West Gate are predators deceptive practices
I’m writing this to warn others about my experience. I purchased a timeshare with WEST GATE in Las Vegas about a year ago while under the influence of alcohol and marijuana during their sales presentation. I was pressured into signing a contract I didn’t fully understand while impaired, and I’ve since realized the promises made during the pitch were misleading or not honored in the contract.
Since then, I’ve filed complaints with the CFPB and BBB, but WEST GATE has refused to release me from the contract or acknowledge the unethical conditions under which it was signed.
Their tactics feel predatory, especially toward vulnerable tourists who are not in a proper state of mind to make a financial decision of this size. I’ve also submitted a formal letter and will continue to pursue cancellation through legal channels and the Nevada Attorney General.
If you’re considering doing business with them, please read everything carefully and avoid making any decisions under pressure or while intoxicated. This company took advantage of me, and I don’t want others to go through the same experience.
Beware of scam... Do not purchase or attend presentation!
The only praise I will give is to the people working at the resorts making sure your customer experience in your stay is exceptional. I have nothing bad to say about the 3 properties we stayed at over the year. But now having read some reviews I feel lucky that I did have good resort experiences.
DO NOT ATTEND THEIR SALES PITCH!
This is to formally tell WESTGATE we will NO LONGER be making anymore payments to your scam. It has been one year and we have been lied to one too many times by your sales people. We initially bought in March 2024 in Vegas only to go to Orlando in October 2024 for them to convince us that Orlando was a better location for our membership. Moving forward to March 2025 while we were back in Vegas, we were then told that was incorrect and we never should have moved our ownership to Orlando. WOW... and if we wanted to fix it, it was going to cost us thousands more. It is all lies, you have fleeced us of thousands of dollars, so unless you plan to do right by us and give us MOST of our money back, as we have stayed at 3 different Westgate facilities in the last year, but not to the tune of the money we gave you. We trusted you and your sales people fed us half truths and lies. There isn't anything you can do for us from this day forward unless there is compensation. We will share our HORRIBLE experience about Westgate to everyone we know or don't know. I will post on a consistent basis too be sure my review can be seen by as many as possible. Very sad as the people that work at the resorts are the ONLY people who seem to care or at least have been trained well in how to give good customer service as we have enjoyed our stays. From the Sales Management upwards, you are nothing but snakes and scam artists and you have it down to a science. I spent almost 20 years working onboard ships in the cruise industry and at times I thought our corporate office was sleezy, but you take the cake. I will be sure the hundred thousands of people I have stayed in touch with over my 20 years will know this horrible experience. So unless you want to refund us the thousands of dollars we gave you this last year. Please do not reach out to us, unless you plan to give us some money back.
Recommendation: AVOID !!!
Beware of westgate resorts’ deceptive practices
My experience with Westgate Resorts was extremely negative. They lured my family and me into a sales presentation with promises of a free lunch, a week-long hotel stay, and discounts on attractions. None of these promises were fulfilled.
Instead, we endured over seven hours of high-pressure sales tactics. The representatives misrepresented the timeshare as a lifetime discount program with investment potential and refused to let us properly review the contract. They pressured us to sign, even as my young children (ages 5, 5, and 7) were left hungry and distressed.
Afterward, I discovered that the supposed benefits were completely false, and I have lost $3,000 and on the top now facing over $30,000 in costs for a product that provides no value. Westgate Resorts’ practices are unethical, predatory, and exploitative.
Recommendation: I strongly advise others to avoid Westgate Resorts. Their tactics violate consumer trust and Florida laws. Do your research and steer clear of this company.
Formal Complaint Against Westgate Resorts
Subject: Deceptive Sales Practices and Misrepresentation
To Whom It May Concern,
I am filing this complaint to address the unethical and deceptive practices I experienced at Westgate Resorts on September 17, 2023, during a timeshare sales presentation at their Orlando location (6145 Carrier Drive, Orlando, FL).
Summary of the Incident:
My family and I were invited to attend a sales presentation with promises of:
• A free, high-quality lunch.
• A week-long hotel stay at our choice of location.
• Discounts (50–70%) for Orlando attractions.
