WoodSprings Suites noise complaint

I have been a guest here for a couple of months now and everything is going almost well here for me, accept when I talk to the front desk about my noise complaint. I come to see that the managers are not being very consisting about my noise complaint, because if that was true I still wouldn't be having this same problem that is happening for the second time now. Theses manager need to be more direct about how important it is to ask guest and let know that loud noise pass curfew is not accepted, and this comes with more than one warning about the noise. So with that being said I'm a little upset that this issue has not been solved.

WoodSprings Suites payments without authorization

I have been staying at the location in Fern Creek KY since August 1, 2017. I pay cash a few times a week. On a few occasions I have used my credit card.
Once in mid August and once in late August my mother (as a gift) put a couple nights on her debit card. This was done over the phone and was for a set amount of time. She is not named on my room and I am not named on her card. There was an incident on September 5th when I called to see what I would need to pay until the end of the week, and Megan told me that my mothers card was charged. I asked if anyone called to get permission and was told no. I then asked her to refund that 83 or 84 dollars and REMOVE that card number from my account. She said she would take care of this. I assume it is all handled and continue on as I have been with cash payments. On September 20th, my mother called saying that the hotel has been charging her account. Her account was over-drawn. First time ever. She is 63 and never has this happen, ok...! I called immediately and spoke with Megan who said she would take care of it. When I called back my account had been placed under Pam's care for some reason. I assume she is a manager and ask her to please remove the card off the account. At this time we only are aware of the most recent charges from 9-19 and 9-20. My mother had to move money around and even the she was upset she said not to bother with a refund, just credit the $240.00 and $120.00 to my room and consider it another gift.
After speaking with Pam a second time to try to figure out why the card was not removed when asked on Sept. 5th, I found out that a number of other charges were charged to my mother's debit account. (As I mentioned she is 63 and has a flawless account. She has no reason to check her account daily or even weekly. These other charges she was unaware of .) This is stealing. Plain and simple. I expressed this to Pam and in a day or so the man I pay cash to no longer works there and I somehow still owe money. Pam now says the only card ever on my account is my mother's. (This is a lie that my mother, husband and sister are all witness to.) She will not refund my mom without me paying a balance.
Let's pretend this is not a crazy situation and I have not paid for a month. Is the hotel policy to take unauthorized money from a woman who does not stay in the hotel without notifying the card holder or room attendant? After all the card was supposedly removed from the account by Megan on Sept 5th.
During September no one has mentioned that i do not owe because they have been charging my mom's card. Payments are still being made at least 2x a week. Once i learned of the charges to my mother, I should have been a month ahead or more with those. Only a couple days ahead after the refund (that still has not been made).
I will be working on getting in touch with the night attendant I paid, and until then I will be moving to a different hotel until my apartment is ready. I cannot in good conscience pay in cash or give any personal account (card) information to this Pam woman and feel safe with the end result. I have stayed in this exact hotel a number of times in the past with my husband during the remodeling of our place and have never had only one issue before. We briefly had a payment credited to the wrong room in February, but that was quickly fixed. Our plan was to stay for at least another month. This money will be in another company's pocket now. Thank Pam if you will.
The real issue is the money taken from um=y mothers account without any type of permission what so ever. This needs to be addressed with or with out me settling what ever may be owed. This will be resolved at a later time over Pam's head. As she cannot be trusted. I feel almost like a crazy person even writing this letter. But after a week of dealing with Pam and the disappearance of employees and paperwork I am only left with a crazy situation.

After a couple months solid at this location the night manager suddenly disappeared along with 2 weeks of my payments. Instead of contacting me to pay or at least notify me of anything, they took my things and put my pet out. When i showed up after work I had the money to pay and tho i was very upset i figured i would take this up with the higher up management. When i asked about my things it took over an hour for them to track it down and it was taken by another employee. Not put in the office or even in the trash. Taken by an employee. Not everything was returned either. Calling BBB.

