Our old water heater started leaking, so I needed someone to come out fast. Bo from MSP Plumbing and Heating was at my house within an hour of my initial call. He got to work right away on replacing it, and was careful and conscientious about best practices and doing everything to code. It was finished in just a few hours and the work area was all cleaned up before he left.

Dan explained what he needed to do to fix the laundry faucet, answered all of our questions, and provided recommended life cycle information on some of the parts. The new faucet works great. I was impressed with everyone from Dan, the office providing multiple appointment reminders, and their system where parts not in the plumber's truck are delivered to the plumber on site, right away.

MSP is clear in what you might need, what it will cost, and when and how they will get it done for you. Dan, the plumber we worked with was very professional and efficient. We knew we were in good hands for our plumbing needs. Will definitely use them again. It is also good to know they have been servicing this neighborhood since I was a kid growing up in the 'hood. ( I'm 79, live in St P in Summit/Hill)

Thanks for the quick response on the coldest day in Jan! Tim did an excellent job in explaining what might have caused the furnace to shut down. Replaced the filter, checked gas pressure etc. and made sure that everything is working properly. He waited for the second stage blast to start. Very timely and courteous service from first phone contact, technician arriving within 2 hours, through fixing the issue. Great service!

I've used MSP for several years now. They've installed a new water heater, new water softener, new furnace system, pipes, a toilet, repaired our A/C unit and performed regular annual maintenance tasks for each. Every technician we've worked with has been fantastic, with strong attention to detail, clean, friendly, good communicators and fast. I would highly recommend MSP to anyone that is in need of their HVAC or plumbing services!

Thomas was our tech today, for installing12 shut offs in our kitchen and our 3 bathrooms. He wore his mask and shoe cover, along with distencing because of covid. He is very knowlegable about the work he does, and explained how all new things worked, for shutting off incase of an emergency. also answered any questions we asked cleaned up every thing when he was done. We couldn't be more pleased with MSP and all of their techs .We would recommend MSP for all needs.

I had a new furnace and air conditioner installed in August; however, when I finally turned on the furnace, i noticed the thermostat was not working properly. As a result, there was a need to replace the "new" thermostat with a "newer" one. All is now working properly. I am impressed and most appreciative of MSP's determination to remedy the problem; they were most expeditious is resolving the problem. They clearly stand by their product and work. Both technicians were very professional and personable.

MSP performed maintenance tasks on my AC unit and evaluated it for possible replacement. The service technician is amazing. Mitch tells it like it is. He is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and a great communicator. He enjoys educating his customers and this customer is happy to learn. I wholeheartedly recommend MSP services. A huge shout out to Drew as well. He is wonderful to work with. He is also extremely knowledgeable and is excellent at explaining in a way that customers can understand.

MSP has been our reliable go-to for heating and plumbing for 15 years. Everyone we have dealt with really cares about the work they perform and respects your property with a complete clean up of any area they were working in. Recently we were saved by Nick with a laundry room faucet replacement and because of his knowledge and experience he noticed something with our water heater. Solely because of him a very dangerous situation was avoided and he saved us thousands in potential damages to our home. Will 100% continue to work with MSP.

Scheduled a tuneup for my furnace. Tech came and told me that my system wasn't working due to no gas voltage getting through to ignite, however, my heat had just been working that morning and previous days. Tech stated he couldn't complete the tuneup but still had to charge me. Also quoted me prices for repairs as well as a whole new furnace. I called someone else for a second opinion and everything is working just fine! They even replaced the batteries on my thermostat and checked my filter, things that MSP didn't do at all. Seems like MSP is just looking for a sale, I don't recommend them.

My wife & I subscribe to their monthly membership plan, which includes annual maintenance check-ups all of our systems. Every time the technicians have come out to our home, they have been very friendly, helpful and professional. We had Matt out today to perform our A/C system tune-up and he was able & willing to take the time to also assist with replacing our U/V bulbs in our furnace system. The advice he provided was very helpful and I am grateful to have access to professionals who care about educating their customers. I would highly recommend MSP to anyone that has a need for parts or service that fall under their umbrella!

