Zibbet Say Goodbye to Etsy's Shady Practices - Switch to Zibbet for Independent Seller Success

Etsy is a site that's been around for a long time - 15 years, to be exact. They've got a lot of exposure and traffic, but don't be fooled - they'll screw you over in a heartbeat. Their CEO is a two-faced snake who sold out the handmade market and continues to do so.

The thing is, Etsy lets you build up THEIR business while you neglect your own standalone site. They make you feel safe and secure, but then they erase you without warning. Just Google "my Etsy shop got shut down" and you'll see what I mean. It happened to me - I was making about $1,000 a month, and then they shut me down for a non-delivery complaint that had already been refunded. And now they're integrating PayPal so they can watch you even more closely.

That's why I switched to Zibbet. Zibbet is just a host - nothing more. You have to drive your own traffic and make your own success. But that's a good thing, because it means you're in control. And guess what? Zibbet has a free guest checkout. Your customers don't even have to sign up for an account to buy from you. Can you believe that? Etsy still doesn't have a guest checkout after all these years, because they only care about YOUR CUSTOMERS, not you.

So if you're tired of being at the mercy of Etsy and their shady practices, give Zibbet a try. It's a great platform for independent sellers who want to take control of their own destiny. Don't blame the site for your lack of success - do the legwork and make it happen for yourself.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: High Fees, Low Exposure, Unprofessional Employees - Not Recommended for Sellers

Zibbet is an Australian-based online marketplace that seems to be run from a barn or apartment. I recently canceled my seller account due to the outrageous monthly fees that I was paying for absolutely no usable service. The so-called "professional" marketing is limited to a small clique of sellers who promote each other, which is not something I am willing to pay for.

The exposure on Zibbet is hardly any, and the employees are highly unprofessional. They expect you to do the work for them, which is not what I signed up for. Knock-off sellers from China seem to be more common than independent artists, crafters, and vintage collectors.

If you're looking to make any money on the site, don't waste your time unless you enjoy chit-chatting in the forums or on Facebook all day or promoting the Zibbet site and don't mind paying your monthly "service fee" for exactly that.

As Kenny B. said in his review, "The views you do get are bots, the sales are totally dismal, the owners control the forums to keep hard questions and complaints off, and troll social media to silence any complaints. They didn't provide the services to bring in buyers that they advertised. They make their money luring in paying sellers, not bringing in buyers." He hit the nail on the head!

Overall, I would not recommend Zibbet to anyone looking to sell their products online. The fees are too high, the exposure is too low, and the employees are unprofessional. Save your time and money and look for a better online marketplace.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: A Cliquey Mess Run by Shysters and Clowns

Zibbet, oh boy, where do I even start? Let me tell you, this site is a real doozy. I mean, did someone say I'm outie quicker than a C-3 C-YA? Because that's exactly how I feel about this place.

First off, let's talk about the owners. They are outright liars, I tell ya. And don't even get me started on the clannish community members. Sure, they may seem nice at first, but that's only if you kiss their secret underwear wearing arses. And let me tell you, that's not something I'm willing to do.

This is a very, very cliquey group. They act like God-loving, welcoming Christians, but the minute you question their all-mighty CEO's, they'll strike with vicious venom. No wonder the site hasn't grown in all these years, even though they make up their own numbers. In fact, it's shrinking daily on Google, Alexa, etc. The candle is burning so dim, you can see ghosts. Booo-yah! And that's if you continue to give them any more of your hard-earned money.

These shysters pretend to care, but they're really just waltzing in on the skirt strings of other competitor's blog posts/perceived problems/online posts, hoping to reel in more money for themselves. And what do they offer their sellers in return? Nothing. Zilch. Nada. They'll just tell you that you need to change what you're doing if you have no views or sales there. Hah, what a joke.

Speaking of jokes, Zibbet is the biggest one ever. It's the worst waste of time ever. Even compost is more productive than the CEO's on this venue. And let me tell you, they shart in their britches and have hissy fits every time someone questions what they're doing wrong.

In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend Zibbet to my worst enemy. It's a real mess, and the people running it are a bunch of clowns. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: A Great Alternative to Etsy for Selling Handmade Goods

Update ***

So, I gave Zibbet a try for a year and only got 4 sales. That's not enough for me, so I'm going back to Etsy. Zibbet is cool and all, but it's just not my jam.

