Unresolved HVAC Issues and Poor Customer Service
We first contacted A&R Complete Service in early September because our HVAC unit wasn’t working. The system would only blow air constantly and wouldn’t turn off. A tech came out and “fixed” the issue. The air conditioner started working, but the fan kept running nonstop.
The tech came back and finally got the fan to turn off. Fast forward a few weeks — when we needed the heater, only the fan would run again, and no heat came out. Same problem. I requested a follow-up, and a different tech came out that same day. He spent about 15 minutes and said the issue was fixed.
Fast forward to last night — we used the air conditioner, but now the fan won’t turn off again. I submitted another service request. When the service department called this morning to schedule, they said the tech could come out tomorrow between 12-4. I told them that I couldn’t turn the fan off, even after shutting down the entire unit, and that it smelled like something was burning. The representative was extremely rude and just said they were within their 24-hour policy
I am deeply disappointed with the unprofessionalism, poor customer service, and lack of urgency displayed by A&R Complete Service. Their inability to properly resolve the HVAC issues after multiple visits has forced me to seek help from another company. I will never recommend A&R Complete Service to anyone
Recommendation: DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY
Document all interactions with A&R Complete Service, including the unresolved HVAC issues and their failure to provide a proper fix. Express your disappointment in writing, requesting a refund or compensation for the faulty service. If they remain unresponsive or uncooperative, consider escalating to a consumer protection agency or hiring a different HVAC company to resolve the issue. Keep records for further action if needed.
