I made a payment to worldremot on the 9/11/18 from Australia to be transferred to Nigeria. A total sum of $6000 was deducted from my account but the transaction was not processed and payment has not been received. Its 3 days now and all endeavors to reach worldremit customer service team here in Australia has been abortive. My transaction number is ETZWR31602045. I hope you will look into this matter as urgent as possible and get it resolved.

My account was disabled after being a customer for over two years and they wouldn't state a valid reason other the fact that out of nowhere my account doesn't meet their approval criteria . I hope this company is shutdown or investigated by the government as they are misleading customers by not disclosing their policy before collecting personal and sensitive data. Time will tell how far this will go on.

Why is this necessary?

Approach
In practical terms, this project have already started promoting various Artist from all over the world on our radio Station every Saturday and also on all our Social media platform, and this will be done till the day of the Award event proper and even afterwards. These promotion is targeting everyone, both the youth, the middle age and even the old. Most interestingly it targets even other people in other countries, as a result of promoting various artist from all over the world, then it's a sure fact that many outside the country will be reached, already we have a lot of response internationally.
This events will be a days event such as last year, which is about 4-5 hours program. It will start with a classy Red carpet Interview sessions and paparazzis. Afterwards acknowledgement of our sponsors, followed by Guest Artist Music presentations and then the Award presentations.

August 29, 2018 I just mistakenly send money to the account of World Remit, So I requested for a refund, and then I called the World Remit Customer Service they said that provide all the document that certifies that I sent that transaction to World Remit Account then I send all of this documents to certify that I send money to World Remit's account and to inform them that I have bank account in Sumitomo Mitsui Bank Corporation or SMBC. I used online banking on SMBC's website while transacting to World Remit, The last message I recieved from World Remit Customer Service is September 4, 2018 they said Kindly allow 3-4 working days for the funds to reflect your SMBC bank account. We expect the funds to reach your account later part of this week until now still there's no update about my refund.

I am residing in Australia. I transferred $48600 through world remit to be receivied in India by my father. I did this transaction on the 28th of August. The compliance team picked this transaction up and asked me to send my most recent payslips which I did and then my bank statements again I complied. Then they asked me where I got the money from which was borrowed from my friend which clearly is stated on my bank statements. After that I haven't heard from the compliance team. I have emailed them the same again and again but no response. Hence I tried cancelling the transaction from the last three days from 10th September. The consultant over phone told me they are waiting on the compliance team to respond. I said I would like to talk to compliance as they are not responding to my emails. Was informed that compliance don't take calls only communicate through emails. I am stuck and my money is with world remit from two weeks now. Please help me here on what forum to escalate this to as world remit does not seem to be hearing me.

I have asked for a refund of a cancelled transaction on my WorldRemit account. They have held my savings (funds that I was trying to send back home) for over a week. I provided them with my bank statement and identification, even proof showing that I saved this money, bit by bit over time. Trying to prove to them that I do not partake in any suspicious activity. I believe they are trying to steal my money or hold it back in their Barclays account, on the basis of account review. I have told them, that if I have anything to hide, I wouldn't have sent them my bank statements etc. I will go on all platforms to state that until I get my funds, since the transaction has been cancelled. I have no trust in this company or their activities. They have not proven to me, by their silence, that customer satisfaction and transparency is their watchword. I can attach photos of the conversation with them for proof, if need be.

I made a transfer to Zimbabwe on the 25th of August via World remit from Netherlands of US$2800. The payment has not been received yet, and I have written to WorldRemit customer service, and also called but up to now they have not acted yet on releasing the payment or returning the money to me. I normally use Western Union and wish I had stayed bevause World Remit are pathetic. After having a phone interview with compliance to get account up, I was then emailed and asked to send more info. I did that and called to confirm. They said they received it and would forward to compliance. 24 hours later they still hold my $12, 000 AUD ransom and because it was emergency (why else would I use this as opp See to bank transfer) this company has cost me $35, 000 in lost deal that the funds were meant to be for. The crazy thing is I sent 3 transfers but the 2nd one was the only one to go through yet they state that compliance needs to sign it off. I asked them to cancel the transfer so I could go back to WesternUnion but they said they cannot. I will now be speaking with ACCC and Federal police as I believe they are using my funds whilst stalking me. I will also be seeking legal advice around my loss of $35k. DO NOT USE THEM. STICK WITH WESTERN UNION
So after waiting 26 hours for a response they now cancel my account and state 2-3 business days to return MY CASH that was free in my account before Worldremit took it. 100% scam. Do not use this company. I'm about to get in the car and storm into their office for an explanation.

They stated a referral credit of 35 aud and when we refereed a new ac and tried to make money transfer from it we just called the call centre to confirm on the cr they said taht the offer is not valid and takes 10 business days for it to b active n all irrelevant details. I would like to bring my experience with worldremit into your notice, I used to send money to Indonesia, the first 3 transfers were successful. I used to send money to US using Bank transfer (to Bank Of America), but this time i try to use worldremit.
The transfer was initiated on 27th July 2018 for $1400 USD, but until i write this complain (2 weeks after), the recipient still not received the money. All the details provided are correct in the transfer.
Tens of email has been sent to worldremit, I kindly ask worldremit to do investigation, worldremit asked for beneficiary's bank statement to proceed with investigation. I have explain the situation that beneficiary did not agree to share his bank statement as it contain personal information, etc and moreover worldremit is third party from recipient point of view. also he never heard of worldremit name before. bu the customer service still insist for the bank statement. Recipient called his bank and his bank advised not to share anything with anyone because of a lot of method of the scam this days.
as a oneway out, i asked beneficiary to get email from his bank confirming the credit is not received and then i forwarded their response to worldremit.
Then they response they cannot investigate further with recipient's bank.
i used some other services and never had any problem like this before.
I am really disappointed. This is really expensive lesson and cost me $1400 . i hope this also can be a lesson for all of the reader to not use worldremit service to send money . and if worldremit read this, i hope he understand better his customer and can further investigate the issue.

