I hired Zerorez to clean my Duct system in my house
I hired Zerorez to clean my Duct system in my house. The technician made cuts to help clean the ducts. But after cleaning, he didn't seal the duct system properly. Now, cold air from the evaporator coil is escaping into the attic, making my AC work harder to cool my living space.
I had Zerorez come out to clean our carpets
I had Zerorez come out to clean our carpets. I was led to believe that the master closet was included. They didn't do it. I called to ask why and they said it's an extra $28 to do a master closet. I asked if they would please come back out to do it and they said they only come out for a minimum of $119 so they won't do it for us. I'm really upset by this as they misled me to believe we were getting a service we didn't get and then want to overcharge us to come out and fix their mistake. Product_Or_Service: Carpet cleaning.
I sent my rug to be cleaned in June
I sent my rug to be cleaned in June. I was told it would take 2 weeks before I got a call for delivery. After 3 weeks, I called to ask about my rug and was told by Micheal in customer service that they couldn't find it and to call back the next day. I called again and was told the rug was actually there, but it was a mistake. They said it would be delivered the following Thursday (July 16). I received an email and a phone call confirming the delivery. My husband took time off work to wait at home. The delivery window passed, so I called them again. Derek in customer service then told me that my rug had been delivered to someone else's home! He said they would try to retrieve it and bring it to me. It's been in someone else's home during a pandemic, and all I got was a maybe that they could pick it up and return it. I am really upset with the poor customer service from this company. I feel like I paid $480 to have my rug stolen. I want my rug and my money back! I will have to get it cleaned again by another company because it's been in someone else's home!

Zerorez messed up my water heater when they cleaned my air ducts, and now I had to get a plumber to fix it
Zerorez messed up my water heater when they cleaned my air ducts, and now I had to get a plumber to fix it. I made an appointment with Zerorez online in mid-February for duct cleaning on March 10th. They showed up on time on March 10th. The two technicians cut four holes in the ducts to attach their suction hoses. Somewhere during the cutting or suctioning, one of the techs hit the plastic drainage area on the hot water heater and cracked it. The water heater is behind a wall in the garage, so we didn't notice the leak until it started coming through the wall in the foyer. I called our plumber, and he came to fix it for $200 around 7pm that same night. As soon as I found the leak, I called Zerorez. The plumber confirmed that the piece was definitely hit and that caused the crack. It started leaking slowly for a few days, but as we kept using the unit, the leak got worse. I contacted *** the manager at the Norcross, GA location, and he asked for photos, which I sent right away. He replied with a photo that the tech took before touching my unit and said, "I've also included our Duct Technical Advisor in this email. The picture shows the unit before we did anything. The pictures you sent after show the access point we used, sealed with white mastek. There's another lower access point that we didn't touch, which might have caused the water heater to get messed up. So, it seems like we're not to blame." I responded to *** again with photos proving that they did have to cut near the water heater. Since I sent the photos on March 21st and 22nd, *** hasn't replied. It's now March 24th, end of the day, and no one has reached out to me.
On October 16, I made an appointment to get my carpet cleaned by Zerorez Atlanta
On October 16, I made an appointment to get my carpet cleaned by Zerorez Atlanta. They said they would arrive between 8am and 10am. The technician came on time and asked if he could enter the rooms that needed cleaning. I chose their three room special. I told the tech that we didn't have much carpet, mostly hardwood floors, so if you added up all the carpet in each room, it would be like cleaning one whole floor. After he checked the rooms, he said it would be quick because we didn't have much carpet, and it was indeed quick. When the job was finished, I was busy taking care of my two small kids and talking on the phone with my oldest, who is in college. The tech said he needed me to sign some papers. He told me to sign here, here, and here, but he didn't explain what I was signing. I signed them and he left. After he left, I got an email with a copy of the receipt. I was shocked by the amount and started looking at it closely. I noticed that he had added a $20 tip for himself on top of just cleaning a few patches of carpet. Later, I received a survey and gave them a bad review. A few days after I left the review, someone from Zerorez called and asked why I had given a bad review. I told them the whole story. They said the tech was new and that I would get my $20 back, some coupons, and they would keep a close eye on him. They also said they would follow up with me. But I wasn't happy with the cleaning and I felt violated because he had my credit card information. I was worried about what he might do with it. He stole from me and I couldn't believe it, so I closed that card and got a new one. The tech was very dishonest and now I was a victim of fraud. To make things worse, I never got my $20 refunded, no coupons, and no follow-up call. This was my first and last time using Zerorez! Their customer service is not good, the tech was dishonest, and it left me feeling uneasy. I want a full refund!
