cheating of ticket booking
I am Thrisangu Vaithi, i have booked domestic air line ticket from Mumbai to Chennai on 07.03.2018(20:51 Hrs) for travelling date on 05.04.2018. in Spice jet departure time at 23: 35 Hrs.
I have booked my ticket through net banking, as per the Bank message my transaction request was accepted and transacted Rs. 1871.00 to Yatra. com. But the same time, the yatra message showed that, the transaction has failed. My Bank transaction ref. No. IGADBHFBS5 date 07.03.2018 at 20:51 Hrs.
In this connection, I want to know who did the cheating and i need the booked amount of Rs. 1871/- immediately and i am requesting you to resend my total amount Of rs. 1871/- to my bank account.

I booked a tour to Australia & NewZealand on 11 Jan 2018 for my brother & Bhabi through Yatra online pvt ltd.
Sucheta Chugh & Manish Anand are the Yatra employees those who provided us the tour.
1. First of all my departure date was on 28-01-2018 but they changed it to 31-01-2018 as I already made most of the payment.
2. They provide us the itinerary with timings mentioned for various services just before a day of departure on 30-01-2018 with wrong information (wrong timings were mentioned) due to which my brother & Bhabi missed their flights from ChristChurch to Brisbane. Any how they managed to bought air fare From ChristChurch to GoldCoast they bought air tickets themselves for which they paid 737/- $NZ and 100/-$NZ for a cab from GoldCoast airport to the hotel. I booked that tour for my convenience but travellers are totally fed up with services provide by Yatra online travels pvt ltd. If my parents were there and if they missed their flight just because of the wrong information provided by Yatra than how they managed. If OTAs will work in this manner then I think in some time OTAs will surely get shutdown. Because of this I paid twice for the same service. We need complete air fare & cab fare refund from the company. Yatra provided a cab at 800 hours from hotel to airport & flight was at 8:15. There were no cab before 8 in the hotel.
3. At Australia GoldCoast, Yatra committed to provide hot air ballooning with champagne breakfast to the travellers but they were unable to provide such service for which Manish Anand an employee of Yatra & a tour provider confirmed us to provide a refund of INR 23192/- on 08-02-2018 and provide confirmation to process refund within 07-09 working days but till today we received nothing from Yatra side.
4. Yatra provide public mode of transport in NewZealand on seat in coach basis without any sightseeing & the NewZealand itinerary provided by Yatra is full of sightseeing. Like a DTC bus coach stops at every stop to pick passengers. Yatra told transfers on share basis will be provided.
5. Now no one is picking up the call.
I want to suggest every traveler never booked a tour through any OTA (online travel agency). It's better to approach directly to the suppliers or owners for (airlines, accommodation etc.) OTAs are only to harass customers.

regarding refund of my amount
I Have booked a flight ticket on 30/1/2018 from Delhi to Kullu. My ticket number is [protected] on the name of Atul Aggarwal . My flight Number is AI 9805. My flight was cancelled by airline on 29/01/2018. Because of that I was faced lot of problem. But anyways, at that time airline executive called me and told me that I will get my full amount. After that I was called to airline they told me that I will talk to Yatra.com from where you booked your ticket. Then I was called to yatra.com They told me that this refund will be process through air india. And it will take minimum 45 days to give you refund. Already I faced so much problem because of cancellation of flight and now I also wait for 45 days. This is not Right at all according to me. My phone number is [protected]. I faced so many problems and nobody was there to help me.
Following are the issues detail:
1. On 10th Dec my flight was from Kolkata to Chennai and it was delayed by 1 hrs. Flight was scheduled to arrive at 7:10 pm but it was arrived at 8:00 pm. My next flight was scheduled to departure at 8:35 pm. In very short time period I was not able to get boarding pass because of baggage belt.
2. I have talked to your representative Ms Dimple but she is not able to help me at this situation. According to her I have to book the air ticket again but there was no flight available. I asked to book at least a near hotel for night staff because I am traveling with my wife but she deny.
3. Lastly I booked a air ticket from Chennai to Kochi dated on 11 Dec, departure at 9:00am. I have paid around 25, 000 Rupees, Which is extra amount I have paid.
4. Whole night I was stay in airport with no facility of proper meal.
Initial stage or starting day I got a worst experience from Yatra and spice jet.
Now I hope you will do something so that in future again I will choose Yatra

