It whom it may concern
I bought a men's sweater # [protected] [protected] on the 28th of December 2019 @ Eastgate branch.
I wash my clothes before wearing them as my skin tends to react bad with unwashed clothes.
I read the washing instructions on the garment and duly followed the instructions. After doing my laundry the sweatshirt shrank from a size M to size XXS.
On the 8th of January 2020, I visited the Sandton City branch hoping to exchange the item, I got a rude customer support from Mzwandile ( Manager of Men's Department) claiming that I was negligent, did not read the washing instructions correctly and declined to assist me further.
I therefore request for the store manager Bongani, who was helpful and referred the matter to customer service.
The washing instructions on the label are not clear, not detailed enough and leave room for lots of confusion.
All I want is to make an exchange, the sweater is only R359 and I think loyal customers are more important than that.
