Integrity, Quality and Trust? Questionable!
We had a new dual-unit system installed in June. Sales staff and installers were quick and efficient in both respects getting the system installed but after about a month we noticed one unit not-working and had it inspected. The tech "fixed" under warranty and diagnosed the issue to a faulty factory fuse. This was replaced but the unit stopped working again 2 days later.
Bear in mind that by this time it is now breaking records in Arizona for the most-consecutive days above 110-degrees. I called to schedule service again but the receptionists informed me that I'd have to wait until Monday for their new-installation/warranty specialist to address the problem.
After 3 long days of undue heat I left a message with the receptionist Monday morning at 7am for an update on the repair. Not until 4pm, and multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach the person handling our issue was I finally able to speak to the responsible person but she said there was nothing she could do and we'd have to wait 3-5 (MORE) days for the replacement parts to arrive and then additional time to schedule the installation.
She informed me that the manufacture of the new AC unit would not replace it and wanted to have the compressor (only) replaced. The compressor was not available in-state and had to be ordered.
She then informed me that we could rent (at my cost) a temporary AC from a 3rd-party company to ease the uncomfortable temperatures in our home due to this (warranty) issue. I asked to speak to a manager at this point because I believe Precision Air should really be stepping up to not only correct the issue more-immediately (like replace the unit) but at least provide some temporary cooling relief while waiting to repair the brand-new (faulty) unit. Again, the request was denied and I was told that Precision Air was operating per the manufacturer's warranty guidelines.
It is now going on 6 days without the air conditioner functioning and still no ETA for the repair. My elderly stepmother is suffering and I still have no update. I'm annoyed by the inaccurate phone advertisement when put on-hold after calling Precision Air by Erik Bryan (owner-founder) stating that his company puts integrity and people first. I'm floored that a company would not stand up willingly and proactively to address installing a faulty product.
I believe I made the wrong decision choosing Precision Air & Plumbing for replacing the air conditioning in my home.
Recommendation: Beware! I do not recommend now after my current experience.

I was looking for a new a/c company. Have seen *** on *** and *** for years. I knew when it was time to switch, Precision was my choice.When I called for appt, I was given details of what to expect. *** was very knowledgable and courteous. He explained in terms I understood what my unit needed now, and what it might need later. He told me about the "service plan" for the next 5 years and how it would be beneficial for my old a/c. I have always had those "plans" so I knew it's value.It is important to feel comfortable with a service company, and *** did his job well. I am sure I made the right choice to sign on with Precision.Glad they train their employees so well!

Precision Air and Plumbing are great. So glad we decided to use them to purchase our air conditioner. Today we needed plumbing help and they were here in less than 24hours. Our heat wouldnt come on after being gone for a few days. Placed a call to Precision at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, had a technician on site within 30 minutes, and repairs plus testing completed by 4:45. Great job to ***/Precision Tech!
The individual who came for the estimate was polite, answered all my questions, and did not try to sell me anything extra that I did not need or want. The technicians who performed the work executed an excellent job. I will highly recommend this company to anyone who asks me about repairs or replacing their AC/heating unit. This is a company that not only cares for and respects its clients but also employs very experienced and conscientious employees.

When our water heater failed, we conveniently requested service online. Our technician, Kalin, was there the next evening on time and prepared to diagnose and fix the problem. He was prompt, polite, and willing to finish the job even when the job pushed well into his Friday night. We were also pleased with Kalin's adherence to Covid-19 safety protocols, and that he left the work area clean when the job was finished. We feel secure knowing that when we need to "call someone" for a Plumbing or HVAC problem, we can trust Precision.

Today I had a 2 and a half ton air conditioning unit installed on the roof of my second-floor condo by Precision Air and Plumbing. Last week, a representative from the company sat down with me and was so professional in explaining all I needed to know and answering my questions. Today the two technicians spent half a day with the installation. From start to finish, I was so impressed. They worked tirelessly and carefully, making sure each step was completed to the highest standard. They were prompt in getting here, professional, friendly, experienced in the business, and competent. This was my first time buying a new AC unit, and it was an awesome experience.

We had our AC replaced yesterday. The crew of Teman, Tyler, Dave, Dino, and Andy showed up right when they said they would. They quickly got to work and prepped the inside so not to make any mess and make it easier to clean. I also work from home and they were respectful of that. Each of these guys were amazing and professional and I highly recommend you specifically asking for them when you use precision air. When they were completed they showed me the work in the attic as I was not about to go up there, and explained what was in each of the pictures. After I saw them they then began the cleanup and put everything just as they left it and vacuumed up as well. Very impressed and happy we chose them.

