I signed a contract in Sept 2020 with a 6-8 week promise that my 8 windows would arrive
I signed a contract in Sept 2020 with a 6-8 week promise that my 8 windows would arrive.
I feel like I've been given the run around. Why am I calling versus to window world calling and providing updates. This is not the proper way of doing business if you call yourself a reportable company..
Whenever i follow up, I've been told that someone will return my call. i received one call back in December and at that time i was told the same thing, manufacturer is backlogged due to Covid 19.
It is now February, 5months later when i contacted window world again on 2/18. i was told that someone would return my call.
If I can pay half of the required fee to the sales representation surely someone should be informing me on updates. i asked for my money back and was told that I signed a contract, but what good is a contract when you are not upholding it 6-8weeks are long gone. It is now 20weeks. When should I anticipate the delivery of my windows.
.
t took them six months after signing the contract to come and do the windows
t took them six months after signing the contract to come and do the windows. Then the contractor left pieces of glass in my child's crib. It took him three days to complete the work in the middle of winter. He took smoke breaks multiple times an hour. The contractor cracked my siding around each of the windows that were installed in my house. There was glue left all over the interior of my house from the laziness of the contractor. I've had to replace two doors because he wiped glue off on them. Then when I complained to window world nobody did anything about it. All they said was "well those things can happen when your installing windows." Worst company. Do not use. All they do is take your money and run. As you can see in the pictures they cracked my siding and then refused to fix it. There're excuse " the siding was recalled so they have no obligation to fix it." Even though they said that siding is known to crack they still installed it and said it's not they're responsibility to tell the customer issues with siding.
Great experience from the sales rep to the installers. Originally told windows may take 8 weeks to come in, they actually came in 4 weeks. Installers were prompt and on time, very professional, cleaned up their mess and left everything in decent order.
Paul *** was great to work with. I called window world, setup a day and time and Paul called before arrival to let me know he was on the way. He gave a great educational sales presentation and the best thing is I had pricing before he left.
Ordered 3 doors and 2 windows in June. Products ready in September, scheduled 1st appt in Oct. was called day before to r/s then called again to r/s a 3rd time only to have them r/s a 4th time but proceeded to call my husband a liar and that we were never scheduled for this Sat 11/20. We are now scheduled for a 5th time 2 weeks out with zero confidence they will make their commitment. Meanwhile they've had several '000's of our money.
Jamie *** is a fantastic salesman!
He was promt, very knowledgeable and had a fantastic personality!
He is the sunshine in your windows
I hope installation of window in 14 weeks goes as well
I've had windows and siding installed for several years
I've had windows and siding installed for several years... now I have a faulty window and siding keeps falling off in one spot above awning. I was told the siding keeps falling off because of excessive heat... WHAT... So they finally sent someone out to look at it. Then they ordered window and siding. I just got a call they needed to reschedule because of losing 2 employees...(I wonder why). So this is the third time they have rescheduled over the last six months. Then I asked them just to drop off upper window sash and siding I would have my handyman do it. They said they could not deliver for 2 weeks because no one would be in area... serious they are in Marietta and I am in Woodstock. This is only 1 issue of so many I have been dealing with. Customer Service has gone down hill over the past few years. Such rude people... please consider so many other solid companies out there before choosing WW... I think management needs to be locked in a room and repeatedly played their own commercials... What a joke.
Run far far away. The craftsmanship on the windows is aweful. Had them replaced 3 times in last 7 years. I am still waiting on replacements from April . Came once to measure for replacements, after 3 weeks I called after no one contacted me. They said they had no idea and will have to send some out to measure. 4 weeks later they come again and measure all 5 windows, waited 4 weeks for replacement. They show up with one window not even close to the right size. Now they have to send another person to measure. This one guy found the serial numbers and got ordered. They just called to cancel my install the day before. Have had this on the books for 8 weeks. Now it will be another month. My next call is to better get Harry and a lawyer.
On 3/15, I signed a $22,584 contract with Window World salesman Cameron and gave a $12,432 deposit to purchase/installed windows in my home. Cameron verbally and wrote on my contract that my order would be in shop 16 weeks from the contract date, 4 months, and I would be called for an install date. On 6/24 (12) weeks I call Window World to check on my windows progress. I was told N Atl Window World was waiting on 1 special window to be mfg. 7/7 (16) weeks I called Window World and spoke to Elaine. Elaine gave me the same story but, promise to check with the manufactory weekly and give me a status call. 7/15 Elaine called and gave me the same lame status report. 7/16, I spoke to Elaine about shipping windows that were ready and the special window later and was told the manufactory wouldn't split the order. I asked to speak to the owner without success. I haven't received another called from Elaine. On 9/27 (24) weeks, I call and spoke to Katie. I explained my situation to Katie and asked to speak to the Owner or someone in charge. 9/28 Sean *** called me and stated the manufactory is shipping my order and he should received the product inhouse 10/4. Sean said he would call me to get an install date. 10/4 Past with no call from Sean. On 10/15 (28) weeks which is 7 months I call Sean *** an got his voice mail, No return call. I call my salesman an told him about my situation and asked him to tell the owner to call me. on 10/19 (7) months and still I called Window World to get Alice. Alice begin to give me the same old story when I stopped her and told her to tell the owner to please give me a call. 10/25 No call from anyone at Window World. Shortly will be (8) months Window World will have kept my deposit and given me the run around. My next step is getting a lawyer and see if they can get Window World a seat in Henry County GA court house.
From the beginning, things were great. Matt our sales guy sold us on your product and excellent reputation. Our minds were quickly changed. Fast forward to install day. The crew was supposed to arrive between 12-2. They showed up at 10 am with no prior call. We were not home so the crew left. I was home within 30 minutes of their arrival, and no one was there. They worked all day until 8pm. It was getting dark, and they quickly wrapped up their job leaving my house an absolute mess. Trash inside and out. I was unable to do a walkthrough outside as it was dark, but upon a quick walkthrough inside it was evident that corners were cut. Clear caulk was used instead of white, many of the stools were gouged and damaged (even though we were assured that there should be no issue with damaging inside trim as our house was recently painted), and one of the installed windows was broken but no one bothered to tell us. I told them I was not paying them the remainder until the damage was fixed. It was late, no one at WW was in the office and I had no one to call. There was no foreman or project manager on site either. Given the language barrier I was unable to communicate with the crew. They just stood around my house waiting for me. I eventually got ahold of our sales guy and he recommended we pay. So I paid and then wrote lots of notes on the survey we received about damage, etc. What a mistake. Not only were there issues inside, the next day revealed lazy work outside as well. The aluminum caps were not placed on square and then just caulked to fill in the gaps. The aluminum was dimpled. Things that could have been taken care of the first time if the crew was not rushing daylight. This was May 10. Fast forward to August . We are STILL going back and forth, Carter came our multiple times to take the same notes and pictures, twice, and finally on the schedule for work to be done. Michael came out to caulk all the windows and he put in a work order for the stools and a new sash to replace the one that was broken at install. 5 weeks go by and I hear nothing from WW about this part or getting back on the schedule. They tell me that it will take 6 weeks for the part and they will call when it arrives or to call back in a week. I called back 2 weeks later and the receptionist says "oh I think we JUST got that in on Friday". It was Tuesday of the following week and still no one had called. Either way, we get on the schedule. Our original date was rained out and it was 20 days before we could get back onto the schedule. We were told that the same crew would come back that did the install. I was already weary because they did an awful job the first time. I was assured a PM would join them and things would be taken care of. The crew came out yesterday. Off the bat they kept telling my husband that they were not going to re-cap this or re-do this stool,"esta bein, esta bein!" I do not care what you think "looks good", the customer is unhappy, and you have a work order to complete. The things needed to be done. Carter arrived about 2 hrs after the crew did (he smelled very strongly of alcohol) and talked to them, everyone came to an understanding on what was to be done. Along the way Carter made off hand comments that were racist (like, oh they're Mexican what do they mean they cannot paint) making my husband feel very uncomfortable. The crew replaced the broken sash and the window now no longer stayed up on his own. This was mentioned to Carter who then pulled it out and banged it on the window stool which ended up denting it. He fixed the window and then re-installed it. I know the install crew are not finish carpenters, but if that is who you are sending out to do stool replacement, etc. they need to take some care to do it correctly. The 7 stools were cut straight and not beveled like our existing stools, so they stand out. The caulk was done very sloppy. The crew unplugged our outdoor Halloween decorations to use our extension cord but never bothered to plug anything back in. This morning we found a handful of cut aluminum and wood scraps. These may seem like small things, but I would never go to someone's home to do work and leave their house this way. We have two small children who play outside. Just as the first encounter with the crew, they left a mess. I do not doubt you sell a great product, but the install crew and overall customer service leave a LOT to be desired. We spent $11,000 on new windows and expected better service that this. I will not be recommending WW to anyone, and will certainly share my story and the many pictures with anyone I know who is in need of new windows. I do want anyone else to deal with this nightmare. If you decided to go with Window World, I would advise that you do NOT pay your remainder at install unless you are 100% happy.
Paul was my sales rep and he was amazing. I told him I would review once everything was installed and everything looks great! everything happened the way Paul said it would, all in 1 day! I had 5 other quotes and I couldn't be happy. I cant speak for the other reps but my experience with Paul and window world has been exceptional!
Our experience with Window World has been unacceptable
Our experience with Window World has been unacceptable. We ordered doors from them in April. After the 12 week delivery date we were informed that the installation date would need to be scheduled 45 days out even though they had our door sitting in their warehouse. Less than 24 hours before our installation date a representative from their company named Jordan *** called us to inform that their installation team would be in another state and we would need to reschedule our installation date for another 3 weeks. We inquired as to why we were just being notified and if their were any earlier dates since I took off work to accommodate the original installation date. Jordan replied with no and asked if I worked 7 days a week and why I could not be available on the new date 3 weeks out. As I saw he was being hostile I asked to speak to another manager and he refused to transfer my call. At this point I'm unsure if I will ever receive my doors. If this is the way Window World treats it's customers than I definitely do not recommend anyone their business.

