This company SUCKS
I put up with them for years because they had good prices but they have become so bad its impossible just as the other complaints state. Now I no longer will purchase anything from them, cant trust they will send you the right stuff, cant trust they will have anything in stock, cant depend on timely responses, its hard enough to be in business these days with people relying on you to help them, then have a supplier that sucks just makes it worse. Then they had the audacity to get their feathers in a mess cuz I was pissed off, to friggin bad, good riddance to them. I am sure they are failing as a business and why most of their stuff is OUT-OF-STOCK all the friggin time. I have to have a supplier I can count on so my7 customers can count on me, it just isn't these idiots.

The pump doesn't work with the power supply. My attempt to get support was met with a robo-email saying basically I need to get support in order to get support. No instructions on how. Waste of money, time and effort. Very frustrating. Terrible way to treat customers.

i am writing to express my total dissatisfaction with Fresh Water Systems located in greenville sc.
The customer service rep [Camia Brown] refused to give me her immediate supervisors name and number as well as the owners! I had to look up the principals on BBB.
They are Mr. Steve Norvell, CEO and Miss Savannah L Norvell, Marketing Specialist! I have not heard back from them as well. They should be ashamed how their company conducts
business! I have left numerous negative reviews online and continue to work blogs to reveal this companies short comings! i couldn't help but notice that the web is filled with negative reviews
already for basically the same deficiencies? its a wonder that Fresh Water Systems is still in business with such disastrous service!
Furthermore when i made this transaction on the website the checkout redirected me to a PayPal portal where i had to log on and authorize payment!
it then redirected back to the website and on to my order form where it auto populated the fields with my name and shipping address etc!
But in the phone number field it had populated my PayPal password? As you can imagine i was alarmed! But when the invoice came by email it
had the correct phone number in the field? But then the company emails me saying its a fraudulent charge and they are not shipping! I filed a
claim [C19-00153] with the South Carolina State Attorney Consumer Protection department to investigate against your company for any illegal capturing of my data!
In addition I also filed a claim with PayPal [PP-I=4020027 to investigate thecompany impropriety!
FreshWaterSystems.com was paid immediately and confirmed by PayPal receipt yet they refused to ship claiming fraud! i received no notice from PayPal or my bank as they claim and
I expect to be refunded immediately ! Not tomorrow, not in 5 days! Today !
A Tracey knight called me from their sales management ad made good on all of this! hopefully no more static!

Wow! I should have read the reviews before ordering. So many bad reviews!

Long story short: they sent me a wrong order and all I wanted from them is to get the right one
It took me 3 weeks to reach them and one more week to get their call back. Absolutely unorganized and clueless staff, probably because of an endless turnover, so no wonder no one knows how to treat and how to talk to customers. No one trains them because no one cares.
Still been trying to resolve it and not being successful.
Run away from them, people.
Wrong filters
I needed to buy a filter but I had no clue which one to order so I contacted FreshwaterSystems and asked their rep for help. We discussed everything and their rep offered me to buy a set of filters.
When my order arrived filters did not fit! I contacted FreshwaterSystems and told them that something terrible happened and that filters which were recommended to me by one of their reps did not fit. Lady on the phone said that they need time to find out what happened and asked me to contact them back later.
When I did they did not even apologize! They refused to refund my money or send me the correct set! That was the worst experience in my life! I am very disappointed and will not buy from them again!
One filter was damaged
I have ordered a lamp and two filters from www.freshwatersystems.com. When my order arrived one filter was damaged, so I contacted the company by mail and asked for a replacement. Since there was no reply I decided to try their phone number, but no one ever picked up the phone. I hope someone from the company reads this, because I really need help. Thank you.
Very disappointing
I made an order, but unfortunately FreshwaterSystems sent me the wrong product. So I contacted their customer service and asked for a return label. I spoke to them many times, but I have not yet received a return label to return the wrong item. I need the return label and I have all the rights to send the product back, because it was their fault in sending me the wrong item. It is now three weeks since I ordered and I'm getting quite nervous. I sent them a message yesterday, but still no response.
Too slow
I bought several filters and parts. One of the parts was not delivered. shipped in my order. I contacted them explaining the situation and they shipped me a detail from a different manufacturer which didn't have the needed connector. Contacted customer service again and their rep explained that the detail I needed was out of stock. Yet, weeks later, that part still shows as available. They promised to send me a return label. Few days passed and there was nothing from them. Then two weeks later they finally got around to emailing me a return label. The customer service is extremely slow. I had to wait two week for the return label, then a week for them to receive the product, another week for a refund! Too slow.
Poor customer service
They sent me the wrong product and I had spoken with their customer service many times. They promised to send me a return label, but I have not yet received it. And it should be their responsibility to send me the right item because it was their fault in sending me the wrong item. I made an order two weeks ago and heard nothing from them. I hope I’ll receive the label soon. But the customer service is pretty useless.
Horrible service.
I made an order and they promised to ship out my item the same day. I also paid extra paid for two day shipping. After two days I received my package, but there was only part from what I have ordered. They admitted that they made a mistake and promised to fix everything. Two weeks later there was still nothing, so I contacted them and argued on the phone for two hours. Finally they agreed but only if I would pay $50. There was nothing to do so I agreed since I needed that item. In the end they delivered everything, but I can't get back two hours of my life I spent on fighting with them.

