PlumbersStock's Return Policy is Inflexible and Unfair - Beware Before You Buy
I recently made a purchase from PlumbersStock for a shower valve with a 1/2" water connection. I was excited to start my remodel project, but unfortunately, I had to wait for other materials to arrive before I could begin. When I finally opened up the walls, I discovered that the water connection was actually 3/4". I was disappointed to find out that the valve was not going to work for my project and it was still in the original box, never installed.
I realized that I was 3-4 days beyond the 30-day return period, but I decided to reach out to PlumbersStock to see if I could still return the product. To my surprise, they informed me that their policy was no returns after 30 days from shipping. However, I noticed that their website clearly states that the return period is 30 days from the date of receipt.
I explained to PlumbersStock that the product was still new in the box and easily resalable. I also mentioned that I was only over the 30-day policy by a few days and asked if they could make an exception. Unfortunately, PlumbersStock responded that they would not make any exceptions to their policy.
I understand that I was over the 30-day policy period, but I have returned items to Amazon and even directly to Grohe well over 30 days later without any issues. I was even willing to pay a restocking fee, but PlumbersStock was not willing to work with me.
In the future, I will be sure to buy from Amazon for their generous and hassle-free return policy. I will not be purchasing from PlumbersStock again and I strongly discourage others from doing so as well. It's important to be aware of a company's return policy before making a purchase to avoid any disappointment or frustration.

I had placed an order for an American Standard toilet on July 5, 2021, with an estimated lead time of 38 days. However, even after several follow-up emails to inquire about the status of the order, there was no news of shipment until August 16th. At that point, I was informed that the estimated ship date had been pushed back to 9/10 due to warehouse delays.
Despite this information, I still had not received any updates on the shipment by 9/27. Upon checking again, I was informed that they were getting the product from the manufacturer, despite the website showing their partner vendor in TN having it in stock, with no option indicating where the fixture would be shipped from.
To make matters worse, on 9/29, after yet another inquiry about the shipment, I was informed that the fixture was on backorder until January 2022. I was given the option to either wait for the product or cancel the order for an immediate refund, but they needed my approval to cancel with the partner vendor.
As a result, I am extremely disappointed with PlumbersStock's service. It is unacceptable to take a customer's money without delivering the product. I do not plan on ordering from them again in the future.

When I attempted to contact them through email or live chat, I did not receive any response. I was extremely disappointed, especially since the website indicated that customer support was still available through these channels, despite COVID-19 related restrictions.
After researching, I was able to find a phone number for PlumbersStock, only to be met with more frustration. The person who answered the phone informed me that they were at corporate and transferred me to another extension that rang indefinitely. Upon calling back, no one picked up!

As far as I was concerned, there was no indication the item had been shipped, nor had I received the promised email message with tracking information.
At this point, I decided I would refuse the package if or when it ever arrived. I regret having to give such a negative review, but it was a necessary step to warn other buyers to do business with PlumbersStock at their own risk. In my opinion, they fell short in their customer service and delivery promises, and I would have given them negative stars if that had been an option!

When I requested if they could ship the item out on priority shipping which should have only cost a couple of dollars more than the standard rate, they simply offered expedited service at a staggering $32, which was even higher than the actual kit.
As a customer, I feel that it was important for PlumbersStock to have accommodated my inconvenience and shipped out the product promptly. Instead, they chose a lower path which was quite discouraging. If this is how PlumbersStock treats their customers, then I'm afraid I cannot recommend them to anyone.