***Original review***

I used to be all about Etsy. I had three different shops selling all sorts of stuff since 2008 and I was always making sales and feeling good about it.

But then in 2018, I started noticing that the customers I worked so hard to bring to my shop were getting distracted by Etsy showing them other stuff that was similar or even cheaper than what I was selling. It was frustrating and I felt like my hard work wasn't being appreciated.

So I decided to try something new and that's when I found Zibbet.

Let me tell you, it's like going back in time to when Etsy was awesome. Zibbet is awesome. Sure, it's not perfect and there are some rough edges, but it feels real and the customer service is on point.

I'm still in the 14-day trial period, but after just a week, I've already made a good sale and gotten a lot of views. Of course, I still have to work to bring in customers, but I was doing that before anyway.

If you're thinking about trying Zibbet, I say go for it. Give it a solid 6 months and really put in the effort to promote and network. You can't expect something for nothing, but if you're willing to work for it, Zibbet could be a great platform for you.

Check it out at www.zibbet.com.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: A Disappointing Platform for Handmade Sellers

Zibbet is a platform that claims to be a great place to sell handmade items, but in reality, it falls short of its promises. Despite having thousands of sellers signed up for their annual shop account, very few actually sell there. The platform advertised that they would push your listings to both Google and The Find, but they knew that they were not doing it. Recently, they admitted to this and removed the ads that showed how great The Find was. However, they now claim that it is no big deal to NOT have your items in The Find.

The site has several issues that they claim will be fixed with a site rebuild that has been promised for years, but it has yet to happen. Many of the glitches on the site still need to be fixed, including The Find. It is frustrating to see that they have not taken any action to address these issues, and it makes it difficult for sellers to trust the platform.

Zibbet claims to be a handmade-only platform, but it is common to see resellers there daily. If they allow resellers, why not go somewhere that your items will be seen? It is better to take your time and go to ecrater.com, where you can be sure that your items will be seen by potential buyers.

If you are still unsure about Zibbet, I encourage you to go to their forums, sign up as a buyer, and read around. Ask them when the rebuild is coming, and watch how fast they boot out anyone that asks thoughtful questions. It is always best to judge a venue for yourself, and I cannot call Zibbet a sales venue.

Before you hitch your name to that site, browse the shops there and see who is selling and how much. It is essential to do your research before investing your time and money into a platform that may not deliver on its promises.

Zibbet Disappointing Experience with Zibbet: A Review of the Handmade Marketplace

I used to sell my handmade items on Etsy and decided to try out Zibbet after hearing about it from the co-founders, Andrew and Jonathan. I was excited about the opportunity to expand my business and reach a new audience. However, my experience with Zibbet was far from wonderful.

The promises made by the owners were all over the place and they deceived incoming sellers. For example, they promised that the site's Twitter account would tweet about my shop before the Christmas holiday. I eagerly signed up for this, but to my disappointment, my shop never received a tweet. This was just the beginning of the lies for me.

One of the biggest issues I faced on Zibbet was the lack of buyers. Despite the promises made by the CEO, buyers were nowhere to be found. The site improvements were also lacking, and many sellers who stayed on Zibbet are still asking where the buyers are. It's frustrating to see so few sales and wonder if it's because buyers are too ignorant to find our items.

The CEO suggested using "long-tail" keywords to help buyers find our items, but this hasn't been effective. Buyers don't know that they need to enter the entire title and all the keywords of an item to find it. It's the sellers who know this information, but even we are having trouble finding our own items on the Zibbet site search.

Overall, my experience with Zibbet was disappointing. I wish I had stayed on Etsy instead of wasting my time and money on a platform that didn't deliver. If you're considering using Zibbet, I would advise you to think twice and do your research before making a decision.

Zibbet Disappointing Experience with Zibbet: Promised to Surpass Etsy, But Fell Short

I opened up my shop on Zibbet about two and a half years ago. It was around the same time that I opened up my Etsy shop. I was excited to see what Zibbet had to offer, as I had heard from several emails, messages, and forums that it would exceed Etsy's 'status' and become the new and improved Etsy with an increase in sales.