None of these promises were fulfilled. Instead, we endured over seven hours of relentless high-pressure sales tactics. The representatives misrepresented the timeshare product as a lifetime discount program with investment potential, claiming benefits such as:
• 70% off hotels and cruises worldwide.
• Guaranteed resale value and potential rental income.
When I requested time to review the contract, I was denied. I was pressured to sign electronically without seeing the full terms, under the threat that the offer would expire.
Key Issues:
1. Misrepresentation of the Product:
• The benefits and discounts described during the presentation were false. After signing, I discovered that none of the promised discounts existed.
2. High-Pressure and Coercive Sales Tactics:
• My family, including three young children (ages 5, 5, and 7), was subjected to distressing conditions. The promised meal was not provided, and there were no breaks for food or rest during the extended presentation.
3. Violation of Consumer Protection Laws:
• Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA): Prohibits deceptive practices and misrepresentation.
• Florida Vacation Plan and Timesharing Act (Chapter 721): Requires transparency and disclosure of timeshare terms, which were obscured in this case.
4. Financial Harm:
• I have paid $3,000 upfront, with over $30,000 in additional costs expected over the next decade for a product that does not deliver the value.
Requested Resolution:
I request the following:
1. Contract Cancellation: Full termination of the timeshare agreement without penalties.
2. Refund: Reimbursement of all payments made to date.
3. Investigation: A thorough inquiry into Westgate Resorts’ sales practices to prevent further harm to consumers.
I have documentation to support my claims, including correspondence, records of payments, and evidence of misrepresentation. I am happy to provide these upon request.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
A Personal Perspective on Central Florida Investments, Inc
As someone who has experienced the services of Central Florida Investments, Inc., I must share my honest opinion. My encounter with this company left me deeply disappointed. The promises made were far from reality, and the overall experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The aggressive sales tactics, false claims, and lack of transparency have left a lasting negative impression. I urge anyone considering engaging with Central Florida Investments, Inc. to proceed with extreme caution and thorough research before making any commitments.

event package sold by westgate
event package was sold to me; and I referred non owner extended family members; the original call told me they could get the same exact deal; and I gave wife and husbands phone numbers. So they got charged double so I called to see why and if their price could be reduced or compensated because I was told they were going to get the same deal.
Today, told they could not even qualify for the package? and for me to tell them to cancel their reservation? and also said I did not qualify and my package was going to be cancelled.
Desired outcome: Fix this please;

You were let down by Westgate Resorts. The conduct of the personnel is not only unprofessional but also discriminatory. Call up their corporate offices at once and narrate what happened to you giving every bit of detail concerning the ill treatment provided to you. Ask them to investigate this matter exhaustively and take appropriate measures against the implicated staff members. Make sure that your experience is shared immediately in various platforms so that these people can get answerable for their acts. They did not understand anything about hospitality.
Unable to refund or reprint $300 worth of tickets. Super rudeeeeeee
Went on vacation. Purchased dinner show tickets through westgate resort. Was handed a receipt and they called and made my reservation under my name and phone number. I was NEVER TOLD the receipt was needed to get into my reservation, therefore I noticed I lost my receipt in the pouring rain when I was looking back to see the time of the show for the next day. I called the dinner show to confirm my reservation and they stated make sure I have my printed receipt and told me to go back to westgate. So, The next day I went back to get a receipt re-printed with my bank records showing I purchased $300 dinner show with them. THE absolute RUDESTTTTT LADY EVER basically told me oh well They got my money and I'm out of luck. They would not refund or reprint my "receipt/Voucher" they called it. We could not go to the Pirate Voyage show which we paid for. My husband and I went to the main office in Gatlinburg, TN. Where they told us oh well, we got your money, nothing we can do. They would NOT re-print nor would they refund us the money. So, I was unable to attend the show I paid for, and I was unable to get a refund. They basically STOLE $300 from my family and I on vacation.
Claimed loss: $300
Desired outcome: Refund and apology

Took my money, $300, would not re-print my receipt or refund me. NEVER EVER buy dinner show tickets on vacation with them, much less do ANY BUSINESS WITH them. The way that their employees in the "gift" section speak to customers is absolutely unacceptable.