WoodSprings Suites incident of death

I would like to report a significant incident with the above establishment.
I had a sick relative (brother) residing in your facility. I called to check on him when he did not respond, this was not like him. I being his sister knew something was not right. He was 53 years of age and I am not blaming anyone I know how his death occurred. What I am saying is that the staff at this facility were rude. One in particular. I called and asked he said it was against policy to check on said resident, so I pleaded and he did say that he saw my brother’s car leave and must have returned. He told me on Sept. 18th that he checked his room and no one was there – he said he checked in the bathroom, under the bed, etc…which put my mind at ease a little. However, later discovering that he searched the wrong room. How difficult is it to confirm where a long-term resident lives. Kevin has resided there for many months on two separate occasions and because of his lying my brother remained in his room alone & dead for a longer period of time. I then had a female staff check on him the next day- she was a little nicer and said that she went to check and his door was “chained” or the bar was across. She stated, “so he must be in there.” Well if he had blocked from inside knowing the concern due to illness she never attempted verbal contact. I just do not understand policy or not the extent of concern for human life.
So needless to say the whole situation is tragic. I had a friend of his locally go the evening of the 19th at 9:30 pm or so and this is when she checked for him- I am writing this because of the entire situation. I called the Police to do a wellness check the morning of the 20th of September 2017 and finally found out. I reside 7 hours away and with no help or assistance from your staff- facility and the blatant lies. It was later told to me that the staff checked the wrong room. So this amount of time I was thinking that my brother was not at home.
I will be pursuing this unsure of where it may go. I feel that your establishment was negligent and careless – He was 53 years of age and the outcome would probably not have been different but the dignity of my brother would have been handled a little better. Your corporation needs to really look at this and render a protocol for emergencies.

Kelly Johns I am staying at one of the WoodSpring Suites hotels. Due to privacy laws, they have locks on the inside of the doors that prevents the hotel staff from just entering my room. They should have went to the correct room.. yes but it wouldn't have changed anything. They just would have found him dead sooner. I would let it go.

WoodSprings Suites customer service

9/19/2017 Due to Hurricane Harvey I was displaced and had to find a hotel to stay recommended by FEMA. I decide to stay at Woodspring suites in Conroe. I have allergy asthma and I requested a non-smoking room. John never told me that there are NO non Smoking rooms left! (which would have been helpful and I would have booked elsewhere). The guy at the front desk was John, was racist and was very disrespectful to me to point I had to call the police after I requested to check out due to they only have smoking room and my health was in danger. He told me that he WILL NOT check me out of the FEMA system for 1 week after telling him he cant do that b/c I spoke with FEMA. Finally, he said the next day he will, I wasn't able to stay in that smoking room and left to go to another hotel but had to pay their room rate at $120.00 due to John not taking me out of the FEMA system. He said that he will be refunding my 10.56 for lien fees b.c I only stayed for 1 night and handed my some BS receipt stated that I got my refund. But John really charged me and I would like my monies back plus $120.00. I am not going to go in too much detail about the nasty things that was said to me before the police showed up. But overall it was a very embarrassing and stressful situation dealing with John and staff. He told me that I couldn't leave b/c nobody is there to clean the room I was staying in. But, when I went back to floor 4 notice a cleaning staff, so I took a picture. I have so much more to say, I also record everything that was said to me.

WoodSprings Suites theft / unauthorized charge

In august I went to work daily early upon my 2 wk maid cleaning service I returned after a 12hr work day an noticed my sentimental silver/gold cross ring was missing{ a gift upon my fathers passing} I filed a police report but this never investigated by the current manager> I was pissed! Upon check-out I was charged on my debit card $2228.00 by accident my butt had to call my bank {fraud division} to quickly cancel an stop that payment, I wanted to file criminal charges against the desk clerk for un-authorized chrges!
Do not consider this place legit!

WoodSprings Suites charged several weeks for linen service

I have been staying here since July 26, have never had sheets changed, have exchanged towels only 3 times and not told there was a charge. Manager then told me I could only exchange on cleaning days without charge. I asked for a printout of my bill, saw I was charged several weeks for linen service, never had it, and was told it was due to requesting toilet paper and garbage bags several times. Manager was rude and I am very upset with both the bogus charges, and being told so many different accounts of these services. I would like these unfair charges reversed as soon as possible. Also when I asked the housekeeper to change sheets only once on cleaning day, she did not, and I had been staying here for over a month at that time. I feel that I have been treated very poorly here in regards to these matters, and would not recommend this hotel to anyone in the future. Today is September 7, 2017. Thank you.

