hotel booking - wrong room
We recently booked 3 comfort AC rooms for a holiday at Yelagiri. However after payment the confirmation email that we received indicated our booking for "Non AC" rooms.
We immediately informed Yatra about this goof up at their end. We have got no commitment from them to try and address this issue. All it probably takes is a call to the Hotel to fix the issue. The customer service remains non committal about trying to resolve the issue - despite the fact that the mistake is completely their own.
This is the last time we are ever booking through Yatra as our entire holiday now stands ruined because of their mistake.

Team Yatra failed to cover few places as they mentioned as per the Day wise Itineraryz.
AS per the plan below are Day2 and Day3 details.
Day 2
Port Blair to Havelock - Elephant Beach
Our staff drops you to the Jetty from where you will board the ferry to Havelock Island. Our Havelock staff will receive you at the jetty and transfer you to your hotel. Post your check-in you have the luxury to enjoy the resort beach and grounds.
we sail for Elephant Beach by sharing boat. The travel time is around 45 minutes to reach Elephant Beach. This beach has one of the best coral reefs in the world & the underwater marine life is very lively & colorful. Snorkeling shall be provided for the couple out here. Please do not forget to take snacks for the trip and lots of drinking water & changing dress for the day trip or advised. After the completion of the coral island tour, return back to resort in Havelock Island. We then head back to the hotel
My comments to Day2 trip,
As per the plan I need to travel from Port Blair to Havelock - Elephant Beach has to be covered, But its not happened.
My Mekruz ticket was book at afternoon 1:30PM from Port Blair and it will reach Havelock at 3:30 pm.
By the time I reach HaveLock its 3PM and the Travel Agent (Andaman Connections) person told me that they cant cover the Elephant Beach as due to time constraint, They infomed me that the last jetty/boat to retun from Elephant Beach is 3PM so that is the reason they can cover it. When the Itineraryz was shared by yatra to Travel Agent (Andaman Connections) they informed to yatra in mail that they can't cover Elephant Beach which is not shared with me (Yatra Negligence/recklessness) which is not at all convinced and excepted from Yatra.
Instead They took me to Radhanagar Beach which has to be coverd on the Day3 morning which you can see on Day3 plan.
When I was in Portblair I had reached out Yatra Customer service (Amandeeep singh & Pradeep Singh) and informed about this that they can not cover Elephant Beach as I got the information from local travel Agency (Andaman Connections). They promised me that all the tings will happen as per the schedule but it didn't happen in my trip plan.
Mainly I had missed the beauty of Elephant Beach which is very beautiful beach in Andaman and its has the Asia's 2nd best Coral's (missed Snoorkling). Which I may not go and cover in near feature.
As per the above email from Vivek Goswami he mentioned that: As a gesture of goodwill are crediting your yatra wallet with E-cash of INR 1000/-
If that is the compensation you are offering I demand 10000 rs (Ten Thousand Rupees) to be credited to my account. PBelow are the account number details

I Booked bus ticket through Yatra from chennai to bangalore on 25.09.18. @ 23.00 Hrs (.premium service )in SMPK Tours & Travels, boarding at koyambedu for an amount of Rs.1120
Details are furnished below:

A holidays package tour to Europe (Flavors of Europe) was booked on 21st july 2018 vide reference no. YH4349424/YA:[protected] to start the trip on 1st Sep 2018 and online payment of Rs.60000.00 was made vide ref no.IGADZYOVA6. The payment was acknowledged by yatra's executive Mr. Kumar Mayank.
On 24th july, it was informed by their executive that the departure date is going to be changed, as they are not gathering adequate tourists for the package. The next date was not suitable to me, as such tour was cancelled. Mr. Kumar Mayank assured me that refund will be credited in my account in next 6-7 working days.
It is regretted to inform that refund is not credited till 27th of sep.18. In mean time telephonic contact was tried but no response from their contact no.[protected] and they have blocked my registered mobile no. also. On dated 22 Aug 18, I tried to contact on their another toll free no.[protected] to get the status of refund, but on that no some Mr. Sahil tried to fool me and assured me that your agent Kumar Mayank will contact you soon. The complaint was also lodged on their portal but no response.
In this manner I have been cheated and Yatra seems to be a fraud company.