Employee
Me and my spouse stayed at the Westgate Orlando universal resort 1-27-24 to 1-29-24 and were invited to a timeshare meeting on our last day. Everything went great the employee George was respectful and kind. When we declined to purchased he was understanding. Then Monica showed up and began to hassle us to purchase. We talked about it and told her now is not the best time. She then began to hassle us more and wanted us to explain our private finical situation to her and why we are not purchasing. She then called us poor by making sly comments like “you can’t” even afford $75, who invited you here”,”how did you get into this meeting” and“how are you even allowed to stay here at the resort” after those comments we asked if we could leave because we felt so disrespected. She signed the paper so aggressive and then said here and just walked off like we were wasting her time. They invited us here and to be treated like that. We are still talking about how great everything was and then she ruined our stay there. We paid to be there and she talked to us like we have no right to even be on the property because we were poor. I don’t know if we could come back after that.

Time share deceptive practices
RE: Inaccurate Reporting of Account- Account Dispute Letter
Attn: Kamila Zupo
Westgate Resorts
8680 Commodity Circle
Orlando FL 32819
Oh: [protected]
#[protected]
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is a notice of dispute for the reporting of the afore-mentioned account. I entered into a timeshare agreement back in February of 2019. The timeshare firm was completely unscrupulous and dishonest throughout the process. They used deceptive practices to get us to enter the timeshare and continued to just mislead us time and time again.
Issues:
1. They said they would buy back the timeshare at any point if we wanted to sell it. “Buy it back” was not one of the 4 options from which to choose.
2. We were members of their cruise travel program. We booked a cruise and was supposed to get special pricing since we were members. We ended up paying $5,000 which was the full price and AFTER THE FACT were told we had to john another type of membership to get the credit which was another statement that was simply not true and not disclosed to us.
3. We were told with the type of membership we were getting, there were no block out dates which was ANOTHER misrepresentation we had to deal with.
4. Our young (Over 21) were never able to take advantage of the membership without us being there and that is not what we were told in the meeting.
5. It was always one excuse or problem after another, and we were never actually able to use the membership at all. After luring us in, they kept stating we were in the “wrong” category and needed to “upgrade“ each membership we were in to gain full benefits. Always making a consistent effort to get more money!
The firm was completely dishonest and basically said whatever they needed to say to manipulate us into various package scenarios. I complained and they advised they said I was allowed to “voluntarily relinquish the property”. “With this, you will no longer be a Westgate owner, your account will be closed, and we will submit an update to the credit bureaus, so it shows as a closed account. This stops any further reporting. It can take 30-90 days for the credit bureaus to update your credit.” (Kamila Zupo) . They NEVER stated that the documentation was known as a “deed in lieu of foreclosure”! The pattern of lies is disturbing. Why would I, as a person that had a 751 score and now it is 681, want to intentionally destroy their credit? I am extremely liquid and would not have made the same choice if I were dealing with an honest firm. I need them to remove the entire account from my credit. I am also filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General due to the deceptive sales practices of Westgate Resorts.
Sincerely,
Leon Watson
Complainant
Desired outcome: I want the negative credit rating and the account removed from my account expeditouusly.

Time share
On December 11th, 2022, I entered into a contract for a Time Share.
The contract was signed against my will, and I was afraid of what would happen if I didn’t sign.
J and I met with the representative that day on December 11, 2022. I cannot recall his name at the moment and do not have all of the documents to lookup that information. During this time the Representative noticed that something was wrong with J as he kept looking all around the room like everyone was out to get him. He was in a state of Psychosis at the time and really wasn’t aware of what was really going on at the time.
The Representative knew there was something wrong with J because he asked him if he was okay. J replied and said that he wasn’t okay and J inquired as to who the man was that was standing behind him. The Representative stated that the man standing behind J was the Representative’s manager. J stated that he didn’t want to be around people as he particularly felt threatened by the Representative’s Manager behind him. He thought that people were trying to kill him at the time. Not only was J on drugs but he was being treated for Mental Health problems especially during that time.
J mental capacity also is not age appropriate as he does not fully understand how life works yet being that he was institutionalized for most of his life.
