I paid additional money to WES for expedited delivery of my transcripts to the school. But WES not only lost the package ( delivered to a wrong place) but also never refunded the additional amount ( for expedited delivery).
They informed that although I did full payment to WES for the delivery, If the package is not delivered I should talk to UPS.
My question is, if they want full payment, then that's OK, but if package is not delivered, I need to follow with UPS. Why?
Even if I take that. When all know that there is a delivery issue and even WES admit it. then also they are not returning the additional payment I did for expedited delivery.
Since in the whole mis-management, I did lost critical time and I paid additional to get the package delivered next day and not after 15 days.
Their customer care is also horrible. You call and you get one advice. disconnect and call again, you will get another advice.
I request all of you, if someone has a better option to go with than WES (Infact there are plenty), please go with them. Otherwise you will lose your money, time and energy just trying to follow up with them.
(They never inform you. You have to proactively check every details.)

I have sent twice my sons exam results to be evaluated by WES. They are telling me I didn't follow the correct procedure. I went in person to both school and college, they stamped and signed the documents and they placed in a sealed envelope which was stamped and signed. My son due to go to USA in 3 weeks. I have applied for a transcripts report on 8th July from WES. I had prepared for all the required documents(photo1) and called for a confirmation. On 16th July, they received all the required documents for my verification that they listed on the websites. On 23th July, they updated my status and said that they will need one more documents: Electronic Verified Report (photo2). I have confirmed with the Chinese institution which issues this report, they said it will take up to 18 business days to process that.
I should have received my report by now, instead, I will need to wait another 18 days and longer since they will need me to send the Electronic Verified Report by postal mail. I won't be able to catch up for the deadline for the submission of the transcripts and this will influence my enrollment in school this fall. This is the first time I intended to study in the United States, I am really anxious if I ruin this because of the report.

What a terrible company, service and customer relationships ! I am so unhappy and disappointed and dissatisfied with their service. I sent my official documents twice both for my graduate and post graduate education in an official sealed signed envelope. But they have accepted one of them but rejected the other. I've called the customer service. They insisted on that my documents haven't met the criteria. But my documents have met all the requirements. I resent them another copy of documents, I took images before I sent just to keep a proof. But they did the same. They ruined my original documents. They ruined my time. They ruined my money and finally they ruined my application. . I don't recommend this terrible company to anyone in the world.
poor customer support
I had completed wes ICAP evaluation on 26/07/2018 and apply for an duplicate evaluation report for APEGA. but after even 20 days
it shows pending. I lost about 300 dollar calling costumer care.
their are certain problems, I faced are listed below.
1. wes Canada did not have enough costumer support agents.
2. Even if they have they will take at least 5 min attend a call.
3. Their agents are so prejudice that, they do not had time to listen to their client query.
4. Client ask a question and they replay another.
5. They are very impatient.

My WES Reference No. is 3656279 and I have applied this application for update my masters degree in the existing WES report. I have given the sealed envelope received from my institute i.e. transcripts, verified mark sheets, verified degree certificate/provisional certificate.
WES dept. send a mail to me as well as institute at 15.06.2018 for re-verification of masters degree. Institute already sent documents at 10.07.2018 and status shows at my account is documents received and on progress.
Now, Again WEs department sent mail to me as well as the institute for again re-verification. Already the last time process takes 25 days. Now, which documents missing or details observed wrong in my case. So, I can easily described you.

education equivalency - email infos and outcome differ

I have a degree from a foreign country. I wanted to get the equivalency to my education. I emailed WES a couple of times to make sure that they could get it converted. They made it clear that it is possible and I needed to submit my transcripts.
I told them clearly that there would be nothing mailed from my country university. I followed their instruction and I mailed my transcripts and paid online in February.
I waited for weeks, months and every time I checked my status online - it read waiting on the transcripts from my country when I made it clear before my submission that there will be nothing coming from my country. I wrote emails repeatedly but they had the same response waiting on the transcripts from my country.
Finally after 5 months and many emails, I got my money refunded in June but was charged $50 as convenience fee which I was never told and I don't see that in WES website. I feel sorry for myself that I wasted my money and time hoping for a positive outcome and that I did not read the reviews about WES beforehand.
Is there no way that you can evaluate my education on the basis of the original transcripts I have? I have been in this country for more than 17 years and I am helpless as I don't know if there is even a way to contact my university back home. I would greatly appreciate it if you can please help and guide me on this.

I paid 212 dollars for a transcript that would be completed in seven business days. My transcript was sent to you on Wednesday May the ninth via courier from the overseas examination offices here in Jamaica . Your website specifically states that the evaluation process takes (7) business days to complete.
Today May 18, 2018 I got an email that states that the evaluation will not be ready for sending until the 29th of May this is unacceptable. That is 14 days after the required documents have reached you. I need someone to explain why this is so because i paid for it to be done in seven days. I am being offered a scholarship and working on a timeline.

