Christmas gifts. They said they wouldn't compensate me in any way and gave me a 10% discount on a future order, which was totally useless to me since I had no more money to spend on Christmas gifts.
I'm so angry and disappointed in Wayfair. Their delivery dates are just estimates, and they don't seem to care that their failure to deliver on time has ruined the surprise I had planned for my son. It's not like other companies can't manage to get their deliveries right. If Wayfair can't handle a simple online order, then they shouldn't be in the business at all. They've taken all my Christmas money, and now I have nothing left to spend on gifts. They won't even take responsibility for their mistake or offer any kind of compensation.
I'm now warning everyone I know to steer clear of Wayfair. If this review helps even one person avoid the same disappointment and financial loss that I've experienced, then it will be worth it. I don't expect Wayfair to care or take any action to improve their policies or services, but I hope that at least some people will be spared the same disappointment I've suffered.
Wayfair UK Complaints 10
Terrible Experience with Wayfair UK - Avoid at All Costs!
I gotta say, my recent experience with Wayfair UK was not great at all. In fact, I'd go so far as to say they're utterly incompetent! I mean, seriously, if you're thinking of ordering from them, I'd suggest you avoid it if you can.
So here's what happened. About a month ago, I placed an order for some artwork, with delivery confirmed for the 19th December. But as that day came and went, I didn't hear anything from them. So I decided to chase it up, and boy was that an ordeal! I got all sorts of standard responses, with promises of updates that never arrived. I was passed between different people and departments, and let me tell you, it was a mess!
At one point, one of them even told me that if they couldn't locate the order, "a replacement will be ordered for you once this investigation has been completed, at no additional cost to yourself"! That was something, at least, but it still didn't solve my problem.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I finally received an email from them today (with an apology, of course), saying that they had cancelled the order because they didn't have the artwork in stock anymore. And they said they'd refund my money within five days.
Well, let me tell you, I was furious! I mean, I'd wasted so much time dealing with these clowns and their totally ineffective customer service. Now I've just got to wait and see if they're even capable of processing my refund on time.
All in all, I'd say that my experience with Wayfair UK was abysmal. If you're looking for an easy and stress-free shopping experience, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.
Disappointing Quality and Dishonest Delivery: A Wayfair UK Chest of Drawers Review
Not gonna lie, my experience with Wayfair UK was pretty awful. I was in the market for a chest of drawers and thought I found a good deal with their sales price for a 5 draw tallboy chest of drawers at ?159. But man, was I disappointed with the quality of this thing. I mean, for 40 quid I wouldn't have expected much, but for this price, I was expecting something much better.
First off, the runners and inner parts of drawers were filled with splints and debris. The body itself had minor faults like scratches and damages all over it. To make matters worse, the screws used to assemble it broke the wood because it was extremely soft and made of poor quality wood in the first place. And get this: even though it's advertised as being made of solid wood, certain parts, like the central piece of the chest top, were actually just plywood. What a rip off!
But that's not even the worst part. The carrier was supposed to bring the item to my fourth floor flat, but instead, they just dumped it on the ground floor landing of my building and called it a day. The audacity of them even claiming that I received it at my door and signed for it when that clearly didn't happen is beyond me.
Suffice it to say, I won't be purchasing anything from Wayfair again. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else for your furniture needs.
Avoid Wayfair UK: Terrible Customer Service, Refused Cancellation & Non-Compliance with Distance Selling Regulations
My experience with Wayfair UK has been terrible. Starting from their customer service, which was inadequate, to their lack of response, I found it difficult to contact them other than waiting on the phone to speak with an inexperienced customer service representative. I had ordered five items from three different vendors and only received one of the three. This one item did not meet the required standards of quality despite the positive reviews. Consequently, I attempted to cancel my other orders, but they refused since the items had already been dispatched. This is not legal as per distance selling since I am entitled to cancel any order within 14 days of the purchase.
Later on, I discovered that my remaining items had not yet been dispatched, and I am still awaiting my order. Unfortunately, customer service offered little to no help when I asked about it. I had also requested to return my initial delivery, and they denied it due to the global pandemic. Isn't that against legal requirements? Honestly, I advise everyone to AVOID this company at all costs. They are not trustworthy and offer nothing but difficulties and stress. If it were possible, I would give them zero stars.