For example, when he neglected to put gas in the car we ran out of gas. We had to walk to go get gas ad he left the flashers on, and the battery died by the time the gas was able to be put in. The police came and told him that a tow be a few dollars. The tow came and they said it would be 165. This guy really gave the tow truck driver $2 dollars and with a straight face he turned back to the wheel and was about to drive off. The tow truck driver asked him if he was slow. He thought because the police officer said it would only be a few dollars he thought that the total was one dollar and sixty-five cents not one hundred and sixty-five dollars. The tow truck driver told him that he must be stupid. The police would not let us leave with the car because of this. Jashaad said to the police officer and told him that he said it was only going to be a few dollars. The police officer responded and said that it was a figure of speech, and he didn’t literally mean just a few dollars.
I am asking that due to duress on my part and lack of mental capacity on his part that this contract be null and void and that the deposit of $500 that was originally stolen from someone be refunded so I can also pay back the person that it was stolen from.
If we can escalate this issue I would really appreciate it.
Furthermore, I have recently had my spleen removed due to domestic violence in this relationship. But, he literally was having paranoid delusions at the time and thought that I was trying to kill him and punched me in the ribs just one time. And with just one hit I begged him to take me to the hospital and he said we had to put air in our tires first. I told him I was internally bleeding but he didn’t believe me. It was either that or I had broken ribs poking my organs. We finally made it to the hospital, and I was throwing up and peed on myself. They gave me either an MRI or Catscan and found out that I was internally bleeding and that my spleen was damaged. They said that my spleen looked like I was in a high-speed car accident. They transported me to another hospital and had to give me emergency surgery. They slit my jugular vein and I had to receive 2 blood transfusions and they had to remove my spleen and cut open my whole abdomen. I was in the ICU and then the trauma unit after this. Also, my children’s father who I was with for 20 years since I was 16 had just died and his mother died for refusing a blood transfusion. I always thought that I could be as courageous, but I failed. Now I don’t know whose blood flows through my veins but am really upset about all of this. But I had to take the transfusions otherwise I would have died and my kids just lost one parent. I couldn’t have them losing two parents. I wouldn’t have had enough time to even say goodbye, so I had no choice as to take the blood transfusion.
I am no longer with him and am asking to be removed from this contract. It was never my intent to pay this, and I get free vacations anyway from my family so it would have never made sense for me to sign up for this. But, after all of this I feel like I do not want to ever go on vacation again and leave home again. I have lost everything traveling the country including my spleen. I don’t feel safe anymore and am really depressed but am in therapy.
If someone can please help me, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you so much in advance for your kind help, support, and cooperation during these difficult times.
Sincerely,
C

On 10-31-23 at around 5 pm we were introduced to the general manager to wrap up a time share pitch. We had already declined all offers and by that time more than ready to go. The general manager kept pushing and pushing using my name repeatedly trying to intimidate me into saying yes. I informed him that we were done I also informed him that I have PTSD and I was no longer ok he wouldn't just let us leave. My husband walked me outside anyway but was followed so we wouldn't leave. We were told it would take 90 min we were stuck there for 4 hours. For someone with PTSD that was the equivalent of being held hostage and my mental health took a hard hit. I sincerely hope that is not the way you treat veterans and people with disabilities.
Claimed loss: 4 hours of my time and extensive damage to my mental health
Desired outcome: Do better nobody should have to spend their vacation in mental crisis due to unprofessional treatment by staff
Westgate Resorts Time Resort Manager Jill, Myrtle Beach SC
Very Offensive Timeshare Manager staff Jill was verbally assaulting tourists, bombarded by timeshare signups. They are dishonest form the moment you walk in. Seriously, calling their guests names and arguing with tourists and making a scene.
Such misleading practices and subpar hospitality should not go unnoticed, and I genuinely hope that corrective actions are taken against this establishment and involved staff in the near future. Staff also lie about the incentives offered and do not give what they promise at the beginning.
This establishment seems to prioritize its timeshare sales agenda over genuine hospitality, often at the expense of truthfulness. Travelers seeking a great vacation experience might want to look elsewhere to ensure they get the vacation they truly deserve. One last thing, watch out for the surprise fees that may show up on your credit card.
TLDR BELOW (THE JUICY DETAILS)
After a 3-4 hour tour (promised to be 90 minutes) and despite repeatedly expressing our disinterest in purchasing the timeshare, the persistence of the Timeshare Manager, Jill (who, I believe, mentioned her last name as Kimble), became increasingly unsettling. What began as an assertive sales pitch quickly devolved into an aggressive and personal attack on me in front of the entire room of guests.