We had all our windows and exterior doors replaced by Window World in mid-January. With that initial install, it became apparent they had forgotten to order our large picture window. Some of the windows and our screen door were missing hardware as well. I have made so many calls over the last several months. Initially I was told that it would be May when they'd be able to finish everything. May came and went with nothing. Called multiple times to follow up. Finally they told me they had all the parts and could come and finish the job in July. The guys showed up with only the big picture window. They said they didn't know anything about hardware and to call again to have that scheduled. When I called, I was told., "It's here on the truck that's getting unloaded. They'll be ready by the end of the week." Waited but heard nothing. I called two weeks later and was told they didn't know where the parts were but would leave a message with the warehouse manager to get back to me. Heard nothing. Called today to figure out what is going on(almost September). Now they say they have the door parts in and "should" have the other parts by the install at THE END OF SEPTEMBER. Understand if they finish the job at that point, we're talking OVER EIGHT MONTHS just to finish the job they started. We signed the quote last October, so that's not including the manufacturing of the windows/order time. We were fine with that initial order wait, due to covid. This, however, has been ridiculous. Clearly there is poor follow through and communication within the company. We picked Window World partially due to their warranty. Now I'm praying that nothing ends up being wrong with the windows, because this has been the worst experience just trying to get them to finish INSTALLING them. I have lost faith that it wont be just as much hassle getting things taken care of if we run into further issues. Every person from the company has been kind and courteous, but that doesn't outweigh the lack of actual follow through. This has been such a frustrating process.
Paul was exceptionally helpful. This is the second time he helped. He was prompt in responding and he simplified the order processing. I highly recommend Window World to my neighbors and friends.
First of all i signed a contract and yes i know all about the delay due to Covid 19. I had 6windows and 1 glass sliding door that was installed on 6/19. the sub-contract crew did not know how to install the sliding glass door and installed it upside down. There was no lock on the door. I complained and had to call the company asking for someone to come out and look at the door because it had not been installed properly. There were several delays of them not showing up and finally Charles *** came out on 8/2 and he saw what was done incorrectly but he was limited in trying to correct the problem and come to find out the sub-contractor crew did not caulk my windows.
Charles *** wrote up a service contract on what corrections were needed weeks went by no calls. So, i called requesting a crew to come out and correct the mistakes the sub-contractor crew made.
The earliest i was told for someone to come out would be 9/10 from the hours 11-1. At 1;45pm i call inquiring about the whereabouts of the crew that was to come out. I was told that the project manager was giving them a call and if I did not hear anything to call them back.
One hour went by, no call. So I called window world inquiring on whether someone was going to show up. Customer service stated that project manager was calling and i should hear some from the crew. There is a long time from 11-1pm and it is now 3pm. I took the day off for this.
Window world continues to provide poor service. I want the problem corrected.
This is not the way you conduct service. i want my money back
I feel helpless trying to get our windows that were ordered in Nov 2020
I feel helpless trying to get our windows that were ordered in Nov 2020. It is now April and still no windows. When we signed up with the Window World Atlanta, we were told the windows will be installed in Dec 2020 or Jan 2021. I had to call them in Feb 2021 to check on the windows and had to schedule installation for end of April . Which I did not prefer but had to accept. Was expecting the windows lot sooner. I asked for the sales representative we've worked with to discuss the delays but he didn't reach out. And today, April 8 and I called WW again to confirm my installation and they're saying I didn't schedule it in April and now the windows will be here in end of May. It keeps getting delayed and I feel we've been lied to. The costumer reps/schedulers on the phone are very rude and unprofessional and would not and could not apologize for their own mistakes. They had no will to help costumers. They've told me if I tried to cancel my order they will come after me to collect my remaining amount. I wanted to cancel the order since it hasn't arrived on the timeline we've expected it to and signed a contract with. Very unhappy costumer here. Try to stay from Window world and you'll be glad you did.