However, almost three years later, I have only made three sales on Zibbet, while I have made over 300 sales on Etsy, along with over 200 five-star ratings. I was disappointed that Zibbet did not live up to its promises, and I had to cancel my 'elite' year membership fees for Zibbet when they unexpectedly charged us for another year that we did not want to pay for. It took a while to sort out and get our money back.

My shop is still up, but not under the premium membership, which made no difference at all. I forgot I had a shop there for a while until I read some of these posts. I still find no sales on Zibbet, except for one custom-made product that I actually made, but the person never paid for it. That was over eight months ago, and it still shows up under 'not shipped,' which makes my shop look bad.

To get to my point, whatever happened to this new Zibbet site that promised to surpass Etsy within a year or so, which was said almost three years ago? The time and money I spent on Zibbet is something I will never get back. I wasted more money than I made.

Two days after my review, they finally sent me an email about their new and improved relaunch (four years in the making). To be honest, I haven't even looked at my site yet because I could care less. That's how much that site means to me. $79 down the drain, wait $9 in sales, so $70 gone. Why even bother looking when nothing has even happened for three years since I opened it?

Zibbet Zibbet Review: A Decade of Disappointment and Broken Promises

I've been a Zibbet user for over a decade now, and I have to say, my experience with this platform has been nothing short of disappointing. I remember when they first launched, they were offering lifetime accounts for a small fee, and I jumped at the opportunity. They promised a lot of exciting features and improvements, but as time went on, it became clear that they were struggling to deliver on their promises.

For starters, the new platform they rolled out was a complete disaster. It was even worse than the first one, and they took away many of the features that we had come to rely on. They kept promising that they would add them back in, but it never happened. The marketplace was a ghost town, and the few sales I did make were hardly worth the effort.

To make matters worse, Zibbet did nothing to improve their SEO or drive traffic to our stores. They added a website feature, but it was so poorly designed that it was practically useless. Only a few items showed up above the fold, and customers had to scroll endlessly to see the rest.

I recently checked back in to see if anything had changed, and I was shocked to find that they had completely changed their format yet again. Apparently, they're now an inventory management company, promising future sales channels at all the big marketplaces. But a year later, the only sales channel they have that isn't their own is Etsy. And to top it off, the dashboard in their new platform is non-functional, even though it's been a year since they presented it.

I'm starting to think that the whole thing was a scam from the start. They offered expensive lifetime accounts for promised services that never materialized, and there were rumors that they spent the money on a lavish vacation retreat instead of investing it in the platform. I can't even begin to describe how frustrating it is to use this website. If I could give them zero stars, I would. And to add insult to injury, I just found out that the AC Moore channel they promised is a store that closed 10 months after their announcement. What a joke.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: Disappointing and Unsupportive for Handmade Sellers

I've been selling my handmade art and crafts online for many years now, and let me tell you, it's been a journey. I started out on eBay, but quickly realized that it wasn't the right place for me. Sure, it's great for some things, but not for selling handmade art. Then along came Etsy, which was perfect at first. But over time, they became more and more greedy, and their support for sellers vanished. They never even had a phone number for support, which was frustrating.

That's when I discovered Artfire, which was a great alternative to Etsy. They had a fantastic PR person who was great at explaining changes to sellers and getting our listings out there. But then they too got bit by the greedy bug and started slapping ads all over our listings. It was frustrating to see ads for cheap, mass-produced products right next to my beautiful handmade items.

So I decided to give Zibbet a try. But let me tell you, it was a huge disappointment. I did regular searches online for items similar to what I sell, and Zibbet never showed up. Not once. I even posted a question on their forum board asking why Artfire shows up in search engines but not Zibbet, and I was banned from the forums. It was ridiculous. All I did was mention another site, and they banned me for it.

I sent numerous emails asking about this, but I never got a reply. So I removed the few items I had listed on Zibbet and deleted my account. It's just not worth it to deal with a site that doesn't support its sellers and bans them for asking questions.

My advice to other sellers is to invest in building your own site. Yes, it will take longer to get it out there, but once you do, it's yours. You're in control, and no greedy CEO can ruin your business. These venue sites are just a big gamble, and it's not worth spending too much money to find out that everything I've said is true.