On 8/30/22 my AC went out and I called Precision Air. An AC tech (***) came out that same day. He got up on the roof, looked at my issue, told me he didn't have a long enough wire to correct the problem that day and then proceeded to tell me I needed an electrician, instead of telling me he would come back the next day with the proper wire and fix my AC. (my AC is under warranty btw). At his direction, I hired an electrician, at my cost, he fixed my issue. The Precision technician did come back the next day, but I don't feel I should have been told to hire an electrician, as Precision Air should have repaired it.
I have never worked with a more professional and friendly outfit in my life.From start to finish it was smooth sailing. I can't wait to refer them to someonein need of their services. Thank You
When I called at midnight on October 3rd, 2022, I was upset when told no one was available until after 7 AM. I expressed my frustration, questioning the promise of round-the-clock service, only to be given the excuse that they were all booked up with no one available. I called them again at 7 AM and was informed that the earliest they could come was 3 PM. However, they did arrive an hour earlier, and the technician displayed respect, expertise, and provided a summary of the job done. He cleaned up everything, a first in my experience. This technician is an asset to your company! He also apologized for the treatment I received during my midnight call. If it weren't for this technician's professionalism, Precision Air would have lost a long-standing client. My five-star rating is for the technician's exceptional service!

We requested a quote, got a visit from a rep the next day, received a fair price, and had the installation scheduled promptly. The team was responsive, courteous, and professional. We want to acknowledge the salesperson for his integrity and expertise, as well as the technician for a smooth installation. The repair man explained what the exact issues were and replaced my faucet that was wearing out and leaking after 20 years with a new one, and also replaced my shut off valve to the house which was also not working and would no longer shut off for any repair work inside. It was ore money than I had planned to pay that day to fix a leak under my sink, but once we found out what the issues were, I am very thankful that he caught both issues and repaired them that day. I would recommend Precision Air & Plumbing.
was very pleasant for a Sunday night. They sent a person to look at my A/C and figure out why it wasnt working. He was quick and efficient. The problem was a plugged condensation drain pipe. The estimate to cut the pvc pipe and blow it out with condensed air was $380.00, which i said was too much and would do it myself. He called his boss and came back with an estimate of $150.00. Still high but acceptable. Apparently the drain line is only guaranteed for 1 month if you have a service contract. Otherwise good job. Thanks for coming out in middle of the night.
Charged much more than DOUBLE current market price for parts and labor
I have been a customer for 22 years now. Their service and professionalism goes above and beyond the expected. They have the greatest employees, from the initial call in to their in the field service people. Very reliable and friendly company. Recommend using them for all your A/Call you back and plumbing needs. ?

We purchased (and had installed) a 5 ton a/c unit in July - or so we thought. Come to find out that during our 1 year inspection and check-up on 8/6 that Precision had actually installed a 4 ton unit. How does this happen? Do they not check the paperwork against the unit upon installation? Although Precision is taking responsibility for this mishap and coming to install the proper unit next week, this does not excuse their gross negligence in the matter. We believe that had the proper unit been installed as contracted, the *** they did install would not have had to work so hard to cool our home, therefore, providing us with higher utility bills during the last year.We had heard that our situation is not the only one like this in the last year.

We had no heat on Wed. morning and Mick came out, diagnosed the problem and presented us with several options including repair and replacement of the 8 year old unit. We chose replacement and Mick said he could get it scheduled for the next Monday. We said yes and he said he would do everything he could to expedite the installation. Lo and behold we got a phone call from Mick on Friday saying that he would be out that morning to do the install of the new unit. He and Ian showed up, the crane showed up and we had a new unit operating by 10 am that morning. These guys are the personification of professionalism, thorough in there training, concern for communication of what is going to happen, did happen and what to do next. The new unit's thermostat is really nice and has a WiFi feature that allows you to control it from your phone. Bottom line, I trust these guys to do a great job. Thanks, JRM

Had three A
Had three A.C. companies come out to give me bids on an A.C. / heating pkg. I ended up going with Precision Air . Reason , UPSELLING , after believing the total price for the unit and installation were agreed upon (the next day) I was given additional cost they forgot to add. Next day , Kyle (mgr) , came out , looked at old unit , took measurements , sat down and explained procedure , time and TOTAL cost of the installation. He did offer options and explained the value of each along with the increased cost. We set a date . On the day of installation Bruce and Major arrived with the new unit. In a matter of hours the old was gone , the new installed , They were very informative , friendly and courtious and went out of their way to keep the areas cleaned . I am very happy with the politeness of Bruce and Major and the professionalism they displayed. Nice guys , great job...Pat Pierce

My hone is now 11 years old and we all know builder grade material that is used. I contacted Precision Air & Plumbing for my AIR CONDITIONER and related items for service. My AC unit was changed 3 years ago and is operating perfectly. Last year in the fall I had my ducts cleaned and in the process the technicians that I consider having more insulation installed in the attic area. So I have scheduled Precision Air to add more insulation in my attic and the tech said it will help lower my electric *** during the heat of the ***. Also the tech installed a unit to purify the air in my home to help the unit to work more efficiently. We are very pleased with the service this company Precision Air has done for us. I would recommend PRECISION AIR and PLUMBING for any services needed in your home, The technicians are very knowledgeable and fully explains what is involved in the service before its accomplished. There are no surprises .