Shocking Experience with Wayfair UK: False Advertising and Poor Customer Service
Oh boy, where do I begin? My experience with Wayfair UK was nothing short of shocking. I had bought the globe whiskey cabinet as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and let's just say, it did not go well. Not a single one of his whiskey bottles fit in the cabinet. We were aware that different whiskey bottles have different shapes, but we didn't think it would be this bad. To our dismay, not even a wine bottle fit in it. So, we went on the Wayfair UK website to check the pictures and lo and behold, they had a picture of a wine bottle and a few spirit bottles that fit in the cabinet. False advertising, anyone?
It didn't end there. To make matters worse, the cabinet we received was also faulty, so we couldn't even put it together. We contacted customer service, hoping for a quick resolution, but all they did was disappoint us even further. They told us to return the faulty cabinet at a cost of £5 (we had already paid £79.99 for the product). We told them that we didn't want a refund, but a replacement instead, with the guarantee that it would fit a standard bottle. To our surprise, the customer service representative informed us that all Wayfair UK products are the same, and therefore, the cabinet we received was the one they sell. What a load of baloney!
We were left with no choice but to return the cabinet and lose another £5. We were extremely disappointed with the way the situation was handled. It seemed like Wayfair UK couldn't care less about their customers and their concerns. This is not how a reputable company should behave.
As a first-time customer, this experience certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. Needless to say, I will never be ordering from Wayfair UK again. Their false advertising and lack of concern for their customers is simply unacceptable. Shame on you, Wayfair UK!
Disappointing Delivery and Customer Service from Wayfair UK: A Personal Review
I gotta be honest with you, Wayfair UK has been a bit of a letdown lately. I've had some pretty frustrating experiences with them and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same thing.
One time, I ordered a corner sofa and boy was I disappointed when it was delivered. The quality was terrible, it was super uncomfortable and it felt like it was going to fall apart at any moment. Needless to say, I asked for a refund after only 2 months.
But wait, there's more! Recently, I ordered a computer desk and only part of it was delivered. That was 6 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for the missing parts to be shipped from Poland. Ain't that a kick in the teeth? To top it off, there's no easy way to get in touch with a manager or make a complaint. I keep getting referred to a "delivery investigation team" but they keep giving me different information and dates.
Honestly, the Wayfair website is pretty misleading when it comes to delivery dates. And don't even get me started on their delivery service... it's pretty poor to say the least. This order has been delayed at least twice and I keep getting promised new dates of delivery which keep getting delayed again and again. I wouldn't risk buying anything big from Wayfair unless you're ready for the potential headache.
Long story short, I won't be buying from Wayfair again anytime soon. There are just too many issues with their delivery and customer service.
Don't Order Furniture from Wayfair UK during COVID: A Frustrating Experience
Yo, let me tell you about Wayfair UK (wayfair.co.uk). If you're thinking about ordering furniture from them during COVID, think again, my friend.
They straight up won't deliver that furniture to your home. And they don't tell you until the dang thing arrives and you're screwed.
And if you live in a building like me, forget about it. Very heavy, large items won't make it up to your apartment. You'll be standing there like a fool, trying to figure out how to get that furniture up several flights of stairs.
It's like they just leave your heavy furniture at the end of the road and call it a day. So dang ridiculous.
And they don't even have the decency to tell you this before you place your order. Like, seriously? If I knew this was the gig, I wouldn't have ordered anything from them in the first place.
And don't even get me started on their excuse of convenience. It's not like they're the only ones delivering during COVID. And yet they wanna put the blame on their delivery agents, acting like it's not their problem to manage or communicate this stuff beforehand. SMH.
One more thing: my building is totally chill. It's managed, the hallways are wide and cleaned daily, and everyone wears masks. And still, Wayfair can't get their act together and deliver the dang furniture to my door. Excuse me, what now?
So yeah, long story short: don't waste your time or money with Wayfair UK during COVID. It's just not worth it, homie.
The Horrendous Experience with Wayfair UK Customer Service: A Warning
I recently had an experience with Wayfair UK that I would describe as the worst I've ever had. On December 20th, 2021, I placed an order for a nightstand and a bed. Since the second nightstand was not available at the time of the first order, I placed that order separately on January 6th, 2021. I was expecting all of the items to be delivered within days, but unfortunately this was not the case.
I experienced a significant lack of communication from Wayfair UK throughout this process, and as a result I started to receive many emails from DHL regarding the delivery of my first nightstand. I received around 10-15 emails in total, all informing me that the delivery was aimed for a specific date. Finally, the parcel was delivered roughly 10 days ago. However, yesterday it was collected back for a refund, which will take 3-5 working days to process. (Weekend days not included.)