As for shoppers, don't worry too much about the site you're buying from. It's just a venue to connect you with someone selling something. Your support comes from contacting the seller directly and seeing how it goes.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: Struggling to Make Sales and Frustrated with the New Platform

I gotta say, I've been selling on Zibbet for about 10 months now and I've only had one sale. It's been a real struggle, let me tell you. I've put in so much time and effort into this, taking great pictures, getting involved in conversations, making items, advertising, blogging, and keeping up a Facebook page. I'm talking 5-12 hours a day, every day of the week. And yet, people just aren't buying on Zibbet. They say it's too confusing, and now with the "new Zibbet," it's even more confusing! They look and then they're gone. Sure, my stats are up every month, but that's about it.

The one time I did get a sale on Zibbet for a made-to-order item, the site was shut down for about 2 days for the "new Zibbet." Thank goodness I had already found another way to contact the customer. And to make matters worse, the "new Zibbet" doesn't have all the extras that I used all the time. That was the reason I got the year in the first place!

I've been looking at other shops on Zibbet, and let me tell you, they're not doing so hot either. Some have little or no sales, some have 1-3 items, and some have 20+ pages of items with no sales. Some websites just advertise on the site and don't even sell anything. It's been really tough for me to make a living on Zibbet because of all this. That's why I'm moving to Etsy. Since I made the switch, I've been picking up more business and attention.

I did contact Zibbet about all this, but they did nothing. They just made me even more mad with their excuses. As someone who knows a lot about owning a business (not because of this one), I can tell you that Zibbet is not doing things right. They need to go more than the extra mile, even if it costs them more, because in the long run it will pay off. They need to see people, not just stats. And they need to listen to their customers and fix their problems. That's the only way they'll become more successful.

Jonathan Peacock and Andrew Gray, if you're reading this, please take my advice to heart. I challenge you to look over Zibbet, your customer service, and every part of your company and use that advice within the next year to show a difference. I'm not trying to find negative things, but you need to listen to customers to get good reviews. You have bugs in your system, and everything they say has happened to me within 4 days.

To do this would be the right thing to do. Please show your soft side for a change. Your business depends on it. I'm not in my 30s or 20s yet, but I know that you are the example. Recently, my grandpa died, and at the funeral, all people had to say were nice things about him because of how he lived his life. What do you want people to say about you? I hope this gets to you emotionally in some way or another. I'm writing this in a public area because last time I contacted you, it wasn't productive. I've cared so much to have taken about 3 hours writing this, so please don't throw it aside like it's nothing. I will also be sending this to you personally. This could be a huge breakthrough for you if you just listen. Thank you to everyone who reads this for your time.

Zibbet Disappointing Experience with Zibbet: Unexpected Charge and Low Sales

I started using Zibbet about a year ago, hoping to sell some of my handmade items. Unfortunately, I only made one sale during that time. It was disappointing, but I figured it just wasn't the right platform for me.

So, I decided to cancel my reoccurring payments and close my account on 10/10/14. I thought that was the end of it.

But this morning, I received a notification from PayPal that Zibbet had processed a payment for the $79 seller fees. I was NOT happy about this at all. I had already closed my account and didn't want to be charged for anything else.

Thankfully, PayPal is taking care of it and I should have the money back within a week. However, in the meantime, I am out money that I needed for other things.

Overall, my experience with Zibbet was not great. I didn't make many sales and now I am dealing with this unexpected charge. I would not recommend using this platform if you are looking to sell your handmade items. There are better options out there.

Zibbet Disappointing Experience with Zibbet: Fake Dresses and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase on Zibbet and I must say, I was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered a dress that looked absolutely stunning on the website, but when it arrived, it was a completely different story. The dress I received was not at all what I was expecting. It was a completely different color and the material was not what I had anticipated.

When I reached out to customer service, they explained that all dresses come differently and that this was just a part of the process. While I understand that there may be some variations in the dresses, this was way off. I felt like I had been completely ripped off and I was extremely disappointed with the whole experience.

I would not recommend Zibbet to anyone looking to purchase clothing online. It's just not worth the time or the money. I think they should be ashamed of themselves for selling fake dresses and taking advantage of people who are just looking for a good deal.