I am a first time user of yatra and would like to highlight the horrible experience before the trip starts.
I am planning a visit to andaman with my family from 18th Dec to 23rd of Dec 2017 and had contacted yatra for travel plan which includes everthng from Flight to hotel.
My flights are changed without prior initimation from Direct flights to the connected flights which increase my travel time.
Also, they amend the travel itinerary as well which showcase the most unorganized and unprofessional company. Now, Yatra is not canceling the booking now saying that this is a non refundable booking

automatic cancellation of flight - scam and bunch of frauds!!
I had booked a flight from Bangalore to Pune using the Yatra App. Yesterday, 20th Nov, I used the app to send the details of the flight as a email to myself, after which i closed the App. After 5 minutes I got a message saying your flights have been successfully cancelled, when i did not even cancel the flight!
I was trying to find the customer care number immediately in the App, and bloody no place has their number. I finally dropped an Email to the customer support with subject "Urgent" and explained what happened. I got a response after 2.5 hours which was completely useless stating " We would like to inform you that we have checked with our technical department that the Cancellation has been done by you online."
Completely absurd! I followed up over Email, no response. I got a customer care number and that agent told me that her supervisor would call back and no response!
As if they have made their app in such a way just so that they can rob people off! When you cancel anything through online or app, we get pop-up windows to confirm. They are cheats and Bloody scammers!
I would like this to be undo and make sure my bookings or intact or would require a complere refund and never again will I use Yatra. I was planning to take on of Yatra's holiday package, now NO WAY!

yatra.com is worst travel booking website in india
I have recently booked a plan with this company. The reason I have chosen the travel agent is to make the trip convenient for my family. But it was the biggest mistake because the holiday experience was completely spoiled because of Yatra.com
Their sales team will promise you many things but trust me it's just for purpose of sales. The sales team is doing the work only for commissions and will never really care about the well being of the customer who is investing their hard earned money for family vacations. Once the sale is complete the sales agent will never bother about what happens with you on vacation. If you call to sales agent he will not lift the call and then later a customer service agent will give robotic replies to all your queries. "Sorry for inconvenience sir", "we apologize sir" etc etc.
Now coming to my issue the blunder mistake was done by the sales agent. My actual trip was planned from Sept 28th to Oct 2nd in Manali. Then my return flight should have been oct 3rd from Delhi to Hyderabad. Now the sales agent have booked our hotel till Oct 2nd, our return Volvo ticket from Manali to Delhi, If we take the bus on Oct 2nd then we will reach Delhi on Oct 3rd. But the useless sales agent booked the ticket for 2nd Oct from Delhi to Hyderabad. So due to this reason I had to reschedule the flight for 3rd oct by paying Rs 11, 390 to Indigo. Now this entire issue was created because of wrong booking was done by the salesperson, now when I call to their support and explain the whole thing they agreed that the mistake was done from their end, but the amount of Rs 11, 390 cannot be refunded. Instead of this, they will give me [censor] e-cash of Rs 2, 000. Which is of no use because I will never use their useless service again.
Many users choose yatra.com thinking they provide best solutions and convenient options. Trust me they will give you those options which will minimize their cost and maximize their profits. They will give your worst possible options. When I booked for Manali package. They gave me Volvo option from Delhi to Manali, which is the worst journey for 15 hours and make your very tired, Instead of this there is also an option from Chandigarh to Manali which is only 8 hours journey. They will not give you this option because it will cost them more and profit will be less.
One more important point, don't think that Yatra.com or any online agent provide a personalized service. They take a booking from you and forward the booking to a local travel company. On top of the cost given by the local vendor, hotel, flights etc they add their own markup and give a higher quote to you. Once the booking is done and payment is made Yatra.com will only provide robotic replies to you and never resolve any issues. So instead of paying the higher price to them, it's better to book flights, hotels, speak to the local vendor directly and get better service at lower prices.

4. Any issue they will direct you to call customer care which is the most uncaring area of their.
5. They will sell hotels as 5 star and when we entered the hotel it was a small 10 room property, what a joke. Now even 10 room property without a proper security guard or gate has achieved 5 star.
6. On continuous complaint, Mr. Shristi assured us that we could check out from the hotel and the refund will be processed within 24 hours in our bank account and we are just running behind this since several months now.

yatra hotel booking... complete fraud... and worst customer service.
We booked few hotel rooms through Yatra.com. The policy clearly said "free cancellation". We booked accordingly. This is completely scam. The detailed policy gave us a date till which we can cancel the booking and get full refund. When we tried to cancel, it said we are not eligible for the refund. Also the customer service guy asked us to check the email confirmation with detailed policy terms but we never got the email. Due to your technical issues we are suffering . I want my money back. My booking is for 2nd sept 2017. Why can't I cancel it right now ? Where is the confirmation. Email? All I got is a stupid small text message.

