We had a really good time at 1st Choice autos
We had a really good time at 1st Choice autos. We found a 2019 Chevy Impala online and called to set up an appointment on the same day. They were able to get us a loan rate of 2.49% from Capital One bank right there at the dealership. The whole thing took less than 2 hours. Thanks!
Jus bought my 3rd car from 1st choice
Jus bought my 3rd car from 1st choice. They got the best deals when I wanna upgrade or get one for my kid. I used to deal with *** but I heard he retired some year back. This time, I worked with ***. I like how chill and no pressure it is at that dealership.
1st Choice Auto Corporation sold me a car without emissions
1st Choice Auto Corporation sold me a car without emissions. According to Georgia state law, a car sold within the 14 counties must undergo an emissions test before being sold by the seller. The car has had numerous problems, and it has taken almost 5 months for the tags to be ready. The customer service is absolutely terrible! The manager told me to handle the emissions test myself, but they said they would cover the cost. Seriously, shouldn't this have been their responsibility? Why am I the one having to take care of it?
The 2017 *** looked real good, and me and the mechanic didn't see no issues on regular roads
The 2017 *** looked real good, and me and the mechanic didn't see no issues on regular roads. But soon as I started driving on the highway, the car starts overheatin' -- gotta replace the head gasket. Cost me over $5,000 to fix it up. 1st Choice's response was like, "Sorry 'bout your luck, ain't our fault." If they can sell a car with such a big problem and not feel no moral or ethical duty, you better find yourself a different dealer who deserves your hard-earned cash.
1st Choice Auto got this Ram Promaster Diesel Van for sale right now (May ) for $25,000
1st Choice Auto got this Ram Promaster Diesel Van for sale right now (May ) for $25,000. I asked 'em if it's still up for grabs, and they said it is. So, I told 'em to take it to a mechanic, and they did. The mechanic said the van needs a glow plug, and the labor alone would cost over $1000. Guess what? The mechanic also said that 1st Choice Auto already knew about this 'cause he had worked on this van before and told 'em about it. But when I mentioned that I was flyin' down from Saint Louis to get it, they didn't say a word 'bout it. Watch out, folks!
Possible SCAM
Possible SCAM. I'm sharing photos with dates so you guys know what I'm dealing with. I've bought from small dealerships before so I'm not against small dealers, BUT this one in particular has my mechanics shaking their heads too. On 12/24, I bought a 2016 *** Tucson from this lot. You'll see that this car had *** mile on it when we purchased it. On 01/20/2022 at *** miles you see the check engine light is on as well and the Check Brake Light on the screen. That's not even a month from the date of purchase and only 627 miles driven. I've bought cheap, used cars from small dealerships and the only indicator that pops up on the dash is to remind me that it's time for maintenance. I wrote possible scam because I'm waiting to see what the dealership will do about it. I called on 01/20 for someone to tell me that the recon manager will give me a call back as soon as he can, but I didn't get a call back so I called again the following day and they said to call back on Monday. I know what the sold as is term is, but I'm sure the car had more issues than they shared. If you're deciding if you want to buy a car from this lot, I would pay the extra money to have a mechanic inspect the car OR DONT BUY FROM HERE.
We bought our 2017 Ford F-150 from Greg *** on May 19th
We bought our 2017 Ford F-150 from Greg *** on May 19th. During our test drive, the MyKey was set to only allow the car to go up to 70 mph. We didn't think much of it and really liked the vehicle and its price. When we got back from the test drive, we turned off the MyKey restriction but didn't take it for another spin. On May 22nd, we took the truck on the interstate, going over 70 mph, and coincidentally, the check engine light came on. We took it to the mechanic who said, "There's a lot wrong with this, and I hope you didn't just buy this truck." The quote to fix the truck was $4,000 because the timing belt, phasers, solenoid, and guide all needed to be replaced. I called a few times to reach the dealership, but they never answered. Finally, my husband called from his phone, and they picked up after the second ring. Greg promised he would "talk to the owner and make this right" and said, "This is not how we do business." Since that call on June 2nd, we haven't heard from the dealership again. They've been avoiding our calls, and other sales reps say they can't help us and that Greg will call us back. It's now June 14th, and we still haven't received our title/registration or any contact from Greg. Overall, our experience with this dealership has been a nightmare, and I don't have faith that we'll even get the license plate in the mail before our dealership plates expire. I don't recommend buying from here. They're shady, dishonest, and conveniently know which calls to answer and which ones to avoid. Before buying the vehicle, Greg responded to texts and calls right away, but ever since we left the lot, he's been "extremely busy" or on "vacation".