Overall, my experience with Zibbet was not a good one. I hope that others can learn from my mistake and avoid making the same one. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy online shopping experience, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: A Disappointing Alternative to Etsy for Handmade Sellers

Zibbet is a website that claims to be an alternative to Etsy, but in my experience, it falls short in many ways. One of the biggest issues I've encountered is the lack of traffic. It seems like no one is visiting the site, which makes it difficult to get any sales. Additionally, the search function is broken, which makes it hard to find what you're looking for.

Another problem I've noticed is that resellers are not shut down. This means that people can sell items that they didn't make themselves, which can lead to trademark violations. This is a big issue for me, as I want to support independent artists and makers.

I tried using Zibbet for 9 months, but I didn't get a single sale. In contrast, my Etsy shop generated over 200 sales during that same time period. This is a clear indication that Zibbet is not a good platform for selling handmade items.

Despite promises of "site improvements" for over 3 years, there has been no sign of any changes. This is frustrating for sellers who are looking for a better platform to sell their items.

Overall, I would not recommend paying for a shop on Zibbet. Even their free shop option is a waste of time. If you're looking for a platform to sell your handmade items, Etsy is still the best option.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: A Waste of Time and Money for Sellers

Zibbet is a site that I would not recommend to anyone. The views that you do get on your products are not from real people, but rather from bots. The sales on this site are dismal and it is not worth the time and effort to try and sell your products here. The owners of the site control the forums and do not allow any hard questions or complaints to be posted. They also troll social media to silence any complaints that may arise.

The services that they advertise to bring in buyers are not provided and they only make their money by luring in paying sellers. Many of their most ardent supporters sell well on Etsy, but rarely on Zibbet. They claim that Zibbet is so much better, but there is definitely more to that story.

In my opinion, Zibbet is not worth one penny or one minute of your time. It is better to run away and find a different platform to sell your products on. There are many other sites out there that are much better and will actually help you to sell your products. So, save yourself the trouble and stay away from Zibbet.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: Total Scam and No Responsibility for Sellers

I wouldn't recommend using Zibbet (zibbet.com) to purchase anything. It's a total scam and they don't take any responsibility for their sellers. I recently bought an item from a seller named Yanna Kusumawati and the money was taken out of my account right away. However, I haven't heard anything from either the seller or Zibbet after trying to reach out to them multiple times. It's been a frustrating experience and I'm currently in the process of having Paypal reverse the charges and flag this seller. Unfortunately, this process is taking a lot of time, especially during this busy holiday season.

You would think that using Paypal would make the seller more legitimate, but that's not the case with Zibbet marketplace. It's really disappointing to see a company that doesn't care about their customers or the products they're selling. I would advise anyone looking to buy something online to avoid Zibbet at all costs. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.

Zibbet Etsy and Zibbet: Shady Business Practices and Disappointing Results

I used to sell on Etsy, but I had to leave because their fees kept going up and they were just acting so unprofessional. I thought I'd try Zibbet, but it was even worse because I didn't get a single sale. It turns out that Zibbet is actually owned by Etsy, so it seems like they just made it to try and get more money from people who were fed up with Etsy.

I think both Zibbet and Etsy are doing some shady stuff, and it's only a matter of time before people start to catch on. That's probably why their stock prices keep going down and their sales are declining. I wouldn't be surprised if their sales go down by more than 20% in the next few months.

It's really frustrating because I just want to sell my stuff without having to deal with all this nonsense. I wish there was a better platform out there that actually cared about its sellers.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: False Advertising and Difficult Messaging System

So, I was looking for a website to sell my handmade products and I stumbled upon Zibbet. The website looked promising as it advertised a $5/month plan. I was excited to give it a try, so I loaded my information and products and clicked on the FREE 14 DAY TRIAL button. However, to my surprise, I received an instant message stating that the cost would be $120 annually. I was confused and frustrated as the website clearly stated $5/month.

Luckily, I didn't set up payment and instead messaged their customer support team. I explained that I was only interested in the $5/month plan and that I was disappointed that the website was falsely advertising. To my dismay, I received an email stating that the only plan available was $10 paid annually or $12 month-to-month. I was disappointed that the website was not transparent about their pricing plans.

