I bought a sump pump on 3/20 and got it installed in our house. Unfortunately, the pump went bad on 2/17/2022. Someone suggested that I should replace at least the floater switch, if not the whole pump. I reached out to Zoeller, the company I bought it from, and they confirmed that the pump was still under warranty. They promised to send me a new floater switch, but it never arrived. Frustrated, I ended up replacing the pump myself today. However, Zoeller refused to honor their warranty. They claimed that Ace Hardware, where I made the purchase, should be responsible for the reimbursement. I contacted Ace, and they insisted that Zoeller should handle the reimbursement since it's their product.

I always use Zoeller pumps because plumbers say they're the best. I've bought many over the years, but the switches always fail. I've had to buy and install replacement switches, but they're just as unreliable. The first three pumps I installed eventually stopped working, causing flooding and water damage. The last two pumps I installed in my house, which I bought on 05/17 at ***, failed within months of each other. These pumps kept running even after the water drained, causing them to overheat. I was at home when the first one failed. I heard it running and saw steam coming from the pit. I unplugged it and eventually it went back to normal. Zoeller products.

I bought a Zoeller pump from a Contractor when he did my basement french drain. The Contractor put in 2 M53 series pumps, one with 1/2 HP and the other with 3/4 HP. But now, after some power outages, both pumps ain't working no more. I'm wondering why these submersible pumps stopped working after the power went out.

I bought a well pump from Zoeller Company and it came with a one-year warranty. Unfortunately, it stopped working after only four months. I reached out to both the manufacturer and the store where I purchased it, and they told me to buy another pump. However, they are now refusing to refund me for the first pump. I have made several calls, but they keep redirecting me from one person to another. I just want my $400 back.

On Thursday evening, February 18th, me and my partner started smelling sewage in our basement - we live in a new construction duplex down condo in Chicago. When we went to check it out, we also noticed that the carpet in the hallway outside of the closets that house our pumps, laundry room, and furnace were soaking wet. We called an emergency plumber who confirmed that our ejector pump had failed. He replaced the pump the next day (Feb 19th) and determined the cause of failure to be an impeller failure. The total cost of services including parts and labor was $1677.95. Additionally, we had to pay to replace the flooring ($2500). According to our builder, the pump should be covered for a minimum of two years. We have contacted Zoeller several times, their response is that the plumber should have saved the pump to get a 3rd party evaluation - this is not standard practice. They offered us a 'good faith' settlement of $500 which does not even cover the cost of the replacement pump.

My plumber installed a Zoeller m98 1/2 horse power pump and it failed within 3 months of installation. As a result, my basement flooded and my furniture, TV, and storage boxes got damaged. I contacted my plumber to address the problem. He tried to replace the pump with another Zoeller pump, but it was also damaged, so he had to use a different type of pump instead. I reached out to Zoeller to discuss the pump failure, but they told me to go through my homeowners insurance. Why should I do that when Zoeller's product failed? I read in another complaint that Zoeller asked the customer to send them the pump for disassembly and fault-checking. However, I don't trust them since they don't take responsibility for a faulty product that only lasted 3 months. I think Zoeller should be investigated for their pump failure rate between 2019 and 2020. I don't understand how a company can't stand behind their supposedly durable and reliable product. I just want my pump replaced and Zoeller to compensate me for the damages caused by the failure of their Zoeller m98 pump. All I'm asking is for them to stand behind their product and pay for the damages caused by their faulty pump.

I bought a submersible well pump from ***. It's a Zoeler 1/2 hrs 2 wire 125' pump. After it got installed professionally, the pump would stop working for a few minutes and then start again. It was installed on 6/29, the same day I bought it. By the end of the 4th of July weekend, the pump had cut out more than 30 times and stopped pumping. I sent an email to the company on Friday July 3rd and got an email back with a ticket number Ticket Ticket #***+GU7JK: .5 hrs 2 wire submersible pump saying they would be out of the office till the 6th of July. I sent another email on the 6th or the 7th to find out their plan of action, but I didn't get a response and still haven't heard from them. This pump cost me $1,300 to install and it doesn't work properly. I think the company should take responsibility for the faulty installation and the price of the pump. I also checked some reviews and information on the ComplaintsBoard.com site where there were many complaints about this company and the pumps they sell. Some reviews mentioned the same problems I'm experiencing and other pump issues that Zoeller wants to avoid or deny responsibility for. I can't afford to pay another $1,300 to install another pump, and most people can't afford it either. The fact that they never responded to my email for a solution is just bad customer service. I'd rather not take legal action to get this fixed, but I will if I have to.