This is regarding my Credentials which I sent to WES team. They have pointing issue with my documents and saying that my transcripts are college made whereas they are generated from university only. In spite various justifications on my side, their staff is not really not caring and looking for the case. Each time I am getting same unexplained answer. This is really a mess to deal with them.

Wes has been rejecting my degree certificate for enugu state university of science and technology, enugu, nigeria, initially I sent my statement of account for degree certificate twice to wes and it was not accepted saying it is not legible, I then faxed the original degree certificate, but it was rejected please can this be looked into.

Hi, please note that I received evaluation today for the reference 3530301 . The status is showing recognized program but from a non recognized institute. I didn''t understand this since course is recognized why the institute is not. Also, the institute is recognized as per WES website and many of my college mates already got recognized please find attached one evaluation done by my friend . Please note that my college has no more affiliation with the certificate issuing institute which is SAE institute but during my course time it was and that''s why SAE institute issued the documents in favour of me. wes evaluation for diploma = secondary school diploma
I would like to inform everyone planning to do WES evaluation for a Diploma degree that it is an absolute waste of money and in the end they give you an evaluation equal to a secondary diploma. We spend 17, 800 INR to start the evaluation process and nearly 15, 000 INR to get agents in India to send the documents to WES. Might I add that they require your 10th and 12th certificate in addition to Diploma certificate, Marklist and transcript. After all this process, they give the evaluation report stating that the result is secondary diploma. My husband has a nursing DIploma which has a registration license in two countries - India and Qatar. He has passed the prometric exam for nurses and has been working fro the past two years as a licensed nurse in Qatar and 3 years before that as a registered Staff Nurse in Government of India. I really dont understand how all this becomes invalid for WES. If anything, at least it should be equivalent to Diploma. Or the money should have been refunded.
So please do not opt for WES evaluation if you have a Diploma degree because apparently WES hasnt heard of Diplomas. Whereas all other evaluation services accept your 3 year Diploma degree and even vertify it to be equivalent to Bachelors degree.
Might I also add that this evaluation leaves you with only 2 points, which should otherwise have been 8 points for the Canada migration CRS score.

I have submitted my application on July 19th, 2017 for education assessment with WES i.e. Reference Number: 3327229. I submitted all the required documents as requested by WES before October 2017. However, on October 11, 2017, my application was put on hold pending verification by educational institute. Getting the degrees verified is fair enough if they assessing officer has any doubts. However, they do not have any proper process in place to get this verification done and they simple send letter to university and wait for them to revert. It has been more than 6 months since my application has been put on hold and every time I raise query to their customer contact with regards to any ETA or any action on my side for completion of verification, they just have standard answer that they will wait for the educational institute to reply.
They are charging such a high amount for assessment of education credentials, they should have a proper process for verification of documents when required with fixed TAT. It cannot take forever to get the verification done.

My name is Valentin Mladenov and I am EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED by the customer support representative that I just talked to. You can go over your records and identify her (I did not catch her name). She was not only getting frustrated at me in the beginning, but also she was not receptive of what I told her, and at the end even hung up the phone without finishing the conversation, because "there are other more important customers that I have to assist".
This is ridiculous, especially now when Customer Obsession, is the focus of so many companies. I demand a written apology (over email will be enough) from that person.
Furthermore, I would like to speak with a supervisor about my case or I want my money back and I will try another certification institution, because the services offered by WES are simply appalling.
My case is the following (I have explained it three time already and once in an email): I am a Bulgarian citizen and the Bulgarian diplomas have to be verified with an apostille (so far - so good). I have an ORIGINAL apostille (by the Ministry of Education) attached to a notary certified copy of my diplomas. And to the copy (and the ORIGINAL apolistille) is attached the official translation of the diploma. I agree, this is a unique case, so I tried calling your service line in January to explain to them what is the case. I was assured that as long as the apostille is an ORIGINAL - it is OK. So I sent my documents to WES only to receive a rejection that I have sent "a copy of the apostille" which is not true. Then I tried calling 3 (three) times trying to resolve the issue and the second time I was asked to also write an email. I did write an email with the explanation above and I did not receive any answer. Today, I called again, only to be frustrated even further by your incompetent staff.
In summary, I would like to speak to a supervisor, or anybody actually capable of making decisions. And, in case the decision is to "play by the rules", which I always get from your questionably trained staff and which I still think I already did, I want my documents (which ARE THE ORIGINALS) and my money back.