Furthermore, their messaging system was difficult to use, and it took me a while to get in touch with their customer support team. I advised them of all the above issues, and I hope they will improve their website and messaging system.

In conclusion, I would advise anyone interested in using Zibbet to be cautious and aware of their pricing plans. The website falsely advertises a $5/month plan, which is not available. Their messaging system is also difficult to use, and it takes a while to get in touch with their customer support team. So, be careful and do your research before signing up for Zibbet.

Zibbet Zibbet Review: Needs Major Improvements in Products Section

! But it seems like they need to work on their own platform first before they can help others.

I have been using Zibbet for a while now and I have to say, I am not impressed with their products section. It needs a lot of improvement if it wants to work properly. For starters, there is no option to select all in Variations. This means that if I want to make a change to all variations of a product, I have to do it one by one. This is extremely time-consuming and frustrating.

Another issue I have encountered is that when I edit variations and delete just one variation, like the Black color, all prices restart to the minimum or 0. This is a major problem because it means that I have to go back and manually adjust all the prices again. This is not acceptable, especially when I have 189 products and each product has 200+ variations. Do they think I have all day to manually enter the price one by one? Do they think I will change the price one by one? It's ridiculous!

To make matters worse, there are missing product photos when I import from Etsy. This is a huge problem because it means that my customers are not seeing the full range of products that I offer. And to top it off, there is no select all option to change the price. This means that I have to go through each product and each variation and manually adjust the price. This is not only time-consuming but also extremely frustrating.

Overall, I have to say that Zibbet's creative and technical team is very poor. They have no knowledge about what sellers need and it shows in their products section. It's funny because this platform wants to help make the work easier, but it seems like they need to work on their own platform first before they can help others. I hope they take these issues seriously and make the necessary improvements because as it stands, Zibbet is not a platform I would recommend to other sellers.

Zibbet Disappointing Experience on Zibbet: Low Traffic and No Sales

So, I was feeling pretty down about Etsy and how things were going there. I mean, my sales were just tanking and I needed to find a new platform to sell my stuff. That's when I stumbled upon Zibbet. I had never heard of it before, but I thought, hey, why not give it a shot? It's always good to have more than one place to sell your stuff, right?

Well, let me tell you, I was pretty disappointed with my experience on Zibbet. I opened up my shop on December 5th and since then, I've only had less than 200 views and no sales. Compare that to my stats on Etsy for the same time period - 22,274 views, 68 sales, and $4888 in revenue. Sure, my sales on Etsy might be declining, but at least I'm still making sales. Can't say the same for Zibbet.

It really grinds my gears that I even upgraded to a paid membership on Zibbet just to see these dismal stats. I mean, what's the point? I'll definitely be cancelling my membership once it's up. It's just not worth it.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Zibbet to anyone looking for a new platform to sell their stuff. Stick with Etsy or try out another platform that actually has some traffic and sales. Don't waste your time and money on Zibbet like I did.

Zibbet Disappointing Experience on Zibbet: A Review of the Platform for Sellers and Buyers

When I first started my shop on Zibbet, I was super excited about the potential for growth. There was a lot of talk about promotions and a rebuild that would lead to real growth. Unfortunately, none of those things ever came to fruition. Looking back, I realize that paying for a year upfront was not the best decision. The owners used to be really friendly and open, but now they seem distant and unapproachable. The forums are now on some sort of lockdown, and it seems like so many people have been muted that there's hardly any interaction at all. Sometimes it takes hours before anyone even shares a thought there.

Honestly, I can't in good conscience recommend this site to other sellers or buyers, even though I still have a shop there myself. I'm part of the group that signed on as a premium seller in the fall, but I haven't sold a single thing. This is despite the fact that I've been successful on other venues. I don't even get views on my shop there. It's just such a mess. I really don't see how they'll be able to recover from the latest mistakes they've made.

Overall, I'm really disappointed with my experience on Zibbet. I had such high hopes for this platform, but it's just not living up to its potential. I think there are better options out there for both sellers and buyers, and I would encourage anyone who's considering using Zibbet to think twice before making a commitment.