WoodSprings Suites hotel

Original reservation made here for business training in Mobile, AL.for a 8 day stay in a non smoking room/clarified prior to arrival smoking allergy.Upon arrival room appeared clean; settled in for the evening.Noticeable smoking at entrances cigarette butt's and smoking paraphernalia.as the night proceeded, it became apparent that there had been excessive smoking all night my room filled with smoke odor ; my son's nose was running all night there was coughing, sneezing.I awoke with headache, waking throughout the night unable to breathe. I awoke with bloodshot eye's, running nose and constant coughing/sneezing, and a cockroach on my chest there are picture's to confirm.I went to the front desk to attempt to resolve this issue the original lady at the front desk apologetic; contacted the assistant manager that live's in the building.Said she would be right down; 20 minutes later, I'm in between business call's my son stood watch at the desk awaiting assistant manager arrival. I return he had still not called to alert me to come to the desk. I return to desk as I need to shower resolve issue and proceed with business, a second woman is at the desk after a couple minutes I asked if possibly she was the assistant manager? She replied yes, did not offer her name, badge turned backwards so I could not see her name. I explained that I had severe allergy's to smoke prior to reservations, in a loud aggressive tone stated that the room was none smoking and it did not smell like smoke. I requested her to please walk down and check out the room odor. She refused saying she cleaned the room yesterday herself and new it didn't smell like smoke, and the person in room before me was long term and a cardiac patient & they did not smoke either. I again explained that it's coming from the surrounding rooms; she refused to acknowledge my pleas. I originally considered another room, as its Labor Day weekend everything is booked. I am here preparing for my flood deployment at ground zero in Houston after Harvey, my week has been spent on the road between Florida, Texas, Louisiana and Alabama. I showed her the picture of the roach on my chest in bed, again she gets louder saying that is due to rain and not filth; not once did she apologize or ask how to help make better. I explained I'm a RN as well as Catastrophe Adjuster and very aware of the multiple reasons why I might have German cockroaches. She said "Oh yes .. Where did you receive your degree? I replied University of Mobile" . She then continues to escalate in tone and confrontation. States she has a nursing degree too and she knows I didn't learn about roaches in my nursing education. I at this point laughed took a deep breath ; replied Microbiology is one of the sciences in nursing -We learn about roaches etc in the studies of epidemiology. She continues speaking in a hostile and aggressive manner my 13 year old son witnessed the entire exchange. Attempting to get a resolution I explained that I'm not going to continue in a pissing contest - I'm the customer not a defendant; she continues to escalate. I then let her know I had a recorder going as we use them in adjusting to prevent he said she said events. She then agrees to refund my money- I paid for the 8 days up front via company travel agent. I explained that I expected a full refund; she refused saying she was refunding the rest of my 7 day stay that's all & that was breaking the rules. Not one time did she apologize and she had two others hanging around - I'm sure to act as witnesses. I was scared to continue to attempt conversations as she wants to fight and it's clear. I alerted her conversation is recorded again, witnesses won't work. I'm packing room up to depart and she's sending a guy down to inspect us loading. She then comes down with her dog and pacing parking lot. Beyond belief is my response. I attempted to call cooperate and report issue. Out until 9/5/2017 as its Labor Day.
She as well let me know the housekeeping didn't show up etc so a room change would take a while as she would be cleaning rooms again.
Wow just wow...
I would investigate this facility, maybe a secret shopper, with a complaint, etc. The smell through out night was a reminder of the remains and odorous smell from meth cooking in combination with cigarette smoke. I in my former career was not only an RN but worked in ER Psych Intake where I encountered meth manufacturers often and the smell is unmistakable. I experienced a severe reaction the following day.

WoodSprings Suites customer service

I notified the attendant at the front desk(John) that my room didn't get cleaned on my scheduled day, he informed me that it was possible the cleaning crew had missed it. I thought that sounded possible, wasn't upset, mistakes happen it's only human. The rooms here are scheduled to be cleaned every two weeks, so it was only logical to expect that in two weeks it would get cleaned. Well i was wrong. John had been helpful in the past for minor occurrences including needing my room key reactivated and some towels and toilet paper and so on, but not very professional with his human interaction. Needless to say this is the 5th or 6th week my room has been "overlooked". Today when I told him yet again that it hadn't been cleaned he shrugged it off and said " What Evs". Very unprofessional and not fitting of someone who works with customers and potential customers. The company that is paying for my room has several rooms here . Unfortunately I've heard several other complaints from other guests due to rude customer service, filthy linens, moldy shower curtains, spiders and bugs in the rooms and several more. We will be leaving and paying the thousands you've lost to one of your competitors. Thank you.

