Awesome service - I've had to have two water heaters replaced at my properties in the last couple months and both times they did great work for a reasonable price.

Had a basement backup after rain, they came out the same day and took care of what i needed quickly. *** was courteous and took care of us quickly. Much appreciated!

A1 Septic Service pumped out our tank in October. Their representative was polite and got the job done fast. Would recommend them to friends.

I had outstanding service; from my first call to tell the problem I was having, until ***, the technician left our home after he had cleared our blockage. All the associates I encountered were professional, well trained and very customer focused. This was my 2nd encounter with A1 and if I need sewer service again, they will be the ones I call.

He explained what was going on and used pics from his phone to show how my system worked and where the problem was located. He was professional and very kind. I felt relieved. I bought a new house recently and the main water shut-off valve was old and I was concerned it wouldn't shut off if I needed to. A-1 came out and replaced the main water shut-off and while they were here they checked my water pressure which was set to high. They returned the next day and reset it. I was pleased they could schedule me so quickly. The plumber was professional and knowledgeable to help me. I also appreciated the help from the dispatcher who kept me informed on when the plumber would arrive on both visits.

I highly recommend A1 Septic and Sewer. I have had them come out to our residence 3 times, once on the spur of the moment and twice otherwise on scheduled visits. I have had them clean sewer lines as well as plumbing work. It was brought to my attention that not all techs do plumbing work so my appointment schedule had to be tweaked by a couple hours to allow the availability of one who could do plumbing also. Their staff is very professional, personable and knowledgeable, from the the phone receptionist to the technician doing the plumbing or sewer work. A1 is my #1 pick for any plumbing etc work.

I have had A-1 Sewer and Septic out to my house on two different occasions. Both time I was extremely impressed with their expertise, professionalism, and friendliness. The technician were very willing to explain everything to me as I shadowed them; which has further enabled me to take care of my sewer and plumbing needs myself. In one instance, I had them come out for a sewer gas inspection, as I was getting unwanted sewer gas from an unknown source in my home. The technician was able to quickly identify the problem, which was an improper installation of a radon mitigation system, as well as thoroughly explain the issue, so I could navigate temporary solutions. With the report from A-1 I was able to get the Radon company to come fix their work.

This company was out ten days ago to clear my mainline. They warrantied the work for 90 days. They are supposed to be a 24/7 service. I called yesterday morning for an appointment. I was told they may not be out same day, but would definitely be today. I waited all day to hear from them as they call you 30 min before sending a technician. I missed their call by about 30 seconds, so I was pushed to the bottom of the list. I called them immediately back, but they still won't be out until sometime tomorrow. In the meantime, I can't use any of my plumbing and have to drive to a gas station to use the bathroom (during a pandemic). This is unacceptable and I suspect a ploy to not honor their warranty. I have used this company several times in the past and I am very disappointed in them. It is unreasonable to expect people to be constantly available to receive a 30-60 minute window

My daughter had them out to run her mainline. Instead of going through the mainline, the tech ran the line through the vent stack. Then he couldn't figure out how to get it through the mainline. His supervisor couldn't make it out until the next morning. He had to pul the toilet because there was no outside access. He wasn't going to put the toilet back in the only bathroom in the house until he was paid a $75 fee. Another tech came out the next day and unclogged it in no time. He apologized but charged them the original fee. One of these men left one of their *** toothed sewer blades in the container of my grandson's bath toys, probably by mistake. But gross,and my grandson, who is 3, found it and managed to get it to his mom before cutting himself. That could have caused a nasty infection. I've used these people before, and unless you get a senior tech you may not get the results you need.

A-1 is irresponsible and do not complete the contracted work. On 10/10, they sent a plumber to my house. Nothing done. Wanted a check for $75.00. On 10/18, same plumber came and took some pictures...cut a hole through my ceiling, and said he would come back to fix my leaking pipes.Gave him a check for $188.32. He never came back. I called A-1 to check the schedule.The girls answering the phones said the plumber would be rescheduled. Never happened.I eventually learned (after 2 weeks longer) that the person *** was actually the "scheduling person". Why didn't they tell me in the first place? I asked to talk to ***..he "wasn't in".Left a phone message for him; never returned my call. I, then, called my *** adjuster for the claim; she kept calling *** He never called her back. I have major problems with gushing water leaks from my upstairs bathroom: shower, stool, sink ... all the water comes washing down into my first-floor entryway. Has destroyed my hardwood floors. Can't use the shower, nor the stool, nor the sink. I have had to enroll my family at the *** in order to take showers. A-1 Sewer/Septic should be shut down. AWFUL COMPANY/AWFUL SERVICE. I didn't mention that they charged me for over $4,100.

Sewer compny charged me $166 for Main Drain cleaning job but they didn't finish it. They said it was a collapsed pipe and wanted to charge me double for service. But the next company did the same thing and cleaned it out with little trouble. They charged me extra for 15 minutes of work but the technician didn't do much. He turned on the hose, water backed up, and he was done. They charged me another $32.50.

I hired A-1 to pump my septic system. They came out and only removed the liquids, saying that the "solids were too thick to remove". They told me I would have to pay an extra $750 to get hydro jetting and empty the rest of the tank. I called other companies for quotes, and they said to check how thick the solids in the tank were. When I put a rod in, it sank all the way to the bottom without resistance. The other companies said they sent their technicians with tools called "crust busters" to mix the waste and remove all of it. They said I wouldn't need hydro-jetting to remove the waste, just someone to come pump it. I explained this to A-1 multiple times, but they refused to acknowledge that they charged me for a job they couldn't do. They expected me to pay more after the fact to actually have the service performed. Eventually, they told me "tough luck" and stopped talking to me. They offer a service they can't fully perform and try to convince people that their situation is more dire than it seems. They offer additional services that are excessive and unnecessary.