Yatra.com is a fraud company. They don't get business; hence, they earn money via different ways.
I was booked for a Europe trip. After making the booking payment of Rs. 60000, I stopped getting calls from agents. It won't be out of place to mention that till the time I made the payment, I was getting at least 2 to 3 calls every day since the day I approached them initially. Mr. Pradeep Sharma was the first point of contact there. I along with my husband must have received numerous calls till the time I made the initial payment.
Once the payment was done, I always called them for follow up. They lure the customers by showing incorrect prices on their website. At the time of initial booking the Euro price was nearly Rs. 78 and they offered the package based on Rs. 76. Please don't book with them as their services are pathetic, they don't speak with the customer in a professional way and they earn money with these booking amounts only.
The very next person whom I had to deal with was Mr. Sonu Yadav. He was least bothered about anything. It won't be out of place to mention that he is a rude employee of Yatra.com. He doesn't have sense to speak to customers. They have such a poor communication within team and they are so unconcerned that Mr. Sonu Yadav took our Visa appointment in Pune instead of Ahmedabad. It was I who figured it out during a general conversation. As agents were nowhere concerned about the customers, they didn't fill in the correct information in our forms which were sent for Visa application. And as expected, our Visa was rejected. We applied for Visa again and asked them to rectify things. They kept on saying it doesn't make any difference and asked us to apply same way. Our Visa was rejected for the second time. Despite my Visa was rejected, Mr. Sonu Yadav had the courage to ask me to pay the 50% amount of the total cost of the package. I spent almost Rs. 30000 in this process. Ultimately it was a loss of Rs. 90000 for no reason. On top of that, Yatra agents didn't bother to speak to us to refund our hard earned money i.e. Rs. 60000.
When I questioned that you didn't bother to fill our application properly twice, and kind of response I received in writing was shocking. The manager Ms. Suman Bhushan mentioned that in the group which I had to travel with - only 1 Visa is approved and rest all were rejected. That means nearly 20 or 24 Visas must have rejected. This clearly proves that they are inefficient or Yatra's reputation isn't good in the Embassy. And I strongly believe that is how they earn money. Just think that approx.. Rs. 30000*24 was looted from various customers for nothing. Yatra doesn't have business and professionalism. Hence, Yatra is making money by a loot.
Please be aware before contacting Yatra.com. I have lost money and they clearly stated that they won't refund. I also gave them an option if they can adjust this amount for some other location, but everything went in vain. They are not ready to talk or communicate. I hope this will help the innocent customers.

about luggage facility provided on student visa as we were doing our bookings
As we we doing our bookings for flight of qutar airways our payment somehow got stuck and immediately we got a call from Yates representative for assisting our bookings. In good faith that Yates representative would be handling it properly we agreed to let him carry forward our bookings. We were neither informed nor communicate that luggage facility under student visa that we can carry one more luggage apart from the regular luggage capacity. On realising we mailed but to our disappointment have received the mail of paying extra charges for the same. Telephonic conversation has also not and result. I would suggest that if a student is cheated on such a meagre issue than not a single student should avail any services from Yates. Utterly disgusting and irresponsible behaviour on part of yatra

We had booked a private package for Singapore for my in-laws for 4 nights 5 days which included airport transfers, hotel & sight seeing.
Unfortunately within 24 hours of reaching to Singapore my father in law's health condition became serious and he passed away. We reached there to complete the formalities and bring back my mother in law along with his body.
We checked out of the hotel a day earlier and also did not use a majority of the services. After a few days, we called them and also wrote to them to look whether we can get any refund for un-utilised services due to the unfortunate event.
The hotel management had agreed for the refund, but said it will be provided to the agent and we also did not use the return airport transfer and 2 days of sight seeing vouchers.
It's been almost two and a half months but there is no proper response from their end. The organisation has been highly insensitive and does not bother to respond to our calls and emails.

This is the worst online travel site ever. I was looking for an international package, the first customer representative said unless and until i send him the tickets, he would not provide me any sample package. then I called another representative and he just told me a tentative rate but did not provide any package in mail. Then i contacted another representative asking for a negotiated rate and he told very rudely that he did why did i enquire for the second time when i already had got a tentative rate. I have no words for such unprofessional employee. I have now booked the package from MMT 9000 bucks more than that provided by yatra. They are way away from doing business. they must understand that money is not only the priority for customer's to book a package, but good behaviour do (like the MMT employees).

Dear Yatra team,
I am not satisfied the services and the responses given by you.
Yes, I had cancelled my booking, but before cancellation i request Yatra team to cancel and refund my amount, just because of lack of basic amenities(Water problem) and security issues (Protest by local peoples).
How can a person visit to such place after knowing that you have to face water problem for your daily usages.. you can check and refer TV News / News Paper / Facebook for similiar issues. Hotelier can say that they have sufficient supply of water, just to save their bookings, but its not the actual case.
I came to known that people shorten their trip and come back to their home after 1-2 days however they booked for 3-5 days.
One more thing, I request for cancellation on 1st June, and as per policy it was 100 % refundable till 31st May. then in the difference of only 1 day, you can't adjust my total booking amount.
Request you to consider this as a personal request, that instead of going hard coded policies, you have to consider the real scenarios and problems about the cause of cancellations and do the needful to refund my booking amount after deducting your booking charges.

1. I used Yatra.com to book hotel at Dalhousie (Hotel Confirmation Number: YAT0004999995) however due to some system problem at your end the booking was done at some hotel at Yamuna nagar, I came to know of this only upon reaching Dalhousie. The money I paid to Yatra was wasted - kindly refund the amount
2. I had booked rooms at Hotel Mayur at Shimla (Hotel confirmation number YAT0005000106) - the manager of hotel mayur claimed that they don't do bookings through yatra.com and so even though we paid the entire amount as specified on yatra.com we didn't get the rooms in hotel mayur, though we even got the confirmation order letter through yatra.com.
To resolve these issues we called up Yatra.com's customer care number about 30 times from the hotel but no one picked up the phone. We had to find another hotel which cost us even more.
This type of arrangement is not expected from a website of your repute. My entire vacation was ruined and my family was greatly inconvenienced because of inefficiency and poor arrange of your website. They are still not attending their customer care number.
I am very disappointed with this experience and will be advising all my friends and family members to avoid using YATRA.com.
I'll also be taking up this matter on social media and other national complaint forums.
Immediate reply with full refund and compensation is expected.