We've been using Precision Air & Plumbing for many years now and, honestly, it's mostly apples & oranges when it comes to comparison between different companies. I do like the owner's business model and belief system, however, in as far as how to treat their customers and making sure their techs are knowledgeable, well-trained, and thorough. Let's face it though, like everyone else, they're in business to make money and SALES is a big part of that equation. We've been mostly happy with the product, service, and treatment we've received, but I feel like we should own some shares of stock at this point. But I also think I should get a $15 per hour discount for self-checkout at the store, too ! Another thing... I understand inflation and cost increases, but $166 for a coil cleaning (and we have a Precicion Maintenance Agreement) ? At least we don't have an H.O.A. (talk about legal robbery) and had a little change in the kitty, otherwise we'd have really needed another stimulus check.

We would have liked to give Precision a 5-star review, but the installation was flawed when the skirting around the new unit was not completed with the initial installation. Instead, we had to wait and follow up with Precision to get the job completed. The technicians sent to complete the installation were professional and friendly, but their work took quite a while to complete. They admitted that they had to ***-rig the skirting since the right part was not available at the time of the initial installation. The result is a brand new ac unit on the roof that works fine but does not look as sharp as we had hoped it would. Bottom line, we made a sizable investment in a project that was nearly flawless, except Precision dropped the ball at the last minute and did not complete the job with a standard on a par with the rest of the service. Too bad Precision did not place a higher priority on completing the job right the first time. It would be a testament to the outstanding workers of Precision if they were empowered to complete jobs fully with the initial installation.

Denied service today showing signs of discrimination. After I made a service call to diagnose my air conditioner problem, the tech came in, told me how much the diag fee was, flipped the switch on the thermostat, said it was probably a blower motor problem, left to get a 'ladder from the truck', made a phone call, then left. I called the office to inquire about if he was going to do a thorough diagnosis as advertised and was told that "the tech will not be returning, no tech will ever come back out to my location in the future and they will not do business at my location" and that this information came from "the owner , from the top down"! I couldn't get a reason why, I couldn't speak with any management and was not given any other information. I wonder if this will make the customer review since there aren't any disparaging comments about Precision Air listed. I can't help but to think I was discriminated against as this heightened climate these days are very serious. My neighbors told me afterward that they always use Precision but after hearing my story, they will rethink their next maintenance call.

I always do my homework--whether I'm checking out a new restaurant, dog grooming or in this case, looking for a new AC company. Our last AC company went out of business and we knew we had to find a new, reputable company (since our old AC unit is going on 10 years old). I heard Precision's TV commercials and was impressed by the veteran owner, the family business, and it's no-nonsense, informative approach. I researched the company online, through ComplaintsBoard.com, AzROC and read through the Yelp/Facebook reviews (as well as any complaints). Then I called them to do a pre-summer check on our unit. Service was fast, excellent response and reasonably priced. Then, I had to call them recently for our old unit blowing hot air. They not only answered the phone after 5pm, they sent James Shelton, their friendly and knowledgeable tech, out that same evening. So much better response then our old AC company where we'd wait for an entire day--or even two--for service. I was impressed! We are now using Precision, not only for servicing this old unit, but when we're ready to buy a brand new one within the next year or so. They've earned our trust and business. Job well done! This company is a sales driven, and business ethics compromised entity
This company is a sales driven, and business ethics compromised entity. Individuals with this company will lie to you about the condition of your existing equipment in order to sell you new equipment, and warranties. This company is not customer service driven, nor is this a mechanical service & repair company. Do not mistake their salesmanship for customer service, or mechanical knowledge. They may or may not know, what mechanical problem your equipment has developed, and it makes no difference to them. When your equipment has a system failure, that gives these people the opportunity to tell you anything, in order to sell you new equipment. This is a sales company, driven by greed. This is not a mechanical service & repair company, nor do they value customer service, or returning customers. I recommended this company once upon a time, 13 years ago. I have seen the new install of the *** unit. I have seen the maintenance *** of said maintenance. I have experienced the service call when the unit has a system failure. I have experienced the technician who lies about the condition of the unit, and repairs required. I have received the quote for the 2nd new unit recommended by this company. And, I have experienced calling their office with a complaint about their lack of service, both mechanical service, and customer service. Use this company at your own financial risk. If you choose to use this company, and you don't get second & third opinions, you likely will be taken advantage of financially. They have poor business ethics, poor customer service, and poor mechanical ability. They will definitely sell you a new unit, whatever it may be, which you already have. You better call a different mechanical contractor.