Avoid this company
Avoid this company. I bought windows in November. After signing the contract, the salesperson told me they'd be installed in mid-January, but that if I was lucky, maybe end of December. It was attributed to a manufacturing delay. I was accepting of that given the pandemic. When I hadn't heard from them in January, I called. They told me that my windows had arrived a few days prior but that they were still installing orders from August, the earliest they could get mine installed was the end of March. As I was trying to eliminate drafts from THIS winter, I was pretty angry, told them it was unacceptable. They told me I could pick up the windows myself to have them installed or they would be able to move me to March 1st. I said I'd look for an installer and if I couldn't get one, they weren't really giving me any choice other than to wait. Madison said they'd call before the install to set up a time unless they heard from me. It's end of February. No word from Madison. I called today. Katy told me they'd been waiting for my call, and was never put on a schedule. Fine. I told them I would call the credit card company and ask for a refund and Katy threatened my credit report. Now I'm waiting another 2 weeks for the install. Do not buy from these people. Do not trust these people. They're scammers. I can't even imagine what the actual install will be like based on the other reviews. RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY FROM WINDOW WORLD OF ATLANTA!
Unfortunately, I am having a horrible experience with Window World
Unfortunately, I am having a horrible experience with Window World. I am still in the middle of it. Long story short, I signed a contract to have two windows in the front of my house replaced on August 18th. I also paid $1,750 on that day as a down payment on the window replacement. It is now November 30th and my windows have not been replaced. At the signing of the contract, I was told it would be 4 - 6 weeks. The sales person at the time measured the windows twice. The sales person evidently quit and went back to being an installer, so another sales person came out and measured. This sales person told me everything was in order and that I would be hearing from someone about scheduling the installation. Well, that never happened. What did happen was a third person came out and measured and told me that this order had been screwed up, but he would place a rush on it. It was crickets from WW for about 4 weeks, so I called customer service and a customer service manager told me that the window would not even be in the warehouse until the end of December (4 months since signing the contract). So, I looked the CEO up on linked in and sent her a message - still no response. The CS manager blamed this whole thing on COVID and I'm sure that has slowed things down, but this is ridiculous. I want someone to admit that something happened on the WW side and be give some type of assurance that I will get my windows; otherwise, I want my money back and I will find another vendor. This is ridiculous by anyone's standards!

We purchased a sliding glass window around the last week of September and was quoted a 6-8 week timeframe for the installation
We purchased a sliding glass window around the last week of September and was quoted a 6-8 week timeframe for the installation. As any other customers, we experienced severe delays. I reached out to Window World at the beginning on December and every two weeks after until 1/26. I was told during each call that "We will call you in about 2 weeks to schedule an installation day." I understand that COVID has delayed pipelines, but managing a realistic expectation is essential. During our consultation, why were we given a 6-8 week timeframe admist COVID? Or did the delays only begin after we ordered our product. The information is misguiding, vague, and lacking emphathy. Today (1/26) I call for an update and low and behold, it's here and we can schedule a installation date. My first question was why did no one call me when it had arrived? Do they not keep a list of delayed customers and making outreach to them a priority? Regardless, the staff I spoke to said they could install at the end of April. Unacceptable. And the fact that a late April installation date was offered to me was appalling. I threatened to file a complaint here and magically my installation date could be moved to Feb 18th. Or, maybe they should have scheduled me for the absolute first available appointment from the beginning. Now I question whether Feb. 18th is truly the earilest installation date. Withou knowing the quality of product or installation, I can only speak to the ordering and customer service process and it's not only terrible, but it's also dishonest which to me is worse than poor service. Would never recommend.
I had Window World to replace 5 windows in my sun room
I had Window World to replace 5 windows in my sun room. It took several weeks, but that was ok. The installers did an excellent job.
So a few months later, I decided to get 9 more windows. The wait was long again. But that was ok. But the 3 installers that came to do the work was on another whole level. They made so much racket removing my front double window, I had to see what was going on. They removed and did not replace 2x4 wood from the frame. Another window in my sunroom was too short by a lot. So they filled it in with the aluminum. It had gotten dark and they were still trying to work.
Well the next day I went to inspect the job and I was horrified at what I saw, Huge gaps in between the window encasement and the hardiplank. No caulking or silicone on any windows on the sides or back of the house. Some of my hardiplank was cracked and damaged. I called to complain. They sent the same workers back. They said that it had gotten dark while they were working. So they filled all the gaps with gobs of silicone.and told me to paint the hardiplank.
Later I had some interior painting done. Low and behold, the worst is yet discovered. See Pics. The interior window frame is pulled 1/2" or more in several rooms. The frame is split and cracked in others. The sheetrock paper is torn badly in another room. They half nailed some of their mistakes.Ugh. A manager came out and surveyed the job. He noticed something unsightly about my windows as he was driving towards my house. Too much aluminum encasement. He was shocked at the shoddy work and the damage. But over 1 1/2 weeks later I had to call the office yet again. No one had the decency to call me with any results or remedies. Now today it gets really good. I have now discovered one of the windows has a leak. And my wood floors are wet.
MAYBE I SHOULD CALL A LAWYER AND BYPASS *** WORLD.THEY DON'T REALLY CARE.

At the start of 2021 I called this company and asked for an appointment to replace a window
At the start of 2021 I called this company and asked for an appointment to replace a window. This company was recommended by the paint company that had just painted our house because they did single window replacements. An appointment was made for January 5th. The rep from Window World called on January 4th to confirm the next day appointment and things looked good, except he never showed up or contacted us. At t(e end of January I contacted the company and was transferred to Hassan, that told me a policy had been implemented in late January that stated that only orders of 4 windows of more could be entertained by Windows World apparently because of an abundance of business. I explained that their rep had not shown up when he stated he would - causing a wasted day for me waiting for him- and that it had happened on January 5th so the request should be honored even though it was for a single window replacement, He asked for window measurements and we provided them in early February. We heard nothing back and we eventually followed up with Hassan who stated that, despite our prior conversation, only a four window minimum could be entertained and that the directive had come in December and not in January as he had previously stated. This company obviously does not care to honor customer commitments and is focused on the big dollar sales. I acknowledge it is their prerogative, but not fulfilling commitments and then backing out of statements they made before smacks of opportunism and disregard for the customer. In the interest of full disclosure, Hassan did acknowledge, by SMS, that the four window directive had in fact come after the no show , but there was no follow up or offer to make things right, Windows World seems to be a company that cares only about the dollar now and I would not trust them to stand behind their customers or commitments. I would not recommend them at all.
Signed the contract in August for windows, siding, and gutters
Signed the contract in August for windows, siding, and gutters. Promised November, maybe December at the latest. Zero communication from Window World as we blew through the promised dates. Multiple calls to Window World went unanswered, messages were not returned.
4/26: materials delivered, no show from Window World and they did not answer delivery driver's calls.
4/27: No show, no call.
4/28: One person showed up and puttered around. No project manager on site.