I ordered two filters from this site. But then I remembered that I saw pretty nice filters in the store next to my house. So I decided to cancel my order. So I cancelled it the same day. I didn't receive any email saying whether or not the order was cancelled. So, I decided to call the and ask about it. I was talking to one of FreshWaterSystems agents. He said that my order wasn't cancelled and the package had already been shipped. He told that I can receive the package and send it back to them and they will refund full amount. I agreed. So, I received the items and didn't even open the box. I shipped it back to them and was hopping to get my money. A week passed and there was no single call or message from them. I decided to call them. I was worried about the status of my return and my refund. FreshWaterSystems agent said that they received the package and I'll get the money in few days. I don't know why, but I didn't believe him. Well, it's almost three weeks and still no money. Don't trust this company, they are liars and thieves.

I ordered a steam distiller over a month ago (6/16/2012) and they sent the wrong filters for it. Also a water cooler sanitizer spray I ordered with it was 2 years (yes I said TWO years) past its expiration date - which was clearly printed on its front.
They refunded the cost of the sanitizer but have completely failed on sending me the right filters. Many weeks and emails later and I still do not have the filters. Each time they blamed their shipping department.
So I emailed again a week and a half ago but they never replied this time. So I notified them on Monday (exactly a month to the day I placed my order) that I am filing a complaint against them with the BBB and a fraud complaint with my credit card company.
That seemed to light a fire under them and supposedly Wednesday (7-18) I was to receive the filters for my distiller. Well now it is Friday and I had to write them again as still no filters.
It is now over a month since I bought my distiller and still no filters.
I do not know if they are just so incompetent or intentionally cheat customers? Consider them: 1) cheaters, 2) Sellers of outdated sanitizing products, and 3) They put you on ignore after a while as they repeatedly fail to correct their mistakes.
A completely useless and sad company!
"Terrible! I ordered a part from their web site and paid with Paypal. A day later I got an email saying that the part was on backorder. I called to cancel the order. The order was not canceled. I called again to cancel. The order was still not canceled. I called for the 3rd time today and was told that they haven't had that part on hand since 2010. Of course I've been promised that they will cancel the order this time, but I'm not holding my breathe. I guess the easier way is to dispute the charge through Paypal. These guys are a joke!"
These guys don't care about their customers
These guys don't care about their customers. i purchased a $70 valve from them as a prototype to develope a water shut off for people with galvanized pipes. after a few months the valve failed so i contacted them about returning or replacement...that's when the "joke" started...they would call me back as soon as they talked to the manufacturer. i thought then, why the manufacturer, i bought it from YOU. well, weeks passed and no call back. tried again and got the same customer service guy, jeff, with the same story...weeks passed and nothing.
they are happy as larks to sell you something but have a problem...huh, they don't even know you. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