I bought a 2016 Nissan Maxima from 1st Choice Automotive Corporation in Smyrna, GA on June 20
I bought a 2016 Nissan Maxima from 1st Choice Automotive Corporation in Smyrna, GA on June 20. It cost me $17,899.00 and had 56,000 miles on it. The guy who sold it to me was Greg ***. On my way back to Tennessee, the dashboard told me I needed an oil change. I also noticed that the bottom of my trunk was missing, and there was just a carpet on top of the spare tire. We told Greg, and he took $100.00 off the price so we could order the missing part. The next week, I went for an oil change, and the oil guy said, "You know you have two bad tires, right?" I had no clue. They were legally worn out. I told a salesperson about it, and he asked, "Were the wires sticking out?" He didn't want to pay for the worn-out tires. On June 27, I got two new tires and an alignment, which cost me $693.30. While they were changing the tires, they noticed a bent strut. Two mechanics said I needed to replace both struts at the same time, so I did that on July 30. It cost me $889.14. I talked to Greg before getting the struts fixed, and he said they would pay $150.00 towards the repair because only one strut was bent. He said they would have paid $300.00 if they had done it through their mechanic, so he offered to pay half of what it would cost them. 1st Choice Automotive sent me a check for $150.00. Greg said they don't really inspect their cars, they only check if there are any error codes. On July 31, my car battery died, so I had it jumped and immediately got a new battery. It cost me $178.87. I did get a battery with a 3-year warranty. My car was sputtering that week and continued to do so the following week, so I took it to Nissan. They said I needed a new transmission. It's being replaced and will be ready on August 12. Luckily, I bought a warranty from the credit union that financed my car, so the warranty company is paying for a re-manufactured transmission. However, I still have to pay Nissan $135.00 for new transmission fluid. So far, I've paid $2024.27 out of my own pocket to fix my car. This dealer sold me a car at full price, assuming it was in good mechanical condition, but it wasn't. They didn't even do a safety inspection and admitted to it. By not inspecting the car, they put my life and my family's life in danger. The car wasn't worth what I paid, and a reputable dealer would have handled this differently. I drove the same car for 20 years and never had as many problems as I've had with this one in just one month. After 20 years, I was excited to finally buy a new car, but it's really disappointing that the dealer didn't care about helping me find a quality vehicle.

I got this jeep 2014 from them at the end of February this year, and let me tell you, this car is super faulty and shouldn't even be on the road
I got this jeep 2014 from them at the end of February this year, and let me tell you, this car is super faulty and shouldn't even be on the road. I've noticed that many other jeep owners are facing the exact same problem with this SUV. The computer system is all messed up and it's just no good. I've wasted so much money trying to get this issue fixed, but it seems like nobody can figure it out. I really want to trade in this car for another SUV, just not this one. It's just not a good car, and honestly, I'm scared to drive it because of safety concerns. It won't even drive properly, and all the lights keep coming on. I haven't even had it for 6 months and it's already a piece of junk.
I bought a car from 1st Choice Auto Corporation in November and put down $1300
I bought a car from 1st Choice Auto Corporation in November and put down $1300. They took the car back along with my down payment and first month's payment. I faced financial difficulties in December and they started bothering me about the payment in January, saying they might take the car. Even though a family member made the payment, they still took the car and kept the down payment and first month's payment. They're saying I won't get any of the down payment back due to damage, but that's not true. The only damage is a cracked windshield from the highway. They're also denying any record of the payment, but I have proof. I'm trying to get the money owed to me, but they're ignoring me.
I bought a car(financed) on OCTOBER 8,2021 and I thought I would get a clear title
I bought a car(financed) on OCTOBER 8,2021 and I thought I would get a clear title. But turns out the dealership sold me a car even though they knew it had a previous lien, so now I can't register the car. I've been to the MVD a few times and I've talked to the dealer multiple times, asking for a car that can be registered or a refund. The finance company even contacted the dealer, but still no title. They told me they can't reach the previous owners, so I just have to keep waiting for the title to get sorted out. In the meantime, I tried returning the car to the dealer/finance company. I asked to speak with the owner and went back to the dealer's office to get an extended drive out tag. I explained to the salesman, MO, that this isn't a proper solution because nobody has the proper paperwork. It's not fair to the customer to have to pay for a car that can't be registered. I also gave a down payment, but this dealership hasn't provided any of the assistance I asked for.