I attempted to convey my discomfort to Jill, mentioning my mental health challenges, which her demeanor and name-calling exacerbated. She called me "mean," accused me of lying, and hurled so many other derogatory names that I can't recall them all. Rather than showing understanding or compassion, she responded with more accusations, even claiming she had preemptively judged our purchasing intentions upon first sight, asserting she knew I wouldn't purchase a timeshare the moment she saw me.
Our situation became a public spectacle, with both Jill and I raising our voices and arguing aggressively, drawing the attention of everyone in the room. Another group present said they had a similar experience.
When I asked Jill for permission to leave, having fulfilled our end of the agreement, she responded vindictively. She continued to withhold our incentives claiming she can be here all day and deliberately engaged another group, all the while casting derisive smirks in our direction, clearly attempting to prolong our discomfort.
Such blatant disregard for potential clients' feelings and mental well-being is alarming and casts a shadow over the establishment.
Desired outcome: Immediate action taken against the Time Share Tour Manager in Myrtle Beach SC and an apology, and the incentives promised.

I would like to bring to your attention some issues we had with our recent stay, July 21 thru July 25th.
Originally I bought my package at Westgate Cocoa Beach. Unfortunately the dates I needed were not available and I settled for Westgate Lake Resort in Orlando because of the water park. I did not my due diligence and check the reviews; if I had maybe it would have been a different story.
We were given a room in the 600 bldg., when my son checked in around 5 pm and went to the room, the sheets in one of the rooms had blood stains and the AC was not working properly. He called the front desk and informed them of both issues. He received new sheets and they had an engineer looking into the AC situation. My son had called 3 times after check in and said they were working on it. When I arrived at 2:00 am the AC was still not working properly and supposedly the engineer left at 1:00 am. How could he leave and not correct the problem. We have 4 kids in the room; I asked to be transferred to another room or another hotel and they told me everything was booked. They just gave us a 200 credit. Our AC did not work properly for 3 days, we called several times without success; after the 4th day the AC was working properly. Then the sink in the master bathroom was clogged but that was fixed. When we went to shower there was no water pressure, had to call the front desk for assistance. Not to mentioned that at times our keys kept getting deactivated making it hard to go into our rooms at time, luckily at time there was always someone inside and we were able to open the door.
Needless to say, it was not a great experience.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response, apology or some sort of compensation. A free stay, something, etc..
Poor customer service (mistreatment of owner by salesperson)
I have owned Westgate for over 25 years. I use my week annually and whenever I am given the opportunity to participate in the presentation, I participate with no problem. Over the past years, I have never been treated the way I was treated by the salesman (Mr. Jimenez) on 8/1/2023. I felt mistreated, bullied, discriminated against and embarrassed. And I would like to explain in detail what happened in case someone can offer apologies on behalf of that gentleman. If you can call him a gentleman.7/29/2023 - 8pm I made a perfect check in. I am referred to the Hospitality area for the welcome package and very kindly attended by Vilma. Vilma offers me to participate in the presentation and tells me that my participation is important to know the status of my accounts, offers, upgrades, etc. She tells me that I must leave a $20 deposit (refundable) and that for my participation they will be giving me $100, $500 discount for cruises, stay, etc... all fantastic. The presentation is arranged for Tuesday, 8/1/2023 9am.8/1/2023 - 8:45am I arrive at the counter to confirm my arrival, there are 3 people available, I say Good morning, and no one answers. Ok. I wait for about 3 minutes while they settle in and talk to each other. A young man attends me, takes my information, tells me to wait in the lobby and that the waiting time could be between 15 min to 20 min. The salesman (Jimenez) arrived at 9:35am. He asked me if I was alone, I said yes. He asked me if I had participated in the presentation last year and I said yes. Then in a somewhat aggressive and irritating attitude he asks me why I am there again. I tell him that Vilma told me that it was necessary for me to participate every year. Mr. Jimenez with the same bad attitude told me that it was not necessary and that I could leave. Trying to keep my position, I told him that I was not going to leave because I had already taken the time to attend the presentation and that I had lost almost 1 hour of my time. The naughty man told me that I was only interested in the breakfast, in the gifts offered by Vilma and that I was going to waste more time in the presentation. He also mentioned that Vilma forces people to participate only for the money she will receive. She indicated that her parents taught her that time is more important than money among other aberrations. I stood my ground and indicated that I was staying for the presentation. In a very hostile manner, he directed me to breakfast (I only had an apple juice) and moved me to a table, where I had to wait for him, about 45 min. When he returned he said: Tell me, what do you want to hear from me? He started explaining nonsense for a minute or two and then left. After that came the manager Jeffrey and another young lady (Amarilys) both very nice and continued with the process. Mr. Jimenez did not want to continue and neither did I want him to continue with his inept presentation. When I explained what happened to Jeffrey and Amarilys they disappointingly indicated that this was his personality. Now I ask, is Westgate aware of the type of person they have as a salesman. A totally undesirable, abusive, inept, unscrupulous, low value, rude, disrespectful, etc. ... Would they rather get poor reviews for a bad apple? Would they rather lose sales to a disrespectful individual? With the security he speaks, I think his superiors disregard his actions. How far do I, as an owner, have to tolerate this type of mistreatment from an employee? As an owner, the least I demand is respect for myself, that someone can communicate with me and that action can be taken in this matter.