4/30-5/1: Small crew working, no project manager on site. New siding installed over rotten siding that was supposed to be replaced per contract. New aluminum trim installed over rotten fascia that was supposed to be replaced per contract. Missing two pairs of shutters.
5/3: Called and complained - mountains of trash on all sides of house, garden and bushes damaged by siding, extremely poor quality of work, missing two pairs of shutters.
5/4: Carter, project manager, arrived on property. Agreed that work was subpar and needed to be redone, shutters would be ordered.
5/6: Small crew arrived, cleaned up some of the trash. Problems not repaired. Carter no-show. Shutters no-show.
5/13: Received call from billing department for payment. We had not conducted a final walk through, hadn't signed anything accepting the job, repairs were not made, missing shutters not installed.
5/24: Jordan, project manager, arrived on property. Reviewed quality of work, acknowledged it was subpar and not what was contracted or paid for. Promised it would be swiftly corrected, shutters would be ordered.
6/18: Malcolm, project manager, arrived on property. Agreed that it was subpar and not what was stated in the contract. Shutters would be ordered.
6/28: Malcolm and crew replaced rotten fascia and recapped all doors. Shutters would be ordered. Leftover construction materials would be picked up immediately and gutters would be installed next.
7/9: Driveway still full of construction materials. HOA has sent multiple complaint letters. President of HOA personally asked for explanation. Have been calling Window World daily since 6/28 but no answer and messages aren't returned.

I ordered windows from WW in February and was told 14-16 weeks for install due to COVID and backlogs
I ordered windows from WW in February and was told 14-16 weeks for install due to COVID and backlogs. I completely understand that as this is something everyone everywhere is dealing with.
I paid my deposit for the windows and did not hear from anyone in over 16 weeks. No one called to schedule a time to install the windows. I tried multiples times to get in touch with them. I finally got a call back and was told my windows would be on the next truck in two weeks. Two weeks went by and I did not get a call to schedule, so I reached out again. I was told the next truck would have the windows on it. Two weeks later no call so I followed up again. I was told they did not know when my windows would be ready and they do not have access to that information. They said it was not their fault and threw their manufacturer Associated Materials under the bus. I got my quote number from WW and called AMI.
AMI told me one window shipped on 6/10 and the remaining window would ship on 7/16. I called WW back to confirm if the information was true and they said they would reach out once the window was received in about two weeks. So keeping with the theme I had not heard anything so I called WW today. I was told the window was now on back order and they do not know when it will be ready. I was given no information on what is going on or any solutions. I asked to cancel my order or get some type of compensation for the lag time and lack of information. I was told I cannot cancel and nothing can be done to help me.
All in all, I am at a loss for the entire situation. The horrid customer service and lack of information is just flat out unacceptable. I manage a national sales team and understand the back order issues but the lack of information and lack of willingness to help is wild. "I can't do anything" and " nothing I can do" is something that is difficult to swallow.
Still without windows and still have no answers on what is going on. I would suggest tempering your exceptions with everything that is going on in the world but STRONGLY consider using a different company. They are flat out unprofessional and I am out money. As far as I am concerned they have stolen money from me considering I put a deposit down and they can't tell me when the windows will arrive.
From the beginning, things were great
From the beginning, things were great.

On 4/29, I entered into a contract w/ Window World to have a French Style Vinyl Rolling Patio Door w/ Trim manufactured and installed
On 4/29, I entered into a contract w/ Window World to have a French Style Vinyl Rolling Patio Door w/ Trim manufactured and installed. According to Scott Capps (Sales Person) though the contract states 6-8 weeks for install there was delay pushing back to 12 weeks for install. I understood and waited patiently. On 7/15 @ 8:07am I spoke to Scott after attempting to get an update 7/13 via website. He contacted Elaine (CSR Mgr) to call me but Daniell (sp) called stating they expected delivery to their office 1st week of August and will call to schedule appt. I followed up on 7/31 spk to Kia and again on 8/11 spk to Jordan who scheduled appt for 9/2 @ 9-11am. On 9/1 @ 3pm they called to reschd to 10/1 to which I spk to Elaine explaining that I have appts with the Alarm Co., Painters & Flooring that are contingent upon the install. She reschd to 9/15 @ 9-11am; Today 9/14 @ 1:55pm they called cancel AGAIN. I can incur a fee from floor co. p/contract due to delay

Transaction Date:1/18 We paid them a deposit of $1672. Total: $3344/Provide 6 Windows including a Large Picture window We have had a comedy of errors including Breaking the picture window twice, breaking one of the other window and forgetting parts for the other window. They have lied a number of times about delivery. The last time they told us the truck broke down on a Friday and the next day they told us the window wasn't in. We asked them to call about an adjustment to the price with no reply. We have asked to talk to the *** and got some bull about Chain of Command.Contract number 136827.PS Our daughter who owns the house with us spent close to $5000 to fix the additional room to enclose area. She has also rewindowed 4 other houses

I ordered 9 windows from Window World in August
I ordered 9 windows from Window World in August . I was told that it would be 8-10 weeks to receive the windows. Well, its been over 4 months. I ordered 9 windows from Window World in August . I was told that it would be 8-10 weeks. Well it's been over 4 months. The only time I speak with them is when I call to find out what's going on. They still keep giving me the same answer that they are being manufactured and the company has been shut down and back up due to Covid. At this point, I don't want the windows anymore. I called to cancel my order and was told because I didn't cancel after 3 days of signing the contract I would still be responsible for paying for them and I would be sent to a collection agency. That means Window World could drag my window stallation out for years if they wanted to because I didn't cancel 3 days after the contract. That is poor practice and I will not be paying for the windows. I officially canceled my contract and don't want to deal with that company every again. The customer service is very poor. The reviews demonstrate how they subcontract the work out and do a poor job at it.