My bed did arrive, but unfortunately it was delivered with a delay of a couple of weeks. As for the second nightstand, which I ordered on January 6th, 2021, it was only just delivered to DHL today. I have no idea when it will actually be delivered to me, as it is now being collected for a return at an unknown point in the future. Despite my calls and confirmation received from customer service 10 days ago that this would be cancelled (and not delivered), I was still faced with the delivery of an item I didn't want or need.
Throughout this entire process, my frustration and disgust only grew. I received an absolute tone of emails and calls from both Wayfair UK and DHL, and I can't even express how deeply disturbed and upset I am by the lack of communication and customer service I received. If I can give you one piece of advice, it's to think twice before ordering from Wayfair UK. Save yourself the hassle.
Disappointing Experience: My Review of Wayfair UK's Shed Purchase and Delivery
Ordered a shed from Wayfair UK recently and gotta say, it was a universally bad experience. The price was kinda high, but I thought it would be worth it since I was gonna be getting a quality product. Boy, was I wrong! Firstly, I had to wait a whopping three whole months for my delivery. In this day and age, who has that kind of time? Secondly, their communication skills are pretty questionable. I think they outsource their customer service or something 'cause every time I e-mailed them, it took forever to get a reply and even when I did, it was just a copied and pasted response that didn't actually answer my questions.
So, finally, when my shed did arrive, it was delivered by a completely different courier than the one Wayfair told me would be handling this. I had no proper confirmation of the delivery date either. I was at work when the courier called and said he was at my house with a shed and I was like, "What the heck?!". And to top it all off, I found the quality of the product to be mediocre at best. The screws on the outer cladding of the shed have missed the batten they are supposed to go into and the workmanship is pretty shoddy. I tried to complain to Wayfair about this, but they just told me to f-off basically.
Honestly, if you're thinking of buying anything from Wayfair, I would advise against it. You can definitely find similar items from somewhere else and not have to deal with any of the problems that come with Wayfair. Going forward, I'll definitely only consider them as a last resort.
Horrible Experience with Wayfair UK: Missing Screws & Terrible Customer Service
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Wayfair UK. I ordered a bed back in May, and let me tell you, it's been quite the saga.
So, the bed finally arrived on May 27th. But the packaging was an absolute disaster. Like, seriously, it looked like someone had ripped it open, tried to tape it back together, and then gave up halfway through. And to make things worse, as we were carrying the box up to our flat, it basically just fell apart. Screws, pieces, you name it - it was all over the place. We spent ages picking everything up and carrying it up piece by piece.
But then, when we tried to assemble the bed, we discovered that a whole pack of screws was missing. And I don't just mean one or two screws - I mean ALL of the screws of that type. How does that even happen?!
So, we got in touch with Wayfair to ask for replacement screws. But nope, they wouldn't send them. Apparently, the supplier can't send screws alone, and we have to wait for a whole new bed to be delivered. And get this - they can't even do that until July. Seriously, Wayfair? That's a whole month away! And on top of that, because the packaging was so destroyed, we can't even send the bed back until we get a replacement one.
I feel like Wayfair has just completely failed us here. We paid good money for this bed, and they can't even provide all the pieces we need to put it together. And they're not interested in doing anything to make up for it either - no compensation, no decent service, nothing.
Honestly, if you're thinking of buying from Wayfair, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for reviews. Trustpilot seems to be super biased compared to other review sites.
Disappointing Experience with Wayfair UK: Incomplete Order and Poor Customer Service
So, I recently bought some furniture from Wayfair UK. I was pretty excited because they have such a wide variety of products that you can choose from. However, I must say that I am quite disappointed with my experience with them. This is my first time shopping with them and it's not been great.
I placed my order on 2nd June 2021, paying the full amount. However, it's been over six weeks and I have only received parts of my order. I contacted Wayfair multiple times expressing my frustration, confusion and annoyance, but all I have received are apologies and being asked to wait even longer.
It's been a complete shambles from start to finish. I even received an email from Wayfair stating that the fault was on their end, yet I am the one being given only two options. I can either keep what I have received so far with a 15% discount off my original order or a credit note, or option two, accept a full refund and return the little bit of my order that I have received. This is unacceptable and I have been patient enough with them.
I have only asked for the order I made to be fulfilled properly, but obviously, it seems like it's impossible. Even after requesting the situation be escalated to management, I was given some form of contact within 24 hours, which, till date, I haven't received. It's disheartening and a complete sham.
It's frustrating how the company is handling this situation, leaving it to me to contact them tomorrow or maybe even Trading Standards. In conclusion, this experience has really dampened my view of Wayfair and I wouldn't recommend them based on my experience so far.