When I went to a presentation at the hotel I stayed at, I was presented with an opportunity to become a hotel owner. I flat out asked if it was a timeshare and was told. "NO". Pierre K. Gillenwaters explained to me that I would be a hotel owner and would be able to rent it out. I have tried reaching out to this company (including Pierre) over a dozen times because I was having trouble making any reservation. After finally speaking to someone. She had the nerve to ask me for another $1300 just to book my reservation. As I continued, speaking to the lady, I began to realize everything Pierre said was a lie. He told me it would pay for itself. He told me I was a hotel owner and would be able to book and rent at a discounted price being an owner. He also told me I could book at other hotels and get discounts because I was an affiliate. He never mentioned anything about all these fees and additional charges. Pierre did mention maintenance fees in order to maintain the property. He mentioned paying state property taxes for owning the property but that was it. Pierre told me I would be able to book other people's rooms as needed to make extra money. Pierre claimed, him and his team does it all the time. He also claimed that I would be on his team, and he would walk me through the process (which he didn't do) and make sure I get everything I need. Pierre gave me his number [protected] and told me I would be able to call anytime I have a problem. Needless to say, that didn't happen. Pierre pulled out a piece of paper that looked like a paystub and said, this is what me and my team made just last month. Which was a little over $4000. Pierre stated, as long as I'm able to book rooms, I can make money. Pierre stated, the more rooms I book, the more money I would make. He explained, I would make the difference in the amount I would pay at the discount rate to what I would charge my clients. Pierre claimed, it didn't matter how many days I stayed, I would be charged a flat rate of $150/stay (in network) meaning all Westgate resorts no matter how many days I stayed; $229 (outside of network) meaning other hotel in USA not Westgate and $499 (out of state) meaning London, Cancun etc. Pierre claimed that's how we make our money. By charging the customers however much we want only having to give up the $150, $229 or $499. Example, I could charge my customer $150/night for 7 nights equaling $1050 for the customer then I give up $150 from the $1050 and keeping the rest in the tune of $900. He also claimed, I could charge more if I chose, making even more money. Further explaining how I would have control over how much I would make. Which he then suggested, I could use to pay for my maintenance, taxes and monthly fees. He told me there was no limit to the number of rooms I could book. I could book however many days I wanted. Meanwhile, it wouldn't even let me put the days I wanted unless it was 7 days or more and even then, it did not have anything available for me to book. It kept saying, the days were not available. While in the presentation, I had explained to Pierre, that I book family vacations 2x a year with 20 or more guest each time.
Guess what! As I continued asking the lady question, she kept explaining; what I was told was not true and began explaining that it was indeed a timeshare and how the timeshare works. I expressed to her how I was completely lied to, and she sat on the phone and said nothing. I asked her for a number to file a complaint and she gave me an email, address and number.