WoodSprings Suites hotel staff and their thief policy that nonexistent

I have been staying in the woodspring suites hotel in Maryland at the Andrews Air Force location for about a month. They allowed housekeeping to get away with stealing from my personal belongings and didn’t do anything about it as far as following up with me on the police report that was filed and as well as what we could do to correct the issue. All the manager said was they haven’t had a incident like this in years and it’s very unlikely that it was stolen. How was a ring that was in a piece of clothing, in a zipped pocket, laying across a chair under 2 garments of clothing get moved and the ring end up missing? I wear my engagement ring everyday so how the hell would I not know what happened to it if they weren’t in my room? Been here almost a month and that’s the first time they come clean my room since I been here and the first time something ends up missing. I will be forced to file charges with the district court since the manager at the hotel didn’t want to correct her staffing error (stealing) issue. I will get a answer one way. Either through court or cooperation from the staff. Never have I ever had to deal with such unprofessional staff that shows no empathy towards another. Woodspring Suites you need to hire better staff or have a better policy instilled because I know that I’m not the only one who has had this problem with them. I’m just the only one who chose to speak out. I will continue to do so until this matter is solved.

WoodSprings Suites pathetic wifi and rude staff

We were told WiFi was available but inspite of complaining several times there was no solution provided. When forced them to rectify the issue they simply asked us to leave. Worst service ever. Staff behavior is damn rude. This hotel is at Mapleshade Lane Plano. Never check into this hotel ever. I am gonna lodge a complaint to the consumer board and sue them for sure.

WoodSprings Suites manager

Would like a response back. Management is horrible at the West Haven location. One of the married guests is sleeping with the manager Ashley and supporting her drug habits. Everything is backwards. Sia should be running that place. Nothing but awesome customer service from her. Everything is always dirty and maybe its cause the manager is not in her right state of mind half the time.

We checked in on the 24th of June. Manager refuses to give us a discounted rate for being here over a month. Unless we pay cash...then i don't know what she did the first week. Charged me 231 for a week according to the receipt but charged me 419.00. Isn't all there most the time cause is high on drugs. Asks everyone for drugs. Makes the company look BAD.

WoodSprings Suites unauthorized charges to my credit card

On 7/20/2017 I made a reservation through booking . com to stay at wood-spring suites in Daytona beach Florida for 2 nights. the reservation was made approximately 2 hours before the deadline for check in, which i was not made privy to. upon making the reservations, it was stated that my credit card would not be charged until i checked in however, this was not honored. when when I contacted booking.com they told me that the reservation would be cancelled without any charges because there was not allot of time between when the reservation was made and when the deadline for check in would be. booking .com did their part in trying to get this matter resolved however, Wood-spring suites is making it extremely difficult. when I contacted Wood-spring suites i spoke to the front desk attendant and she assured me that the reservation would be cancelled and i would not incur any charges. The attendant went on to cancelling the reservation while i was on the phone ant told me that the cancellation was completed. I have the conversations on recording. however, my card was charged and this agreement was not honored.

WoodSprings Suites prostitution expected

The Woodsprings Suites located at 1646 West 3500 South in West Valley City, Utah 84119 has a manager named Brandon Gillins who allows sexual harassment and solicitation of prostitution against his female employees. There are many mentally ill, and drug addicted guests staying at the Woodsprings Suites on a long term basis, many of the according to Brandon have their rents paid by the LDS Morman church local bishop. Many of the males guests are sleazy and have unsavory characters who harass and solicit prostitution from the female employees. The housekeepers are stalked and sexually assaulted while working in the rooms. Brandon Gillins refuses to let the female employees protect themselves against sexual harassment and attacks by working with the doors shut and locked behind them. Brandon seems to enjoy watching his employees being subjected to harassment.

They would not refund the 7 days we had already paid for but did not get to stay there!! It says no refunds in their policy book (funny how they do not give you that book until after you pay them), but who runs a business that way?! That is a...