I got my carpets cleaned in 4 rooms, closet, and staircase in Brooks, GA (south of ATL)
I got my carpets cleaned in 4 rooms, closet, and staircase in Brooks, GA (south of ATL). I wanna show you a video that explains the bad customer service I got. The technician came and we walked through the house, then he started treating the carpets. But when he tried to vacuum, his van didn't work and he got frustrated. Suddenly, he started screaming and cussing, getting really angry and upset about his van. I gotta say, if I acted like that at my job in front of customers, I'd be asked to leave and fired. Terrible customer service. Gotta admit, I was a little scared 'cause I was alone with my baby and thought he might come in all aggressive. So, since his van didn't work, we had to wait over an hour and a half for them to bring another van. It turned into a whole day thing. I needed to pick up my son from school, so my husband had to take off work so I wouldn't leave the technician alone in the house. Then, I wanted him to clean my office upstairs. He had already treated the carpet in my office, but then he said he didn't have the extension hose for his water line. So he couldn't clean a room that I really needed to be done. It seems like the workers don't have vans that work properly and they don't have all the necessary supplies in each van. The technician was mad 'cause he said he had been telling them for over a month that something needed to be fixed on his van, but no one did anything about it. At the end of the day, I was hoping my carpets would look cleaner, but unfortunately, they don't. With all the ads I hear and see, I thought I would get great service, but that's not the case. I added extra services (that I didn't really need) just to make my total over $300 (since I live out of the local area) 'cause I really thought you guys would do a great job and it would be worth it. Won't recommend.
On 11/30/22, Zerorez came to clean my master bedroom carpet
On 11/30/22, Zerorez came to clean my master bedroom carpet. I talked to the scheduler to confirm the price, which was supposed to be $168. However, when the technician arrived, the price suddenly jumped to $352. He claimed that there was a misquote. I should have just told him to leave, but I needed the carpet cleaned before Christmas, so I decided to see what would happen. My friends had highly recommended Zerorez, so I had some hope.
The technician finished the job in 45 minutes and took out a bowl of dirty water. He asked me to inspect it, but it was so wet and had so many lines that I couldn't really see anything. He was polite, so I gave him a $10 tip. After signing the paperwork, he mentioned that he had given me a $150 discount, making the total cost $500! I was never informed about this price increase.
As the carpet dried, I noticed that there was even more dirt and stains than before. It seemed like he had sprayed my carpet with dirty water and didn't bother to clean it up properly. He just left it there. Now, half of the corner of my carpet is yellow and I have no idea how to remove it.
I had some stains on my carpet before, but they were less noticeable. After the cleaning, they became more prominent and stood out. Zerorez sent another technician to fix the issue. He admitted that the previous technician was new and had rushed through the job. Apparently, he had to fix the mistakes made by many new technicians. How can you clean 250 sq ft without moving anything and clean the padding in just 45 minutes? It looks terrible.
My daughter tried to remove some of the dirt herself and managed to get rid of about 1/3 of it. My husband, who owns his own business, told the technician that if he had done such a poor job, he would have to refund the money and fix the problem. I had already informed the office that I would cancel the payment. However, my bank is not very helpful when it comes to refunds unless I investigate the issue myself. I have taken pictures and submitted them as evidence.
I don't understand how the price went from $168 to $500! Nobody told me about this increase. Furthermore, when my husband lifted the carpet to check the padding, it was far from clean. It was dry, dusty, and dirty. I just want my money back.