On May 26, I bought a 2016 Chrysler 200 from 1st Choice Autos
On May 26, I bought a 2016 Chrysler 200 from 1st Choice Autos. The car had 26,000 miles on it, and I got an auto loan from my bank for $17,000. Everything seemed fine until about a month later when the check engine light and service transmission message appeared. I contacted 1st Choice Autos, and they suggested I get a diagnostic test from my local CDJR. I had to pay $154 for that. The CDJR said there was a recall, but it might not fix the code in their system. If the check engine or service transmission messages came back, I would need a new transmission.
For the next two weeks, the car seemed to be running smoothly without any issues. But then, I got another check engine and service transmission message. Frustrated, I took my car back to CDJR once again. However, 1st Choice Autos now claims that the car won't be covered under warranty unless there are "disabling damages." Since the engine is still running, they say there's nothing they can do. It's really disappointing that they are refusing to fix the car, especially considering that it must have had transmission problems before I bought it. This issue is seriously affecting the car's performance.
Refund $500 deposit made towards the hold of a vehicle In April , I went to 1st Choice Autos to find a car for my teenage daughter
Refund $500 deposit made towards the hold of a vehicle In April , I went to 1st Choice Autos to find a car for my teenage daughter. I saw a 2016 Kia Optima and asked the salesperson what I needed to "hold" it. They said I had to pay a $500 deposit. So, I used my debit card and $500 was taken out of my account. About a week later, I found another car at a different place. I called 1st Choice Auto to ask about my $500 deposit. They told me it was NON-REFUNDABLE! I told them that they didn't tell me that when I made the deposit, but they didn't agree with me. ***(I didn't sign any paperwork)*** When I tried to talk about this on the phone, they hung up on me. I called again and talked to someone else. But once again, they hung up on me. I wanted to ask for the signed disclaimer that says deposits are non-refundable and a copy of the receipt that they gave me when I made the deposit.
We bought a car for our biz from 1st Choice Auto Corp in June
We bought a car for our biz from 1st Choice Auto Corp in June . Been over a year now and just realized the car ain't registered in our county (*** County, ). Supposedly the dealership handles that stuff. Also, we ain't got no title for the car. The local tag and title office said we can't register it without the title and we gotta contact the dealership to either mail it to us or ask Georgia to print a new one and mail it. But the dealership said no way, man. I called every day for days and they kept saying only "***" can deal with it, but she never called me back. I called the *** of *** Vehicles and they said the title was never printed and it's the dealership's job to do that and give us the papers. I tried and tried to get the dealership to help, even offered to pay the fees to reprint the title, but they didn't even call me back. Now we're stuck with a car we can't register unless we go through a long bond process. All I want is for the dealership to do their part and give us the title we asked for. Just so you know, when I first called them, I said we prolly lost the title since we had a copy of the *** of sale. But after talking to the *** of *** Vehicles, turns out that ain't true and the title was never printed, so they didn't give it to us. They also said reprinting the title is just one form and a small fee, which we offered to pay. It's a total refusal to help us with a simple thing that's their responsibility to customers.
I bought a 2015 MKZ Hybrid on February 26th, 2022
I bought a 2015 MKZ Hybrid on February 26th, 2022. The car had issues, and my salesperson offered a discount or repair. I chose repair at the advertised price. We noted this on the agreement, and I left the car for repair. They notified me on March 3rd of the repair. Upon retrieval, the car made noise and blew hot air. The salesperson acknowledged the issue, and we scheduled another repair. After 2 weeks and communication issues due to a sick employee, I found the car with a dead battery on March 23rd. They jump-started it, claiming it was fixed, but the air was still warm. Another employee and the salesperson confirmed the problem, but said they could do no more. The salesperson suggested driving it due to its hybrid nature, but the issue persisted. I contacted two dealerships; the earliest appointment was April 4th. They confirmed the fault and inquired about prior repairs. Lacking paperwork or warranty, I was without the car for over two weeks while a dealership repaired it. The warranty didn't fully cover the costs, leaving me to pay $1,746.36 and lose Lyft income. Mosaih stated 1st Choice wouldn't assist further since the car was paid for.