I send money for my account in brazil, the money never arrived, I contactedmy bank and they said that never received anything. I contacted world remit they said that will cancel the transaction and will put my money back. I ask for one formal document and they never give me. They never inform about anything. Never happened. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE to send money, ever. Just don't.
I have always used Western Union, but in a bid to save $125, I decided to send $2, 200 through WorlRemit instead. Boy was that a big mistake.
First the trap: they let me register my account, input recipient info as well as my payment info. They then confirmed the transaction AND debited $2, 200 from my bank account through my debit card. They issued me a confirmation receipt and I thought, great, this is no different than WU's great service and I've saved $125 on top of it. I send the transaction details to the recipient and thought I was all done.
The catch: 45 minutes later, I received an ominous email from Worldremit notifying me that they have disabled my account and would not be able to provide me service. Further, they make no mention of refunding my money. I check my bank account and see that my $2, 200 remain in Worldremit's possession.
I attempt to call them but their number made super difficult to find as if they are trying to hide. After a lot of googling, I find a number and call it. They put me on hold for 1 hour. Finally a smug customer service rep answers. After a brief exchange, he reads to me the same exact information that the email carried, that my account was disabled, that they won't provide me service, yada yada yada.
I ask him why? He has no clue. I ask where's my money. You can't disable my account and refuse me your service (your prerogative, knock yourself out), but then keep my funds. That is fraud. It is theft. And Worldremit is guilty as charged.
This crooked behavior has class action lawsuit written all over it. In the meantime, to save yourself and your loved ones precious time and headaches, you should steer very clear of these crooks.

On june 4th, I opened an account with world remit (customer no. Wr3175653)
So that I could transfer some of my savings from my bank account in japan into my australian bank account. As per instructions, I provided my social security number ("my number") uploaded a picture my photo id and a recent utility bill. Also, as per instructions, I started a transaction from my new account on the world remit website (transaction no. [protected]), and transferred ¥100, 000 into world remit's mitsui suitomo bank account.
I noticed after the transfer I had failed to include the ¥1 fee for the transfer, and the next day (june 7th) I sent an enquiry through world remit's website (case no. [protected]). The automated reply I received said that on average, it would take about 24 hours to respond. I noted that the website also indicated that my transaction was "in progress".
Two days later, on june 6th, having not received any response to my online enquiry, or any e-mail concerning my new account, I became somewhat concerned. This concern was briefly alleviated when I received some registered mail containing a hard copy of world remit's contract. The letter attached to the contract stated that on confirmation of my receipt of this contract they would begin to process my transaction, unless there were any other outstanding issues relating to the verification of my identity (for which, according to world remit's website, I would have received an email from the company informing me of such complications). I thought at this point that I would see some progress made in processing my transaction.
Another two days passed (june 8th), and still there had been no reply to my first enquiry, nor was there any change to the status of my transaction. Nor had I received any indication that world remit had received my money. I sent another online enquiry, asking that if world remit was unable to transfer my money, that they cancel the transaction and refund my money (case no. [protected]). The automated reply I received stated that the average reply time was 48 hours on average.
On monday june 11th, I still had not received a reply to either of my online enquiries. It was now one week since I had deposited my funds into world remit's account, and still there had been no change to the status of my transaction. I decided to cancel.
According to the automated replies I received, I could add further information to my online enquires by simply replying to the automated response. I did this, instructing world remit to cancel my transaction and to refund my money. The email was rejected. I tried a second time, and the same thing. The error code - 550 - indicated that the reason my email had been rejected was that my email had been blocked by the administrator.
I ended up sending a new email directly to [protected]@worldremit.com, including my case number from the second online enquiry ([protected]) instructing world remit to cancel my transaction and to refund my money back into my mitsubishi ufj bank account.
Two days later (wednesday, june 13th - nine days after I transferred my money into world remit's bank account), there still had been no reply, nor had there been any change to the status of my transaction. I called world remit's office in tokyo at around 9:30am. I spoke to someone called kim. After verifying my identity, he informed me that my transaction would be cancelled, that I would receive notification within 24 hours, and that the funds would be deposited into my bank account within three to five business days after I had been notified. I also note that on world remit's website they also state that "transactions are usually cancelled within 24 hours of the request."
It is now monday, june 18. It has now been two weeks since I deposited money into world remit's japanese bank account. I have had no notification from world remit. I have received no refund. The status of my transaction is still "in progress".
It's now Monday, June 25th. World Remit has now had my money for three weeks.

I confirm to send but after i send the money instead of taking a code its appear that my bank account wont allow.. How come it wont allow if my bank account send me the otp ...