Same happen with me recently.
I have booked Tickets for my family members from Yatra (for Jet Airways) on 4th July and I have been charged for Rs.23780/- but there was no actual ticket booked. I tried calling Yatra which is really a difficult task - finally I got the answer that the same was because of system error and the amount will be refunded in next 2 days - then there was reply that it will be done on 7 days and 10 days - Finally I got this refund after one week almost and the issue was closed. On 4th when ticket was not booked (and PNR was not generated and I have been charged)- after discussion with Yatra call centre - I have purchased another ticket - (paid 26020/) but the worst shock and surprise was that in spite of correct data and details - the destination changed (to become from and vice-a-versa); this is purely because of system error, faulty online system. I bought this in to notice of Yatra Management but not got any proper response - finally escalated to Jet Airways highest authority and finally I have been refunded some amount and I have penalized for 14165/- by deductions for no reason and no fault from my side.
I would like to draw your urgent attention on below point and you’re your intervention:
1. Only after my repeated follow up and reminders on UDF refunds - Yatra refunded the UDF amount that too I am not sure whether the same is genuine or not? I have not seen any pro-activeness in refunding the UDF from any one of them - even after sharing the circular of DGCA, Yatra and Jet were not ready initially to refund. Later on they refunded some amount but I am sure there is gap in the same.
2. Neither Yatra nor Jet ready to share the complete break up Total Amount Charged, Break of Refunded and Total Break Amount of Amount penalty. There is no transparency in charges they have charged to me.
3. Yatra is doing malpractices by overcharging to the consumers - like in this case and Jet Airways is directly / indirectly supporting in it but not disclosing the breakup of the charged amount.
4. Yatra is misleading consumer on their portal - when we try to book any air ticket - its shows X Rate - when we select that because X plus Rates - and finally we book and go to pay - we finally land up paying X Plus Plus amount - This is purely misleading consumers. There are so many hidden charges levied by Yatra which they never disclose and collect over charges from passengers.
5. The worst part is that Jet Airways does not have any control mechanism to stop and hold such malpractices at Yatra. They don’t have any review mechanism too. Since Yatra is issuing Jet Airways tickets by using “JET AIRWAYS” brand - its equal responsibility of airlines too - to control such unethical practice. Considering the principal service providers - Jet Airways cannot simply wash their hands from such issues.
I am also putting few reviews of Yatra (which is hardly few reviews among so many negative and worst reviews which is easily available on web) for your reference - request you to please have a look so that you understand how these Online companies play with consumers and harass by overcharging, by providing unprofessional services and doing unethical business. Such malpractices has to be looked seriously and suitable action should be taken against such irregularities..

fraud in online booking

My name is Nagendra Nath Mandal, I am a holder of HDFC Credit Card. On 4th Jul'17, I made a round trip flight booking on yatra.com of Rs. 6987/- and chose the EMI option on the website while booking. I received a message stating that the payment was successful but the Airline is taking time to respond and then after a while it shows that the transaction has failed. I received a message that the amount paid for the booking will be refunded to my bank account. Till date I have not received the refund of the transaction made and neither any message concerning the same.
I have spoken with yatra.com customer support and every time when I call them, they only say that the matter has been escalated to the concerned team but till date there is no resolution. I checked with my banker as well, they explained that the payment is with yatra.com and that is how they've been able to convert the amount into monthly EMI's.
Now, When I checked with yatra customer support, they are declining the receipt of payment. When i asked them to send me an email mentioning the same so that I can furnish the same to the bank and chase them for the refund but they won't.
The reference number for the transaction is [protected]. Please see the attached snapshot which shows the status of the transaction.
It is really astonishing to see that even in this age when technology has advanced so much and where online transactions are being promoted over cash transactions, these companies milk money from customers with such unscrupulous activities. I am posting this message on this forum so that others be aware about this company do not experience the same issue which I did.

I booked a hotel from yatra.com and the money got deducted but received no confirmation for over 12 hrs. when i called them, firstly, they were rude and had no sense how to provide customer service. Moreover, they simply told that the money will be refunded but my booking will not be given whatsoever. i had the booking for 3 days from now and i have no choice but to make a double payment. More than their website inefficiency, the customer server named Adit, did not know how to do his job properly. more than the money problem, i got irritated the way he was handling the matter and the way he was responding.

We booked package from Yatra.com for dated 21st June for Thailand. We were first time user of Yatra and would like to highlight the horrible experience. At the first day itself we reached hotel Citin Garden Resort at Pattaya at around morning 8 am the said they will not be able to give room and we have to pay 500 bhat for early checkin. contacted so many time but no response. they were supposed to give us superior room but it was sub standard room with poor services in terms of cleaning, room services and even staff. hotel was too far from the beach Rahul Kuntal (Yatra representative) assured me that it was near to the beach. They given us meal coupons and told that indian restaurant is near to the resort but that also too far, have to spend 400 bhat to reach there. After written complaint they just send us reply that cant change itinerary.
I told them specifically that my father who is senior citizen and my son are travelling and want hassle free trip but they didn't bother. Pl never use Yatra trips. they are the most horrible company. pl save ur hard earned money and choose wisely.