I had an issue with my Garbage Disposal last night. I hate making calls for services, I'm a millennial and I love when I can schedule online and then the option to text the companies dispatch to set up my appointment. They were able to send Bo to the house the very next day. In the times of Covid-19 it was nice to have the offer of a mask and caution to that affect. Bo came and actually spent the time to explain in depth how the water moves through the systems in my house and what doesn't need to be replaced, but stuff to keep in mind. It really sucks to have to drop money on a household appliance at random. But I can't say enough how great the experience was as a whole. I'll be using MSP a lot more for any home needs!

We had our furnace and AC replaced today, Sep. 29 after a thorough inspection showed failing heat exchangers. We also had our water heater tuned up and examined. All the technicians who came and performed their respective jobs - Jeff, Alex, Nick, Thomas (I might have missed some) were all prompt, courteous, and did their job way more detailed and unbelievably thorough. For example, the water heater tune up included draining and valve/rod check up - this was never included by other contractors who did the same job before. The same is true with the HVAC installation - the ductwork, piping connections, etc. were obviously all professionally installed, and thoroughly reviewed with us. Highly recommended for your plumbing, heating nd cooling needs.!

Never again! What a complete ripoff! So glad I didn't take them up on their offer of service. They were going to charge me on July 9 for materials only $3726 to replace six faucets in the house. Then on top of this outrageous quote (none of these faucets needed replacement), the plumber was going to charge me for labor an additional $2000 at a rate of $550 per hour. My mouth dropped in shock. He then rationalized his outlandish quote with this rationalization: "Well you know I went to school 5.5 years to get to this point and I really worked hard to get here." I was like "***", as I said to myself:" I have three degrees and it took me 9.5 years to earn them and I make about a tenth of your quoted hourly rate." I complained to his manager about such an outlandish quote and he basically stated, "What's the big deal", quoting me the cost of the job and neglecting to mention his cost of labor quote. I felt thoroughly dissatisfied with his conversation with me. I wondered in this incident with the common business practice of "assuming the customer is always right." I was so dissatisfied that I wrote to the president of the company about my complaint. Of course I recd no reply and just assumed he just saw me as "another disgruntled customer" and didn't give me the time of day. I did my research showing this quote to other master plumbers. They were blown away by MSP's outlandish quote not based in reality. They stated the going rate for master plumbers in the field was about $140-$150 per hour, far less than the $550 quote given to me. I complain about this because I don't want this plumber representing MSP ripping off other unsuspecting customers, especially elderly customers living on a fixed income. How dare you pull that crap on others! Shame on you and this company! I will gladly recommend to others NOT to use your services. Thomas

I called MSP Plumbing to fix two leaky faucets. A repair guy came and gave me an estimate of $677, which surprised me because I could have done it myself if I could get the solder to stick. I said that, but gave him the go-ahead. He fixed the first faucet, which was a ball valve, in about 30 minutes. The second one took 20-30 minutes. I mentioned that $677 was a lot for an hour's work, and he lowered it to $609. I signed his device, but got no receipt. I don't remember him saying $423. If I saw $1032, I wouldn't have hired him. I think it's price gouging.

MSP put in a minisplit ac system in our house in May '20. The 1st floor couldn't keep up with the cooling need of the house from the start, but the 2nd floor was okay. We called MSP many times, but their solutions never quite worked. Last summer, with temps reaching 100 degrees, the 1st floor unit couldn't keep up, but the 2nd floor worked fine. The technician came out on 8/24 and said the 1st floor unit was only working at 75% capacity and they would come up with a solution. We haven't heard from them since. After the visit, the 2nd floor isn't working like it did before. The technician must have changed the 2nd floor settings while trying to fix the 1st floor. We paid over *** for the *** system, and I'm worried they'll say it's out of warranty if this goes on much longer.