I booked flight ticket via yatra.com my last destination is Gaborone, Botswana
I booked flight at 13 may Mumbai to Johannesburg at 4.35 am
And at the same day
At Johannesburg to Gaborone at 19.45 pm form Johannesburg
I booked 2 different tickets, so ethiad airlines counter person deny me to fly to Johannesburg, he say I don't have Transit visa for Johannesburg, but as par south Africa embassy, immigration rules if I use south Africa, as par transit with in 12 hr, then no need to apply transit visa, and this one I confirm with south Africa embassy, and he will reply me on email
That email I show to at airport, but they can't give any solution, they just refused me and told me just call toll free number for ethiad airlines,
After that I call and email to Etihad, but they also just said one thing,
They say u have 2 different tickets so we r not able to take u to fly,
But they don't understand the rules for final destination,
My last destination is Gaborone and I have permit for that, so they are not listen to me,

I did a transaction of 891 darams on 25th day but the second party is saying they have not received the money on see your sms also dear customer, you made a purchase of aed 819.23 at yatra online pvt. ttd., gurgaon using card: 2004. avl. limit aed 32394.77 send me full details if the money has been taken by my credit card or refund it. I even got a massage that the airline ticket for which I was using my credit card was not issued but still the money was credited from. My credit card dubai first pl see to it and solve my case on urgent level.

I had booked a customised package to Thailand . I paid 70000 and was promised to get all facilities. But I experienced horrible facilities. Even I was asked to pay extra for hotel stay amounting to 2000 Baht. As I was outsider and was not having knowledge of the area I had to accept their deal. I paid the amount. Even the hotel selected were horrible and both hotel were were below standard in Phuket and in Pattaya it was not having the basic facilities provided in the room three star and above. Breakfast was horrible in Phuket and hotel staff was not cooperating. When I complained to yatra on phone the person who is dealing the matter alleged me defaming activity. Now I want the complete refund of my package as it was horrifying. Even customer care leader Mr. Anshul Gupta wrote me shameful allegation. Poorvi Chawra had customised the package and it was dealt with by Mr. Prashant Mohr. So I am bound to go the consumer forum. Prior I am posting it to complaint board.

This is worst ever online booking site I have gone through, although the first time I have used Yatra and will never use and alert my kin to not use such [censored] service.
This is not the first booking you have canceled. Please check my booking history. FYI, booking Ref Number No. [protected] with S.K Cottage, OOTY for check-in on 28 Apr 2018 and checkout on 30 Apr 2018. was also canceled.
Do I want to understand that how come booking gets confirmed if the rooms are not available in the hotel?
I had already booked some property through agoda.com and when saw that there are some budget hotels listed on Yatra then canceled my old booking (from agoda.com) and re-booked different property on Yatra.
Now my situation is too worst that not getting any hotel since Yatra has already wasted my enough time and lost a booked hotel from Agoda.
What is the point in visiting Ooty if you are giving alternate hotel that is nearly 10KM away from the center place where I have planned? Please don't book.
With such strange incidence, I decided to contact hotels and surprised to know the fact that they are not the partner with any online booking websites. Which makes it clear that you guys are showing the false listing of hotels for people's eye catch.
Please let me know who is responsible for my losses and what in case I have to cancel my trip because it's being too late and getting budget hotels now.

While we booking Seashore Residency in Thrissur dated 2 April 2018 through yatra online during the process the message displayed there is some technical error and hotel not booked successful.
We got massage in the mobile money deducted to yatra online.
3rd April 2018 we checked in bank transaction statement and found Rs 10, 026 deducted for yatra online on reference number -

I have purchased a package of rs 14998 on 19/3/2018 and made complete payment for that. At the time of offer of package I was informed that along with package I will received one mobile instrument of vivo v5s and also select colour also that rose golden. After make payment I have received mail from online support mr sameer. That I will received my assured gift and holiday package within 5-7 working days.
But while process goes in hand of service department ms. Priya send me one mail and ask me to acknowledge the same and resend back in which too many contravercy than sales department mr ranjan was explain and ask. So I have return it without acknowledge. But same time ms priya told that this is company rules of terms and condition so she could not change in it. But I will receive the product gift and services as they promice so I acknowledge the mail by putting trust on her.
But after that ms anamika call me and told that I have to give 10 referance contact for same package and if out of that any 2 or 3 will purchase the package than only I will got my assured gift. Such condition before this nobody ask or inform me. And while I am ask to connect me with mr ranjan or any one from sales department she refuse to give call or number and very rudly communicate with me. Also refuse to pass call to any senior officer and reply that I have to talk her only and follow her instruction if I want my gift which was really shockig. And feel me that I am being cheated by sales and service department of yatra.com.
Hence you are kindly requested to look positively in the matter and solve my problem.
