I live in summit crossings apartments with my 3 year old son
I live in summit crossings apartments with my 3 year old son. We're on the second floor and I got a 10 month lease from June 15th to April 14th. But on Thursday January 6th at 10:02 pm, the maintenance man who called himself the apartment manager and the police came to my door. The maintenance man said that me and my child were a disturbance because the neighbors can hear my son playing with his toys on the floor. He's only 35lbs so if you can hear every step he takes, it's the structure of the apartment not my child. They called the police on my baby and I recorded the entire ordeal. The cops did not make a report or take my name, but the maintenance man stood there telling me my child was a disturbance, and that he was going to the office with the complaint. That following day I spoke with the assistant manager who was rude and unprofessional. She gave me a violation but could not specify the violation noise. She didn't take responsibility for the fact that they placed me in this space knowing I had a child. I feel that me and my child are being discriminated and harassed. The person below me clearly has been here a while and they have chosen sides. But I'm not taking too many more violations before I take legal action. No one is taking into account that this is a 3 year old child, it's a pandemic, it's 20 degrees outside. I pay almost $1600 a month for this apartment and my child can't even play without these neighbors harassing us and now teaming up with the management to call the police on a 3 year old.

This place be chargin' late fees even after you done paid yo' rent
This place be chargin' late fees even after you done paid yo' rent. Then they tryna kick you out based on them late fees instead of non-payment of rent. That ain't right in Missouri, where they ain't supposed to charge more than 20% of the rent in late fees and then try to evict you. I was two days late cuz I'm a nurse and had to work a 36 hour shift. I was cool with payin' the $110.00 in late fees they charged me for them 2 days. I paid my rent and now they still chargin' me $10.00 a day until I pay all them late fees. And now they sayin' them late fees is part of the rent, which is against the law. This company is straight up shady.
I live at the downtown Lofts and the toilet has been clogged for months in my unit
I reside at the downtown Lofts where the toilet has been clogged for months. The property management team is never available. Their contact options don't allow reaching a live person. Despite filing maintenance requests and being told the issue is escalated, nothing improves. The building has significant plumbing issues. Calls only reach voicemail, and the provided email addresses are unresponsive. There's no direct contact for the Lofts, just a generic contact form. I'm considering moving to a unit with functional plumbing or seeking funds to relocate.