date of contract: June XX-XXXX window installation, under the contract it says installation should take place between 6 to 8 weeks. We are on October 18th and I only got an answer just because I called. I never got any update either via e-mail, text, or call. They told me installation was scheduled by October 7 upon delivery of the windows. again, never received any update after October 7th so I call again and they told me the windows are coming from NC which is located 4 hours from my location. they said they shipped the windows on the 7th but didn't receive it yet and there's no way for them to track the shipment? At this point, I want to cancel and get my money back which I pay at front $2000
Window World installed 23 windows on April 27 at our Atlanta home. The balance was paid in full on the day of completion. After the installers left, we discovered that there was a broken sash and a window that had not been Corked. I called customer service the very next day. It Is now October 20, The repairs have still not been completed. I have been on the schedule two times (the last in June ) to have repairs done and was called the day of by the installer to say that the sash that was delivered to the warehouse was broken. Today is October 20th. I called and spoke with the manager who said the sash arrived in the warehouse on October 16th and I am being put on the schedule for delivery and repair of the sash on November 16. It will be 7 months from the install date. The manager was unapologetic stating "other customer have been waiting as long as you have". We've missed time off work waiting for installers only to be told the day of that the delivered sash was broken.
It's been 225 days , when is all started . Still don't have a finish date , just spent the last 2 days just to get a call back and still no day they will get here . They think 6 and a half months is ok . And done right.
We have waited 9 to 10 months on prepaid windows
We have waited 9 to 10 months on prepaid windows. To date we are still with out total order Initially the first window world representative measured our windows incorrectly. Two dormer windows had to be reordered! We were told we wouldn't have to wait another 3 to 4 months for the correction and our windows would be delivered and installed in a timely manner. 4 1/2 months later, we are still waiting. We have been lied to, ignored, and completely disregarded as customers by them. Many appointments have been made by them only to be cancelled by them for various excuses. Covid (of course, and totally understood), over booking other customers, inability to find one of the two reordered windows. No crew available to do smaller jobs, even though the fault is completely with window world. Their customer service department is filled with incompetent people who tell untruths time and time again. When you ask for a supervisor, someone comes on the phone and promises to assist and help you. She then calls a day before the expected appointment, saying there is another problem and we will have to reschedule again. The appointments has to be rescheduled

Windows originally ordered 7/31. Sales Manager James Austin called me 10/3 to inform me the windows need to be re-ordered, came in wrong and will be in around Jan 2021. Window World couldn't reach me so Sept 21, 2021 they installed the WRONG WINDOW, NO COLONIAL GRID, 110.00 PER WINDOW. They knew the window was WRONG before it was installed, it did not match the sales ticket. Per Manager, *** and the manufacturer, replacement sashes with correct grid pattern will not be in until November . Window World needs to deduct 220.00 from my balance of 758.00 (110.00 per window with COLONIAL GRIDS and put in a new window WITHOUT the grids. I am not willing to wait until November for matching windows. They need to admit their error in installing windows that didn't match the purchase ticket.
received a call today. 10/4 Window World Marietta, GA franchise at 2285 Northwest Pkwy, Marietta, 30067 to say they are rescheduling my door install AGAIN FOR THE 3RD TIME because it looks like rain tomorrow.. this IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Window World has had my $1000 deposit SINCE APRIL, yet I haven't recieved the door I paid for. Nor have I recieved any monetary compensation for my 5 month wait.
Window World of North Atlanta never finished the job, and it's been over a whole year with the side of my house being wrapped in plastic and exposed to weather elements. Shane is completely not responsive to my messages, the previous contact person has also left this company, and my windows are still not done. Window world got the measurement wrong 2x and whenever they send a crew, when the crew knows they cannot finish the job and get paid by me, they just don't do it and leave, there is no communication between me and the company for a whole month now at this point despite my numerous effort to ask them for an update. They could've at least finish the plastic wraps and how that's been exposed to rains for over a year now, their crew also shows up not ready or have the materials to finish the job, if window world is incapable of finishing picture windows, refund me and I"ll get some other company to do it.

Window World continuously misled me in regards to when I would receive my new windows
Window World continuously misled me in regards to when I would receive my new windows. Came 9 weeks later than guaranteed with incorrect measurments. I purchased my windows from window world in early October . When sigining my contract, the sales agent let me know that I'd get my window within six weeks. Around the 8 week mark, I contacted them since I had no follow up. They then told me that it was never 6 weeks, it'd be somewhere between 8-10 weeks. The manager, Katy, then promised I'd have the window by January 8th, now 12 weeks after the guaranteed date. I was promised that I would have weekly follow up until that date for status updates - of course that did not happen either. January 8th swings around and there are no windows in sight. The windows finally come the last week of January . When installing the windows, the contractor lets me know that the measurements are wrong for the windows on the front of the house. They do not fit. So they have to reinstall my old windows. I call the store back and wait for it...they tell me another 6 weeks. This is ridiculous. Just "I understand your frustration". Their fraudulent, not truthful about their times, and take absolutely zero accountability for their wrongs.

We ordered 16 windows and a sliding glass door on 3/21 with notice that it would take at least 16 weeks for the order to come in. That wasn't an issue as we are aware it takes time to make the windows. On 8/4 we were notified that our order was in and they would be installed on 8/5 between the hours of 12-2. We got a phone call at 1:45 from the installation foreman telling us that the job before us had more issues than expected and that they wouldn't be out our way that day but that they would come Friday 8/6 in the same time frame. Apparently he shouldn't of said that because Felicia from the office called and left a voicemail at 4:45 asking us to reschedule for Saturday even though the office was closed by the time we tried to call back. I called and spoke to Jordan (a manager) and he promised a crew would be out Saturday between the hours of 12-2 to install the order and that it could take up to 6 hours because there was only 3 people coming. Saturday comes and we hear nothing
Full narrative with timeline and issues is attached. Short version is: I signed a contract with Window World in December , to replace the windows on the front of my house. Total contract value was $8,500 (with half up front). Despite a variety of subpar work and service on their end, a lot of time/effort/disruptions for us, and numerous attempts to communicate with them over the past several months, they have still not fulfilled their end of the agreement (I am still waiting on the window screens, which they were supposed to provide originally, and again at a later date).
I ordered my windows and signed the contract April as I was okay with the 12-14 weeks lead time although not guaranteed as the salesperson stated it usually does not go past that. There were no communication leading up to the 12wks so I called and was told they would give me a call back and get me on the schedule soon. No call for a couple of weeks so I called back and got on the schedule for August 11th. August 10th, I had not gotten a call confirming the time, so I called Window World and was told they could not confirm the time until after 4pm. At 5:30pm, I called back to get the time and was alerted that they would need to reschedule due to a job continuation. I asked the rep why wouldn't I be placed on the schedule for the next day as opposed to 2wks out from my original appointment, I got no real answer. Customer service and communication goes a long way when you have people such as myself waiting for installation to occur after taking customer's money with no refund.
The full narrative is attached. In short on 3/1 I entered into a contract with them & paid to have all 12 windows in my home replaced. After cancellations and no shows the job was abandoned as I didn't hear from them for weeks despite me reaching out to them. Ultimately, I submitted a claim with my credit card company for a refund and it was approved on 7/16 after a lengthy investigation. Upon receiving the dispute notification they decided to give me a call and I asked them due to abandonment I no longer wanted to do business with them and to please stop calling me. It is my desire that they do the right thing and acknowledge their fault in abandoning the job and stop trying to bully/harass me into working with them by calling me, showing up at my home and threatening collections. This entire experience has caused me loss wages, loss of travel funds, additional expenses, mental duress, stress, wasted time and energy. They forfeited the contract, I DO NOT owe them ANYTHING!
Company keeps pushing delivery and installation date out and will not commit to a firm date
Company keeps pushing delivery and installation date out and will not commit to a firm date. On 10/8 we ordered a window and paid half of the total cost by check. At the time of the order, the sales person said the window should be delivered and installed before Christmas. On 11/21, customer service said the window should be installed in a couple of weeks. We called customer service on 12/29 to follow up on the installation. Customer service could not give be a date as the window is still not in. They said it should be on the truck in a couple of weeks approximately 1/18. We asked to have the owner give us a call and customer service said that was not done. We received a call back from another Customer service rep and was told the window should be in within two weeks but could not give us an installation date. We told the Customer service rep that due to the ongoing delays and being unable to get a firm installation date, that we wanted our money back. She said we just do not due that and now said the window was loaded on a truck on 12/23 but still could not give us a installation date. We are tired of getting vague dates and conflicting information and just want our money back in full. This is not a way to operate a reputable company with poor customer service and apparently having the owner or other executive address a customer's issue.