Everything he promised was a lie. I was unable to do any of the things he said. Every reservation I tried to book was unavailable. I tried to book a year out, and nothing was available. Pierre claimed, I would never have problems booking because I would get first preference. It didn't give me first preference neither. It didn't give me any discounts as promised. It didn't do anything Pierre claimed it would do. On top of that, I then found out, it was definitely a timeshare after all. I told Pierre up front; I didn't want any timeshares. Although I repeatedly stated, I did not want a timeshare, he looked me and my face and lied time after time. Now I feel trapped, lied too, and betrayed by someone I thought I could trust. After all, he kept saying "us brothers have to stick together", "if I don't look out for you, who will". Meanwhile, it was MY BROTHER who was screwing me the whole time. Now, I'm sitting here wondering how Pierre could sit there and lie about every single detail of this transaction and get away with it, leaving me stuck with the bag. Leaving me stuck in this timeshare that I never, ever wanted and was very clear on that. If Pierre would have been up front and honest, I promise you I would not be in this situation. It's not ok to lie and trick people into things they don't want. I trusted Pierre to be honest. I don't believe a person, or a company should have to lie about their products unless they know what they are doing is wrong and illegal. If this is how you do business, I know for sure I don't want no parts of it. This makes it an even more reason for me to get out of this situation. I thought Pierre was selling me a business opportunity not a timeshare. This is highway robbery to its fullest. I would like to get out of this situation immediately. I do not want anything to do with this timeshare as I expressed to Pierre before. It is still early in the game, so I'm hoping we can both walk away from this with no problems or hard feelings. If you are freely willing to let me out of this situation, I will cut my lost and walk away. If not, I will have to move forward and find another way out. As for me and my husband Andre Branch, will no longer honor this betrayal you call a contract that was presented to us under lies and false pretense. Please get back to me and let me know how you would like to proceed.
Thanks Andre and Pauline - Have a blessed day!

Accommodations
We booked a specific type of cottage according to the website description and photos. I made 3 phone calls to make sure the accommodations were what was needed. The last call I made I was told that we could check in at 3 pm. When we arrived the lady at the front desk told me we could not check in. I explained that I called ahead and her reply was simply no one should have told me we could check in at 3. I was told that the room just needed to be inspected and I would get a text shortly. When 4 pm came and went I returned to the office and was told we could check in. When we got to the cottage it was not what we booked. It was not what was on the website and it was not really clean. I returned to the front office and showed the young man at the desk what was on the website and explained that I had called to make make sure I booked a cottage that would meet our needs. I was told they had a room but it would be an additional $480 for our 2 nights. At this point it was 5 pm and we had put our boat in a slip and we’re too far from anything else so we stayed. I was told that basic grilling tools were in the cottages but they were not. We called 3 times and waited more than 2 hours for a basic grill scrapper and thongs. We did not get get to fish that evening because it was so late after we were able to grill our dinner. Our cottage was not in the best of condition. In fact I took some pictures. When I checked out I explained our difficulties and showed the young lady the pictures of our cottage. For the rate we ended up having to pay the condition. Of our cottage was unacceptable. I was told to email what had happened and my pictures and someone would contact me. I emailed the information but no one has followed up. We live in Orlando and saw River Ranch on Fox 35. What we saw on TV was far from what we experienced. My main goal is hopefully keep another family from experiencing what we did. The whole experience is quite unfortunate. Being from Orlando we are close and it would have been nice to have a place fairly close to visit a couple times a year.
Desired outcome: Reimbursed for the significant additional cost we had to pay because the room was not what the website explained or showed or even what your employees stated over the phone.
the Imaginarium event on Westgate Resort parking lot
I am a long-time resident of Las Vegas, Single Mom with 2 teenagers, so whenever a new exhibit, show, or event comes to town I'm excited to go. I booked three tickets for the Imaginarium held in the parking lot of Westgate on Tuesday, June 22nd. We were told to be there at 7 pm. It was so bright out none of the lights were on yet. We walked around none of the advertised exhibits were there. There were broken-down displays, and at least 1/8 of the lights did not work. There were only portapotties. (NOT MENTIONED ON THE WEBSITE) It was dirty, disgusting, smelled bad and the tram going overhead made horrific noises. We left by 8:30. It was an absolute insult to anyone who went. My 15 n 17-year-Olds were so angry. I'm angry. For $66 THIS WAS AN OUT RIGHT SCAM. ALSO SHAME ON:
