WorldRemit my account was disabled

Ive been using World Remit for over a year, today i tried to send money and was notified my account was disabled for no apparent reason

WorldRemit Payment not received

I sent money on 08/6/21 to 2 recipients in Zambia through bank transfer, the money was for clearing agent, customs for the truck, insurance, tax and registration of the vehicle. The truck arrived in Namibia on 3/6/21. The driver who went to pick the truck got stuck in Namibia due to delay of funds.

Two days later I received this message "We're sorry but our partner in Zambia is having technical issues that may delay your transfer. We'll update you once service is restored" and this went on till Friday 11/6/21.

I called world remit and spoke to Rosewell who said that the precipitants didn't provide proper ID that is why money has been delayed. My nephew works in the same bank and I sent the money to him before and he told me no funds has been received or pending. I told Rosewell to cancel the translations and her reply was the repaint will receive the money, I reminded her how can they receive the money when you just said they can't. She then said that "our partner exchange4free are holding the money. I got the number for their partner and spoke to Mitch who denied that they have anything to do worldremit's account, they just act as agents and they don't hold money for worldremit

I then got this today"Your transaction [protected] cannot be processed as your recipient's bank account number is not correct". I called world remit back and I was informed that the transition was in fact not cancelled. I query why it the was case, Deleno didn't have the answer. I again advised for the 2 transitions be cancelled and have my money back asap. Deleno said he was going to deal with it asap.

I called back World remit again today 14th and spoke to Kaye after receiving another email saying the same thing about recipient's back details not correct, then Kaye said the bank details are invalid. I said to her how absurd that sounds, after 7 days waiting for money for your partners in Zambia having technical issues resolved and now I m being told bank details are invalid? Then around 12 pm I got this message.

"Hi Charity,

We haven't heard anything else from you, so we'll be closing your case. Don't worry, you don't have to do anything.

If you don't feel that your question has been fully resolved please reply to this email and we will follow up.

If you need anything in the future, please contact us again by submitting a new query from the Contact Us page on our website.

Kind regards,

WorldRemit Customer Service".

I called again and demanded to speak to manager who didn't give his name and he said the transitions have been cancelled and you will receive notification via email and text message, and that money will take 7 working day to appear in you account, it's now 19:05 pm and have not received nothing. I just want my money back, I have been inconvenienced and I am paying charges for the truck at the Zambian board. This is unacceptable behavior and an cold for putting me under stress. They have made me spend more money unnecessarily.

WorldRemit Unautorized Transaction

Someone made an unauthorized transaction using my debit card. This company is impossible to get ahold of on the phone. I have sent an email and I have called my bank. I want my money back. It is ridiculous that this company (that I have never heard of) doesn't have more security measures to prevent this sort of activity from happening. I want my money back.

Same thing just happened to us on our credit card. Never heard of this company until now but somehow over 8k was extracted from us. We are working on our dispute of charges now. Ridiculous and unfair!

WorldRemit Tried to send money to help friend natalya zhuravleva

I am not an expert at computers so sometimes make mistakes-I first tried to sign up on my phone then thought it would be easier on library computer? I after a few trys figured out how to send it then my bank rejected it. I went to them said I wanted it to help my friend visit me, then did again rejected again by back they thought it was fake then told them its ok they said yes then you reject it? WorldRemit Refund taking long-87335896

Please my you assist
have been following up for my refund for the transcation was done on the 16th March 2021. Firstly l faced challenges in uploading my ID on the otherwise non user friendly website. After having successfully managed to send through one of the agents, l was then asked for the bank statement which l did. This to and from communication time frame 1 month!

l was promised that the refund will be on my way to the bank within "7 working days. The agents l chatted with showed me that there is no team work and beginning to suspect l will never get the refund within"7 working days "Nothing never materialized since 7 April.
Was requested on multiple occasions to send the bank statement which l did and promised finance team has approved my refund. When l am
l have saved the transcripts of every chat l did from the several chats and have used to much data and lost much time which is quite distressing.
Please find attached all the transcripts
Money left my account to your account instantly, now its taking forever to be returned.
Extremely disappointed with the frustrastion games. My email address is [protected]@yahoo.com and will reflect the transcation in question. l have downloaded the transpcripts l saved chatting with the virtual agents.

WorldRemit remittance not receive by the recipient

i did used the service yesterday and paid for the fees and the services
(GCASH) its been 24hrs that until now my recipient still havent receive the payment. customer service is horrible different kind of excuses they took the money out right away into my bank account & refund will be 7 to 10 bussiness days different falsified infomation given, HORRIBLE COMPANY BEWARE, DO NOT USE WORLDREMIT.

WorldRemit Can not get any customer service to resolve a problem!!!

The name I entered for my transaction did not match the ID card. Even prior to submitting transaction I tried to update the name but the site would not allow me to update. The recipient tried to pick up funds as they are in transit and he couldn't pick up d/t name dissimilarities. I attempted once again to update the information but again was blocked from doing so. I also attempted to cancel the transaction, but the site would not allow me to do that either! I Attempted to call the customer service number and entered my transaction ID, but the "agent" robot said that they didn't have my number on file. This is very frustrating and now I am at a loss as to what to do with no PERSON to speak to about it.

WorldRemit Money sent and the recipient hasn't received the money

Today the 04/24/2021, I BATE NKWETI MANGWI GISLA with phone number +[protected] based in the USA sent $590 to FOKA JUSTIN based in Douala-CAMEROON with Orange mobile money phone number +[protected] and the money has not been delivered. My about has been debited. What is going on? Worldremit asked for a picture of my passport which I provided for verification but the transaction is not complete still. Why? Please, someone call me for clarifications.

WorldRemit No transaction number, no confirmation - this case is urgent!

Yesterday, I went online and sent money to kenya which is required urgently by a family in kenya to move back to their home county. This family is desperate and starving! Wr never sent me a transaction number or any indication of the transaction - I still have not heard from wr 1 1/2 days later. I checked my bank and the money has been withdrawn by wr. (I have sent money before to this family, so why the delay now?) all the helplines offered by wr does not help me as I have to first state a transaction number which I do not have. I have had zero response from wr. This is an urgent case. If wr cannot help me, then I would like an immediate refund so that I can find an alternative way to send the money to this desperate family. Please get back to me and let me know the status as this family has to vacate their home in two days time. No money means no food and they will be out living on the streets plus no means of travel back to their county. Please note, this is my correct surname:

WorldRemit Payment Not processed

I have sent money - 2 different transactions. I do this every month . Every now and again they withhold funds for no discernable reason. This time around they have asked me to verify the ID of the recipient, after I had already sent the money! the recipient of coz lives thousands of miles away in another country! I can verify my own ID no problem beggars belief why the recipient surely cannot verify their own ID at point of service. WR has then held the payment and so far have said i cannot cancel it as it is under review. I have gone ahead and cancelled it in my account but they will take 24hrs to APPROVE cancellation request. Disgusting. My recipients do not have the means or sophistication to take pictures of their IDs and send them as their reps were saying can easily be done. WR do not marginalise the communities you purport to serve.

WorldRemit account disabled

I have been using World Remit to send to family and friends for some time now in Nigeria and all of a sudden they disabled my account for security reasons. They charged my credit card and failed to send to to my recipient, I'm still waiting for my refund. WHATS THE PROBLEM WITH THIS COMPANY? case # [protected]. No one is scamming me. Is it because its going to Nigeria?

WorldRemit Money transfer

Made a transaction on the 14th of March 2021. It failed, but the money was still taken from my bank account. This was due to a delay in getting a text message from my bank in order to complete the transaction.
When going to contact Worldremit i soon discovered all routes to contact are blocked unless you have a transaction number or case number.
I can't get a transaction number as the transaction isn't showing up on Worldremit due to it failing, and can't open a case without a transaction number, so left in limbo. Hence the compaint

WorldRemit Regarding cancellation

I am not happy with a service at all I have been used WorldRemit for the past 5 years ago I never had any issue but since last two weeks I started hate the service I sent the money to tanzania did not go thru then I received an email asked me if I can provide ID from the guy I sent the money to than I made phone call spoke to one of stuff told him I want to cancel and refund my money back cause there's no way I can send ID the guy told his already asked for cancellation but I didn't hear anything from it than I made another phone call tell them about cancelling and refund my money said the same they have requested for cancellation waitting for responding the funny thing today I received another email with red note said I still have to provide an ID even tho I want refund back this is unacceptable cause if they asked my ID I could understand but someone else ID and you guys holding someone money because need to provide ID while already said I won't be able to provide then still holding my money for almost 3 weeks now is this fair to do this

WorldRemit Am I need of help immediately

WorldRemit Transaction [protected] not refunded

I Sent CAD 85 to Colombia on February 3th. After three days it wasn't paid to the person I sent the funds, so I decided to cancel the transaction on Feb 6th. at today February 24th I didn't receive my money back. I called several times to their customer service and they tell me that the problem will be solved in 24 hours but three weeks after I don't have a solution for this.