Window world of Atlanta replaced our windows back in ****
Window world of Atlanta replaced our windows back in ***. At that time, they replaced a palladium window in the master bedroom but did not have the vinyl trim for the outside, although we had paid for it. Years have gone by and about 2 years ago I looked at the window and remembered they had never come back out with the trim and our original wood trim on the house is rotting. I have been calling them over the last two years to get the vinyl trim done and they have scheduled many appointments to come out to install the vinyl trim. Every appointment has been cancelled by them claiming the pieces of vinyl are on back order, it might rain that day or no crew is available to come today. One guy actually did show up with a 10 ft ladder and the round piece for the top of the window but couldnt install it obviously because it is a 2nd story window and he didnt have the straight piece for the bottom of the window. They have rescheduled this installation about 15 times, yet each time they call me the night before to tell me I need to be home because they are coming here the next morning. I have never missed an appointment time yo be home. Remember, I paid for this trim in *** when we bought the whole house of replacement windows. Still have not received it. I would NOT recommend Window World of Atlanta for any kind of work at this point. Their promises for service are empty and im pretty sure that their lack of replacing the wood trim with the vinyl trim has caused rain water to leak in and damage the walls underneath the window. That will cost me thousands of dollars to repair.

Multiple failures to deliver and install product after scheduled appointments
Multiple failures to deliver and install product after scheduled appointments. Customer paid in full over six months ago, and WW refuses to refund. A sliding glass door was ordered from Window World on August 12, and paid in full. We were told the door would be delivered in 10 to 12 weeks, and we would receive a call. We never received a call. When we finally reached them, we were told the delivery would be delayed to the middle of December. By the middle of December, we again did not hear from WW, so we called them and were told the door was not available. The delivery was then moved to January 14, with a delivery window of X:XX-XX:XX. The afternoon before, they called, and said they would not deliver and install the door due to a scheduling conflict. The delivery date was rescheduled to February 8, and confirmed the Saturday before, with the time set at X:XX-XX:XX. At 11:15, I called the company to report that nobody had come. I was told, the confirmation I had received Saturday was wrong, and the delivery was instead scheduled between XX:XX-X:XX. However, again, no delivery. I called WW back 1:20, and was told about a delay of two hours, and the installer would call. The installer called two and a half hours later, and said he would not make it. The Company called back to reschedule, but does not have anything available in the near future. Henceforth, I want my money refunded. WW is clearly unable to deliver and install the product in an acceptable time frame. Again, the door was ordered and paid for more than six months ago. WW refuses to refund my money, but also does not deliver and install the product.

Windows are too big/small for each opening-installation is subpar; business will not return phone calls Signed a contract for 6 Windows in
Windows are too big/small for each opening-installation is subpar; business will not return phone calls Signed a contract for 6 Windows in November , windows installed in January . Windows are too big/small for each opening - installation is subpar - below subpar if possible; even WWATL sub-contractors wouldn't/couldn't fix it - business will not return phone calls - get a different story from every individual we have spoken to once we could speak to someone. WWATL has broken their contract with us by the way they have treated us, Senior Citizens on a limited income, by not delivering the product we ordered, by passing us on to customer service who refused to pass along our requests and stonewalled us at every opportunity, damaging our home in the process of installation, and by not taking responsibility for shoddy workmanship, and by inconveniencing us and our dogs. They may stand behind and, on their windows, but they do not stand by their customers; however, they do walk all over them. I have attached a 10-page timeline of everything that took (or didn't) place. Due to WWATL's incompetence and lack of caring, we have been forced to sign a new contract with another window vendor and it is costing us $8K more to have them fix WWATL's mistakes. We did everything possible to get WWATL to fix the issue (see attached timeline). I finally had to cancel/close my credit card to ensure they would not charge me since the finance manager, Casey, would not return my calls to discuss other options of payment (called her 4 times). How many chances do you have to give them to do the right thing? Doing business with WWATL is like being in an abusive relationship - they beat you and apologize, you accept and give them another chance and, BOOM. Your down and out again.

The worst experiences that I ever encountered while dealing with a professional business
The worst experiences that I ever encountered while dealing with a professional business. I purchased window's from Window World in 2020. I was scheduled to have my windows delivered and installed on Saturday, March 6 one of their servicemen called to reschedule for that Sunday, March 7 they stated the installer that was scheduled to install my didn't complete another job on Friday, March 5. On Sunday, March 7th the installer arrived at my home. I was scheduled to have 7 windows installed. Once the installer arrived, he informed me that he only had 6 windows to install in my home that day. He then proceeded to inform me that he was not aware of what happened to my 7th window, he said, "Maybe someone else picked it up by mistake." Then he said I needed to, "Contact Window World on Monday." On Monday morning, I reached out to Window World and spoke with a gentlemen. I informed him of the situation and he stated that he wasn't exactly sure what happened to the 7th window that did not make it to my home. He stated that he would speak to the manage and reach back out to me with an update as to how we will proceed moving forward...he NEVER reached back out to me. I called Window on Tuesday, March 9 no one answered the phone so, I reached out to the Sales Consultant to inform him about my situation. The Sales Consultant advised me that he was heading into the office and he will have the manage to call me but, the manager never did. On that Wednesday, March 10, I called and left a message with the receptionist for a manager to call me back and no one called back. At this point I am very disappointed with the service that I have received thus far from Window World. The level of service is very unprofessional when it comes to meeting the clients needs and keeping the client updated as to what is going on!

I purchased windows last year
I purchased windows last year. 2 weeks after install the seals leaked and 5 windows fogged. They still have not come out to replace the defective glas I purchasers the windows 1 year ago from Window World. I paid $9000 for casement windows. The installers were great and did a good job installing the windows. 2 weeks later 3 windows fogged up immediately after a rain storm. I called Window World to have the windows replaced under warranty. They told me the windows are custom and need to be made. 1 month later they called me and told me they were ready to be installed. They scheduled for the next month to have them replaced. No call No show. I called and they said the installer was sick and rescheduled me for another month. No call No show again. I called and they gave me the same excuse. They scheuled me for another month. No Call No show. Every single time they would call the day prior and affirm my appt. No I have 2 more windows that fogged up and they keep taking my information and saying they *** forward my claim to their project manager and I never hear from anyone. Today I called and spoke with a miss Hannah and told her my issue with the 2 defective windows along with the 3 other windows. She stated we *** need to order the windows. I told her that I'm worried that they *** never get fixed. She asked me to send her pictures of the defective windows. I've done this several times. I sent her the pictures to the email she gave me and it was the wrong email. I immediatly called back and had a girl answer the phone without telling her name. I asked to speak with Hannah. The no name girl said she's not in today. I told her I just got off the phone with her. I feel like I have been hoodwinked. I went with Window World because I didn't think I would have to jump through so many hoops. In extremely frustrated with the experience and just want my windows fixed.