We booked a package for Manali. As per their itinerary on Day 1
"On arrival at this destination, checkin at the hotel and relax for some time. Later, spend the evening at leisure resting at
the hotel room. If interested, you can also go out for a walk in the lush green surroundings." But as it takes 12 hrs so how can someone spend the evening at leisure at hotel.Same is the case for check out day. We need to leave hotel by 2 AM to reach delhi by 4 pm (to catch up the flight at 5pm)and what their itinerary says is "Wake up in the morning and have your breakfast, later check out from the hotel ". I have no idea which hotel serves breakfast at 1 am in midnight. Yatra.com is the biggest frad company across all the travel industry. The lady who booked the package for us Chanderkanta Lamba is not answering the calls as well. Pathetic service n pathetic travel experts. Worst experience ever.

I took this package of andaman and nicobar island from one of the executive called "har[censored] kaushik"
Since I have gone andaman first so I had a fair idea that havelock is the main destination to stay and have a good time. I told him straight that I want a cottage for my stay and told him my budgets for it. (you can very well listen to our long conversation if you have a record of it)
He initially offered me a package of 70, 500 inclusive of all taxes where he was offering me a property called "holiday inn resort" where in he offered me a "standard cottage". Upon further discussion with my partner I came up to a conclusion that "symphony palms beach resort" was better than "holiday inn resort". So when har[censored] called me next time I told him straight that I want you to upgrade me to symphony palms, upon which he told me that I need to pay a bit more for my package then which was amounting to 74500 inclusive of all taxes. I agreed upon it and initiated the booking (Note: we did not have any conversation about what he's providing me in symphony palms) from the very start I told him that havelock is important for me and my only preference was a cottage. So he sent me this email (Pfa) of the package itinerary in which its mentioned that i'll be provided with "havelock casa" its not mentioned that its a property inside a building or a cottage but since from the very first we had a conversation about a cottage I took it as a cottage only since in the name itself its not mentioned that its a cottage or not. Also there are no pictures which shows that havelock casa is a cottage or a room in a property. On further research while going through the yatra website I found pictures collectively but no picture saying that havelock casa is what? The only picture I saw was of a bed. Then I went to the website of symphony palms resort where I saw just one picture of a bed and no other picture. Since I had to clear my doubts about it, I called symphony palms resort and they told me its a room in a property and not a cottage. Clearly mr. Har[censored] kaushik never mentioned it to me that it is a room (You can listen to our conversations if you have a record). Now that I have paid for the package partially no one is listening to my query and your so called "customer executives" are teaching me how to talk while I am addressing my problem? I have paid money and I won't let it go. Trust me on this. I would like you to sort this out asap before my holiday is spoiled. I travel around the country everyday and I am a travel blogger and photographer (Check my website - www.thepixen.com) I have never experienced such kind of behaviour from a customer executive and company which claims itself to be the best in asia.

The salespersons are cheaters who want to get the sales commission. After booking they will redirect to customer service, who are useless and never resolve the query. Funny part is without resolving the actual issue, they will convert the complaint as resolved. This is [censor] service of Yatra.com

They deduct money from bank account but never send e-ticket. When emailed them they sent response on refunding back the money.
Why it happened --- no response or support.
Now i am scared to book another ticket. I will have to wait 7 days to get my refund. During the waiting period price of tickets will increase so I will be at lost at no fault of mine
Yatra didn't provide any reference number. They deducted money from my SBI account but never issued any ticket for my international flight. Because of them I am loosing good deals as I do not have money to purchase flight. When I called their customer care no body picks up, it all goes into automated answering system. They ask for 4 digit Yatra reference, from where to give them reference number when I was not given any flight details.
When i wrote email to them they have come up with standard response & reference number YA:3208804

This is worst ever online booking site I have gone through, although the first time I have used Yatra and will never use and alert my kin to not use such [censored] service.
This is not the first booking you have canceled. Please check my booking history. FYI, booking Ref Number No. [protected] with S.K Cottage, OOTY for check-in on 28 Apr 2018 and checkout on 30 Apr 2018. was also canceled.
Do I want to understand that how come booking gets confirmed if the rooms are not available in the hotel?
I had already booked some property through agoda.com and when saw that there are some budget hotels listed on Yatra then canceled my old booking (from agoda.com) and re-booked different property on Yatra.
Now my situation is too worst that not getting any hotel since Yatra has already wasted my enough time and lost a booked hotel from Agoda.
What is the point in visiting Ooty if you are giving alternate hotel that is nearly 10KM away from the center place where I have planned? Please don't book.
With such strange incidence, I decided to contact hotels and surprised to know the fact that they are not the partner with any online booking websites. Which makes it clear that you guys are showing the false listing of hotels for people's eye catch.
Please let me know who is responsible for my losses and what in case I have to cancel my trip because it's being too late and getting budget hotels now.