I Have not received the window and it is well past the terms of the contract of 8-20 weeks when it should have been installed!
I Have not received the window and it is well past the terms of the contract of 8-20 weeks when it should have been installed! On October 21st Karl of Window World came to my place of residence to do estimate for a front window that I need replaced. I paid $216 cash and was advised that tge window would take 6-8 weeks to come in and be installed because it was being made. On December 18th I spoke with Katy who advised the order was delayed and it actually would be 8-10 weeks and I was misinformed by Karl of the turnaround time frame. I informed Katy that I wanted to be refunded my money because this is unacceptable service and its getting too cold in GA to not have this window installed. She refused the request for refund and I then asked to speak with a manager. I later received a call from Maggie stating the window would be there within a couple weeks and they would call me for install date. Fast forward to January 13th someone calls and schedules the install for January 21st which Noone shows up to install the window. I call and get told that due to rain they can't come install the window. Reschedule to the following week January 28th same thing none comes to install the window, I call them and get a excuse that they aren't able to come that day because they are working on another house and can't come on the date scheduled. Fast forward 1 week later I can't do the install because I'm out of town so they schedule for today February 12th. No one comes to install nor calls to say they aren't coming. I call to get the exact same run around I've been getting trying to have these people come install a window I ordered and paid on, it us well beyond the contract period of 8-10 weeks we are now in week #16! This is completely unacceptable and I want my money back! I don't even wanna do business with this company! They are very disorganized, lie to their customers and do not follow through with installs. Very unprofessional!

We ordered windows for our soon to be nursery and windows and a door for our sunroom in early July with an ETA for install in late Sept
We ordered windows for our soon to be nursery and windows and a door for our sunroom in early July with an ETA for install in late Sept. 2021. We called 7+ times from early Sept. to early Nov. to get updates. Every time we were told they are waiting on the door except the call we made last week where they confirmed that they had all supplies and scheduled us for install on 11/08. My husband took off work, cleared the rooms, and waited only to receive a call when the workers were scheduled to start stating that they only had 4 windows of our order, and they couldn't install those without the rest of the order. We wasted an entire day, and now have no clue as to when they will actually install the windows/door. I am due with our child in a few weeks. The main reason for the order was to have better temp. regulation in the nursery. We were promised in July that the windows would be installed before the holidays and the baby's arrival. At this point, we don't have time to wait for them any longer. Accommodating their schedule after our baby is born will cause severe interruptions to our infant's sleep/feeding schedule, and they assured us before our contract was signed and deposit was paid that we wouldn't have to worry about that as an issue. If they cannot get these windows/door installed in the next week, then I want our order cancelled, and I want our deposit returned. They have lied to us either the 7 times that we've called for update where they said they were only waiting on a door or they lied the day of instillation where they said they only have 4 windows. Either way, they lied, and they have truly put our family in a huge bind to figure out how to regulate temperature for our nursery in an incredibly short period of time. If we cannot result through Complaintsboard.com then our only other option is to consult an attorney and start a small claims case. Fortunately, my husband is an attorney and keeps very good records of our conversations with this company.

I contacted Window World via phone in March for door replacement quotes
I contacted Window World via phone in March for door replacement quotes. I explained the water intrusion and rotting wood around my door, sending pictures. We emailed back and forth as I measured my door; they never visited my home. They sent door options and prices. On March 19, I chose a door and signed a contract for $1,050. By May , with no update, I called again and was told to expect news soon. Concerned about ongoing rain damage, I waited. By August, with no word and worsening conditions, I hired another company. In September, Window World called to install; I declined, having resolved the issue.

Company paid in FULL!
Company paid in FULL! Services and product not delivered! Continued excuses and rescheduling issues since Sept 2020 I reached out and setup an appt. date with representative Steven Ferris on Thu. Sept 10th. I listened to his sales pitch and decided to go with Window World. I signed a contract and paid $1818.00 in FULL Sept 30th of 2020, I do have my receipt and contract. ***(I can scan and send documents at request as I do not have access to a scanner at the time this complaint is being sent). At that time Steven Ferris stated there may be delays due to Covid and weather, I understood and tried to get an idea or timeline for those delays. Steven was very non-specific. I phoned in with Window World in December to inquire where we were with having the windows created and an update for install. I was told windows were built but first available appt., would be in early Jan., so a date was set which I do not recall however Window World should have a call log. My first date was set a week after my bday around the first 2 weeks. I inquired but was immediately advised I could not get any Sat appts., due to my purchase of 3 windows being to small of an order, that.. I did not like or understand.. (and something that should not be said to a paying customer) so next I was told they have larger projects that are scheduled for Sats. When my first date for a Fri between 9-11AM was set, it was immediately canceled and the representative told me "it was due to lack of sufficient install staff", I was not happy but agreed to the reschedule. I was then scheduled for the last of January . Again I was called the day before after I had re-arranged my work schedule to accommodate, the Window World representative stated "they were backlogged on scheduling and finishing prior projects". Again I am not pleased and voice my concerns to speak with a mgr. I was transferred to Mattie, she was not helpful, only apologized and stated there was nothing she could do but to reschedule me again and gave me a Sat which was what I originally requested but was told no. Today is Fri Feb 12th 2021. I was scheduled for Sat Feb 13th between 9-11AM. This evening I received 2 voicemails, one at 5:58 PM and another at 6:15 PM, The representative was Rachel, stating "well our crews are short and we are behind on jobs already in motion plus the weather on Sat doesn't look good, so we'll have to reschedule you again, we're sorry". Rachel goes on to say please give us an immediate call back for the (4th) reschedule, leaves the only phone number available from Window World which is basically a call center where representatives are programmed to give rehearsed responses. There are ALWAYS excuses but no results. They are fully aware of the hours of operation and intentionally called well after hours where they know a customer will not be able to get through. Window World's business platform is a FLAT FAIL! They take your money, and make empty promises. They cancel on short notice which makes it virtually impossible to schedule and adjust a work schedule to suit as I work full-time. I also have another house project that cannot be started because of the continued cancellations!

Window World of North Atlanta installed four (4) faulty windows in August
Window World of North Atlanta installed four (4) faulty windows in August. They are refusing to respond/ take action to replace faulty windows On June 17 i signed a contract for WINDOW WORLD OF NORTH ATLANTA to replace a total of eight (8) (Double Hung Vinyl) Windows. In August the new windows were installed, but four (4) of the window sashes were faulty (to include spotty residue and cuts / streaks - within the window panes are apparent). I immediately notified the company after noticing the faulty sashes. After SEVERAL calls (most of which went unanswered) to the local Window World Representative... i was advised that "Someone Will Get back To You" regarding the issue. After a few more calls, i was able to get a "Manager" (exact Title unknown) to come out on Sept 30th... who visually checked, and agreed that the sashes were faulty, and promised to replace a total of six (6) sashes. It is a total of six sashes because i explained to him, that the windows (specifically in the bedroom) are not filtering out noise, and are "drafty". As a "consolation" for the inconvenience of the poor Customer Service and no call back(s) or reply from the prior messages that i left, and extended wait... the Manager advised that he would replace the four (4) Bedroom Window Sashes with a thicker "Laminated" Window Sashes... and also replacing the two (2) Living Room Sashes with the existing Window Sashes (Not Laminated). In late November ... i called the local Marietta, GA Window World office "again" to inquire of the status of the sashes, and they advised that they only have an order for two (2) sashes. I explained to them "again" that there are to be a total of six (6) sashes "in total' to be replaced (As promised by the Manager that came onsite in August). I was advised by the Customer Representative that the sashes were On The Truck" and to be delivered to the Warehouse on November 30th... and that i would be contacted shortly thereafter, for an install appointment date ! After a few weeks (around the first week in December )...since there was no follow up call, no email, no text or anything from "anyone" at Window World... i decided to call the Corporate Office in Charlotte, North Carolina to inquire / complain of the mistreatment i was still am receiving from the local Marietta, GA office... and to ascertain the status of my Window Shipment. Again... i was advised that "Someone Will Get Back To You" regarding this matter... and as apparently "as usual business" i did not receive a call back from the Corporate Manager in Charlotte, NC that i previously spoke with "TWICE". On: Tuesday, December 22 I received a "Voice Message" from someone named "Elaine" who advised me that: "We are waiting on the sashes to arrive from the Manufacturer" and i will check on this everyday, and KEEP YOU UPDATED on the status. That was over a month ago, and i "still have not heard anything from ELAINE" regarding this issue. i have been "Misinformed, or not Informed at all throughout this aggravating process. I PAID THIS COMPANY OVER $3,800.00 (via Amex Credit Card)... and still have had THEIR FAULTY PRODUCT INSTALLED FOR OVER 8 MONTHS NOW ! I feel that Window World has "No Intention of honoring their Promise" and are continuing to make excuses for POOR MANAGEMENT AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. What happened to the sashes were supposedly "On The Truck" and to be delivered to the Warehouse on November 30th?

Window World has subpar processes, sent inferior crews, does not resolved issues in a timely manner, and does not respect client safety
Window World has subpar processes, sent inferior crews, does not resolved issues in a timely manner, and does not respect client safety. After meeting with the Window World Salesperson on Nov 16, 2019, we decided to have 43 windows installed for a total cost of $24,699. While everything started fine, this 1.5 year-long process has been subpar having to reinstall windows multiple times, not completing tasks and having to argue about getting it completed, having multiple windows that allow puddles of water to come in the house, multiple crews coming into our home during a pandemic without masks, and the list goes on. The team came out and put the windows in. One had not arrived yet and one was installed with a crack but that was fine, we understood, things happen. We did a walk through and we pointed out several windows where the window frame was not flush with the wall, they caulked the separation in some cases, tried to adjust in other cases. We pointed out the outside frames with arches did not match. The arches were white while all other framings on every window were a sand color. They said they don't paint the arch portion of windows, which is different from the answer we received during the sales process. After several conversations and months later they did paint the arches to match all the other frames. We switched some windows from side by side double hung windows to either a picture or sliding window. The crew left molding there that now didn't fit with the new window size. It was an obvious issue. We had to schedule another time to install the additional windows and rectify identified issues. We later noticed cold air coming through the windows, more gaps between frames and walls, thus additional air & heat costs. Also alarm system contacts had been sealed in some window frames but pulled out in other windows so we could reuse them. The inconsistency resulted in us having to pay to get the alarm system re-wired. We called Window World about the issues, they determined what would be needed and scheduled a crew to come out for what should take approximately 2 hours. That crew came out, looked at all the issues and determined it would take a crew of people a full day to correct all the issues that had been identified and they identified additional issues. This crew was surprised the job had been signed off as complete with so many issues. We rescheduled again and they came out to fix everything. In the April timeframe, we were still having windows installed/replaced and also noticed rainwater coming into the house. We reported this issue and provided pictures of the water standing in water sills and spilling over to my hardwood floors. Another Window World project manager finally came to my home on August 6 to look at the windows that have obvious issues. It was determined the largest window (4 windows across with large half round) was put in incorrectly and needed to be replaced. Other windows with issues were looked at and it was confirmed they had installation issues as well. While some were caulking issues, the contractor that came out couldn't figure out why one of the windows was leaking. He pointed out other issues and said he wanted to discuss with the team for next steps and left. I called the office several times, no resolution. During one of the heaviest rain seasons, water was still coming into my home, creating damage and quite simply irritation on our part of having to clean up water puddles and have damage to drapes. More issues were identified and documented. We had yet another contractor, Malcolm, come to our home on Oct 20. Identified more issues. He walked around the property and called Carl because he couldn't figure out resolutions to some issues. He agreed to talk to Brandon in the morning and reach back out to us to let us know the plan. No response until I sent a written complaint to them on Nov 3. Biggest frustration is having them come to my house for non-productive appointments during a pandemic without masks. I don't even have family & friends over, but this company thinks it is ok to put my family's health in jeopardy.

We were very pleased with the installation of our new windows from Window World. They look great! The windows actually arrived before the estimated delivery date. *** our sales rep was knowledgeable, discussed the different choices, was friendly , and quoted us a good price. The team of three that came out were very good ; they observed Covid precautions by wearing a mask when on the inside as I had requested. They were professional and friendly.
Over 7 thousand in windows and all are leaking air around locks. Condensation on all windows. Storm door screen frame bent. NO *** provided.
Fantastic! Honest and truthful, nothing hidden. Installers were amazing on our sales rep was so helpful
Windows are beautiful. But I couldnt open one of them (in the bathroom). I called to schedule someone to come fix it. This appointment got rescheduled three times including once on the same day of the appointment after it had been confirmed the day before by the tech. When the tech finally got here (after more than four months) he spent one minute to say the window needs a new sash. They ordered a new sash and rescheduled someone to come out again in another two months. That tech came and said it doesnt need a new sash, instead it needs another part. He went to his car to see if he had that part but he didnt. In the meantime he showed me another way to open the window, and scheduled another tech to come out. Now the window will open but wont close all the way and I cant lock it. They are sending another tech next week. I have spent a lot of money with this company, but I would not use them again.
